However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed and frustrated, prompting me to share this honest review of my unfortunate experience. Upon entering iplay, the initial impression was underwhelming. The ambiance lacked the vibrant energy that one would expect from an amusement center, and the overall atmosphere felt lackluster and uninspiring. The first major setback was the staff's lack of attentiveness and professionalism. Despite the noticeable crowd, it seemed like the employees were disinterested and unmotivated. They appeared more engrossed in their own conversations rather than being attentive to the customers' needs. Requests for assistance were met with indifference, leaving us feeling like an inconvenience rather than valued patrons. The next major disappointment came with the condition of the facilities and equipment. Many of the arcade games were out of order, which was frustrating, especially when trying to find a specific game to enjoy. The ones that did work were in dire need of maintenance, with buttons and controls malfunctioning, greatly diminishing the gaming experience. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place was subpar. The floors appeared sticky, and the tables were not properly cleaned, which left us uncomfortable and hesitant to spend much time inside. Perhaps the most egregious aspect of the experience was the exorbitant pricing. The fees for games, activities, and even refreshments were significantly higher than comparable establishments in the area. The value for money was severely lacking, making the entire visit feel like an exploitative commercial venture rather than a customer-centric entertainment destination. Ultimately, our time at iplay left us feeling disheartened and disillusioned. The lackluster ambiance, unprofessional staff, poorly maintained equipment, and steep prices all contributed to an overall negative experience. Regrettably, I cannot recommend iplay to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable recreational outing. In conclusion, my visit to iplay was marked by disappointment and frustration, and I believe there are far better alternatives in the market that offer a more satisfying and customer-oriented experience.

I’m not usually one to put a bad review publicly, but if I could give it zero stars I would. I came to the venue (17/05/22) to have my card reissued, as I left it at home. Got it reissued, and then when I went to check my card I saw it had $0.20 and 12 tickets, which was rather confusing. The last time I used the card I had over 5,000 tickets, which was around 2 months ago. I asked the lady at the counter why my balance was like that, she said maybe it hasn’t transferred over yet and to come back in 10 minutes to see if it loaded to which I waited. 10 minutes has passed and it was still the same balance. The lady then asked who I believe was the manager on duty to look into it. He then shows me my card history, asking if I came in on any of those dates or redeemed any of those prizes to which I said no. I asked what more he could do if my card happened to be stolen and wasn’t at home. He said there’s nothing he could do, so I asked if it was possible it could have been a human error on their part, to which he said confidently no that wouldn’t have happened. So obviously I was stressed thinking all of my hard work earning those tickets went to waste, so I started crying, overcome with emotions in front of the manager and another team member, the team member saw me crying and then proceeded to laugh at me crying, which made me feel stupid for even crying. So obviously, I left the venue feeling upset that all the money I spent earning those tickets went to waste. Fast forward to when I went home, I went to go find my iplay card and, low and behold, I still did have it. I went to check and register my card to the same account as the card they reissued me. Turns out they have issued a random person's card to my account. I’m happy at the fact I didn’t end up losing the tickets that I saved for the past 10 months. What makes me mad and disappointed with my experience is the fact that I left that venue humiliated and they told me CONFIDENTLY that it COULDN’T EVER be a “HUMAN ERROR” on their part.

