In the good olden days (which were not so good and nor so olden) as a matter of procedure you were gang-shanked the moment you stepped off the train onto this platform. Nowadays people frown on that type of greeting... so you are more likely to be met with a rush of stony-faced commuters who are wondering how the MTA will dump-hole their lives that day. Weather permitting, buskers perform at this station, which is a nice break from having nothing to which to listen besides other people's intimate cellphone conversations. The physical installations are also well maintained at present, with digital screens displaying how the MTA is delaying and re-routing its commuters on any given day (some things will never change!).
The biggest, the best & the brightest. This station is the largest above ground station in the City, and of course, it is a Brooklyn/Coney style scaffolding. Connecting 4 trains & 12 buses, you can get anywhere in a few minutes. This station gets heavily crowded for weeks during the summer time, so watch your ➏. Theres 2 entrances, covered by the ticket gates. Its also loud & rumbly. Good hangout spot during the day time. If you have to be in Manhattan in 30min, the train is your line, unless you can make it to Brighton Station for the . (Which is my favorite). Stay Cool.
Very busy station, it's a large station for large crowds. Always a functioning bathroom (that's important). The D, F, N, Q trains go there and it's the last stop. I live in the bronx and take one train there - the D and while it mayb an hour ride, it's so worth it. Plea see check out the pics. From the station and trains, you can see as you approach coney island.
good subway station. it is a large complex w/ places to eat underneath and it serves many subway lines. good view of some of Manhattan skyline from the end of the D train platform too. trains here leave on time and it was very easy to figure out which track i'm supposed to go even though the station was really large & compex.

So you are going on the train on your way to Coney Island. You get out here and it is just so grand and beautiful. You notice the intertwined iron work above. High stair cases. The place looks so old but so well kept. You can just feel that you are getting closer to that beach.
Great scenery and fun times at beach. Only thing is that over that years it seems as if there's less to do here besides beach and amusement park. For example, half of the boardwalk games and arcades were closed. Nevertheless, it was still a good time.
Very spacious and probably one of the most well equipped MTA stations of all. Platforms are wheelchair friendly (there are slopes and elevators). men and women's bathrooms are open from 7am - 7pm. Close to the beach and next to the amusement park.
Very poor service! They spin on passengers! Like they can show on their monitors that the next train will depart from the left platform but after time is out they depart the train from the right platform. So you need to wait 10 minutes more.
While I was going down the stairs the information board showed that the D train departs in 5 minutes. Despite this, the D train left earlier. Is it really so difficult to show the correct information of train departures? We live in the 21st
Great visit on a winter day. Walked the beach, gazed at the amusement park rides, smell of saltwater ocean and finished up with a visit to Nathan's HotDogs. Very relaxing indeed. A kool place to visit and worth the trip.
It's convenient having 4 different trains (D, F, N, Q) to take and a bunch of other buses. It is super crowded in the summer season when the Luna Park is open and a lot of people come here for the beach.
This is last stop of the D, F,Q and N tren. There has a big Coney Island luna Park and amusement parks for adults and kids. I like this station because it’s so beautiful view to the ocean. …
It’s monumental large station ,bright in the architecture and amazing .. I loved the fact that when you all you do walk in the platforms to you get it to street and boardwalk or Bus station to.
It's an old station with a very cool building. The lines are well signed and it's easy to find what you need. It's the last stop so the trains are spend a while parked at the station.
This is the last stop once you step off you will smell the ocean and hear the seagulls calling each other. You will see the famous Cyclone rollercoaster and Deno's Rides enjoy.
This train station is absolutely beautiful. It's the newest big train station in Brooklyn, and is one of my favorite stations to travel to and from, as well as to photograph.
This is great Visit place Coney Island .Beach ... every Summer time went to that's place with My Family's Member. I was passing Lifetime like Streams Reaching.. Bottomless
UPDATE 7/12/23: QUITE A NEW ATMOSPHERE ENJOY YOUR TRIP TO CONEY ISLAND!! ....... 4 trains available 'D,Q,F'N.. B64 B68 B74 B36 buses. Bathroom could be much cleaner though.
I use to take this train station to last stop to Coney Island when I was a little kid to go on rides. There are multi train routes to choose from for your destination.
Station itself is fine, as well as the amusement park nearby. The area around is pretty dirty and loud though. Advise those coming here to visit the boardwalk.
Many changes taking place in the entire amusement area. Doesn't look and feel like the Coney Island I grew up on. A sad experience. Progress brings change.
kinda sketchy if your there at night. the area is not right next to the boardowlak like you would l think you have to walk a little ways. Just be aware
Lots of foot traffic in the summer. Always clean with some food, ATM and beach gift stores. There is a police station also located at this location.
Lots of people. A lot of things going on. Performers, attractions, the beach. Very fun and upbeat place for the whole family. Kid friendly as well.
Amazing architecture and organize space. There's some people who can guide you in Coney Island. Don't hesitate to ask them anything you need
Q line just ain't going nowhere after 10pm. Southbound trains will be standing still for half an hour at every stop approaching it.
Clean terminal, Quick access to. Coney Island and NYC Aquarium. Several shops and service center. Subway N,F,Q trains.
This station has one of the best views. One can see the world famous Cyclone, Wonder Wheel, and the original Nathan's.
Historic subway stations within a beautiful station. The station even has countdown clocks!
I will be going on a nother Friday night to see more fireworks.
Expensive, bring six months of wages with you, for each child.
Coney Island is very nice to work and shop
Great, safe travels . …
