We recently adopted a 1-year old pup and brought him to a vet recommended by the shelter to find out he had 3 parasites, but weren't too keen on the experience. Someone in our apartment building recommended 4 Legged Friends and the experience could not have been more amazing. We finished up our pup's medicine from the previous vet but still felt like our boy was sick. We ended up coming to see Dr. Will for a visit and he was incredibly patient with us and took his time to answer all of our questions and concerns about our dog's health (we both had family dogs growing up but this is our first time owning a pup of our own). The staff was also very lovely and asked questions about our pup's adoption and how he was adjusting to life with us. When we first got there, we mentioned doing a potential blood test to make sure there was nothing else wrong with Spencer outside of the parasites. Right off the bat, Dr. Will recommended doing another fecal test and told us that a blood test would only return issues in the liver, kidneys, and that administering a blood test would run our vet bill up. We appreciated his honesty and recommendation rather than just taking our money and doing a test that wouldn't show us any relevant information. You can tell from the moment you walk in that the folks working at 4 Legged Friends are passionate and have a true love for animals. Dr. Will is fun and personable and he and his team will make any pet owner feel at ease with their visit.

I have an Elderly Kitty that has a few problems related to his Kidneys. He developed the problem in the last 4 years while I lived in the more expensive places in Brooklyn. I've been in and out of several Veterinarian Offices and thought that High Expenses means Quality of Care. A friend recommended Dr. Kudman to me after I complained about the high Costs. I would not normally go out of my High Priced area, but I decided to give it a try. Thank Goodness I did! Dr. Kudman treated my Kitty who was suffering from a swollen back foot. He took X-Rays and a Blood Test. I just can't believe that I got those results right away! The other, more expensive clinics I went to made me wait days before I would get the Blood Results! I can't even imagine how long I would have to wait to get the X-Ray results which Dr. Kudman gave me right away! Wow.... I didn't know what Excellent Care was until I went to Dr. Kudman's office! On top of that, his prices are very reasonable! I'm so happy I went to Dr. Kudman's office on recommendation! Now I am happy to recommend Dr. Kudman to anyone I speak to from now on! I would say if you are using a "Normally" priced Veterinarian Clinic in the "Normally" high priced areas, just go to 4 Legged Friends! You'll save more than the expense to travel to his office! Everyone else who pays a reasonable price to Care for your 4 Legged Friend, try Dr. Kudman... you won't be disappointed!

This afternoon I checked into 4 Legged friends with my Auntie and cousin's 2 cats, intend to move the 2 cats from New York to Hawaii, where my cousin have resettled. The staffs are nice & friendly, informative, provided very helpful information. The Dr. is real down to earth person, a gentleman and a scholar, a extremely kind man. what a guy. Briefly about my experience with 4 legged friends: Original As per my cousin(the owner of the 2 cats)'s request, my auntie and I were there to try have both cats vaccinated and obtain certificates, +schedule what's called a FAVN blood tests 3 weeks after the vaccine shots for the cats as part of the procedures. to move the cats to Hawaii or what not. Turns out there are more requirements needed to be done in a strict timely manner. The Dr. & staffs patiently presented print out and due diligence requirement list. About procedures, time requirements, pricing and everything. Doc. is caring enough to sensed that my auntie and I were stunned with the news we learned and needed more time to digest and discuss over with my cousin before proceeding or what not. Dr. is cool enough to offer us free of consultation fees. I really appreciate his kindness. +rep an asset to the whole community. Highly recommended.

My experiences at the clinic have been excellent. Not only are they kind and caring, they are also fair and honest. Recently I purchased through them a device to check my cat's blood/sugar levels and they had quoted me a price and then volunteered to me the information that it was in fact $100 cheaper when it was delivered. I seriously doubt other places would have been so forthright. My prior experiences with other clinic's has been that, all too often, veterinarian's tend to prey upon the love we have for our animals and put their hands deep into our pockets as the result. I've read other people's comments regarding cleanliness, first, it's a veterinary clinic, it's going to smell like animals, however, it does not smell of unsanitary conditions or appear unsanitary, to be fair, it is small. Regarding knowledge and professionalism I found all of the staff to be very knowledgeable and highly professional. I will not only continue to go there for all of my veterinary needs but I would recommend their services to others, my only reluctance in so doing would be because I wouldn't want to increase their business so much that it would cause me to have to wait to be seen!

