As local parks go generally really good. Its a vital facility for locals. However the maintenance on apparatus could be improved and general cleaning of the park. Tho i do also think our community shouldn't leave rubbish or allow dogs to fowl if you dont plan on picking it up. The climbing frame missing step is a disgrace and needs rectifiying asap i saw 2 kids fall yesterday really hurt them id take leagal action if were my child. Worth a visit for sure.

Good all around park! Tennis courts, baby area, young toddler, more confident toddler to pre school age - equipment all suits! And close to Leyton midland Station, and a sainsburys local to pick up bits. Also give a plug in to the bible store right on the corner as you come out of the station, although we didn't visit it. It was a really really good park for everyone. Neighbourhood trash here and there but most parts is pretty clean. Good park!

Nestled between a residential area and a petrol station, Abbotts park provides a breath of... air in the neighborhood. A number of tennis courts and shoddy children's playgrounds. Saw a dead fox carcass bloating peacefully in the bushes next to festive large family midday drinking and yelling at their kids party. Got offered drugs by youths on scooters rather immediately despite tending to an infant.

Was a much better park when berney was about and looking after the park and people in their. Now it's just about flipping money from tennis and kids park still the same and hasn't changed for the last ten years. Think Brooks Farm which is 4min walk is more better due to has everything but tennis so they cater for the people and has a farm even more off a bouns.

  • Sanober Taj

Lovely little park. Great for families with small children. Four all weather tennis courts which are closed currently due to the lockdown. Been using this park for 30 years plus. A little gem in the heart of leyton. Quiet in the mornings and late afternoon. Used to have a very Friendly park keeper but sadly replaced a few years back with cctv cameras .

Lots of space to do different activities with young people, with a seesaw, climbing frames, swings, zip line, slides and a tunnel. There is also a generous amount of open grass space, tennis courts and seating. Accessibility is good with parking (permitted) in the surrounding roads, with charging points for EVs too, and local buses also service the park.

  • Nabz

Very underrated park. Loads of things to play with for kids and lot of grass area. They have basketball court and parking is free on Sundays or permit holders during week. Benches with tables scattered around. Situated in the side streets of Leyton, this park is very underrated. Will be visiting again very soon as kids had a great time.

  • Tonya Carroll

Great play area for kids and adults in Leyton. A reasonable amount of kids play structures and swings. Many sitting benches spread around the park. Football play area and lawn tennis courts plus table tennis table. 5 mins or so walk from Leyton Midlands station. About 10 to 15mins walk from Bakers Arms. Riding much less.

  • Ituare Omodiagbe

A very small but warm park. Outdoor gym available for free. Tennis courts also available but you need to book before use. Nice place to chill out with or without family. Been going here for years never seen or had A problem- so I consider it safe. Ok to walk your dog around. Jogging is allowed here as well. Do recommend.

  • Novokid

Public table tennis tables (need to bring your own balls and paddles/bats). Lots of climbing equipment for kids of all ages as well as small swings for babies. Lots of benches and places to sit down. Football court. Two tennis courts. Lots of open space and greenery, great for sports like football, rounders, cricket etc

  • Greg Veit

A typically tiny Leyton recreation space that tries to cram in everything from shady picnic space, outdoor gym, tennis, more tennis and even more tennis, a big children's play area and an open area of grass where dog owners risk a fine by exercising their dogs against draconian but mostly unenforced council regulations.

  • Saad Bhuta

Perfect for an early morning stroll with the baby. Nice and quiet, just what the baby needs for her morning nap. Good facilities, nice and clean toilets, tennis courts and exercise equipment. I can see myself coming here with my child as she grows older. Hopefully good memories with daddy she can look back on

  • Kristina Kravcuka

Good park for families and kids. Tennis courts and kids playground are handful. Council really have to work on opening toilet facilities over there as kids and adults have no choice as make their need in front of public or in bushes which is kind of disgusting in terms of smell and overall appearance.

  • Dan

Not a bad park. One of the best relaxing places in Leyton. Small, but a good place to take kids. Lots of things to do from toddler age upwards. Great climbing frame for little ones. There's some tennis courts and outdoor gym equipment. Usually it's not too busy but not quiet either.

  • Muhammad

Ever since they upgraded the football pitch, it is amazing, and for people that like to play basketball, there is now space to do so. The grass has been undeniably upgraded as it used to rip a lot and now you have a better reason to bring your football boots to the pitch.

  • WENDY COLLINGTON

Every one smiling and walking the dogs. Very friendly park. Small and you can walking around for good exercises plus some standard exercise equipment is there for you enjoyment. A lot of amenities are available in the area. Hot food and coffee by the park entrance, bless

  • peruse aclip1234

Thoroughly enjoyed it With the shorties. they absolutely loved it and the baby loved the slide. She kept singing Running Up That Hill as she ran to the top of this slide, absolutely funny. We're definitely going back again and certainly recommend it to anyone.

