Norman is an absolute champ. He is friendly, personable extremely knowledgeable and able to help people find the perfect bike for their needs. We looked into bikes after a long time not riding, and called and spoke to Norman. Told him our needs and he told us that he would do some research and get back to us. He did. He also made sure that each option was explained to us and even discussed assisted bikes but explained how they would not suit our needs. We got all the accessories we thought we needed, with Norman showing us the best options to suit our needs. Norman never pushed for a sale, or sold us unnecessary accessories. I was thrilled to have Norman taking such good care of us, and hope that 99 Bikes knows just how wonderful Norman is. We have made several referrals already based on our experience, and are looking forward to Norman assisting us with future purchases.

Excellent service and pricing. Needed a new derailleur for my MTB, called 99 Bikes Penrith workshop and they had it in stock. Price compared online and was actually better price in the shop!! Called in and bought parts and was given a quick run down on how to install myself. Had a go at putting it on myself and failed, could not get all gears lined up. Called the shop at midday, they said to bring it in and they would take a look at it. Needed a new cable and some minor adjustments. in and out in 20 minutes. Great service and value for money. The sales guy in Penrith was a bit arrogant and was not happy to have a conversation with me and even irrate on explaining some infos regarding the bike i chose as if not interested of selling the bike but somehow appreciate a young oz girl even she is not talking to him. I may not be good in english but im no stupid. He even offered me to put it inside my car but after the purchased it did not happened. Why working in the field you do not love? Get matured mate. Have an amazing experience with the Penrith 99 Bikes team. Norman ordered a couple of bikes for me to test ride. Good thing, as the bike I chose was not the one I expected I would. On the day I went in, Ethan answered questions and was happy for me to spend time in the store test riding and thinking it through. Paul had some helpful advice about bike modifications and Ethan talked though accessories. I left my new lock down there and Dan arranged for it to be mailed to me. Great service!

I've been a member of 99 Bikes since 2018. I bought 2 bikes from them, Norco Fluid HT 2 and Merida Scultura 6000. Lately I visited their shop in Penrith, straightaway I felt the atmosphere differently. Staff here are friendly. So I decided to bring some of my bikes for servicing. I think its worth to recommend this shop to all who want to come for bike shopping and servicing. Although they don’t have the top of the range bikes at the moment due to covid, but they can order bikes for you.

I just purchased my first dual suspension mtb from 99 Bikes at Penrith, and the team were amazing. From helping me to choose and fit additional components, to setting up the suspension settings, they helped me with it all. I have not yet had a chance to take the new bike for a ride, but I am sure when I do it will be so much more enjoyable due to their over & above efforts to show me how it all works, and how to tweak things if/when required. My husband wanted to buy a bike for himself and I wanted to buy a new bike for my grand daughter. He went into the store to ask for advice. He left after being ignored by the shop staff. He gave the staff plenty of time to ask if he needed help but no-one was interested in making a sale. Luckily there are plenty of other bike stores in Penrith and surrounds. You missed not one but two sales.

Absolutely fantastic customer experience, especially given the COVID restrictions in place. Daniel was a wealth of knowledge, made awesome suggestions and made the decision of where to shop super easy. All the staff were super friendly and patient and I'm confident that they helped me make the right decision about what I needed to get great value for money.

Very bad customer service. Staff don't even acknowledge you even if they can see you've been standing behind the counter patiently waiting your turn. Just a little "I'll be with you after" would've sufficed. The guy just passed me while avoiding eye contact. We even had to chase him to get some service.

Bought a Pedal bike online a few weeks ago and noticed the fork was jiggling around. Took it in this afternoon and was helped by Kieren and Ethan, they tell me they weren't mechanics but they managed to figure out the problem and fix it without charge in less than 30 minutes! Very nice store.