I used to trust this doctor my 2 cats now I’m not going there even for vaccinations! One of my cats has an allergy and he didn’t see it on blood test (plus her butt was red, he didn’t know why even after he got blood results), the other one has weak immune system and that’s the reason why his gums are red (by the way I came here a year ago cause I didn’t like my cart appetite and there was a woman who checked my cat. She said he doesn’t eat well because of the redness on his gums. Hello! Don’t you feel like telling me why he has red gums! Instead she took his blood and called me in a week saying my cat is ok and she doesn’t know what happens to him). After I start reading a lot about all the symphony cats have and went to the new doctor who told me what to did in my first visit and now my cats perfectly fine. I wasted so much time going to this guy! And by the way my new doctor was very surprised when he saw my female cat blood test and when I told him Dr.Kudman didn’t see the allergy. Good luck to all of you who goes there.

I was sad when I learned that Dr. Robinson had passed away. Although his patient to doctor conversations were sometimes strained he had alot of sympathy for strays and people who had more than one animal and his prices reflected that. He understood that people loved their pets and his prices helped many to keep them healthy. I will never forget him. The new Doctor who took over his practice has upgraded the office and therefore upgraded the prices as well. No more free ear cleaning and nail clipping that Doctor Robinson did not charge for. Former patients of Doctor Robinson will be happy to know that laura is still there.She is one of the best things in the office. I took one of my cats there last year when the office was just opening. I was unable to clip her nails and they had grown so long that they were cutting into her skin.I had to make 3 visits because she needed antibiotics. I believe that I had to pay something for each visit. I dont recall the total fee charged for all of the visits. The Doctor seemed competent.

I brought my dog here a week ago because he was throwing up every other day. He still had a good appetite and acted normally.I was concerned about his throwing up so I brought him to get checked out. As soon as the doctor found out that my dog was 16/17 years old from the receptionist he did not do an exam. He just checked his heart beat and took his weight. Based on that he prescribed 3 medications and cbd oil. After giving my dog those medications and cbd oil he became lethargic, threw up, and had diarrhea. I let the doctor know and he said to schedule another appointment so we can find out what is really going on with him but testing his urine and blood. Why wasnt this done when I brought him to you the first time I wonder and I will wonder that for the rest of my life because my dog died after seeing this doctor a week later in my arms. after no examination and medications that the doctor assumed my dog needed. I will never bring another animal to this vet. please think very carefully before you do so as well.

I rescued a kitten about 3 months old with no knowledge of how to handle him being sick. I work all week so the weekends are all I have, I called in Saturday morning and despite not having available appointments, they told me I can come in before 3 to make sure my cat was okay. Dr. Kudman is very laid back, made the visit less nerve wrecking. Note to self, try not to google symptoms even if it’s for your pet. I thought my baby had cancer lmao. The staff is great. Very friendly and didn’t mind me asking 1,000 questions (first time ever going to the vet) It’s a small place, but extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, I work for Yelp (wish I didn’t at this moment ) so I can’t leave reviews on there or rate but if it were up to me I’d give them 5 stars across the board anywhere I was able to. Thanks so much guys!!!!!

Great place. Took my kitty here to get spayed due to great word of mouth from many others that have taken their pets here, also from great internet reviews. Honestly best i seen in the brooklyn area. William and his assistant Patrick are great vets. Showed love to my baby, answered all my questions and also after the surgery, answered all my emails of concerns for the incision area. They are very busy so book a appointment before hand. They are busy cause it's a good place for regular check ups and surgery for your animal, I seen they also do grooming. My baby recovered well. Not the cheapest place compared to others, but money is not a issue for a good vet in my eyes. Did blood test before putting kitty to sleep and monitored her well. 100% recommend.

The staff and Dr Kudman are fantastic!!! I brought my scared not very friendly dog who had an awe full ear infection in and they were so good with him. The dr whatever he did didn’t even get a whimper out of my dog which in itself is a miracle. Everyone there were so kind to me and my dog. The Dr explained everything to me afterward and even scheduled an appointment for me to come back to teach me how to clean my dogs ears properly (no fee). That in itself blew me away. This man really cared. He could haves gave me meds and sent me on my way, but he wanted my dog to get better and stay that way. This will be my vet from now on. I will only be bringing my dog here. First time here with my new puppy. The receptionist was very nice and was able to schedule me as soon as possible for an appointment. She got me checked in and registered within their system very quickly with minimal effort of my part. The tech (I think his name was Alex) brought me in and set up my puppy for initial examination and also gave me a tutorial on cleaning the puppy’s ears. Dr. Kudman examined by puppy and encouraged me to ask as many questions as possible during the exam. He even emailed me a tutorial on ear cleaning and links to some supplies I may need. I could tell from my interaction with him that he genuinely cares about the pets examines. I highly recommend this veterinary practice and Dr. Kudman.

