I went to get a refund today for something i had recently bought and no longer needed the item was intact, still in its original packaging even had the price tags on it, i had the receipt and everything, The item cost me £3 and they wanted to deduct 20% of the price to return it, i didn’t contest anything because we’re talking about a £3 item but left the store very upset with their customer service and i will definitely not come back, because of 60p ( return charge) they have now lost a local customer. AVOID THIS SHOP.

Can not recommend AP. Hardware store enough A++++++++++ Such great guys nothing is to much for them. They have helped me tremendously by delivering compost and other household items to me as I’m housebound due to mobility issues so can’t thank theses wonderful guys enough. Came in today with an issue with our dishwasher leaking and had a leak underneath the sink. I've got no knowledge of plumbing and came in with only photos of the issues. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, suggesting a range of options. All is sorted and I'm over the moon, couldn't thank this place enough for their excellent service.

This is EVERYTHING you want a local hardware shop to be! Friendly, understanding, helpful, and an owner with loads of experience. I'd just got in a lot of 2nd hand furniture and he let me try different-sized screws and return which ones didn't work, ordered stuff in, did absolutely everything to help. Great prices too.

I love this place! It's always well stocked and I can't praise the the owners enough. They are always very helpful and very knowledgeable about the stock they sell. Being a novice at decorating and other do-it-yoursef techniques, they have been happy to give me tips and advice, which has been great.

Lovely pair of gentlemen running this excellent LOCAL hardware store. Really well stocked. Plenty of advice and help available. Easy enough parking outside….free. Open early at 8 am. Highly recommended
