"Went there for a cup of coffee"
"Earlier today, I went to order a decaf oat latte and a salted caramel stuffed cookie"
"While the cookie itself was tasty, you could not taste the stuffing in the stuffed cookies it just tasted like a thick chocolate chip cookie which was disappointing"
"Located beside Reds, Abbey's Bakehouse offers a variety of cookies and tarts for a fair price"
Yesterday (September 6 at around noon), I ordered one tea and one cookie. The total came to almost $10. My mother said to me (since I was paying), "Oh, that is expensive!" I was happy to pay for it, since my mother would be drinking the tea. The cashier took this comment personally. She offered me the receipt for the tea and cookie, which I declined. She then placed the receipt in front of me anyway, and said, "Here is your order itemized so you can see what you're paying for." She went to the back to make the tea, and when she came back, my mother explained to her that her comment was not something personally directed at her, since as a cashier, she does not set the pricing. She was simply making the comment that 1 tea and 1 small cookie for $10 is expensive. We wish we had told her to refund us, instead of taking the items. The cookie was not very good. And the tea bag burst in the hot water, so she couldn't drink it anyway. Mediocre food served with awful customer service, while being overpriced?? No thanks!!! Zero stars out of five. **We would NOT recommend this place.**
Went there for a cup of coffee. It was almost the closing time, i asked for a regular coffee and my barista was so rude and unwelcoming. I wonder how such people get hired at the first place. I mean I get the point the you guys have to close but a smile and welcoming attitude won’t hurt. And the coffee was not good! I went back to get more sugar there was a guy this time, I asked for more sugar and he was so polite and welcoming. It’s my humble request to please train such people, if you cannot be nice and welcoming towards your customers then pls find work in another industry. I was really excited to grab my cup of coffee , but unfortunately it didn’t go well for me! Although the cafe and restaurant is amazing l! Loved the vibes!!
Earlier today, I went to order a decaf oat latte and a salted caramel stuffed cookie. The cashier informed me that they don't have decaf... However, two days ago, I ordered the same two items and was served by a nice gentleman. He even made sure that my latte was decaf. Today, the cashier kept repeating that they don't have decaf with no further explanation and stated "Oh maybe, they had decaf two days ago". She did not even bother to check if they ran out of decaf or offer me any other drinks. The service at this location differs as it is not the same cashier every time. I recommend getting your latte and pastries elsewhere.

While the cookie itself was tasty, you could not taste the stuffing in the stuffed cookies it just tasted like a thick chocolate chip cookie which was disappointing. It was nice but if I was just going to get a chocolate chip cookie I wouldn't want to pay that price without the stuffing. I got the salted caramel and only tasted the salt and chocolate and my daughter had the butter tart stuffed chocolate chip cookie and she said all she tasted was chocolate chips and no butter tart

Located beside Reds, Abbey's Bakehouse offers a variety of cookies and tarts for a fair price. I got the salted caramel cookie and it had a nice balance between salty and sweet. The cookie had a crispy outer layer and a super soft and chewy base. The raspberry tart was not overwhelmingly sweet although the crust was slightly dry.
They only have one flavour in latte, that too they serve warm, not hot. When i asked for hot coffee, they said that they've measured it with a thermometer, and its hot, wth.

It's good but not great. The cookies are decadent which is a taste I'm not the biggest fan of. Decadent is very rich dark chocolate. I'm not really a fan of that. The butter tart cookie was very good though.
Excellent service, very fresh cookies and tarts, amazingly brewed coffee. Definitely recommend it.

I was shocked at the amount that I was given in the cup. I thought it was a joke when it was handed to me. Way over priced, embarassing.
Had the most amazing raspberry buttertart! The crust was amazing and it wasn't too sweet. Plus the customer service was amazing
