My grandmother Ms Howze was placed in the wrong casket. I went down in the basement where the caskets are and a price tag was on the casket my grandmother should have been in. The price they listed was almost a 100% markup. Although they corrected the matter, I never received an apology. During the viewing while the family were grieving one of the funeral home staff brought us a stand up floral arrangement. Minutes later he came back and took it without any explanation. A family member asked what was going on and he stated it was for someone else. Minutes after that they brought it back and said they were giving it to us. The next day after the service they took it from us again! The staff was not personable at all!

First of all I want to Say Thank You Jesus for A A Rayner and Sons Funeral Home. My Family and I would like to also say Thank You to Ms Pamela Owens Funeral Coordinator and Her Staff for doing such a Phenomenal Job. From My Nephew Custom Made Coca Cola Red Casket and His Name Design to His Obituary and Flowers and Everything else in between was just One of a Kind and Unique. I want to Thank Ms Owens especially for helping us to have My Nephew's Mass at St Columbaus Catholic Church with Father Andrew as the Celebrant. I used A A Rayner and Son Funeral For my precious and beautiful daughter that was called home last week way to soon. We were treated with respect and dignity. They treated us like family. Took out the time to explain to us every process of the way. They was on time and everything went seamless. I really appreciate the wonderful job they did for me and my family. Very expensive place if you got money $$$$$$$$ very good insurance to conduct bussiness good service fast clean if you can afford it for your family member plain and simple you better have good insurance to deal with this company not for the poor I think

The best customer service ever! From the time that they picked up my mother’s body from our home until the burial, this place was wonderful! We used them 20 years ago for my father and now my mother! Thanks to everyone at A A Rayner!

My family paid for bigger space and didn’t receive it, then they took grandma to the church which was like 100 degrees. I would NEVER refer anyone here. Customer service is horrible

I've been very patient with the people there at Smith & Thomas we paid in $$ cash we just ask for cremation. This has been the worst slowest unprofessional experience ever ‼️

Loved the personal touch. I appreciated being left alone to consider my choice of caskets as I talked to my granddaughter about my choice. They are the best.

I agree with the other post. Staff is rude and when they make mistakes they don’t apologize for their error. Impatient and unprofessional.
