One of the booth agents at 96th on the 6 line needs to be fired. He saw me swipe in with my unlimited and then walk up to street level to retrieve my umbrella from a business. He wouldn’t even allow me to reenter the system without waiting for 18 minutes. Zero help or courtesy. Disgusting customer service and conduct but not too surprising being that it’s the MTA.

Everyone the image is wrong. This is not the Q train on the Second Avenue Line. This is the 6 on the Lexington Avenue Line. Honestly how are you going to review a place and not know the location you are reviewing

New station and it looks great. Very artsy and modern. Plenty of seating for the waiting area. Metropolitan hospital is one block away. Residential area with coffee shops and deli restaurants around.

They have to do something with the homeless on those cars, 96th station Q train, specially early morning, no few, later is several homeless ppl sleeping, but the worst is the smell .. terrible

This is the Lexington Ave 6 subway at 96th Street. It is a local and you can change to the express Downtown at 86th St. or Uptown at 125th St. This location is NOT the Second Ave Q station.

Really great looking and well kept train station with frequent train service 24/7. Not ADA compliant but there's Wi-Fi and Cellular service in the station.

Well lit, not to dirty. Sitting area above tracks if you dont want to sit down in platform area. I wish all trains were constructed that way.

It's okay. Since there are many different people from different places, it may get dirty from time to time.

An elevator or escalator is needed at this stop. If you are not in good physical shape, avoid, avoid!

It has a passage way so you can switch between uptown and downtown trains and that is very useful.

Not a fan of this station. It's crowded but it's near Mt. Sinai hospital so it's alright

the north east stairwell is always being repaired and the station leaks when it rains.