Overall okay experience. As a lover of arcades, my group and I were drawn in by their school holiday load/ ticket promo which is honestly a good deal. The selection of games were good and enjoyable but a few machines were out of order or having issues which pretty standard for arcades. However, customer service could definitely be improved. We won two good prizes (funko pop and Plushie) from a claw machine and they were stolen while we playing a game. After realising the prizes were gone, my group and I spent about 10 minutes double checking the area and searching the arcade. It was only after searching did we seek help from staff. It was moderately busy and we didn’t want to waste their time. We first asked if anyone had handed in the prizes and after being suggested to search the arcade (which we did…again) we asked for help a second time, both times met with indifference. It was already upsetting being stolen from but lack of support made it worse. While two of the staff I interacted with were cordial, I felt there truly was a lack of effort. I understand that theft is not the fault of staff which I even mentioned to them and in no way blamed them. I feel after spending a decent amount of money at an establishment we should at least be able to expect some kind of genuine support or care… not just be dismissed. Our issue was kind of solved but only after standing around for 15 minutes then personally having to seek out the supervisor who turns out had already seen and walked past me several times. I don’t know if this was a lack of communication and they weren’t told I was the one needing help or just lack of care. I’m really hoping that maybe the staff were just having a bad day and that this was a one-off thing. It’s a decent arcade but the experience of being stolen from and then being dismissed has left a bitter taste in my mouth so gunna have to give it a miss next time.

Arcade games brings back a lot of memories especially if you went to high school in the 90’s. iPlay is a wonder and fun place to hang out with family and friends. It’s an great entertainment activity not only for kids but for adults also. There’s so many different types of games ranging from collecting tickets, sports, action, racing, 4D, pool table, air hokey, and soft toy grabbing. All games are child friendly and you won’t find street fight or mortal kombat type games. On a separate side of the room you have a few lanes of bowling and a bar. To play games you need to buy an iplay members card which costs $20 preloaded with credits. Each game cost minimum $2.20, so you can imagine how quickly you’ll run out before going back and topping up. I suggest if you go regularly top up maximum and get the free bonus credits. What you need to know: 1. yellow tap is non tickets and red is for ticket games. 2. When playing ticket games, you won’t be getting the printed copy that you get from Timezone, the tickets are acclimated electronically and is recognised on the tap when you start a game. ED has terrible mobile signal, in fact once inside iplay there is no signal. Luckily you can join ED’s free wifi. Overall, I’ll be going there occasionally with my son as he loves the racing cars!

Used the NSW $25 Discover voucher and ended up getting quite a bit of credit to use for a fun night out. They end on the 30th of June (service nsw app to get them) Staff were lovely and gave us one free game and the atmosphere was lively.Plenty of games for younger kids and teenagers and there's a seperate side for bowling with a bar. The eat street outside had a good variety of food and there's lots of parking in the carpark.l wish the council would make queen street campbelltown similar and invite some professional business to attract people to the area as it it quite dead and outdated.

I took my family here over the weekend and I honestly am so happy I did! Great arcade games for the kids to enjoy! And they serve great cocktails too ! However, I’d like to make a comment on your customer service. I have been around plenty of rude people in my life & your team unfortunately happens to have a few of them. My Family and I have never been to bowling and needed some assistance, instead of helping out they stood there and laughed at us. Luckily enough, we were assisted and taken good care of from one of the Ladies, her name is Lina . She made our night a bit better. She was very polite and helpful. I hope you learn to hire more people like Lina in future ! A few of your staff definitely need some training for customer service LOL. Overall I’m very happy with this place !!!

Incredible space to hold a kids birthday party! We choose the 3hr package from 5:30pm to 8:30pm but ended up leaving at 9:45pm (thanks to the 2hrs of unlimited red & yellow arcade games - was meant to be 1hr only so, definitely value for money!!). And the Hyper bowling kept the kids well entertained. Venue is spacious, clean and includes an onsite bar - happy days for adults. BYO food from Eat Street below is welcomed. Friendly staff, especially our host Les, who was super professional and accommodated to my every requests! Thanks Les and iPlay for making my sons birthday the best one yet! Tip: Reserve the area near the bar (in lieu of the private room) as it’s privately sectioned off and remains your area for the whole duration of your party.

