Stayed 2 nights and we had the best time ever. The staff were amazing the food was delicious and the pool was fabulous!! I was worried about staying alone as a single female with my young son, but staff made us feel very safe and the security here is really good. No worries at all. A very relaxing stay. We are already planning when we will come back when we return to Bangladesh. Now back to the real world unfortunately!

This was my biggest concern before I arrived. A female with a young child. But I instantly felt reassured by staff who were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The room was secure and there were no weird men lurking around! They even have a ladies only time in the pool which was great! The safety issue meant I was able to relax with no worries.

Note: My experience was bitter, don't let it impact yours. As the Operation Manager said, maybe they're improving. The flow should be simple. I pay, and I receive service. This hotel is simply overhyped, imho. It's a four-star hotel, iirc, but I received better service than this in a three-star hotel. If I compare this to my other experiences, I'd never rate this higher than 2.5 out of 5. And this is only because the Operation Manager there was really cool and professional. I stayed for three days, and the first day was pathetic. Here are some notes if you're looking for some data: 1. The room (Executive Double) is spacious enough. Maximum furniture is cool. But the mattress is pathetic. I don't know what it is called, but I call it a spring mattress. Even a staff agreed with me that it was not comfortable for sleeping. Also, the fridge was not working. 2. If you're a remote worker, it's not friendly. At least in room 504, there was no port beside the desk. Also, their internet cannot even load Google properly, so you better have mobile data. The GP was good enough for me. 3. Even though they say 24-hour service, they were unreachable at 11 p.m. Several calls were made, but they never got back to me. A few service areas improved after I complained to the Operation Manager, but it was not expected. If you're on a similar budget (like BDT 5–6K/night), I recommend looking for alternatives. But if you're there anyway, just directly reach out to someone from the management if something is wrong.

Overall " Okish" I stayed there for four nights. If your travel purpose is relaxation, you must keep in mind that the adjacent locality is 'unbelievably' chaotic. Initially, I was offered a room on the 2nd floor where the window lock was broken, and the room had a foul smell. Of course, I made the mistake of not checking the room beforehand, and the reception simply denied my request to change rooms with the excuse of no room availability. I had to inform them about my job credentials (my company has a corporate agreement with them), and only then, a room miraculously became available, and I was moved to it. It was a highly irritating experience. However, after that, my experience was overall okay. One hiccup was the room service failing to provide me with a bottle of water and sweets that I had requested at around 11 PM. After following up twice, they finally informed me at about 12:05 AM that they were unable to deliver the ordered items to my room due to a shortage of staff in the restaurant or something. The best thing about this hotel seems to be the food, which I liked very much. It appeared to be a family and kid-friendly place. The swimming pool was nice, except for the loud Hindi disco music. The rooftop view was not bad. Overall, as you have already understood, I think it's better not to expect too much. It was overall just " Okay".

No Air Conditioning: Checked in with my parents at 2pm as per policy only to find out no air vent nor any functioning air conditioning in the room. Had to complain 8 (eight) times to the front desk only to hear consoling words " wait for 20 minutes, it'll work". Later at 9pm when we confronted them asking for an immediate check-out as it was unbearable to stay, they responded with "We cannot provide guarantee for the amenities that we provide". We had to call the General Manager who shifted my parents to a different room with split aircon. Terrible customer service: Front Desk receptionists were not responding to the matters presented to them. I booked and paid for three Executive double rooms only to see myself in two Executive double rooms and one Boutique room. Later after several complaints, they changed the rooms. Bad selection of breakfast buffet: As per the adverts, we expected to find a good selection of Buffet Breakfast. There were little to no option for English breakfast with a very small-sized toaster for around 60+ people having their breakfast there. No option for Scrambled eggs were there in Egg station as well.

To stay in Sylhet and tour around, this is one of the best possible hotel. Located Just at the junction of dargah gate. The rooms and amenities are really good. All the best restaurants are minutes away. Good and secure place to be with family and groups. Though I visited the hotel several times, but this time the service downgraded a little. They added a nice Infinity pool at the rooftop. Its awesome in It's own right. They serve good food and also a lot to chose from. Above all I definitely recommend this place.

I loved this boutique hotel. It has managed to bring everything under one roof. They have a concierge, sauna, gaming room, several restaurants, seminar halls. There's a piano at the reception. Anyone can play it. The rooftop is furnished with several things: swimming pool, café, restaurants and many photography zones. The pool is beautiful. The 15th floor restaurant has great views. My room was okay. However, the AC stopped in the middle of the night for unknown reasons, probably the geyser switch was on, that's why. The best thing is their breakfast buffet. It's undoubtedly great at this price. The location is awesome, too. Sept 23: the opinion stays. AC worked until morning.

Stayed here for one night. They have an infinite pool on the roof, this was amazing to visit at night time. As a foreigner, dont be put off of wearing your swimming shorts, even though the locals normally enter fully clothed. There was even one guy in a full suit in the pool! Amazing experience. Would definitely visit again even though the rooftop swimming pool is meant for kids as the deepest part is stomach deep. The breakfast needs more options and is limited to 6 items of hot food and 3 intercontinental items. The breakfast was also bland. Food was over seasoned. We also had lunch there on our first day. It took the waiter one hour and 20 minutes to get our food ready. They offered complimentary drinks to make up for wasting our time but then had the nerve to add the drinks to our bills. Didn't eat there again for the duration of my stay with was 6 days.

Would love to give 5 stars, but there are some issues. First of all this hotel is at very good location with good value of money. Although some of their rooms are very congested. Unfortunately rooms are absolutely not sound proof. So you can hear lots of noise from the lobby. Rooms are okay for staying, was really surprised with the welcome cake. Overall room service is good. I would highly recommend their food at 15th floor restaurant. Food taste was really good, special recommendation for their beef steak. I was really surprised with its taste and most importantly they served it very fast. Although morning breakfast was average. Coffee tastes was good as was Swimming pool. Still they have the chances to improve the condition of washrooms. They are extremely old.

