In a world of impersonal chain pharmacies, I dreaded dealing with the inevitable insurance, refill, and out of stock issues with my maintenance medications each month. They are rather serious medications (2 different prescriptions to control seizures), something that never seemed to prompt urgency from Walgreens. I switched to Abacus and cannot recommend them enough. They are family run, know customers by name, and truly care about your health. They voluntarily deal with my insurance and proactively fill / order my specialty medications, which Walgreens would NEVER do. Shoutout to the caring and lovely staff who make a daunting process seamless!

I was so happy going to this nice small independent pharmacy and getting away from thy huge chains. THAT WAS UNTIL they rudely and abruptly told me to take my business elsewhere. They told me that I, ME PERSONALLY, was taking money from them because my insurance company "paid them too little" to make helping me stay alive worth it. I was SHOCKED that I would be treated in such a calloused manner. I will NEVER step in this place again. Let's hope you do not have to be told that you are not profitable enough to be bothered with.

The rating is for COVID safety - not product or service. I spend a good 5 minutes browsing here before realizing the pharmacist was working away without a mask, doors to the store completely shut. Really frustrating to see them blatantly ignoring their own mask policy - I would avoid if you’re careful about avoiding unmasked people indoors.

I hope this awful place goes out of business. They sell ***COUNTERFEIT/FAKE/ KNOCK OFF product*** (that they're probably buying off amazon for cheap or god knows where else) and refuse to refund it...all the while never denying the product is indeed fake (which it is, confirmed). Bad business. STAY AWAY!

This is the best pharmacy that I’ve ever been to! The customer service is stellar. It’s incredibly clean and well stocked. Everything is well organized. The owner is super nice and the staff as well! They have everything that you would need as well!! I highly recommend them.

This place is really amazing! My friend was in serious need of some bandages and they were closed and opened the door for us!!!! And made sure my friend had everything she needed before she could get to the doctor! Really undeniable customer service and great prices!!!!

I love this place. It's so clean and put together. Its like a gallery. Lol. The people are so nice. The pharmacist is so great. He calls in my refills for me and puts up with my many paranoid questions about my meds. I love going in here.

Fell off my skateboard on 2nd ave and walked in here to get some bandaids. The woman working there patched me up with some disinfectant, extremely kind and helpful, 10/10 would fall off skateboard again and get patched up here.

Abacus gives the best service ever and I am so grateful to have the pharmacy down the street from me! Both pharmacists have gone out of their way to help me out and the people at the register are equally as lovely and helpful.

Love this pharmacy! Friendly staff, feels like family rather than going to some chain. They know me when I come in and always get my meds ready very fast, and let me know when my refills are about to expire. Highly recommend.

I transferred here from cvs and never looked back. This small pharmacy has everything I need. The male pharmacist helped me get all my scripts at the same time rather than scattered throughout the month. Love it here!

Honestly, one of the best pharmacies I’ve ever been to in New York. Nothing too complicated, just perfect. Especially the employees, the best you can possibly get in the area (especially the cute one)
