Today, I walked into the store looking to buy a bicycle computer. One staff was sitting behind the counter, staring at the computer screen, completely ignoring me, even though I had approached him. I thought he might be busy with something important, so I patiently stood a short distance away, waiting. At that moment, another staff who was assisting other customers in the distance greeted me and said they would be with me shortly. Meanwhile, the employee sitting in front of the computer remained completely silent, deeply engrossed in the computer screen, as if I were invisible. I rarely encounter such computer focused store employees in well-known Australian chain stores, and I'm not sure what kind of training he has received. However, I believe he deserves a negative review, specifically for him. On the other hand, another store employee was very helpful, and I ended up purchasing a bicycle computer from him. PS: I don't need any EXTRA care as you replied below, what I want is just being treated as a normal customer, not ignoring. Thanks.

99 Bikes at Pennant Hills has provided me with some amazing service over the past little while. When I have been in to purchase accessories etc they have been attentive and helped me find a product which suited my needs perfectly at a great price. One particular event however has encouraged me to write a glowing review. My Wahoo KickR had a warranty issue which needed to be rectified and my KickR replaced. The original store I purchased the Kickr from was a competitor of 99 Bikes. This store I purchased it from was closing down and unable to assist with warranty issues. 99 Bikes Pennant Hills took over the warranty claim and kindly assisted me with dealing with the Wahoo representatives/contacts and having my KickR replaced very quickly. The team was attentive, patient with me and assisted me so well for essentially something that had no transactional benefit to them. The customer service was genuine and kind and I can't thank them enough.

I was interested in buying a bike that would allow me to traverse local bitumen road surfaces without too much drag via the tyres and also allow me to occasionally go off road. I was not sure on the gearing but did know that I wanted the bike to be on the lighter side. I was initially assisted by Leighton who did some very good research for me and was very helpful. Micha assisted me the second day I visited the shop. Micha was very patient and knowledgeable and actively listened to my needs regarding a new bike as well as steering me in the right direction on some items, especially the gearing. I now have the bike and can say it is the best bike I have ever had. It fulfills all my needs and I appreciate the assistance I was given in the shop.

Great customer service - very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m not a regular cyclist, so know very little about bikes and accessories, but the customer service I got from Norman was excellent. He wasn’t pushy at all, and was able to guide me to the best products to suit my needs, regardless of whether they were the cheapest or more expensive ones in what we often a bewilderingly large range. When I bought my bike and asked about the next one up in the range I was even told that it was not necessary given my needs (casual rides with my 7 year old) and talked out of upgrading. Highly recommend 99 Bikes.

Customer service is the best I have ever seen from a bike shop. I was undecisive on the bike I wanted started with a hard tail Cube and ended up with the Cube stereo 160 SL with 2 or 3 models in-between as I changed my mind many time, Layton was great and happily change the invoice about 5 times haha. It was my first e-bike so made sure what I took home I wouldn't regret what I bought in 3 weeks time. I recommend 99 Bikes Pennant Hills to anyone who is thinking about buying there first e-bike or any bike. You Guys are Awesome...... Joe.

Went to 99 Bikes today in Pennant Hills- I walked in with an old bike chain and no idea what I needed- I was greeted by an attendant (can’t recall name) who assisted me with what I needed- he wasn’t able to answer some of my questions, so promptly got a mechanic to assist me. The mechanic (again, not sure of name) was amazingly helpful. Assisted with my questions, told me exactly what I needed and was very knowledgeable. I left feeling great about the service, the team and will certainly come back!

Amazing team at Pennant Hills. Micah was a big help over the phone, helping me find the BMC Roadmachine I was after. Great customer service from Mitch, late in the day - went above and beyond to answer all my questions, provide relevant tips and info for road-biking, went over all aspects of the bike itself, and all while tuning my bike for collection. Obvious why the store is often busy - they're one of the best out there. The bike itself - perfect for what I need and for a great price.

Booked bike in during the week and rang the store to check service info for new bike check & was advised only 10min service. Dropped bike off today, came back at time advised (3hrs later) and waited 25mins to get served to be told person hasn't done it and gone to lunch and won't be back for over 1/2 hr can I wait... second dealing and second disappointment with this store... sales person didn't care at all and told me all he can rebook it for me if I like!

So happy we came in here. We wanted a bike for our sons birthday present, as soon as we walked in we were approached but a really lovely staff member (sorry I can’t remember his name! A South African man) he was so knowledgeable and really helped with the decision over which bike was best for him. He was more than happy readjusting the bike seat until it was just right height for our son and he made the whole process so easy. Highly recommend.

Can’t recommend Micah’s services highly enough. Over multiple phone calls and emails, Micah took the time to work out the exact wheel that would best suit my needs and updated me when the wheel was ready for collection. He was able to answer all my questions and where something needed to be confirmed he double checked it for me. Great customer experience and next time I need assistance from 99 bikes Pennant Hills I’ll be asking for Micah!

Looks like most of these 5 star reviews are for Mitch; I’m not surprised. The guy is knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly professional. He is the epitome of above and beyond service, gave me a full run down and just gave me confidence that I made the right choice. This is a busy shop and if you need assistance, be prepared to wait, but it is worth the wait. The service we received from Mitch was excellent - he answered our questions, carefully sized and measured our son to get the right fit and considered how and where he would be using the bike and had him test riding two different bikes. In the end we ended up with a feature packed bike at a price we were happy with.

A friendly team that smiles, provides helpful advice and guides me to purchases that I continue to be happy with. I’ve found the sales people and mechanics ask me questions and help find the best solution. This is simple but it means they provide the most accurate advice for my specific circumstance. Would recommend for anyone buying bikes, parts, or having repairs/servicing done.

I just started road cycling and popped in to acquire the gear needed to start. Graeme helped me and was very informative about everything and helped me with all the sizing of the helmet, shoes etc. and much more! Bought their own branded bike a few weeks ago for our 9 year old and it’s been working really well for her to learn on than the “Kmart specials”. Gerald is the best bike mechanic I have experienced. He showed a genuine interest and care for my bike and I was able to contact him to receive updates about the service. My bike had an obscure issue which he spent a significant period fixing. My drivetrain hasn't felt as good since it was new after his service.

Justin and the team were a great help when I was buying my first mountain bikes for me and my partner. He ensured we got the right bike and made all the adjustments to suit us. Really appreciated the mechanic fixed a bend thread nut for me. It's an old model skewer and can't find the spare part. Blackman bicycle can't repair it. He is professional and has lots of experience. He just fixed it in 20 mins. I will bring my bike to here to service in the future even I live far away.
