We had a leak and called several roofing companies for bids. A Step Above sent a gentleman to inspect our roof and of all who bid this gentleman's inspection obviously was far more detailed and complete than any of the other bidders. A Step Above Roofing Company's bid was not the lowest but they went into a detailed explanation, we are very knowledgable of home maintenance and do a great deal of it ourselves so this was much appreciated by us. They answered all our questions in full and being retired military, police, and just old they gave us a reduction in their bid. A Step Above Roofing showed up each day they said they would be here and with one exception was here every day working diligently on our roof. Once they got into the job they discovered a couple of other issues and brought them to our attention. We have a large roof and we just didn't want to put out the goodly amount of money it would have cost to entirely redo our existing roof. It ended up we had the rear (most exposure to the sun and facing south) portion of our roof redone paying extra to have a double underlayment installed. They had to replace over 200 broken tiles. On a day they were not scheduled to work here we had a super intense rain. The foreman, who was on site daily, showed up with his crew and spread tarps over our rear roof finishing the last tarp installation in a good amount of rain downfall. They no sooner completed the job than we got an extremely heavy and intense rain but had no leads because of their pro action and installing those tarps. They inspected the roof and then inside our attic, both the foreman and one of his workers, independently but could not locate the leak. Then they came back again and together inspected the attic but again were unable to locate the leak. Once they removed the tile from the roof they quickly discovered the leak and fixed it immediately. Throughout there work on our roof they treated our home with respect, cleaned up at the end as if they had never been here. They were all very polite, courteous, and quick to respond to our requests. The entire company was a very pleasant company to deal with. We would recommend A Step Above Roofing with no reservations and will use them again the next time we have a roofing problem. They truly live up to their company's name - A STEP ABOVE!!!!!

I wish I could give ASAI 10 stars because they are excellent and deserve it! My roof was leaking into upstairs bedroom. I contacted 3 roofers for inspection and quotes. ASAI immediately responded and scheduled an inspection. The other 2, I was not impressed at all. Jeremie contacted me and gave a fair quote to repair the flat roof with an honest recommendation that underlayment on tile portion exceeded it's life expectancy and showed some signs of water damage. Jeremie provided an overall quote for the entire roof repair which was very reasonable and we decided to go for complete repair. We also decided to replace HVAC units which were old. ASAI also has an HVAC division and I liked having one company coordinating the entire project. Chris was the contact for the HVAC and he was excellent. The old units were removed and new ones installed in 2 days! Marina who is outstanding, coordinated the scheduling, communicated with me constantly to provide updates and the crew was here everyday working. ASAI Foreman, Juan was here at least every other day to check the repair status and Jeremie also came to the house to check the progress. The project was completed on schedule. There were numerous members of the ASAI crew who I don't know their names but would like to thank them all for their hard work. I can't say enough about how excellent ASAI is and I would highly recommend them!

I'm extremely satisfied with A Step Above Roofing company. I received quotes from three roofing companies and chose this company to complete the job. They are professional, courteous, upfront and reasonably priced. When I spoke to Jeremy (owner), he went over the quote and took the time to explain what needed to be repaired. He was genuine, honest, to the point and didn't pressure me to choose them for the job. He graciously thanked me and said to call if I had further questions. His workers showed up about 5 mins early (which is on-time in my book). The head foreman introduced himself and asked to have access to my back yard, in case any tiles or debris fell into the yard. It took them approximately 4 hours (as he said it would) and cleaned up the perimeter surrounding my home before leaving. The office staff, Marina in particular, was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. She was very patient when I needed to reschedule and found a day and time that worked for my schedule. This was the icing on the cake...when Marina sent me the invoice via email, she included photos of the work that was completed on my roof, Wow! That saved me from taking a ladder to the roof to see what was done. A very nice touch, I might say. Their company name most definitely suits them. Very responsive and reasonably priced! My house has 1 AC only; the unit outside was 7 years old while the internal unit was 20+ years old and was still using the old R22 freon. After spending most of Thursday night without AC, I decided to call their 24 hour HVAC emergency # early Friday morning just before 6am. Keep in mind daytime highs were around 115 at this time. Chris answered, reviewed their schedule for the day, called me back and told me he's on his way...he was there at 7am. Earlier I called a couple other 24/7 AC repair companies; one couldn't get me in to take a look until 4pm and the other went to voicemail. Chris told me the compressor failed, they'd need to replace both my inside and outside units, and would be in touch to schedule the install. "Would I need to go another night (maybe more) without AC" was what I was thinking at this point, but those thoughts were quickly squashed for the better. I received a call from Jeremie (the owner) later that morning, and he said they could do the install THAT DAY at 3pm. I was told to expect roughly 4 to 6 hours for them to complete the install; it took them at most 3.5. Jeremie then followed up after the install to make sure everything was working properly. Thank you Chris, Jeremie and A Step Above for addressing my situation quickly and making me feel like a VIP!

I found Jeremie's family run business and based upon the 5 star reviews, decided to obtain a quote from them to repair a roof leak and broken tile (caused by the improper installation of solar panels). Got a call back within 48 hours to schedule an estimate, and had the repairs done within a week (while I still wait to get a response from the solar company after a month of numerous calls, voice mails, and emails.). Jeremie was friendly, respectful, and professional, taking the time in explaining what he discovered during the inspection, what possibly caused the problems, and offered several solutions to correct the problems. Everyone who I had interacted with at A Step Above treated me as if I was a friend/family and as an important part of their business!

I am very disappointed with this company. I called them for a roof fixing estimate and they visited to my home. They did a roof inspection and called me twice at that time and tried to sell me service for air condition electric problem fixing along with a roof. When they finished inspection they promised to send an estimate for the next day. I did not get it and call them. Lady told that someone will contact me. I got a call and they stated that they need more inspection and need to get in to the house. It was a surprise to me because they did not mentioned about it before. I offer them to contact my management company but they refuse that and said the house should be open for them at the inspection day. I have a negative impression about this company.

I have used A Step Above twice for general roof repairs/inspection. We originally used them back in 2015 and I appreciated their candor about the roof and that they didn’t try and upsell us on something we didn’t need. Because of the impression they made, we decided to use them again for an inspection and cleaning before we put our house on the market. They made us feel confident that we would have no surprises when the home sale inspection happens. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I called this company because of their reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Prompt, polite, and professional. From owner to his sons and employees I was impressed with their attention to detail, cleanliness and feedback on what they intended to do and what they did. Providing pictures of before and after was impressive. I've already told my best friend in LV how great a job they did and how easy they were to work with. 5 stars aren't enough.

We contacted A Step Above regarding a roof leak. They responded quickly and set up an appointment to give us an estimate. Jeremie provided us with an honest estimate and showed us the pictures of where our problems were located. Amazingly, they were out within one week to fix the roof. I am very happy with their response and service and will call them again when needed.

From the initial estimate to the completed roof repair A step above was always on-time. We were given several options on the repair or replacement. Once scheduled our repair of two large areas was completed in one day. We would recommend A step above roofing to anyone looking for a competent and professional company in the roofing business.
