I rented a storage unit from this facility from September 2019 to June 1, 2020. Upon arrival, the security gate was not functional, and I was assured that it would be fixed shortly. Over the next few months, I returned to the facility occasionally to retrieve or place items, and noted that the gate was still inoperative. It was not fixed until approximately halfway during my stay. Obviously, I cannot pinpoint the exact time because of my occasional visits to the facility, but it was not fixed until 2020. Upon moving out, I was assured by the property manager that there was no additional paperwork that needed to be filled out. However, I was charged two separate times for rental after that conversation. On July 27, I sent an email detailing the incorrect charges and requesting resolution. The property manager replied the next day and assured me that the charges would be reversed. I followed up with a phone call on the 30th and was informed that the reversal had to go through his district manager, and that this process would take 3-5 business days. As of 8/12, the monies had still not been refunded, so I again emailed to demand my money, and requested the email address of the district manager to follow up. As of 8/20, I still do not have that email address, but my money was finally refunded. Take care in dealing with these folks, because it is apparent that they will be deceptive in order to get your money to begin with, and then try to keep what does not belong to them.

Wonderful experience, all around. Especially for renting something as simple as a storage unit. Mike Hamilton was super helpful and beyond accommodating. His personality was one of the main reasons we choose to keep our belongings there- and the unbeatable prices- and how safe we felt- and the cleanliness! Zero sales pressure from him, glad to show us different options, then back to options we had already seen, then wrote down all of the options so we could think about it overnight... ((LOL!!)) *We can be very indecisive!* :) The front office was very clean, smelled fresh (even the bathroom- which is inside the not-so-gigantic office, so one could imagine it may not smell pleasant, but the opposite is true!) Masks were worn and there is a huge bottle of hand sanitizer on a filing cabinet that was in front of each of the two desks in the office. The cabinet seemed out of place at first glance, but I soon realized it was so one did not have to get close to the employee's personal space/desk and could stay at a safe distance. Also used the top of the cabinet to put my paperwork when signing and such. Was a very nice touch that I have not come across in any office (or other) setting during these uncertain times! Michael is the store manager. He is absolutely wonderful and so incredibly accommodating. He has gone 1000% out of his way to help me with my storage needs during my move. I even came to him wanting to go to a place that had climate controlled units, and even in conversations about a unit with another company he helped me chew through my decision. I wanted to go to Extra Space Storage, and even reserved a unit with them. When I called for set up they had trouble finding my reservation. They didn't want to honor the rate I had in my confirmation email. They said that the online rate and first month free were not able to be combined, even though I had it in the email. I was advised to bring the email in and basically fight about it, so I called Michael back at iStorage. He was able to pull all my original information up, keep my previously discussed rate, and even offered to stay a few minutes late ON A SATURDAY!! So I could have enough time to travel from South FL and get the paperwork signed to move in Sunday(when they are closed). My experience at THIS iStorage location far surpasses any and all of my previous experiences dealing with any storage unit facility. Not only do they provide the absolute best prices for comparable size storage units in the area, but Shana Wilkinson and Andres Morales have gone above and beyond any reasonable expectation of remedying issues concerning customer satisfaction. To keep a long story short I will say this: When I first moved into my unit it appeared that everything was in perfect working order. Then after moving my things into my unit for storage, I realized that things were not in perfect working order. But without any hassle or argument, and like magic, my complaints were IMMEDIATELY remedied. I am 100% satisfied, and I give each of the above named staff members points for extra credit. Totaling 110% for each of them.

Garcia was EXTREMELY helpful. I came in almost at 6:00 (closing time) late from work, and instead of telling me they are closed, he greeted me with a smile and told me he would help me any way he can. After 30 minutes of me looking for my license and trying to find my money, he still waited patiently and helped me get my unit that I needed. It was raining and miserable outside and I never thought after a hard long day that I’d actually leave this place in a better mood than I arrived. I will DEFINITELY let anyone I know to come see him and him only. Great guy, great attitude, great service and made ME have a great day. Working with a couple of the staff, Shannon and Adreas, in particular Shannon, at Istorage has changed my views of this facility. I only would have hoped they were there through my seven years stay. She had been very supportive, helpful, caring, thoughtful, and on point with following through with all challenging task that was put before her. I've seen firsthand how she has gone completely out of her way to help and satisfy the customers. She also has been very thorough and professional. I truly appreciate all she had done for me in my last days before leaving. I highly recommend working with her if you decide to use the facility. Thank you very much.

Danielle & Kevin are exceptional in customer service. They helped me navigate the storage rental process with professionalism and courtesy from the moment I stepped into the convenient Mandarin iStorage Self Storage office. I was pleased to see the units were very clean, spacious & secure. The layout of the facility enables us to quickly get in and out as we prepare to relocate. My disabled sister subsequently rented her own unit after I raved about the facility, location, great customer service and easy accessibility for her ECV scooter. I love the way Mike the manager always treats me like a friend. He’s never been anything but helpful and nice in my interactions with him. My only complaint is the price increase for your already loyal customers with multiple units when you are offering lower monthly rates to brand new customers. That seems disloyal on the company side and makes me want to search for an alternative solution to my storage needs. Also most of the units I’ve had have old gears on the doors and it’s difficult or impossible for me to even open them alone. That’s a hassle and not convenient.

