A fantastic company so we thought. We needed a car asap and 1st Dual/SR MANAGEMENT (unsure what they go under) was amazing from start to nearly the fiinish. Like any car it may need a service or mot or it may have an issue with the engine. Any problems, regarding the car, we was either offered another car or we could just fix it and first dual sorted the cost if any. UNTIL We bought the car back. Upon its return we inspected the car and all was fine and we was just awaiting the deposit back, then Shiraz decided to bill is for £450 for a scratch which was never there when WE both insppected it. Obviously we had a disagreement but in the end we paid the £150 he wanted on top of the deposit as we don't want to finish on bad terms. Fast forward 3 months, my car has broken down so the first people i thought of was first dual. Shiraz stated what was needed to hire the car for a few weeks. I sorted insurance and other ID. We found it difficult to find insurance on a temporary basis for a hire car, my insurance said its best to switch my insurance onto first drives car. When showing the proof i was told it needs to say the registered keeper is S R Management. So i called back the insurance to change this over (AT This point i have travelled from Wolverhampton to Leicester by train before the all clear, as I thought after a year of payments there shouldn't be much issue) I called Shiraz and had no repsone but a text to say he belives i am frauding the insurance and therefore can't trust me to purchase the car and for me to make other arrangements. You can imgine i was fuming. This man has taken 12 x 350 since feb 22 til feb 23 never had a missed payments always been honest and we had a good relationship even though the scratch which was paid for may have been an issue still. (So to call me a fraud and he is the one that has FIRST DRIVE fronting with payments going through SR MANAGEMENT) He refused to answer my call. I can only believe he was salty about the way I spoke to him regarding the first car we hired. I was left high and dry with having to cancel lessons for pupils. Everyone has there own experiences with companies and initially we had a good one but to call me a fraud, not to answer the calls when have travelled, is bang out of order. In reply.. I have not had any at fault accidents which shows you just never wanted to hire the car. Also I never lied to any insurance companies as u saw on the docs i sent. Please stop the continuous lying as its makes you look silly. What you did was bang out of order. Every reply will get a response. So please keep replying trying to cover yourself. Remember it's not the cars it's the attitude and disgusting behaviour and the not answering calls that I have issue with. Like the first review bad manners which he called us and asked us to send a review to counter the first bad review. Dont be surprised if more 5star appear after this review. Maybe add liar to that to list

After lockdown I was eager to get back to teaching my pupils how to drive and help them prepare for their tests. However, I had no car! I started scouring the internet for short-term dual control car hire, as I didn't want to take out a long-term contract in case we were put into another lockdown. I came across 1st Dual Control Car Hire, gave them a call, and asked what they could offer me. They were able to provide me with a car on a monthly rolling contract, and was given reassurance that I could hand the car back at anytime provided they were given 2 weeks notice. I took them up on their offer and was extremely satisfied with the service offered. I used them for 8 months and eventually was able to purchase my own car. During that time I had a couple of things go wrong with the car (expected really as learner cars tend to do more than average mileage and aren't always driven perfectly); however, the issues were resolved straight away and I was soon back on the road. During the 8 months I used the car I was able to successfully put over 30 pupils on the road! So just want to say a huge thank you to Dual Control Car Hire for the wonderful service! I definitely wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Certainty there’s a lot more to consider when it comes to hiring a car. It was very stressful to find the type of the car that I was looking for. After various online search I came across 1st Dual Control Car Hire company. Their response and customer support was simply outstanding. Friday afternoon my car developed a mechanical fault, found 1st Dual control car hire using Google search. Spoke to Shiraz, he had cars in stock ready to hire at a very reasonable price compared to the rest of the market. Picked the car up Saturday morning which allowed me to continue my lessons for two weeks while my car was being repaired. Had 1 pupil booked in for his driving test and he managed to pass. Shiraz was so easy to deal with via phone and WhatsApp. Will defiantly use them again when I need a short term dual control hire car.

I found sheraz from ist dual control very kind, welcoming person.i had searched around before contacting him. His lease procedure was straight, easy and economical than most of the big companies. Very easy to get hold of him 8f you have any questions or issues regarding the car. Very helpfull and friendly from 1st point of call to end. Needed an automatic car asap as my gearbox went on my car. Was able to get car the very same day. Had the car for 3 weeks whilst mines was being repaired. Rates were reasonable and car was only 1 year old and in a tidy condition. Would highly recommend 1st dual control.
