The Reason, Private Hospitals in Lahore are robbing citizens, no quality control checks on Hospitals. They charge patients as they dictate but don’t feel shame in providing services. My daughter was admitted in Surgimed Hospital Lahore. We were astonished to learn, hospital staff asked advance money only in cash , no bank cards, imagine, your patient is crying in pain you are searching for ATMs, where is FBR, we paid lacs but in cash they openly say if we take by card we have to pay tax. Let’s put aside staff behaviour and professionalism, let’s see hospital conditions I wonder they have not seen hospitals or their aims is grabbing money only. , their operation room & recovery room in worst condition, before operation they asked for worthy 30 thousands medicines. We took “Execute room, room conditions worst, even no soap / paper in the bathroom. I complained at the counter, person said talk to administrator in the morning. So commercialised, staff asked the patient, “ provide me surgical gloves so that I can examine you “ what should I write after that. So disappointed and disgusted. I lived 30 years in Saudi Arabia have seen govt & private hospitals, have never seen “control-less hospital”, money hungry, shameful services in return. One thing for sure, Allah sees everything, They have to pay one day.

“Poor Service” Giving 1 star only because a grade lower than this does not exist. My dad was recently admitted to surgimed hospital with a diagnosis of intestinal obstruction confirmed on CT scan and what seemed to be the bread and butter of general surgery turned out to be the most horrible experience of my life. My dad suffered at the hands of this hospital’s highly unprofessional, arrogant and poorly trained staff for 36 hrs before he passed away. I could not believe that their 8 bedded ICU was run without a consultant trained in Intensive care. Basic tasks such as IV fluid and blood sugar management in post op patients seemed to be beyond the scope of their clinical skills. Nurses in ICU were utterly rude and failed to show empathy towards my dad or any of his attendants. Being a doctor myself what i witnessed in this hospital was really an eye opener and forced me to write this review. I must admit that it was a shocking experience and I would never recommend this hospital to anyone.

Very bad experience. Highly disappointed. Wish I could give star that rate in negative. Went 2 days ago to get checkup of my brother from Dr Amir Aziz. No doubt that he himself was very nice and professional but the management of hospital was very disappointing. To get an x-ray done we were to wait for about an hour and after the x-ray was done they asked to pay for x-ray and then we will give you the film(they could have asked all this before the x-ray). No one was available at reception of radiology counter. And when came for dressing in OT we were to wait there for about 45 mins and they didn't guide us about any payment or anything and when dressing was done and we were about to leave they asked"sir is ki payment counter py kr k aayen phr patient bahir aaye gy" Like seriously, we were standing outside the operation theatre from last one hour and they didn't tell us about this payment. Even the management of Government hospitals is much better than this.

A total failure from top management to lower level everyone is looking for some opportunity to play with misery of suffering people.My dear one lost her life due to grave negligence of medical staff who didn’t properly took vitals or care of a patient who just went through craniotomy(brain surgery) just because it was Sunday.Blood Cross Match duty guy didn’t bother to inform in time even after two hours of sample given,you have to run & push for your pain..From cleaners to Operation Theatre staff & ICU workers everyone demands money & if you don’t pay them they misbehave. Expensive hospital,expensive procedures,heavily charged surgeries with bulk of medication but end result is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT that can be called God’s will but moral conduct of this whole hospital is questionable. All transactions are cash here in this age and time, you all know why, TAX EVASION, of course. Credit Cards not acceptable. The patient and the attendant is made a slave here. Walk to Meezan Bank ATM to draw cash, in 44 degrees C. Amazing how the country is being operated, and abused, from government down to small institutions. Pakistan has been made into a carrion with vultures all around. The executive rooms are premium rooms, and one ends up paying the same room rent one would pay for a room in, say, Residency, which is an excellent hotel. When my mother was shifted to one such room from emergency, the bathroom sink had a sliver of yellow soap (seen at the right of the faucet), passed on from patient to patient to patient. I purchased a new cake of soap, white one on the left. Kudos to management.