Look no more - this is the place. I'm currently having my first in my life cat so I decided to take him to Dr. Kudman to neuter and get some missing vaccines. I think Dr.Kudman is very talented and caring vet that I've ever seen. He might look a bit strange to you but trust me this person know what he is doing. I asked him 100 silly questions and he answered all of them. Not money driven, truly passionate and compassionate about pets. Loved the place- small and neat and staff super nice. Dr himself contacted me after surgery to check in on my cat. I'm impressed. Thank you dr. Kudman, now this will be the only place where I go to check my cat. Prices very fair.

It's my first time having a pet (male cat) and I got him neutered here! I was really nervous about it but the assistants and doctor were all so nice, the doctor made me feel really comfortable and answered all my questions. The pricing is great as well, I called everywhere I believe here is the cheapest. Bloodwork, surgery, and medication all together cost only $357 and were on the same day. He was vaccinated already though so it may be more if your cat needs their vaccines. But overall, usually bloodwork costs a lot more on top of the neutering price, so I was very pleased:) My cat did super well and he was a year old. 10/10 would recommend

I hardly ever post reviews, but thought it would be a shame if I didn't share how great my experience was at this place. My dog is very nervous and hates going to the vet. It usually takes him a few days to recover even after routine vaccines. However, Dr. Kudman made him feel really comfortable right away. He pet Sebastian and played with him for a few minutes before starting the exam. It turned out that he required a small procedure to remove a growth and when we came back to the clinic, the dog didn't even flinch. The procedure went smoothly and the doctor called after hours just to follow up. I couldn't recommend anyone better!

Best vet in the world. Dr. Kudman is a super cool guy and really, really incredible doctor, and the staff is so great! My cat is super difficult but they treat her with love and care all the same. At one point my cat was suddenly very sick and I left them a message in the middle of the night explaining her symptoms. The next day they called me back before they opened and scheduled her to come in during their break. If that's not dedication I don't know what is! Needless to say, she felt a whole lot better when we got home. I'm so glad they exist. Also, if you get your cat spayed here they have adorable surgical onesies.

very kind and HONEST vets. I cannot tell you how hard that is to find with a pet who has been through major surgery and will for the rest of his life develop UTI's due to the surgery that saved his life. I took my cat here and the vet was able to diagnose him even without a urinalysis his bladder was empty at the time but from simply doing a smell test; his old vet would of ordered xrays, blood, sonograms and traumatized him and it would of ended up costing me several hundred dollars for the same diagnosis instead of under $100.

We love Dr. Robinson and his assistants, Laura & Diane - they are the most humane, kind and selfless people that we've ever met! They took care of our cat, Bubbles when she was in the various stages of renal disease - even to the point of Laura staying overnight with Bubbles, so she wasn't alone the night that we brought her to the office as an "emergency". This dr. and his assistants have BIG hearts of GOLD and we could go on and on about our kitty vet visits/stories, but we'd be here all day! We love you ALL! Kathy & Kim

Very fast and friendly service! The receptionists there are very kind and thorough. Very communicative and patient. And Dr. Esconza is very thorough, understanding and she explains everything pretty well so you understand. It's definitely better service than Howard Beach Animal Clinic in my opinion. You are remembered and they stay very much on top of things here at 4 Legged Friends Vet. FYI: I go to the one on Bath Ave. It's a good 10 minute walk from my house. Don't regret the decision at all.

It was my first time taking my two cats here after a recommendation and I am so glad I found this place. They got me an appointment pretty quickly and the Dr and staff were so wonderful. I am a first time feline mommy and when I thought my kitten might have a bad eye infection, I was very worried, and the entire staff did such a great job not only putting me at ease , but also handling the cat so nicely and gently. I would highly recommend them!

Dr Kudman took a difficult tusk of replacing Dr Robinson who passed away. Dr Robinson was a great animal lover at really discount price, probably that's why the place was a little grim, when Dr Kudman started and renovated the place it really improved aesthetically , free cafe and water , pricing went a little bit up but its still affordable. Dr Kudman seems to know what he is doing and he is quite friendly. I would recommend this vet clinic .

