I booked the car via Costco travel about one month before I travel. After I showed up at the Alamo rental car booth at Seville train station, they told me I need to have an international driver license before they can proceed the rental procedures. I told them nobody informed me I need an international driver license for this booking. But they insisted it is a policy in Spain. I told them I had rent a car in Europe for many times and in different countries, they all accepted US driver license. Only this Alamo rental had a different policy than other rental car companies!? Then I have to give up and rent the car with a much higher price from Sixt rental car. They don’t need an International driver license. I don’t understand this policy. They never showed me anything in writing or by email. I guess maybe we booked the car too cheap at Costco travel, they don’t want to release the car. I hope someone can give me an answer and explain what policy it is. Very bad experience with Alamo, no information, no alternative solution, just very rude staff- Carlo!

Nos llamaron cuando estábamos en el AVE Madrid Sevilla para comunicarnos que nos anulaban la reserva que habíamos realizado unos dos meses antes, el motivo que les había fallado un camión de coches y que no tenían coches para darnos. Cuando llegamos a Sevilla, fuimos a reclamar y nos pusimos en una cola muy grande de personas que les pasaba lo mismo que a nsostros, total que explicamos nuesta situación a la persona que nos atendió, nos aconsejó ir a comer mientras ellos gestionaban las entregas de los coches, se quedaron nuestro número de teléfono y al poco, aún no habíamos acabado de comer, nos dieron un coche superior al que habíamos reservado. El retorno del coche, fue perfecto. Total que a pesar del susto que nos dieron, estamos encantados con. el trato y la empatia del personal del Alamo/Enterprise (son los mismos). Seguro que repetimos.

I usually don't trust too much the car renting agencies, but I had an excellent service at Alamo at the Sevilla train station. 1/ The price was very good. 2/ Nobody tried to force me to take non-sense extra insurances. 3/ More important : they accepted my DEBIT card without any problem. I had also a CREDIT card (but no premium), I preferred to use the DEBIT Premium one, and they were completely ok with this, workout discussion or argument. 4/ the car was 8.000 kms only, in very good condition. I asked for a little extra time (4 hours), they were ok for only 10€, and in the end I didn't even pay these 10€ because I had left more gas in the car than when I picked it up. All together an excellent experience... (...and I rarely take time to leave a positive reference like this one on Google).

A pesar de ciertas malas reseñas, decidí darle una oportunidad y alquilar con ellos. He alquilado dos veces ya con ellos y la verdad es que estoy muy contento con haber tomado la decisión: 1) Reservar por la web y proporcionar los datos hace todo el proceso muy rápido, ya que sólo tienes que presentarte el día de la reserva y que te den las llaves. 2) La entrega del coche es muy sencilla y tienen flexibilidad. Por un inconveniente me retrasé 30min de la hora pero no hubo ningún problema. 3) La devolución de la fianza se hace de forma súper efectiva y rápida. 4) Los coches de categoría "económicos: seat ibiza o similar" cumplen con lo que muestran, muy buenos coches y bien cuidados. Si es tu primera vez alquilando, lo recomiendo bastante.

We had a quick and easy car collection experience at Alamo Santa Justa. We were served by Javier, who answered all of our questions enthusiastically and we were on the road in far less time than expected. The car’s model was different to the one we had selected, but it was of similar size and capabilities, and we were informed that this was possible when we first booked. If arriving by taxi, tell them that you are going to rent a car at Alamo and they will drop you right at the office.

A destacar la rapidez, amabilidad y calidad del servicio. A pesar de hacer la reserva a través de Ryanair (muy buen precio), se me ofreció la posibilidad de hacer el check-in antes de llegar y todo fue de maravilla. Recibí un coche mejor del esperado y el viaje a Portugal se me hizo muy fácil. Una vez en el lugar, Antonio y otro colega suyo se encargaron de explicar todo con detalle para que uno vaya con toda tranquilidad. Devolución del cargo temporal básicamente inmediata, gracias!

Do not rent a car from here. They are a fraud company and the girl who is the manager here is terrible. She ruined our trip by not giving us the car we reserved months in advance. She is very rude. They said because i dont have an internariona license, but i rented the car from Avis next door without it. They didnt have cars and instead of helping, they sent us away. Filed a complaint with expedia and will continue to file until something is done. Dont rent car from them

Alquilamos un coche de 7 plazas para un viaje y lo teniamos reservado y pagado desde 1 mes antes de la fecha del evento. El mismo dia del viaje nos dicen que no tienen coche de 7 plazas y que no nos pueden devolver el dinero. Ofrecen la posibilidad de enviar a un compañero a Huelva a recoger un coche de esas características lo que conlleva perder un dia de nuestro viaje. Por suspuesto que tendrán su correspondiente reclamación en consumo nada recomendable.

the company misinformed us about insurance when booking the car and tried to push us to pay for a damage within the insurance limit. We explicitly checked the limit twice when booking, therefore we did not opt for any additional insurance plan. Following an accident they started requesting hundreds of euros (below the insurance limit) and ignored all facts provided by us

Very bad experience, unfriendly employees, one employee claimed that no cars were available, which of course is not true, I found a car online and reserved it, then of course the employee reacted badly and was unfriendly again at the handover. The employees just don't want to work and aren't interested in customers. It's a shame for such a supposedly good company.