Upon entering the hospital while I was dragging wheelchair of my mom, a gutter was leaking and we had to drag our wheelchair above it 6- Dark and shady interior due to less lighting 7- Bring your own wheelchair because theirs are malfunctioning and rusty 8- Non-covered praying area for women and it was dirty

This hospital is one of the biggest disappointments in Pakistan. Ghurki didn't have a room so we were sent to Surgimed. The surgery hasn't happened yet but judging by the condition of this place, I'm very terrified for my mother. The patient bed has no bed sheets, a single thin pillow and no blanket (even though we asked for them). The bathroom has no soap or toilet roll. The furniture is dusty, old and chipped off. We wouldn't complain about any of this if they hadn't charged the absurd amount they do (that too, only in cash!). On what planet is this an executive room?. Thankfully, Dr. Amer Aziz is a competent doctor and a nice human being or else I wouldn't have stayed here for another second. Allah jald az jald Yahan say nikaalay hamain. This seems like a scam.

Highly DISAPPOINTED after had a worse experience of choosing this hospital for the birth of my baby. Totally non professional approach towards the services. It's 2021 and yet This TAX chor hospital is not taking money by card how it's possible. We only deal in cash they said. They only charge high prices but the services are 3rd class. Poor condition of labor room,operation theater, waiting area everything is below standard. They didn't even give a break up of the huge amount we paid. They can't even give a proper reasonable or presentable birth certificate just handed over a poor paper parchi. Govt body must take action against them or they are giving bribe to officials for not taking any notice of what they are doing. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

My request to surgimed hospital is that Dr, khalid mahmood 's attitude to the patient is very rude and pathetic, he don't care of his patient after operation which is very unprofessional. Receptionists and pharmacy staff in particular were extremely rude and ill mannered. Every time you go there, they were extremely annoyed to answer anything. Even today when I called in the hospital to ask for the report, receptionist was annoyed and replied very rudely. Regarding the doctor, I wouldn't blame her but her PA messed up several times, first she did not inform us the protocol before the surgery and the doctor was not even aware of our appointment which we found out from the doctor on the last day and had to cancel our appointment for a later date. Then she gave us incorrect fee which we had to argue with the receptionist. We were not compensated for this inconvenience and had to pay more.

I was contemplating bringing my wife here for urgent medical treatment, but having read the reviews , unfortunately I have decided to seek help elsewhere . It is important for the owners and medical teams as well as administrators, to understand that we live in a e-commerce , and instant information world . It highlights the importance of customer care and service , in today’s modern world . Where monies are charged for services rendered , in all aspects of the business . Customer “ care “ should be given the highest concern , that being in a business where “health and care “ is “the business “ . If you do not take care of your customer patients , somebody who genuinely cares “ will “.

Some issues i observed: 1. "saith saab mobarak hoy" "sada we khayal karo ji" is one of the ajeeb issue, they have whole battalion of beggars and ask for money for each step of work and if you dont give bakhshish - they will keep on standing there. itni mobarak ghar say nahy milty jitni hospital k amla day deta hay. 2. male and female patients are placed in single congested ward, they should have separate ward 3. air conditioning and outlook is poor where as charges and fees are too high as compare to facilities 4. gynae doctors are more inclined towards c-section 5. male attendants and kids were easily going in and out of labour room and no one is there to stop them.

Surgimed is one of the prestigious hospital in Lahore. Where people from posh areas visit for treatments. Surgimed has some specialities of treatments like Gynae (infertility treatment), Orthopaedics (renowned ortho surgeons available here), fully equipped lab, Radiology lab, Oncology department, Physiotherapist department etc. To facilitate patients Surgimed has fully equipped pharmacy where patients can get their required medicines without wasting time in travelling to pharmacies outside hospital. Surgimed do not have specialised Emergency department. Parking is another serious issue of Surgimed. It is very hard to find parking place for your vehicles.

A lower than 3rd class hospital. They are not concerned about the patients health, rather engage in generating more money. I had a pathetic experience. I took my spouse to Dr. Shumail Zafar, who advised an injection emphasizing and advising more on medicine than food. Then their untrained, careless nurses without any precautionary test for reaction, put the patient on drip. Unfortunately, instead of improving the health of the patient, experienced rashes and breathing problem. Later, the hesitated and unskilled staff prescribed more injections hence more money. I advise public to think before going to such hospitals.