The hotel itself is very nice and the staff were very friendly. They literally try to help you with everything you ask for however, they take a lot of time to deliver those services. For example, after taking a dip in the pool I had to wait for 30+ mins to just get some fresh towels to shower. So that was kinda unfortunate. Moreover, the rooms didn't have any mats outside the washrooms which caused the rooms to be wet after every use of the toilets. Also, the breakfast they provide with the rooms isn't up to the mark. You expect atleast some good items in a breakfast buffet but that was just very disappointing. Other than these, it was a good stay!

I found the hotel 4-star in website but actually its hardly 3-star. The complementary buffet was 4-star and the roof top swimming pool was good (although very small) too. The rooms are below par in every aspect; decoration, bathroom, carpet etc. And the room rent is obviously relatively high considering the room ambience. There was intense smell in my room sourcing from bathroom. We were out for the whole day at different locations and returned late at night that's why could not possibly change the room. However, special thanks to the authority to provide us a room facility for resting for 1 Day after our check-out.

Disappointing in all respects. Standard of hotel is now shabby and needs investment. Room not the standard I have previously been offered. Staff generally indifferent. Main Restaurant closed for an event and I was offered meal in breakfast area. Poor menu selection and poor quality meal. Definitely NOT the quality experience I have used to over the years. Not sure what has happened ? Change in management? but will not be using Noorjahan Grand again - there are far better equally affordable options in Sylhet town which I will now prefer to use.

Excellent for backpackers! It is a great value for what you get. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable mattresses and has great AC. The breakfast buffet was delicious and all you can eat. The room service was fast and food reasonably priced, hygenic and delicious. They have a rooftop pool too! All this for 2500 for one person is a steal. I was even greeted by the owner who took the time to interact with his guests. That is customer service. The all you can eat dinner buffet was delicious and worth the money. I loved my stay here.

I really liked their pool and the buffet breakfast was very good. Their staff are also very polite and helpful. However, the hotel needs to promptly repair damage done by previous guest and clean under the bed (this area seems to be totally neglected by the cleaning staff - I noticed the thick layer of dirt and dust when my son lost his toy car under the bed, the experience was horrible, shouldn't happen in a 4 star hotel)

Nice rooftop infinity pool. Clean and good views. There is no means of ordering from the pool area and food/drinks are to be purchased by walking back down to the Antalya restaurant and cafe on the floor below. You are also told to carry drinks from restaurant/cafe back to the pool area on the above floor. Surprisingly, a female waiter did bring our drinks over to us. They don’t like taking card payments even though they have card terminal machines right in front of you. I strongly suggest that you have a wheelchair lift to the pool area as this would draw in more customers.

I booked two family rooms and stayed two days. Disappointed there is no maintenance. All over area, rooms, toilets, lift, lobby restaurant having nasty smell. Rooftop pool is their main tools to attract guest and it is not money worthy at all. We spent 30 thousand taka for two days but it seems to me below 1 star. There is no minimum maintenance. From toilet rooftop water drop was failing and their room service told stupidly that rain water coming and there is control of it. I will not recommend it for any one.

Hotel location is ok but the attitude of staffs should upgrade specially communication skills. I have found their day long tour not good in services. The driver attitudes is rough and tough. Highly recommend the suite with jacuzzi. Amazing restaurants upstairs. Personal favourite hotel. However avoid if there are any events held on the 14th floor as everyone uses the same lifts and there will be long queues going in and out. The place of the hotel is infront of the Hazrat Shahjalal mazar. So you can move easoly from any place of Sylhet city from this place. The atmosphere is good. Hotel is neat and clean but they use cassttee type AC which service is not up to the mark. The cooling system is very poor. But the rooftop of this hotel is very pleasing. On the whole we had a great time, the team at their desk are informative and friendly. The room service team are very pleasant and always eager to help. The hotel does try hard but I’d say it’s still a little rough around the edges, the highlight is definitely the pool on the 15th floor which has an amazing view.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend family get together. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Want to visit again.

Very good experience. Hotel staffs are friendly and their services are great. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. A excellent place to spend your holiday.

It is a nice place to stay while someone stays in Sylhet. The location is best because it is just at the central point and also just the most nearest to the darga gate.service was super grate but now degraded a little. Staff is great.

Great Location, Good Service, Dark suffocated Single Rooms. Buffest breakfast is Enjoyable, Rooftop Pool is amazing. Overall satisfying.

This hotel environment was so furnished and clean for family where everyone can enjoy and taken beautiful picture. Also Their room decorated was so good and relaxation. The food taste was good but little much expensive.

They have nice pool view from 15th Floor, and that’s it. Other than that, they charge 500BDT per person for public pool access, and they won’t provide towels, lockers and the worst part, the max depth of the pool is 3Ft, yes you heard me, 3Ft NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Great hotel located centrally to many store and restaurant. Really big and comfortable rooms. Amazing staff. The restaurant food is very delicious. Rooftop pool was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff at Sunshine Paradise Resort goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was friendly, accommodating, and always had a smile on their face.

Great location, breakfast had a good selection. Restaurant had good food choices. But the beds you could feel the springs hitting your back. The linens were dirty you have ask for room to be cleaned.

Very por security label anyone can enter anywhere so this is not gd for who is staying in the hotel the need to look at it otherwise everything is gd

Pretty small room size. No balcony. Air conditioning leaks water. Unresponsive front desk. Nothing pleasant except the infinity swimming pool. Not recommended

People think being famous is so glamorous, but half the time you’re in a strange hotel room living out of a suitcase.