  • craig Brewer

Lots of empty alcohol bottles strewn across the grass by the picnic tables, and severely uneven path between grassed area and play area. Several adults and children fell over because of this. Otherwise quite a pleasurable afternoon out with the family.

  • Steve Codrington

Used the outdoor table tennis table with friends, it was great fun and would have been much better but for the wind then I met some friends on the tennis court that I hadn't seen for over 10years. Had a fantastic time as well on the tennis courts.

  • Inessa A

Very nice park with lots of activities for different ages: baby', toddler, elder, adults. Gym facilities in the corner of the park nice addition for parents with kids. Downside- lot's of mud after rain. No toilet. Please reopen toilets.

  • Muhammad Naseer

Always pleasure to visit this park . Full of fun. This time, some rough people and some arguments were seen. Ice cream van out side the park is very good and seller is very polite and friendly. 1st time seen van selling Kulfi. Brilliant

  • Craig Brewer

Lots of discarded alcohol bottles strewn about the grass by the picnic tables. Also a rather dangerous dip in the ground between the grassed area and the playground. Several adults and children fell in my presence.

  • Ceri and Simona

Great little park for kids play area. There is also a large open grass area, an outdoor gym, a safe enclosed area for dogs, tennis courts and a table tennis table. Usually busy with families and has a good vibe.

  • Ross Jennings

Decent tennis courts but no working facilities like toilets or water fountain is an ongoing problem. Also people booking courts and not showing up is pretty poor form. All four courts empty despite being booked.

  • Alex William

Fantastic space! Great tennis courts and amazing park for kids! They have also added a basketball and great football pitch which is brilliant! Perky Blenders is just round the corner if you want a great coffee

  • Mayuri Takke

Very good and spacious park... Tennis court area... Jogging or walking track... Work out area... Kids play area is too good... Especially the ropeway swing is interesting... Dogs park.. clean n safe ...

  • Katherine Foreman

I have lived here 30 years, and still love walking through when I go shopping. Also I love too see the children enjoying themselves.Like also too here the birds singing.A lovely place too chill in out.

  • Haks 86

A fairly large park. There's an area suited to younger kids, as well as areas for older kids. Tennis court available and rest rooms too. Lots of grass to have a run around on. Close to a few shops.

  • Anne Mitchell

Small square park. Children's recreation ground, tennis courts, outdoor gym. Open space, perimeter path, some benches. Beautiful mature trees. Some nice shrubs. A peaceful amenity for local people.

  • Hina Azam

Quite big park, having lots of swings and play area for different ages including babies, children and grown up(gym).. Some of the stuff is being depreciate.. need some attention of the authority..

  • Abdul B

Nice little park in Leyton, the kids always enjoy visiting. In particular the rope swing device just outside the playground! A Perky Blenders Coffee shop is just round the corner as a nice bonus!

  • Eliška Rozkovcová

A small lovely park, just lots of food waste on the floor so not ideal for a dog walks
Dog-friendliness
As mentioned above, if your dog is greedy, avoid as you’d stop every few metres

  • Chris Bone

Almost died here as a toddler in the early 90s. My cousin also told me the water fountain had a setting for lemonade but that was a lie apparently. Still told my own children the same thing.

  • Robert Sommerville

Why are the same people allowed to spring the lock on Court 3&4. This has been ongoing for a week now every one else waiting for March 29th. Can you explain this in your reply thanks.

  • Trelise Stewart

Lots to do in this park. I would have given it 5 stars but the zip line was broke.
Playground
Lots to do. The toddler area is kind of separate to the rest of the park.

  • Christine Lee

Busy little park. Popular Tennis Courts, kids areas, workout station and runaround grass. Plenty of seating with picnic area, three entrances. Dog walkers. Clean and tidy.

  • King'sTouch

Friend people, clean and alot of play equipment for kids also exercise equipment for adults, simple to use, space for football, tennis and other games if you wish

  • Mohsin V (MV)

Multiple children stepping in dog mess all around the park. More signs need to put up around the park to make dog owners aware and park management to be aware!

  • Carol Grant

The park has a lot to offer just about everyone. It is kept nice and clean. Exercise equipments are in very good working condition. Could use a public toilet.

  • Mohammad Fiyaz Khaliq

It is an amazing park but is sometimes a bit difficult to enjoy the park because it's to busy.May I add that there should be various activities to play with.

  • mike eames

Very nice small park having a small grassed area but the tennis courts and exercise and play areas make up for it. Kept very clean hardly any litter there.

  • M D

Decent park, a lot of weird people however so not a safe place to leave the kids without keeping and consistent eye on them. Also slide is a bit dangerous.

  • Kamran Ahmed

Nice local park to keep kids busy and a big open space for walks or to have a kick around with a ball. Also has a indoor football area and tennis courts.

  • Katy Tiktoklover

Liked it although would like it if there were more tables with benches! New wood would be great or maybe a different material that doesn't get wet :)