Dr. Eskanzi you are an angel! For the receptions,nurses, assistant everybody there! I can’t say enough thank you what you did today for my dog,and for us! I almost thought had to say good bye to him but the clinic did everything and give him back his comfort..finally he slept till we arrived back to home. I highly Recommend this clinic. Extremely Professional, Clean and attentive. The Doctors name was Dr. Kudman and he SAVED my dogs life. I went to the ER the night before and they signed off my dog with a clean bill of health. Dr Kudman is excellent caring doctor whose knowledge of the pets allows him to make correct diagnosis. My pibble loves coming to see the doctor, who's always friendly and puts her at ease. With his knowledge of the pets medicine, he was able to diagnose liver tumor in my dog, and point us to the right specialists for emergency liver tumor removal surgery which saved my dog's life

Dr. Robinson has always been attention to all of my dogs. I brought a one day old pitbull puppy with a torn sleeve, which he stitched up immediately and did not overcharge at all. He's always been very direct and not quick to push product(unneeded meds) for any of my dogs. I hope he continues to provide care at this location, I can't see myself taking my babies to anyone else.

Dr.Kudman is one of the most sincere, nicest people I have ever met. He will never pressure you to do things you do not want to do, and everything is extremely fair in terms of pricing. Made a same day appointment. Checked us in pretty quickly after filling out 1 two sided sheet of details pertaining to pet. Doctor was great, gave us a serious tone and also joked with us as well, made sure to answer all our questions. His nurse was extremely careful and showed our pet lots of love to feel safe being at the doctors.

Not a good vet at all. He had very little knowledge and had to resort to a book to get the answer. Their incompetence cost me money when I had to go another vet after there misdiagnosis. U get what u pay for. Go to a professional, smart, caring vet and save yourself from paying double in the end. I will never go to this guy again.

It was about the business only. Nobody cared about the pet. A member of my family came to the office to put my almost 16 years old cat to sleep, but instead we got different suggestions. Unfortunately, we followed. The suggestions were wrong and only prolonged my cat's suffering. Not satisfied, frustrated and very unhappy.

Vents seam to be good at both locations. I have visited both Bath Ave and Kings Highway offices. You will have to jump hurdles to schedule and confirm an appointment. Better call them few times to confirm an appointment otherwise risking to show up at the clinic and be a total surprise to the staff.

We have been coming here for the past 2 years. The receptionists are all very lovely and helpful. The Dr we go to always answers our questions, as best he can. They also provide water, tea and coffee which is also an awesome perk. It might be expensive for some but its totally worth it in the end!

I've had dogs and cats my entire life. Dr. William is the best vet I've ever taken them to hands down. He loves his work and he loves my animals. When I bring my dog in, Will and Choji are so excited to see each other I'm almost jealous. He has a relationship with every animal that walks in.

I have a little fur baby that Dr.Kudman has seen for about 2 months. My little one has been scratching for awhile and after being at my wits end I when to another vet and found out it was ear mites about 4 days into the treatment and my baby is no long itching beware of this place

I was new to having a kitten, unknowingly adopted with feline herpes and ringworms. I was worried for his wellbeing and was perfectly reassured on his recovery. They walked me through the proper steps into keeping my cat and home safe! They're honest and would highly recommend!

I brought my cat there because she wasn't eating or drinking. The vet quickly assessed that she had a dental issue and took care of her right away. The moment I got her home she was noticeably feeling so much better. I was very pleased...and relieved with the outcome.

The doctor and the ladies up front have always been kind and patient whenever I went there. My 2 dogs love the doc. There is one specific perk that I like, that I realized I wanted after going to 3-4 other vets. And thats the perk of never feeling ripped off.

My sisters cat needed to be treated as an emergency and I’m glad I helped find this veterinarian office. Reasonable fee for consultation(I shopped around). Cat is doing much much better. Will highly recommend and wish you have the same experience as we did.

We bring all our pets to Dr. Kudman at 4 Legged Friends. He and his staff are so knowledgeable, caring and warm towards us and our pets and the prices are so reasonable. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Kudman has been our family vet for the past 6 years. In that time has treated our fur babies with compassion and respect. He has a heart of gold. His staff makes you feel like family.

Everyone is accommodating, pleasant and professional. Becky and Laura are especially efficient. Dr. Kudman is great! He’s caring and compassionate. I wouldn’t take my cat anywhere else.

I like this Veterinary Clinic. They are always very friendly. The only issue is, they keep giving my cat a different age, only because he is bigger then they believe he should be.

Horrible lady in the front desk is Tribble she said she is not a vet but she wants to tell me , I don't think bring your pet here would help I wasn't asking for free sevices..

Very friendly and professional staff. Doctor was able to evaluate and treat my dog without an appointment. They didn't push for vaccines or unnecessary expenses.

Went thru a rough time when my dog and then 1 of my cats a year later passed away. The vet and office staff were so comforting, they made us feel like family.