We had our daughters 10th birthday there on the weekend. Booked in from 530pm-730pm. Paid $240. When we got there we were told we couldn’t have the party room until 630pm. I told them what do I do with the cake and decorations and the guests? She said they could wait by the bar until 630 but from 530-6300pm the kids would be playing in the arcade and the adults would have to wait by the bar with presents, cakes, decorations and all until 630pm... it doesn’t make sense to me to do that for a birthday party that was booked in for two hours. The kids also complained that the nuggets were a little peppery. Just be wary when booking in for a bday party you won’t have the room until the last hour...

The overall experience was good, but the obvious lack of maintenance on the machines really shows. a claw machine towards the front, you release the button for the claw, and it keeps going (sticky button). The 1 and only pinball machine in the centre has a sticky right flipper, making it frustrating and impossible to play. So, to take out my frustration over to the Axe machine, only to find the conveyor belt is sticky and doesnt release the axes properly... For the price youy are charging people, you most certainly can afford maintenance of the machines, GET THEM FIXED!!! Lack of staff was another issue, the main desk empty quite regular, but overall had an alright time.

Every time I have come here I have had a bad experience and the last time was it for me. Cancelled our bowling booking without notifying, forgot to make our drinks at the bar. Not even going to blame the staff here, they look under staffed, over worked and tired/angry. It’s a great facility and idea, but whoever is the manager and in charge of rostering hiring and training, you are doing a very poor job. If you’re going to offer bar service, leave someone qualified there that does the bar and bar only! Put 1 or 2 more qualified staff on to help out these guys, they look stressed every time I come in. As I said, a great facility but poor management and service.

I am absolutely disappointed with this arcade. As a frequent arcade visitor, this was a terrible experience, especially when i went up to the counter to redeem my tickets for items. When i went to get an item, it was labelled to cost 800 tickets, but when I took it over to the counter, the staff member said it costed 1100. To top it up, staff members were too distraced from other things, when they should actually pay attention to customers trying to redeem their tickets for their items. This is a very stingy arcade with horrible custoner service, I’m not coming to such an arcade again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Firstly the booking I made was not acknowledged. Myself and four friends were told that a phone booking cannot be made without 6 people (odd policy but true). This then meant that our booking was no only invalid the manager seemed to think this was our fault and there was nothing she could do about it. We were told that there was other bookings that night and that we needed to leave. The manager laughed when we asked for compensation, which we believed we were entitled to. The staff are rude undertrained and do not have any customer service skills.

This place was a blast! Had the best time with my mates, I talked to one of the new staff and she was super duper friendly in telling me how the games work and telling me directions of where everything was! She was very organised! However...I may have left with PTSD seeing the women bust it down real hard on the bowling alley. It cracked me up a bit but I honestly felt bad! Anyway, If I could rate this place 10 stars I honestly would, the games are so fun and the NBA game is my favourite! Would come again! Love you guys xoxo

There were too many machines broken on the night that I went in, so many games showing out of order signs even though I visited 2 weeks apart. Staff didn't want to be very accommodating, I spent $200 on credits and they weren't willing to split that amongst 4 different cards and said I could only leave it on 1. When asked if I could get a refund and purchase separately they said no. This is probably one of the more expensive arcades Ive been to as well, the ticket per $ ratio is terrible

If I could give a lower rating I would, went on a Wednesday night the place was busy which is always good to see but that's where it ended. 2 out of the 4 basketball games not working, the knock down the clownalso not working and a host of other games broken or missing balls etc. I am a frequent visitor to Timezone and I was really looking forward to trying this place out, I'm a really disappointed by the game play, the state of the machines and the over all feel. I sadly wont be back.

The bowling lane we were on wasn't working properly. It didn't register our bowls and kept randomly giving us anywhere between 2 to 3 turns per turn. When we told the staff they just said what's the problem when we are getting extra turns? It was no fun just a big joke seeing which one of us would get the most extra turns. Now when we go bowling we like to let our hair down but you still need that bit of competition that just wasn't there.

