Avoid them like the plague. It's been 3 months since we moved out of our property, which was rented through Haart, and we still have no idea when we will be getting our deposit back. In a cost of living crisis depriving people of £1673.05 seems insane but apparently this doesn't matter to Haart. It initially took a month for our property manager (Melissa) to tell us anything about our deposit, despite multiple emails sent and calls made, all of which were ignored. When we finally heard from her we were told 'the external clerk is having issues with his system' and that we would have to wait longer still. It was then another week before we heard back, at which point Haart attempted to deduct a substantial amount of our deposit. All for things we did not do: cleaning fees despite us leaving the place in a far better state than we found it, fees for the removal of a broken mirror and draw, both of which were broken when we moved in and are pictured already broken in the inventory given to us by Haart at the start of our tenancy. We obviously had to dispute this, which we did the very same day we received the email about the deductions (26/07/23). We were unable to raise an official dispute for over two weeks as they didn't tell us how to, once again we called and emailed repeatedly all to no avail. Since then we have heard absolutely nothing from them, once again despite us emailing and calling multiple times a week. At this point in time we do not know how much longer we will have to wait. I am not one to usually leave bad reviews but at this point we do not know what else to do. Here's hoping that they might suddenly care now that their incompetences are out for the world to see. There's plenty more I could say about Haart based on the things they put us through during our tenancy but all we want right now is to have our money, which we desperately need, back and to put this nightmare behind us.

Your customer service personnel Ellie called me to argue with me about a viewing she didn't turn up to. Last week I was booked to view Soundwell close on 7/10/23 at 12:30 p.m. We got a text message to confirm the booking. My wife and I turned up at the said date and time to view the property but no agent was there. We rang Haart's estate agent's office and the person who answered our call confirmed the booking, she then said she would contact the Bristol office to inform them we were waiting at the property. After waiting for some time we left. On 9/10/23 Ellie called me to rebook the property on 16/10/23 at 3 pm. On 10/10/23 I received a call from Haarts estate agent staff who was asking me about who whole experience during the registration with Haart and during the viewing, I explained that my initial registration was good but I was disappointed no one showed up on Saturday to view the property with us and no explanation has been given about this. Ellie rang me this morning 11/10/23 to argue with me about why I gave this information. Look this is our first time viewing a property with this estate agency, we don't want any problem, we have cancelled our viewing on 16/10/23, sorry we don't want any argument. Thank you.

A LONG overdue review for this phenomenal letting agency. Having had bad experiences from other letting agencies in the past, I was slightly wary renting with haart but those worries soon disappeared after I spoke to one of the loveliest, friendliest person ever Nicola Lewis. She instantly helped me to find the right place and went above and beyond by offering alternatives which made me feel like she genuinely cared which is so rare these days! She was so warm and considerate and was extremely good at communication which was really great to have as I had previously spent days with my previous agency spending days chasing them up. The absolute worst human beings I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I have been put through weeks of lies and misinformation, haart lettings consistently failed to communicate and meet deadlines meaning that the move in date has been pushed back by nearly a month, meaning I have had to give up the tenancy and move elsewhere, being essentially homeless in this period. Following the utter incompetence haart lettings had the balls to suggest that the communication on my end was the problem, despite simultaneously labelling me as a "prolific caller", haart were also extremely unprofessional and patronising, taking absolutely 0 responsibility for the outcome of the property. Utterly useless. Avoid at all costs!

I have had a lovely experience with Haart so far, this is my first renting a whole house and Thomas has been very helpful, welcoming and cheerful from the start. Our viewing felt relaxed and we had plenty of time to look at the house without feeling rushed or pressured at all. Great service and highly recommended. haart were professional throughout, marketed our property very well and achieved a quick sale at a good price which we were very satisfied with. I've let my property in Bristol through Haart for many years and I'd highly recommend Nicola and her team. They provide an excellent service, going over and beyond what is expected of a lettings agent and have consistently found great tenants for my property. Any issues that arise during the course of a tenancy are quickly communicated and resolved.

Lack of communication and transparency. Absolutely awful and unprofessional service. Called to view a property as soon as the advertisement was posted for it, and been told we will call you back to arrange a viewing, I called everyday to make sure I don’t miss out and still received the same response, eventually the property went let agreed and they didn’t even call me for a viewing. Absolutely not worth it, worse agency in Bristol so far.
