"A blessing to the budget traveller"
"The E train , MTA has no respect for its riders"
"Careful with the group of people who ask for your metro card on the way out, saying you no longer need it if you are leaving: if you are going to take the air train to JFK, you still need your metro card (you’ll have to pay for it again if you give it away)"
"As opposed to pre-pandemic, the trains were running close to on time"
I just came over here to talk about Patricia, she is the most lovely employee that I ever seen. If you want to know more about her just go on youtube and search "Auditing America", there is one episode of this station in which she has been recorded providing service to the public. She is awesome! Please support the good people :)
A blessing to the budget traveller. Coming from Manhattan en route to JFK airport, it is a smooth transit from the E train ($2.75) to the JFK AirTrain ($8). Good signage across the station and great connectivity. Hassle-free travel to the airport. Skip the traffic and the high taxi fares and ride the metro when you can.
The E train , MTA has no respect for its riders. If a train is going to change route in the middle of its route.; there should be a clear operational dispatcher making announcements. Not just letting the prompter announce it without it being heard. Consistent miscommunication. So tired! Like many riders
Careful with the group of people who ask for your metro card on the way out, saying you no longer need it if you are leaving: if you are going to take the air train to JFK, you still need your metro card (you’ll have to pay for it again if you give it away). Hope this helps someone :)
As opposed to pre-pandemic, the trains were running close to on time. The train cars were clean and were not too crowded during rush hour. The ticket woman was friendly and helpful. The LIRR is back and better than ever. It was a pleasure to ride without any hassles.
This is my hood Man I from Jamaica NY And yes this is my subway jfk airport Sutphin Blvd I really miss that hood man and my subway is E Jamaica Center When I come out subway I eat hotdogs pizza And Yankees knicks that is my Favorite memory’s :D …
This entire place is a disgrace and embarrassment to NYC from the inside to the outside surrounding area. One of the largest transportation hubs in NYC yet it is stroon with homeless beggars who verbally harass commuters as they're trying to go about their day.
It's great for transfer to the LIRR and connection to the (J)(Z). Is an accessible station. The station suffers from homeless and is a pretty bad neighborhood around the station. The Airtrain is a good transfer point here too, but you have to pay $8 to get in.
Has all the connections you'll need, but really sad that the place is so ghetto and a disturbing lack of police presence these days. It should be heavily patrolled day and night. Get this place clean and in shape (that means the subway too) and its 5 stars
a little dusty plenty of people from 5:30 am to 9:30 am. 7.75 dollars to ride the air walk to the airport so the regular ticket doesn't count. There's a lot of guys there who are really harsh towards women some arguments and children. they
Queens connects all roads! From this station, the AirTran will take you directly to JFK, where you can get wherever a plane will take you. Catch the LIRR to Penn Station or to Long Island. Hop on the E train or J train to explore the rest
One of the busiest stations in queens, the J line customers transfer here to the E line down the queens corridor, the LIRR customers switch to the E line when the railway is delayed or there's no service to Penn station, the tourists from
this station gets an A+ for connectivity and convenience. It has elevators and is conveniently located right below LIRR and the AirTrain to JFK, plus OMNY has helped to kill down some hideous lines for MetroCard machines. The only thing I
Most crowded area. Lot of homeless, drunk and begging people around. Unclean garbage area. Illegal taxi service drivers do not allow you to stand and pick up your passengers. Below the train track bridge very dark, unlit area. On 94 st at
An important station with many communication, link, transfer etc. This station has subway of E J Z train. This is also a Long Island Rail Road station, and JFK air train station. Many transfer busses. Many food shop inside. Also many kind
J trains in both directions are unpardonably late and often filthy. E trains are way more reliable. At street level, the LIRR is dandy. Also, the immediate area boasts fish markets and fresh produce of top quality and low cost. Check out
I don’t get it why the greatest city of the greatest country in the world has such a dirty and dilapidated subway station. Tracks are always filled with trash including but not limited to newspapers, water bottles, take out boxes and the
Gritty, morbid and completely disgusting with swipers standing near all of the turnstiles harassing people for a metro card swipe. I've had the unfortunate luck of using this station since I was a child. It was ghetto back then, still is,
This area station probably is most very dangerous worst I ever See there to much drug dealer smoke weed too much homeless man drunk man. Is not safe if you go to this station. THEY NEED GET RID OF DRUG DEALER AND DRUNK AND HOMELESS and
This is a good station for a few reasons, you can catch the E train to manhattan, or you can go up stairs to catch the air train to jfk airport that also takes you to Howard beach and far Rockaway station the A train. and you also have
This station is in dire need of a heavy police presence. All of these damn agressive swipe sellers (which is illegal BTW), and fake panhandlers make the station a hassle for tourists and locals alike who have to use this station. The
With clear instructions, it's really easy for first comer to follow the google map and find the way to take train or lead us to the destination we head to. Actually, I can take train or subway to Manhattan , but I still prefer subway
This is one of the dirtier stations I've been to, but it seems like it's slowly getting better. They recently added a new wide "turnstile" for people with luggage which makes it a lot more accessible for people going to the airport.
Beyond disgusted with customer service here was told I have two options take it or don't so I think I'm going to take heed to that poor advice and get back to the tolls and bridges I would rather pay them than pay these rude workers
Very poor experience. The metro machines are not accepting foreign credit or ATM cards. When you’re in a hurry, it’s a really frustrating experience. Machines don’t return change and I ended up paying twice as much for the AirTrain.
It's dirty and for many this is the first thing people see of NYC so maybe it helps to set the table but also you would think since this is the first thing that people that we would try to impress those that come here.
Not sure I’ve ever been there while both escalators from subway to airtrain are actually working. Still no Omni on the airtrain - must be the only place in the city you still need a physical metro card.
Main Terminal for commute between Queens and Manhattan or whether you choose to travel outside to the Bronx or Brooklyn. Air Trains, Subways, Ubers and Taxis. Also Business commuted.
Today the turnstiles got stuck and everytime I swiped my metrocard I lost fares. There were no signs saying it was damaged and the station supervisor needs to be checked up on.
Very quick transit & friendly staff. Well connected to all surrounding areas. Good way to reach both Manhattan, specially Time Square along with rest of the city & JFK
Big transportation hub with quick transfer to different directions. It has three subway lines, bus terminal, MTA Long island rail lines and air train to JFK.
Been there done that, sometimes there may be delays on some aircrafts. Usually people have got to wait until their flight number is called
On rush hours you have to be very quick. Trains are a bit complex to understand but after 2 -3 rides you can easily play with the subways.
The station is fully accessible from the subway, to street level to LIRR tracks to the JFK monorail. There are bathrooms and shops.
Everything here could use a scrub, but the E train to the city from here isn't bad, subway prices are good. Service runs late.
I was here when I was a teenager in 2013! Not a nice experience, there were citizens fighting in the waiting time and also
Excellent, there are some constructions inside the station in order to make it better.
This station smells like homeless all the time Is a nightmare to be there.
Very busy place. Police presents seen and much needed
Really stinky everywhere in the whole station
