My 2 sisters and I all got bracelets (1 ancklet) here almost 1 month ago. Our experience in the store was great considering we were walk-in’s. However, for the amount of money we spent, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. This is not quality jewelry. Not even a month and the charm on mine is completely tarnished. I have other permanent bracelets that were less expensive, that I’ve had almost a year and they look better than the ones I got from this store early November. They didn’t have much of a selection when it came to the charms and us wanting 3 of the same, 1 in rose gold. We went with the North Star charm at the associates suggestion. All 3 of us have been poked by this tiny charm in the most uncomfortable, annoying ways. We don’t want to take them off, as they are meaningful to us and they were expensive. We’re extremely disappointed at the cheap quality. None of us live in Chicago, so we wouldn’t go back anyway. Please read the reviews, and save your money! I wish I had.

Love the bracelet and the girl who welded ours was so sweet. The lady who attended us though really left much to be desired. I came in and no drink was offered to me meanwhile I saw most girls in the store being offered one. I’m almost 30, so no excuse about being below the drinking age. My friend and I came in as two minority girls wearing sweats so obviously not our cutest. We went in wanting 14k gold bracelets and even spent a couple hundred each. However the lady attending us just had the most dismissive attitude about helping. Whenever we’d ask questions we felt compelled to APOLOGIZE for asking for help because she always seemed so reluctant. Girl it’s your job, you should be helping especially when we were nothing but nice to you. Work on not being so snooty to paying customers.

Breaks after a couple months, not worth the money!! My experience at the store while getting the bracelet was great, but mine broke and fell off after only 4 months. Since I had a good initial experience there I figured they would replace my bracelet for me, but when I got there they said their bracelets actually only last a couple months to year and wouldn't replace it. They offered me 25% off, but why would I spend over $100 on another one that is just going to break again. Waste of money and bad customer service. I have heard similar experiences as well. Update: adding this since they responded- they are correct, it was not the welding that broke, it was the bracelet itself, which I would understand if it were a $30 bracelet, but it was over $100 and still terrible quality.

Please do not go here if you’re looking for an actual permanent bracelet/jewelry. At my initial appointment (which was a year ago) I had 3 bracelets welded on. Since then 1 bracelet has fallen off/been re-welded three different times as the manager would not grant me a refund or even an exchange for a stronger bracelet at the same value. The same thing happened twice with my second bracelet. A year later and I have 1 out of the 3 I originally bought. I find this completely ridiculous, especially for the steep price of these pieces ($60-$80 a piece). Please consider going somewhere else if you would like an actual piece of permanent jewelry. 2 stars because they were cute while they lasted and the staff (other than the manager) are kind and helpful

OFF THE CHARTS! I recieved my bracelet and it is GORGEOUS and the clasp is PERFECT! I have NEVER had someone jump through hoops the way you did to get me this bracelet AND then to get the clasp repaired! I'm not even sure who I am speaking to here, I'm assuming Alexandra because I can't imagine anyone but an owner caring as much as this person cared. At one point she said she had "made it her mission to get me the bracelet I so badly wanted in perfect working condition" and she did it with some pretty tough odds I suspect. I had an appointment here yesterday and right off the bat it was a good vibe. My friends and I we’re running a few minutes behind so I called to let them know and the gal who answered the phone was pleasant and understanding. Love the whole experience of picking out your own chains and pendant for either a necklace or bracelets! I chose to wrap one of my bracelets and also got a single one. I mixed and matched and also ended up getting a couple rings and a necklace. Love this place! The staff was so welcoming and kind, I highly recommend for yourself or for a group of gals. I will definitely be back when I’m back home in the Chicago area.

Came across this stunning jewelry store while at a festival on Division Street and what an amazing treat it was! Ended up being the highlight of my weekend I found the most beautiful high quality unique pieces of jewelry. I went in for one necklace and left with 3 and an absolutely gorgeous set of earrings that I had been looking for for years! The staff were so amazing and helpful and it didn't hurt that they greeted me with a glass of wine and a smile. I will be a forever customer of Alexandra Marks. Thank you for an amazing experience!!! You don't come across this quality of product and service these days. Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend went in to get matching bracelets however they did not have the initial I needed in stock for one of the bracelets. They told me they’d expect an order to be placed within a few weeks. They told me two months later it was in stock so I drove an hour to the store just to find out the associate was talking about the wrong charm. It has been 4 months now and they told me to check back in a couple more MONTHS. The completed bracelet was over $500 and my unfinished was over $300. You would think a request from a customer would take a bit more priority than over 4 months with no updates

Such a great place and experience! Staff was very welcoming right upon walking in and gave us water while we chose what bracelets we wanted. Since we had an appointment, we got the bracelet table to ourself to look at which really showed they care about those who book, which we appreciated. Staff was helpful in helping us decide which bracelets we wanted and answered all our questions. Prices are very reasonable, and the welding was fast! Very professional establishment with great people and plenty of options for jewelry, I cannot wait to come back!

My sister, mom, and I ubered here from the magnificent mile and this is our last day in Chicago. We were so excited to get these bracelets to document our yearly girls trip to Chicago. We wanted to come get these bracelets here because of the good reviews but unfortunately our experience wasn't good. We got there and they said they weren't doing anymore walk ins. We came in 3 hours before they closed and no where on the website does it say there is a change that walk ins won't be accepted. We were so sad. Very disappointed in this place

Highly recommend! Never had a better experience than I did with the ladies here at Alexandra Marks ✨ I was greeted as I came in, offered complimentary wine while I waited and was handled with such care when I was taken care of. Lis was very knowledgeable and welcoming as she helped me pick out my permanent bracelets. Sierra was awesome, made the welding process easy and fun. The whole team was great and approachable, I’ll definitely be back for more. A great place for birthday gifts, celebratory treasures or friendship bracelets!

I took my little sister here to her a permanent bracelet as a birthday gift and the whole process from start to finish was so easygoing. I made an online appointment and paid the deposit and when I let them know I couldn’t make it, they were super understanding and help my deposit. They have so many bracelets to choose from in both silver and gold. Everyone was super friendly and the process was seamless. I also browsed around and found a beautiful ring for myself that was super affordable! Definitely recommend this place!

Me and my friend came here during our weekend trip to Chicago to get matching permanent bracelets. It was a very affordable option ($130 for both of us), and there were even less expensive options. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean&nice inside. It was also in a very safe area of Chicago. We even got free glasses of wine while we waited, and were able to walk in with no appointment. It was really a part of our trip we will never forget

I got a permanent bracelet here and it's stayed on and is in perfect condition even though I got it a little over a year ago. This is unfortunate because my boyfriend got it for me but he just broke up with me so now I have a permanent reminder of him....but the quality of the bracelet is amazing and the experience at the store was also amazing. I would 1000% recommend going here!

Me and my friend were greeted right away when we walked in and we were offered wine. They even offered to give us a second cup when we were done. The lady that helped was very helpful and nice!! We felt very welcomed in the store. We had reservations. I love my permanent anklet! Even the lady that welded em on was really nice and friendly. I will be back for sure.

The charm on my bracelet bent 12 hours after purchase and broke after 3 days of wear. $280 and an important memory with my friends gone. I don’t recommend doing something like this if you aren’t local. I’m sure they’d replace or repair, but I live in South Carolina and won’t be back in Chicago anytime soon.

I came in 2 days ago to purchase a necklace for my girlfriend. I was not sure what style she would like but the girls helped me pick out an amazing necklace that she fell in love with! I can’t say enough just how fantastic Alexandra Marks is. I will be a repeat customer for sure!
