Hotel way past its prime with a rude reception staff. While most of the staff were polite and accommodating, one reception staff was very rude. For example, when I called the reception asking about wi-fi connection not working, she asked why I needed wi-fi since I was going to be checking out in an hour anyway. After getting a few more rude comments I communicated that with her, at which point she just hung up on me. With that type of attitude, I'm not sure if she is suitable to be working in the service industry, let alone at the front desk of a reputed hotel. Bathroom ceiling was leaking. They sent the maintenance people 3 times because it kept leaking. After the third time, I stopped complaining about it. Again, other hotels would have offered a different room. But not this one. Don't take the inner rooms. The windows aren't tinted. If you open the blackout blinds, everyone in the hotel can see into your room. So, you have to keep the blinds/curtain drawn at all time. And I think they use well water. The water smells of iron and is reddish in color. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

However, the only downside was the slightly slow Wi-Fi connection in certain areas of the hotel, which could be improved. The location is great. Some staff are well-trained but some are not. There was a lady with a British English accent who served really well. Breakfast options are good. The view from the restaurant and from the pool is great. The lobby is spacious. The dinner buffet is good. The view from the room was great. However, the price commensurate with their offerings is not competitive. Also, rooms were not properly clean; there was dirt in the corners and edges. We stayed in room 803, 903, and 1019. The plumbing in the 903 washroom was not good; water spilt from several places. They need more trained dining staff. They could establish a massage chair somewhere in the lobby for the guests to enjoy.

Good place to stay. Well location & what an awesome view from the rooftop. But I have some issues with their services. Special mention to the swimming pool at roof top, there was no locker or swimming kit for rent. However, it is a great place to stay if you come to visit Sylhet.

Rooms are very standard. Paid 6k taka for 2 single bed Didnt enjoy this hotel.although the stuff were friendly. We received a few complimentry things.however the view was very decent. The price was to much. Pool is really small.Couldn't make the most of the swimming pool as it was raining .they have a gym on sight.sauna and massage also available at extra cost.

Back in 2022 when we visited Rose View, service was not up to the mark. But this time around 2023, service has improved a lot. Enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, nice breakfast buffet and so on. Also from the rooftop, I am able to see the Meghalaya Hills. That was an amazing experience.
