Never go to Ashley HomeStore Calgary Store, located at 88 Heritage Gate SE, Calgary, AB T2H 3A7. They charges us an unfair 10% fee of $776.99 (without any product delivery) during Feb - March 2023. It has an unfair company policy written to rip-off customers. Be careful and never purchase from Ashley Canada. Ashley HomeStore Calgary Store, did not deliver the product and charged us $776.99. My wife and I purchased a bed, bedside tables, 2 Twin XL bed boxes and mattress through a salesperson on February 25, 2023. The overall purchase was worth $8662.45 and was scheduled for delivery on March 28, 2023, i.e., after ~1 month of purchase. The salesperson told us to contact him directly for any issues and he gave his number. After 3 days (72 hours), I called salesperson to cancel the mattress and the 2 Twin XL bed boxes. The salesperson said that Ashley Canada has a policy to charge 10% fee for cancelling orders after 48hours. On request, the salesperson mentioned on phone that he will try to remove the mattress unofficially (and I should not tell this to anyone) and let’s connect after a few days. I did not receive any call back from the salesperson. After 10 days of placing purchase order, I received a call from store manager enquiring about the changes we made to our purchase order. We found out, as mentioned by the salesperson on phone that there was an audit, and he will not be able to remove the mattress from the order. I also requested salesperson to remove the bed boxes, which he did (unofficially of course, as I was not charged 10% fee on that), saving us $600. He then sent us the revised sales order which had the amount reduced by $600 As the salesperson mentioned that due to audit, he will not be able to remove the mattress, and I decided to go ahead with the mattress as there was no option but to lose hard earned money in 10% fee. There was no communication until the day of delivery, with any update on availability or unavailability of the items. On the day of delivery, on 28th March, Ashley Canada only sent the bedside table, and mattress. To our surprise there was no bed, and we were told by the delivery person that the bed will come in May (tentatively), which was after 2 months of scheduled delivery. As we wanted the whole set together and not in pieces, we refused to take the delivery of any item and sent the delivery back. Please note that we were never informed of the delay in receiving bed. There was no communication. At that point when my wife called the salesperson and he literately shouted at my wife and told that it is not right that you call me anytime. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. Also note that he mentioned initially that please call him and not the store for any issues and he gave his number in writing on the paper On the same day, on 28th March, my wife and I went to the store and talked to the store manager, and he said that he will take disciplinary action against the salesperson and see if the 10% fee, of $776.99 could be waived. The store manager did not inform us of any action taken against the salesperson for disrespecting my wife and talking with extreme anger, which was threatening to us. I (husband) was on speaker, and I listened to the same. Next day on 29th March, we received a call that the fee of 10% could not be waived and we received an invoice to pay $776.99, which was charged as installation amount. Please note that no item was delivered, and nothing was installed. It is a is false indicator, showing the manipulation the store is doing to charge customers. Now, we are asked to pay $776.99 for products we never received, and which was never installed. We strongly feel that this is a form of cheating and customer is being misguided and charged for product which was never delivered. We feel that we should get our hard-earned money back of $776.99 and this practice of Ashley Canada store should be stopped.

