Was super pleased with the entire process. After having a bad experience with a online florist, I had to rush to get some flowers sent for the same day. I called and spoke to Simone who was very helpful and was able to get the order in before the cut off. The flowers from the photo sent to me are beautiful and the recipient told me that the delivery gentleman was super nice and went over and beyond to help her with them. My loved one is ill and was alone when they were delivered. The gentleman helped her them into the house, unwrapped them and placed them where she was to po ot them. All this without any asking from her. She stated he was just wonderful, so to whom ever that was. THANK YOU! You made a special day even better. I have been a customer of Ashland-Addison since the late 60's, early 70's. Billy who has retired was a young man at that time and as owner always had a friendly and professional operation. I have watched one of the now managers, Zoe, grow up with the company; she is a very beautiful and more than capable person! Trust me, you would wish that this country could talk with them and find out how to operate a great organization such as they have! Flower shop located inside Northwestern Women Aprentice Hospital in downtown Chicago. My brother and sister in law baby boy arrived and wanted to surprise them with a beautiful arrangement of flowers. I called and simply placed my order over the phone. They were so friendly, professional and accommodating. The bouquet was so classic and beautiful! Even the attending physician had to comment on the flowers when she walked in the room, she was in love with the stuffed Llama that was included with arrangement. I had a very nice phone chat with the gentleman at the shop. He was able to take down all the information without my having to repeat anything. Sheffield-Ashland-Addison florist send a beautiful get well bouquet to one of our Board members who is recovering from illness. Almost our entire Board of about 30 people responded with great appreciation for the florist when I forwarded the picture of the bouquet to everyone on the Board. I have used Ashland MANY times and never had a problem - they have always gone above and beyond and delivered what they say they will with exceptional service. In fact there was a problem with this order in that the recipient was away and the address was wrong and they took care to remedy it and will deliver another fresh order when the customer arrives all without being asked - THAT is service with a smile. Ashland Addison Florist was one of the shops recommended to me by the staff at a nearby medical facility. The ordering process was simple, and AAF sent clear communications throughout the process, including order details, an invoice, a photo of the actual bouquet (love this!), and a delivery notification. The recipient sent a photo shortly after delivery, and bouquet exactly matched the photo the florist provided. It was perfect, with colorful, fresh flowers arranged beautifully.

This year I couldn't travel to be with family for the first time, so I sent AshAdd arrangements to my parents and my aunt for Christmas. Both arrangements were beautiful, and used very fresh flowers. The add-on Dinkels bakery cookies were a tasty bonus. I loved that I got a photo of what was delivered (the arrangement looks just like the photo on the website) and that despite ordering the evening of December 23rd, these flowers were delivered the next morning. I had a great experience at Ashland Addison Florist. I visited their design studio on west Fulton in Chicago. They took me through their flower cooler and let me pick my flowers -- and I had a large vase collection to choose from too. Because the recipient was in the neighborhood, they delivered the bouquet about two hours later. It doesn't get better than that. I recommend them for their customer service and patience and flower selection. Added bonus: they have a parking lot.

They had a nice selection of gifts besides flowers. I found the perfect stuffed puppy dogs that looked just like my friend's two dogs. I was very happy that they were in touch with the hospital and found out that my friend had been released much quicker than expected and they changed the delivery to her home. The flowers arrived as requested, fresh and colorful. I have had good experiences using Ashland Addison Florists. The issue that I had with this order was that the stems were cut shorter than I had expected, not allowing them to drape over the vase as they opened. The image shown on the website shows longer stems.

Very kind, quick service. Gorgeous arrangement, and they even sent ME a picture of it so I could see it was fresh and beautiful. They notified me my card was declined so I called. I got someone right away and asked if they could deliver it earlier. She checked for me and was able to get it out right away. Amazing!

Flowers were not delivered as e-mail confirmation indicated. Had to call the floral shop again a few days later to inform them of non-delivery. The floral shop did try to re-send the flowers, but I do not have confirmation from the receipient has actually received. We should not have had to follow up with this.