There was a time when an afternoon out at IPlay Ed was great entertainment, however these last few visits have been very disappointing. There are MANY games that do not work, and sadly the few games that do, always have someone on them. So unfortunately your only option is to wait your 'playtime' away. It's been this way for a while now, so I'm sad to say that this place is no longer as 'amazing' as it initially was.

Decent hang out spot. Not a huge selection of food/drinks available unfortunately but there are a good variety of games and they're well spaced out so social distancing happens naturally. I didn't like the claw machines though. The toys inside are really cute but the machines are hard and rarely pick up toys so if you have kids that like soft toys, watch out because the money you put on the card can go in minutes...

We had a 10 year old birthday party held at iplay where our party supervisor Briyahn accomodated us with an awesome party area, treated our little birthday man with lots of spoils and we had 2 hours of arcade and bowling while she catered to the arrangements of food for the kids. Bowling, Arcade, a bar, iPlay has the lot! Simple service that's quick and easy gets you playing in no time at all. QR codes are provided for ordering from the menu whilst remaining in your seat, which is becoming a common modern day practice - and it's convenient! It's always clean and tidy and feels fresh, and seemingly no lacking in staff numbers as there's always someone walking around.

Coming from someone who has worked in the entertainment industry, team need to learn how to be sensitive to guests and to do their very best to help guests when mistakes have been made, not to be dismissive and blatantly rude! Very disappointed with the service and work ethic at a place that is supposed to promote fun, especially from the ‘manager’ allowing team to humiliate guests.

The bowling alley staff lost our booking, then said if the next people come we couldn't take the next spot. We then asked for a credit (as there was 5 of us). We have children and work commitments. No credit or care whatsoever. Our entire night was ruined and the staff laughed at us. Completely rude, they were about to call Security. Terrible customer service. Never going back

It’s not from a lack of effort from the staff as they’ve been good in my experiences but there is an obvious shortage of staff, and it shows especially in peak hour times that customers are waiting unattended for some time. Arcade games are fun & usually isn’t too crowded which is great, the bowling lanes are also handy to have onsite & is great for some family fun.

We recently had our sons 4th birthday at IPLAY bowling and arcade party. I dealt with Briyahn from the start she was amazing with her customer service and she accommodated to every request and change we had. Everything was great on the night, party room was good and the food was great. Staff were helpful all night and most importantly our son had the best time.

I cannot thank Bri enough! She managed to fit my son's birthday party in with 24 hours notice after we had to cancel his outdoor party due to inclement weather. Honestly would be great and well worth the $90 70mins pass if the machines and games were kept in working order. Many, if not majority, of the games were Out of Order, misconfigured, or simply totally unresponsive to use. Again, really great idea and could be hours of fun for kids, both young and old, but keep the machine and games working...

Excellent venue - but not enough staff!! Went there Sunday 27/2 The Bar - the lad serving was a terrific young bloke, but he was under the pump. Won a pair of headphones and after a month of use one of the speakers and mic didn't work I took it apart and found that they have been used/fixed and not brand new. The wiring has previously been broken and sticky taped. Shameful act from the business or one of their staff.

Tried ringing to book in for bowling, got told no bookings and just walk in. Walked in, and got told we only take bookings, and that they were fully booked for the night. Games are expensive, alot of them need maintenance and place needs to be cleaned more often.

A lot of the games in the arcade were broken or missing parts. For example hoops game had no balls and the air hockey table had no puck. Bowling was okay. The service overall was pretty slow. I probably wouldn't go back.

This place has everything. Minecraft, dancing, basketball, bowling and bar. Good, fast, and friendly service. Most of the games work unlike some other places which means less tantrums. That hungry hippos game is awesome

Do not bother on the weekends. They have hardly any staff working and so many of the games are either out of order or they have issues. Impossible to find anyone to let them know and when you do they don't do anything.

Good place for your kid's birthday party. Unlimited arcade and bowling. Party room is big with fridge and oven. You can being your own food from outside which is a big plus. Little crowded in peak hours though.