Muy Peligroso el sistema Navegador que tienen instalado, da indicaciones erroneas y es muy probable que acabe en accidente , todo un peligro.para la via publica. Tarifas repletas de letras pequeñas y cobros extras , prepara a pagar minimo un 50% mas del precio que consigas reservar, la atencion del personal bastante buena, amable y cordial, por eso le doy 3*

We made a reservation days ahead and when we arrived to pick up the car we were told that they won’t give us a car without international drivers permit which we didn’t have. They said that American DL and passport aren’t enough. We ended up renting a car from another agency next to Alamo - they didn’t have a problem with American passport and American DL.

Pésimo servicio. Llegamos 20 minutos antes de la hora establecida de recogida de coche y una hora y media después aún no tenemos el coche… Llegamos tarde a una comida y la empresa se excusa diciendo que no tienen suficientes coches y es problema de la página web… Hay 20 personas esperando coches y la empresa no da ningún tipo de solución. Inaceptable!

Mi experiencia ha sido muy buena, me atendió Álvaro en la estación de Sana Justa y tuve durante mis días de alquiler un coche superior al que había alquilado, por el mismo precio. Me explico todo el contrato y condiciones perfectamente. Lo contraté por teléfono y tuve muy buenas condiciones económicas en el alquiler. Recomiendo esta empresa.

Son unos incompetentes , tratan con la punta del pie a los clientes,solo les interesa cobrar y cobrar , cuando tienen q devolver un importe X algo como por no cumplir con un alquiler por no tener coches disponibles no te atienden ,no se hacen responsables ,echa la culpa unos a los otros y tu sin tu dinero , no lo aconsejo para nada

Worst company ever!! Do not rent with them!! They charged me almost 370 euros 2 months after the return of the car saying the car was damaged, and they dont answer my e mails. Never heard of anything before, they sent me an e mail saying they will take my money. Of course I live abroad, not in Spain. If I could I would put 0 star.

Inmejorable la experiencia con vosotros, sin duda volveré a repetir en futuras ocasiones y lo recomendaré a amigos . Lo mejor de todo por encima del precio , el trato por parte del personal tanto en el contacto telefónico como en el directo en la estación de santa justa y en el aeropuerto de Sevilla, muy amables gracias.

The Renault 3008 that we rented drove very well, and the pickup and drop off were quick and - compared to experiences we've had with other rental car agencies - relatively painless. Rocío and Alejandro treated us very well. Due to the ease of renting in Panama (last month) and Spain, we will continue to rent from Alamo.

Pasé por este sitio Discovercar para alquilar un vehículo. el presente no fue el esperado pero se mantuvo en la misma categoría. la recogida requirió una larga espera (25 minutos de espera sin que nadie me viera....) la devolución (realizada por Carlos) fue bien. Primer alquiler con esta empresa.

Poor sense of service. No possibility to pay with credit card held by someone else than the driver. Extra price to return car at the airport whereas cars are being driven by staff between rental offices to meet demand. Easily blames customers. Last time for me with Alamo and its partners.

Hasta ahora no tuvimos problemas ,alquilamos por doyouapain y la pagina nos dio el seguro , pero al llegar al mostrador nos dicen que no estaba , que eso es de la pagina y ellos no se hacen responsables , nos ofrecieron seguro completo pero ya habiamos contratado, ojo al piojo!

Alquile una furgoneta mediana a través de Internet por un precio y con el seguro supuestamente total y cuando voy a recoger el vehículo , Hertz, me dicen que ellos no reconocen esa aseguradora y tengo que hacer un nuevo seguro y el depósito de combustible le faltaba 1/4

We had really good service from Alamo in Seville. They swapped out our car for a slightly larger one without fuss (or charge) after we had driven back to the hotel to discover the bags and the children didn't fit. Drop off progress very easy. Friendly.

We had a great experience with the beautiful red rental cabrio car from Alamo! Alejandro and Wendy gave us a great service, they were very kind and helpful. It was a lovely beginning and end of our day trip to Granada. We will recommand Alamo Sevilla!

Alquilamos en Santa Justa Sevilla. Muy amables en la entrega. Nos solucionaron en Cádiz un pequeño problema del coche, cambiándolo por otro. El dinero de la fianza nos lo devolvieron el mismo día que dejamos el coche. Muy bien.

Flawless experience with alamo / entreprise rentacar (apparently shared vehicle fleet for both companies at Sevilla Santa Justa). Perfect and recent car (got to love the Seat!), quick pickup and dropoff.

Check car ( body, tires, window, interior) before you take from their lot. They charge hundreds of euros for small damage which they try to find when you returning car.

A finales de Julio devolvimos un coche con el que pasamos un mes entero y en la entrega fue todo genial. Muy recomendable! Y el personal muy profesional y amable.
