The most caring and professional funeral home I have been to. The staff was very professional and understanding from steps A-Z. They had a young man by the name of "Johnathan" who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and really was compassionate about the work being done. It even shocked me to later learn that he was a current mortuary student. I hope that he sticks around to continue to help that business excel because he had a God given gift. I will definitely continue to use and proudly recommend this funeral home to family and friends. My family sincerely thanks you all for the services you provided us.

Unprofessional and very unorganized. Called for weeks only to be strung along about when I will be receiving the death certificate of the deceased.They never followed up on any calls or left messages. When I would call, I was greeted with attitude and the call ended quickly with attitude. I am not an aggressive person, but this company brought the worst out of me from beginning to end. Never doing any more services with them ever again and my family also agrees. The atmosphere here is very stale and depressing. The equipment did not work nor did they attempt to prepare the night before the service. Never again.

We are having my aunt’s viewing. This funeral home is have a business meeting during the viewing in an open room next to the viewing area. This the must unprofessional and insensitive Funeral Home that I have ever been to. After making a complaint about it. They continued with the business meeting with a grieving family. There excuse for having the meeting now is due to the space in the funeral home. And you wonder why we go somewhere else for business. You don’t even respect your own people. #youtriedit. #somuchforrespect

My Aunts didn't look like herself at all.Isnt that the purpose of having a picture of her to make her look as much as herself as possible. I don't know who did her make up but it was blotchy and not the correct foundation for her complexion. The dye from her hair was running down the front of her forehead.and stained her pillow.When her clothes were placed on her it looked like they were in a hurry and just plopped the clothes across the body but didn't bother to adjust anything. There were no obituary for the viewing.

Dignified and wonderful services were held by Angelus for my Aunt's home going. I really enjoyed seeing that we do still have good people to do business with during the time of losing a loved one. I formerly had family members services at Gatling's and Leak & Sons, but I felt a more Genuine connection with the staff at Angelus. I would recommend this Funeral Home to anybody in the Chicago Area or surrounding. AWESOME JOB and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Very RESPECTFUL & DEDICATED staff. I was making funeral arrangements for the first time and I felt the care and sincerity from the staff workers. I would like to give a special thank you Eric and Johnathan for the enormous amount of help and great laughs. Those two really emphasized "letting them handle everything regarding the funeral and me just focusing on grieving and being with my family." I would recommend this to the entire City of Chicago.

The care and respect me and my family received was excellent. I felt welcomed and wanted the moment I step in the doors. This was my first time using Angelus Funeral Home, and I will proudly recommend them to anyone who is in need of professional care. I mean literally every staff member had a dire need to make sure everything was ready and in order for my aunts service. Continue the good work and hope they are around for many generations to come.

Was good overall, they did my brother well but slightly disappointed that we had to illegally park next door and worry about getting towed the entire time because the owner didn't show up with the keys to unlock the gate to his property after expressing to us through my sister in-law to be on time as the viewing would start promptly at 11am, which it did not. All-in-all other than that, we were satisfied.

The absolute most respectful and personalized service I have been to. From start to finish I felt welcomed and like I was truly cared for and apart of their family. I would recommend this funeral home to every person that is looking for a place to entrust. My family thanks the staff especially the two young men who answered every question that I had.
