We visit this 711 daily at least 2 times per day, and at times, we visit other ones including the one on Brisbois. I can say that this 711 is by far the most clean with friendly long-serving staff. They normally greet us with a "hi." Based on this, the rating would be 5 stars. Recently, we noticed that they have been saying 'welcome to 711'. So we inquired about this change and were given the shocking explanation that if staff don't stay the full phrase of 'Welcome to 711' they will get fired. It is disgusting to know that staff at this 711 are so easily disposable and expendable over something so insignificant and unnecessary. It is obvious that we are at 711, therefore the phrase of "Welcome to 711" is redundant and sounds disingenuous. It makes us feel uncomfortable to know that their job, their livelihood, depends on a 3-word redundant phrase. How are we to feel comfortable supporting a company that obviously views its staff as disposable, less than, and expendable? The reason we keep coming back is because of the long-serving staff, who, quite frankly, deserve better from the manager/owner. I also find it interesting that when we came into this 711, that the manager didn't say the phrase "Welcome to 711". How hypocritical is that? He should be fired, as he is the one who supposedly sets the standard. I will be sending a copy of this review to head office as I believe that any employee in any industry deserves more respect than what is being dished out by this company.
The night crew is always super. Giving 4/5 for a bad experience today at 11:44am where someone I presume is an assistant manager yelled at me across the parking lot after I'd paid and left, asking whether I'd paid. I tapped my card and it was accepted in front of the previous cashier, I put my items in my bag in front of them before they quickly walked into the aisle. I thanked them loudly as I was leaving and they reciprocated. Cue the parking lot with the irate presumable shift manager, I walk back into the store to even show the purchase confirmed on the app. They realized I had paid and shooed me off with my receipt. Please do your due diligence before you chase someone as if they're a thief.
Always clean unless a bunch of jerkoffs come in and terrorize the Slurpee area and the staff don’t have time to clean up before next customer. Said staff are kind, professional, and helpful at the best of times, and simply pleasant enough at the worst. Have yet to have a bad experience, and I admittedly am a fiend that comes here multiple times a week. Food options are decent, stock is usually good, and beverages are consistent. Would highly recommend the place if you’re in need of a local 7/11. P.S. If you’re one of the people making the staff’s jobs harder by being disrespectful and dirty, I hope you step on a thousand Lego pieces in bare feet.
The last 2 days again with customers not wearing masks in store. When I asked staff they have told me that management instructs them not to enforce the mask rule. You are not being honest when you reply stating it is concerning to you. I have filed a complaint with AHS to send out an inspector. 7-11 staff allow customers in the store without masks. The staff say they are told not to engage with these customers by management. Whether these customers wear a mask or not is their business, but don't coming walking up to me and getting in my space. No wonder so any people are getting sick, ending up in hospital and dying.
my son went there once and payed 20 $ for 2 pairs of headphones... turns out in total 2 headphones ends out to be 17.46$ so he got ripped off and then a female white employee banned him for supposidly "stealing" i believe this individual should be fired and if she is not we should boycott the seven eleven not all but just that one ik it sounds selfish but what would you think if it happened to you or a relative and or friend that you know? its disapointing that people like that can get hired but good people fall to wealthfare because they cannot get hired sorry for talking so much im just kinda disapointed
I came in to redeem a lottery ticket with a free play after confirming on my phone app. The clerk asked for me to verify on their kiosk, so I did and confirmed the free play. Then the clerk scanned the ticket, and asked if I wanted a free play, and said yes. Then as she pressed the button on the till, I said "no extra", and she said it was too late and berated me about how she asked me already, and I said yes. I guess at this store, "free play" means with extra, and requires an extra $1. I do not recommend redeeming free plays at this store.
Shop here often as its close and convenient. A few great associates who provides excellent service. Bad customer service by a couple of the associates. Went to get some ice cream with my gf as she was craving it at 11pm at night on 19th Feb 2020. The cashier leaves his station, follows her quietly while she was browsing, takes out his phone. My gf said she felt like he took her picture. Creepy experience.
Certified hood 7-Eleven, if you are weak of heart then do not come here. Staff here are absolutely awesome and even know me by name; I'll always come by to pickup my coffee, snacks, candy, ice cream, soft drinks, and pizza. Thanks so much!
Very dirty. Not the most knowledgeable of staff, everything disorganized with boxes everywhere. Their food is expensive. 2.25 for a slice of pizza that is tiny as all beyond. It’s just not worth it. Especially from this dirt pit.
Very clean store with kind and welcoming staff. On one occasion I forgot my wallet and the cashier at the time offered to pay for my items, you don't get customer service like that often anymore. Would recommend!
This is not a convenient store, it is a poorly attended store, 30 seconds in front of the cashier, calling her attention and she did not even look at me, so, I left without my purchase
Apperantly at 5 am they needed to delay my order for an extra half hour (skip order) it was drinks from the cooler and a cold breakfast sandwich. Award for most useless staff ever.
It's a typical 7/11. I used to come here often with my friends and would be watched by the woman behind the till as if we were going to steal something. Besides that it's decent
Received exceptional service by staff today while my family was locked out of our car and awaiting help, the staff was very accommodating and made our hotdogs fresh . …
Come here fairly often. Staff is usually pretty friendly. Slightly disappointed that they stopped packaging the livewires in $1 packages. Overall pretty typical 7-Eleven.
didnt let me purchase something without giving them my phone number even after saying i dont have/want an account. weirdly hostile interaction for a $2 drink.
Ripped me off for my free 7th cup; if the staff aren’t trained they shouldn’t be left alone... whats the point of having the rewards in the first place
they are very kind!, they have patience when i dont understand them sometimes, and they help you with a smile, it is the best. Ps: Lárraga family.
Worst coffee I have ever tasted! I don’t mind drinking bad coffee but the coffee here was so horrible I threw it out
I don't know why they have so many one star reviews. Its a typical 7 11 Its not awful, not amazing. It just is
It a seven eleven.all the normal stuff your can expect, the hot dogs, pizzas, misc hot food and nukable food
Just bought a pizza I get home it's not even fully cooked now they aren't answering their phone....
The counter guy insulted my wife and friends for not understanding instructions in English.
I work in the area and visit the 7/11 fairly often, staff are accommodating and friendly!
I've had some great convos with the staff here. Very good 7-11
7-eleben has really increased items on their warm food menu.
No public bathrooms, and staff who could not care less.
Very unfriendly girl works there at night shift.
