"How to stop for gas on the way home to Utah county"
10/20/19 6:15 AM My friend and I went here to grab a quick drink. It was to early to put on shoes, we were tired and were ready for bed. The man working the cashier was polite until he realized we only had socks on. May I mention that there was no sign that stated “no shirts, no shoes, no service”. I completely understand that it isn’t right to not wear shoes. But the man that was working was very disrespectful. He told us not to come back unless we were dressed appropriately. Another thing I may mention we are minors. If this man is really a man he would know that we are too young to really know to know or not know whether to wear shoes or not. My friend and I are very heated in this moment. I was not disrespectful to this man, my friend was not disrespectful to this man. We were very shocked to be treated this way. Not only that, I tried three different sodas and none of them tasted like soda. They all tasted like carbonation. We have lived in Salt Lake our whole lives and gone there for years. I am very disappointed in this store and hope to see things change.
I have had several horrible experiences with this this store. The most recent today was the worst! The other day a homeless man came in to buy a papsi and was 3 pennies short. It was extremely hot outside and the man refused to sell him the Pepsi over 3 pennies??? And today I was using the app to buy my daughter a free slurpee and the app was not working. There were two other drinks being bought with it, after trying several times to make the app work the manager said she just took the price of the slurpee off. The total for the two drinks came to 3.35 and I gave her 5.55.she gave me exactly a dollar back... I said that did not make sense and asked her to pull the receipt up. She had still charged me for the slurpee but did it separately so I wouldn't see the total. To make it even more upsetting the lady waiting behind me who had 3 drinks in her arms said she was leaving and just walked out with the drinks (WITHOUT Paying) and the manager says ok hun I'm sorry?!?!?!? I'm sorry but this entire situation was completely unacceptable!!!!
I don't recommend going to this location unless you absolutely have to. There is now an older gentleman with a white turbin that works the front counter and he goes out of his way to be rude to customers. The last 4 times I went to this location, he refused to take my money because I was only buying a soda and didn't use a dollar bill. He would yell and throw back to me whatever bill I tried to use to pay for my soda unless it was a dollar. Today he refused to take a ten dollar bill to pay for a soda and chips since it was too big and yelled at me and told me to leave. I never have this kind of problem at any other 711 so if you don't need to go to this location then I wouldn't.
I visited the 7/11 on 780s 900w Salt Lake City, Utah 84104 on Saturday, September 16, 2023. I accidentally purchased a wrong 6ft cable (Lightening Cable) for $22. When trying to return it for another, the clerk said “no” in broken English. I asked to speak to his manager. He called the manager and was directed to give me a credit return, but he didn’t know how to do it. He fiddled with the machine and tried to return the amount to my card, but was unsuccessful. He also didn’t know how to give me a receipt. I would like to get my money back as soon as possible. I also think it would help if employees knew how to perform basic job functions and spoke English.
How to stop for gas on the way home to Utah county. Pedro deserves a 5 star review usually when I walk into a store at 5 o'clock in the morning And it's slow the employee Doesn't seem to have that great work ethic or keep a clean store Like Pedro does his his great customer service and smile Can make someone's whole day And that's a rare quality So is the way I walk in and he's doing work that needs to be dthe bathroom was Very cleanHe wasn't sitting down the counter on his phone like most Do and I don't go out of my way to leave reviews for people but I felt like I had to hear because I just stood out to me
Staff is rude, there are ALWAYS people harassing you for money to in the parking lot, and the store is always mess. We went there and saw 2 roaches in the coffee area. We trapped them under an empty cup and showed the clerk. He lifted up the cup and let them out. He put the cup back for some unsuspecting soul to use and proceeded to spray the entire coffee area with bug spray. He contaminated everything and just walked away. We will never go there again.
The cashier didn't want to sell me beer because I didn't have an American ID. I feel like it's a lack of discrimination anywhere in the world. I've heard that they won't sell it to you because you're from another country. You have to have an American ID. How crazy is this? I wanted to show him my passport and he said no, what a lack of respect, besides that the cashier was not even American, he has Indian features.
Regularly get gas here because it's close to home, and for cash back offered at this location with my card. However, last night, the clerk on duty tried to tell me they don't accept debit card for gas. When I explained I had just used the same card less than 24 hours before to get gas, he said he would do it, but told me to never come back! When I asked for the store phone number and his name, he refused to answer.
I paid for some gas, went out to pump it and it would not pump. I figured the attendant put it on the wrong pump so I went back in the store. The attendant told me I have 2 minutes to start pumping, keep in mind I paid, w3ent to pump, came back inside all within 2 minutes. The manag3er told me I was SOL. I dash and average 1500 to 2000/mo on gas and will never re3turn again
DO NOT GET GAS HERE. I tried three different pumps, none of them worked and one charged me $6 without giving me any gas. When I went in the store to ask the cashier about it she obviously couldn't care less that I got ripped off, and treated me like I was stupid for not magically knowing there was only one working pump in the whole place, despite no signs saying so.
01/06/2021 the time was 8:25 The lady who had the cash register got me confused for some on and thought I was stealing. I'm not going to come here again. She threatened the police would come if I didn't show her a cookie wrapper that was in my pocket. Then claimed that she thought she was somebody she knew. This is unacceptable get some better people to work here.
Not one to leave reviews, but the people working the counter just tried to steal money from me. I paid $30 in cash for gas and they didn’t put it on the pump. When I came in to have it moved to a different pump, they tried to tell me that I got the gas AND change from the transaction.
No restroom because of covid huh wonder where the so called employees go just gives them a reason to be lazy and not have to clean it's ok I'll take my business somewhere else.. If they were really that worried they wouldn't take cash!
Me and my family shop here at least three times a day if not more and there is a employee that is very disrespectful and treats customers very rude and is very hostile at times. I’ve personally seen it numerous times.
Worst 7/11 ever They cleaned out the panhandlers, but this one employee had a super snarky attitude from the minute I walked in the store. You'll save money going to Smith's across the street anyway
The Polynesian lady that usually works mornings is the nicest 7-11 employee I've ever met. Give this woman a raise! :) *Update: Her name is Sara by the way. Give that woman a raise.
I was in here and this man working the counter was making fun of a mentally disabled teen. Very sad when I said hey that's not cool the man behind the counter said he didn't care.
Leaen to pick up the phone when it rings i just called twice and got a funny tone in my ear both times. I work in public survice and that is not ok
Do NOT get gas here! Their pumps are either broken or slow as molasses. No wonder everyone lines up to the little gas station across the street.
One of the older I believe Chinese cashier ripped me off on 3$ and ripped off another customer and decided to walk out.. not very good service
Extremely dirty and unkept with bums outside the door asking for money. Bathrooms made me throw up in my mouth a little they were so nasty.
Pump wasn’t working and they didn’t want to give my money back ! And when I called they hung up on me !
I got sprayed with gas.. The handle wasn't sealed all the way and it went all over my coat and hands.
Nicest cashier ever at a 7 eleven! She was super kind and very positive. Made my day better …
Customer service is always great. Does have a lot of traffic inside and out.
Worst 7-11 ever will never go there again and I am only a half block away!!
He tried to sell me two dollar button for ten dollars And asked for cash
Very rude clerks here. All men. I will NEVER go to this store again.
I love this place. They have great service the workers are very kind
Normally pretty good but sometimes I feel they don’t care
Customer service could be better
