Purchase was fine, bought a Ford Focus, 51k miles on the clock and worked fine. Purchased and money out on the day of the 19th. Dissapointed with the customer service as upon an issue occuring on the 19th of September with the car, and the gentleman on the phone only assured me that the warrenty only covered very specific things and that none of the issues i had were covered by it, with very little else to say. Mostly dissapointed with the post-purchase customer service, and would advise to througholy check any purchased vechial before hand, as issue i suffered were from a faulty auxillary fan belt (this was the offending problem on the 19th that had sheered apart), an off connected coolant pipe and a flat battery due to the alternater not being properly pulled by the belt. As the dealership stated that some of their cars come from a local Ford hire place, this could have been an unnoticed issue from either area before being sold onto me. As said, its certainly worth getting any vehcial it looked over first. On the bright side, i now know a lot more about the internal workings of the car i bought than id expected to ever know.

In response to the recent comment from upminster car sales. They were selling a car that i liked the look of after purchasing it at the price of 1495 after a week upon on inspection of a credited mechanic found out thatto putit all right would of cost £700 which would of bought the total to over 2 grand upminster cars was selling a car that was not fit to be sold in the state it was and therefore should have been checked over and repaired before being sold. I tried to get a refund for the amount i have spent out and not intrested in doing so. I am now seeking legal help to hopefully get a part refund of at least £500. As i feel the whole sinareo has not been delt with in a more professional matter by the above name.

My car has now broken down again an d I have tried chase upthe paperwork I was told someone would call me back but never did, I called the following day to be told they don't have a copy, the garage is no longer trading and everything is blamed on Covid - Typical-all nice and friendly whilst your giving th em money but useless at assisting customers after sale Will not be recommending

The question is why did they have a car that was unfit for selling not checked over thoroughly and the work wouldnt of been up to my high standards. I am seeking help from trading standards on the 1979 trading stanards act which says that ANY secondhand goods sold through a trader should NOT have any faults. The consumer is well within their right to ask for compensation towards expenses to get the goods fix. If upminster car sales can offer me a £800 compensation. then i will drop this case.

The younger guy was rude and started arguing and swearing then says that we weren't being honest with him when they weren't honest at the beginning as we were lied to about a service and petrol. Wasn't willing to listen and says we trying to fob him of . Then later that day they ring back say the argument shouldn't if happened and suggest we take it to their garage. Their post customer service is a joke

Really disappointed as I have brought cars from here previously and it was a very pleasant car buying experience. But I recommended to a friend and it was awful after sales service. They sold a dud car. It was great when first purchased but after week 2, nothing but problems. A third party garage organised by the dealership, looked at it multiple times said there was nothing wrong, cleaned things and told us to come back, which we did more than once. Then it was out of warranty and all the issues came to light when we took it somewhere else for a second opinion. The car had so many issues that the garage were clearly covering up. Do not recommend.

Total sham, bought a car for £1495 that lasted less then 2 months before getting condemned by a mechanic, within a week it had a leak from the power steering after that it was problem after problem, disintegrated belts and the timing belt too till the mechanic refused for me to put any more money in to it and condemned the vehicle. I made several calls to the sales team to see if they could help me at all, I was never able to get through to the man who sold it to me, instead it was a younger cocky man who answer to me was, what do you expect for £1495.....!

Very pleasant car buying experience. Not too great after sales service. Wasn't expecting miracles but some degree of help sorting out some paperwork relating to work carried out (admittedly by a third party garage but still organised by the dealership) under warranty should not be too pressing I wouldn't have thought. Was initially very happy with the level of service and the no quibble approach when dealing with the work carried out under warranty. Less impressed now though hence the lower rating.

bought a car here and it started to stutter.. they took it back and fitted a water pump.. said they would do that as good will gesture but things go wrong with cars and pretty much dont come back.. it started to fail again with lights coming on and warning of engine fault.. i took it and they passed me on to a garage who couldnt fix it.. i purchased a car here as i thought they would look after their customers but now i know otherwise

Bought a 2008 Ford smax just over a year ago from here. I absolutely love my car: no problems at all. Been through another MOT with flying colours. The team at Upminster motors couldn't have been more accommodating. They let me view twice while I took over a week to decide. All very patient with no pressure. My mum has since bought her own runaround car from there as well! I'd be happy to recommend based on my experience.

Bought a Fiat 500 pop from this company and it was excellent service, very very happy. Gary was very helpful and reassuring as this was my first time buying a car. I had a small problem with one of my exterior lights and I took it to my local garage where they fixed the problem and Gary kindly paid for the repair. Would highly recommend. Brilliant service

Bought an automatic ford focus from this dealership recently (August 2020). Had a years MOT and was in good condition as the photos suggested. They were really transparent and helpful. Had no issues whatsoever, let us take the car for a spin first unoccupied. Would happily buy from them again, great price, generally really happy with the experience.

Purchased a Fiesta for decent money. Headlights turned out to be totally different (we hadn't noticed), fan doesn't work so overheated, fuses for things were blown (12v power and rear wiper), battery wasn't even secured/connection properly so car cut out/stalled, water pump knackered so have had to replace with timing belt.

After a lengthily conversation over the phone while a walk round of the car was being carried out asking of all the imperfections on the bodywork before travelling for an hour I arrived to find the vehicle to be in a far worse state. Wasted over two hours of my day and £20 in fuel! Not impresssed........Avoid!

Bought a Renault Clio and I cannot recommend Gary enough. My car was not ULEZ compliant so I had to get a new one and Gary waited patiently while I sold my car, holding the new one for me. They even gave me a full tank of fuel! I cant thank them enough! Hopefully the car is as good as their service.