Alert Platelets Clumping is a phenomenon nothing else. Please don't visit their hematology department if they call you like "Ohhh man you have platelets clumps and this leads towards clots and you are in danger" Actually these clumps are not in your blood these are just in the vile in which labs are collecting samples and this is not any disease. If you found low platelets with clumps you just need to ask hematologist to count your platelets manually nothing else. I'm just writing this comment because they looted a lot of money and misguided me on this. JazakAllah

hospital management and paramedical staff are very rude & aggressive . i were visit their oncology department for cancer treatment. Assistant(badar) of (doctor ALI ) very rude , ill-mannered and cheater don't trust him ever . he can charge you as much he want . and the doctor (ALi ) gave him right to charge whatever he want . he (PA) charged for chemo medicine 4 times than market price . the room of oncology department is worse than jail . they wound not provide you receipt of any paid payments .i would not recommend you to visit surgimed for cancer treatment at all ......

Having surgery in Surgimed hospital disturbed our whole family life. My father was having lower back pain. Doctor Amir Aziz suggested operation. Dr operated 2 times with one month gap, Now my father is permanently disabled from his legs. Now when we visit doctors including dr, Amir Aziz they only say it was will of Allah, now you have to live rest of your life with this permanent disability. This operation has changed our whole family life. One person have to stay with my father every time to give him assistance. Will never recommend Dr. Amir and his team.

The Doctor woke up around 7 am Security: Astagfirullah Gard at reception sleeps continuously during the night. I went out and came in multiple times but he did not wakeup. (~3:30 am). Highly disappointed I really want to give -10 but there is no any option. Visited last night to get checkup My mother from Dr. Amir Aziz he is no doubt very professional and sitting in his lavish office with full of awards on the other side the patients’ waiting area is dirty, not even dirty I found dust at the one of sofa no AC was working. The worst thing is there toilets are dirty same as Govt hospitals. Pathetic hospital in terms what they dare charging and what they are offering.

No doubt their room service is good! But what they really want is cash! They don't treat patients, they basically cash patients! In form of Blood tests , Medicines and Others . My mother who was on Deathbed and it was almost confirmed . They said blood tests of Rs 8500/- which were all in vain . So if you really want to get your patient treated well . Don't go there! They cash more then they treat!

Huge improvement is required here Staff seems careless, no proper guidance for patients. We were asked to get medicines from hospital's pharmacy. On checking we found that all the medicines are irrelevant. They were not even required in OT. On raising the question staff said they will return all the medicines. Pathetic...! For IP patient please check in the end how they make bills e.g once u admitted same day they ll charge twice consultation fee cash+post paid. 2nd darama every day they have to charge room+consultant. even consultant is absent they ll send some irrelevant doctor to make sure daily quota is acheived.

Perhaps one of the most useless and poorest private hospital in Lahore. They have aggressive staff, the nursing staff is ill-mannered and exceptionally rude. The emergency services are poor and if asked to help, they out right say that they are too busy to entertain you. I wouldn't recommend them even to my worst enemy.

Dr. Wasif Majeed Chaudary have done my laparoscopic gallbladder surgery at Surgimed. He is one if the best doctor I have seen. He is competent and a very humble person. My wounds took couple of weeks to heal and he personally changed my dressing pretty much every day. I'll highly recommend Dr. Wasif.

Very bad service.. we planned to visit Dr. Rizwan , orthopaedic surgeon. Appointment time was 3:00 PM. His PA called to arrive before 2:30 PM. We waited till 4 PM, and still doctor didn't arrive. Very unprofessional. Don't visit if you have other good choices in Lahore.

General ward inviornment is too bad. All types of patient are in one ward. Like new born baby children ward and TB patient beds are near to near. That is not good for new born baby and other patients..

Famous Pvt. hospital which is also expensive. I goes here for some tests which is almost 60-70 % much charged from any other normal laboratories/hospitals. I recommend to rich or affordable people.

Hospital was a disappointment, old building not very clean, had a chance to see a professed doctor, who was nothing more then a money making machine....
