For our 20th wedding anniversary we spent $8,000 on a tanzanite ring from this store (though the original price was $10,000). The ring cracked within weeks of gentle, sporadic wear. When returned we were told it was our issue despite the store manager admitting 'it was a very soft stone and something as simple as putting on a seatbelt may have cracked the stone". Having bought numerous items from Anthony's I could not be more disappointed. This stone was never fit to be worn as a ring. During the brief period I wore the ring I can recall absolutely no hard knocks. The most tension put on this stone would have been during the resizing Anthony’s did. We threw away a large sum of money and I implore others to avoid this store/brand at all costs. I stress this ring was barely worn. For $8,000 I would expect to proudly wear this ring for years and years. In fact my plan had been to pass this ring onto my daughter. Please avoid this store.

I couldn't recommend Anthonys @ Chermside enough! They were so friendly, helpful, accomodating and excited to be going through the engagement ring process with us. After a bad experience at another jeweller, we turned to Anthonys for some assistance and they were able to help straight away. We had the ring picked out and ordered within a week. We had the diamond within 7 days of that. The engagement ring and wedding band was then custom made within 7 weeks. They were communicative through the entire process and there were no surprises in terms of finances. We also received a lovely book at the end which has all of the details of your custom ring, the stone, cut, clarity etc, value of the ring and the insurance. It is such a nice touch! I am absolutely thrilled with my beautiful new custom made Sapphire ring. James went above and beyond to assist me through the design process of creating a custom piece based around my very particular request of colour and cut of the sapphire. I can’t believe how quickly the team at Anthonys was able to locate the unique stone. I am so pleased with the quality of the make and detailing, and so grateful for the advice James gave me in ensuring the stone was set correctly to allow the colour and clarity to be displayed so brilliantly. His constant communication through the process was fabulous and I am eternally grateful for his assistance in creating such a bespoke, heirloom piece for me. I am absolutely thrilled! If I could give 6/5 stars I would! My partner and I have had the most incredible time with Anthony's purchasing our wedding bands. Where other jewellers were pushing us into buying things quickly that we didn't like, we rocked up and were greeted with someone who actually cared about us and our choices! Boby has been the most amazing person to work with - she was eager to work with me on a very specific band design (which she gave her heart and soul to make happen) and was my advocate every step of the way! She was also super supportive of my partner's choice (where other jewellers tried to upsell him) and made him feel comfortable rather than stressed! I cannot thank Boby and Anthony's enough!

I have previously purchased beautiful diamond rings from Anthonys and I love them. I had decided a couple of weeks previously that they needed a proper clean, and on taking them into Anthonys they discover two loose diamonds. I had these adjusted the same day. I was also on the lookout for possibly pearl earrings with money given to me to celebrate a major birthday. The staff were so helpful and lovely and after three days of searching in indecision and waiting on the product to come from another store, I now have a gorgeous pearl ring instead.