Ok so let’s face it no one really likes having to hunt for a decent storage facility. Most are over priced. Charge more based on location etc etc. I will say this is positively the best storage facility I’ve ever used. The manager interrupted their lunch to help me (had no idea it was lunch time) one of the other managers helped me lift some really heavy boxes. They have been so accommodating so helpful and completely amazing! If you’re looking for more than just an ok place to store your belongings this is the place to go

I stored a car in their facility for 19 years. Diane the manager was excellent in regards to any questions I had with troubles paying the monthly storage fee. The service was out of this world for customer service and treated me like a human being and not just a number. New to the area, I needed storage SUPER fast. A quick search led me to istorage. I called and Shana made the process easy. Literal 10 minutes on the phone and I was done. She went above and beyond to help me. When I asked if locks were available to purchase, she said yes and added the cost to my invoice, then left it for me inside the storage locker. Practically impossible to reach management, voicemail always full, they raise rates at every opportunity, been a customer for about 10 years and all they seem to want to do is to continue to raise rates. One of my units was broken into with no responsibility from management. As well, my unit flooded with no responsibility from management. I am elderly and having trouble finding help to empty my units but I will as soon as I can!

Have had two large units here for over a year. Units are relatively clean and no bugs. I have sprayed to make sure but had no problems. Was previously at Public Storage where there were mice and bugs so I had to empty and clean everything before moving here. There is a huge difference in management and Istorage is lower cost. I have a smaller unit now and am pleased with the service and response at the San Jose location.

Great service, they were quick and very helpful as well as respectful. Kept the place cold so that’s a + being that it’s so hot outside! Got a free lock had a coupon of course BUT WHO DOESNT LOVE FREE THINGS if you’re looking for a great place to store your things come to IStorage!! Cameras everywhere, they also patrol ever day to make sure your things aren’t messed with! Huge thumbs up

Mike provided absolutely excellent customer service and promptly provided me with a storage unit that fit my needs. Very pleasant experience and convenient storage set up, drive right up to your unit, controlled gated access for after hours. Their rate was definitely the lowest among other storage facilities in the area even with taxes+insurance. Highly satisfied with Mike and iStorage.

Garcia assisted me on a rainy Saturday. He was kind, corteous, and professional. While we were doing the paperwork, the phone rang several times and another customer walked in. All the while he remained professional with everyone. The Saturday prior Michael showed me the unit I was interested in and advised of pricing and processes. I am very pleased with my interactions with the team.

A fast and pleasant experience with the new online service they are using. Very straight forward process. It took me less than 10 mins to get everything squared away and signed electronically from the email you will receive. When you get to the location if you have questions, Michael is a great guy and very professional. Hard to beat the price too! Easy 5 stars

The staff, Mike and Jamiesha, were very helpful in answering any questions that I had. Mike graciously showed me the difference in unit sizes and gave suggestions for getting the most storage space from the unit that I selected. Jamiesha helped me resolve a billing problem. They have ample room to maneuver a pickup truck and trailer in and out of the facility.

The service was great I went in to get a unit and Wayneshia helped me she was amazing she was very detailed and friendly. She assisted me with moving supplies box's tape and things of that nature so that I could get started although I didn't secure a unit yet but I will be renting one from Wayneshia very soon. Outstanding service and customer support! I rented a small unit for a couple of months last year. Both at check-in and checkout times, the manager was courteous and answered all of my questions. Units are clean, the place is easily accessible, and there is enough space in front of the unit to park a truck. I highly recommend this self-storage business.

The site managers here have all been pretty good, but the current manager, Shana, is great. We're in the process of moving into a new-to-us home, so we had to move up in unit sizes, and number of units, and Shana has been very helpful and patient with our changes. We've used storage facilities in the past, but these are some good folks to deal with.

Just want we have been looking for. A place that offers storage for both trailers & and drive up storage. Just when I thought customer service was gone I met Michael. I was a renter here. Management was great friendly if they were out on the golf cart ridding around they Always said hello. My Storage got stuck once. I went to office and they immediately came to help me get it open. They Always worked with you if you needed something. It was very nice there.

I chose this place over a climate controlled unit because the access is so much easier and I'm not storing stuff that will get ruined. Mike was friendly and helpful in getting me set up and let me know he was available for questions or accessories like a broom or step ladder.

I had an amazing experience at this particular storage unit. I had been to many before to get an estimate on a 5 by 10 unit, this one was by far the best offer and Shana was very helpful in answering all my questions. I will definitely be coming back. 10/10 highly recommend.

Janice and Lola were great to work with. The storage facilities are clean and well maintained and the pricing is the best in the area. I really like the fact that all of the units are drive up accessible with the roll up doors outside for convenience. Highly recommend.

A word of caution on the cheaper rates... we moved into a unit and two months later they did a "periodic review" and raised our rate by ~40 percent. Who does that? Yes the location is clean and we are still getting a market comparable rate but that is a bit scammy.

This storage facility is very clean and taken care of. I was amazed at how easy it was to computer my whole lease process online. I met the Manager on my first visit and she is very nice. This is a very nice location and conveniently very close to where I live.

First month was free and prices were low. I needed to park my old car here to clear up space in my garage. Because of the pandemic, I was able to start and end my contract with Mike over the phone. I would definitely use this location for future needs.

Be careful of what you trust on their property they have terrible security a non working gate and when you have your property stolen they don't seem to care and have still not replaced my friends $900 generator. Don't be the next victim.