WORST EXPERIENCE..WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY HERITAGE AGAIN WONT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY. PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF FROM HUMILIATION AND EMBARRASMENT ON 15 th of August i went to Ashley Furniture store of an address 80 Heritage drive Calgary Alberta . The sales rep Marco has entertained us along with another sales rep named Vinay. We purchased a Dining table set from there on Ashley financing. The price of that exact set on Furniture Extreme was listed fir 999$ CAD. We asked them and they promised to price match the Table as well as they said the will give 25% of the difference between the price on tip of it. We were exited for the new dining table and we finalised the deal and came back. Today i called again as i saw on the invoice that the price of 999$ was not mentioned anywhere. So i called the store again. The sales rep named JJ picked up the phone i told him about our deal yesterday he first of all did not wanted to listen to us and was doing cross talking and continuously he was saying that you should come on Friday and talk to Vinay and Marco. When i said to him that you should listen to me he hung up the phone. I called him again and said that he should reconfirm it with Vinay and Marco over the phone as we are his customers . He dialled the call to Vinay on his personal number and spoke to him Vinay told him about our deal. He then spoke to me and said ok Sir i will update the invoice and you will receive the email in couple of hours. I said to him that but the sore will be closed by then. Upon this he got rude with me and said that of you think we are thieves and we will take your money. He said we are in business for 25 years and you consider us as thieves. THEN he threatened me that its good that your are not talking to me face to face . I stopped him there and said listen to me for 2 mins that what i am trying to say. He hung up the phone again. I was very nice throughout our conversation. If the calls are recorded they can listen to the conversation by themself as well. Anyways i got really upset and called there guest services line. There i have spoken to Anmol over the phone and made a complaint she said you should speak to online sales manager and put me on transfer i waited for almost 20 mins but after that the call dropped. After an hour and a half i got a call from JJ again which i could not pick up at that time so i called him after 10 mins. He said that the price of 999 can not be found anywhere and he can not do anything unless if i wanna buy at the price of 1399 which is the current price. I started talking but he again jumped in the conversation. That is where i said to him that first of all he need to learn how to listen to the customer. He said Oh Really , you know what I will cancel your order. I said yes please do cancel my order. And he Hung up again . Shortly after that i got an email from Ashley. Request to Ashley headoffice . Please listen to the recording of the call and judge for youself. And teach your employees the ethics of good customer service. Thanks

Product completely misrepresented, manufactured very poorly, saw marks visible. Drawers barely close. Picked up myself and shocked at the poor quality. Worst of all, Ashley thinks they're entitled to 25% restock fee, on something that costs over $800, this is ridiculous in every aspect. Ashley homestore is completely ignoring us, happy with the markup I suppose. Avoid this brand and these stores at all costs, they are smile in your face scam artists and nothing more. Additionally, we ordered a bed frame and promised delivery in two weeks, which became more than a month, we cancelled however no refund has been received in almost 2 weeks. This is Ashley Homestore, or, more accurately, Ashley homescammers. *edit: additionally, call the number and press 3 for after purchase care, it doesn't work and eventually hangs up. Tell me this is a legitimate business. **edit: replying to ahs. Reviews. Replying as requested. We’ve reached out to guest care via phone, unsuccessfully. Also through online agents who were much less than helpful.  I’ve personally talked to the sales agent who sold us the item, who has claimed to investigate and open a ticket, I’m unaware if this has currently been done.  I’ve reached out to the service side in an attempt to get some type of answer or option, and was told to use Eve the text bot at a 1-844 number, which I’ve done. This desk was not on the showroom floor (for obvious reasons) and was displayed on a tablet in store.  Told there was only one left, which we bought and I picked up at the warehouse the next day because it was closed by that time (approx.. 4:30pm). Upon assembly and inspection of the item, several glaring flaws have been found. Damaged frame, drawers that barely close and are misaligned, obvious saw marks in the table top and bottom, what appears to be wear and use marks on the finish and handle screw holes that are misaligned by quite a bit and poorly counter sunk.  These handle hole problems reveal the poor material used in construction. This is not the what an $850 desk should look like, or be sold as. To this, we’re told we can exchange for another product (completely unacceptable because a sight unseen product from Ashley Homestore can and will be sent out like this) for an $85 charge. Or, for an additional payment from us of $212.50 we can have the honour of being allowed to return it.  This piece isn’t worth $200 to begin with, so I cannot accept that as a solution. Please advise ASAP on how you would care to rectify this terrible customer experience, and quite frankly, fraudulent business practices. After spending a considerable amount of time browsing and selecting furniture pieces for our home, we finally settled on a few items and proceeded to make the purchase. JJ who assisted us during the process seemed friendly and knowledgeable, which initially gave us confidence in our decision to shop at this particular store. However, our excitement quickly turned into frustration when we realized that the employee had completely disappeared after the transaction was completed. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone calls and messages , there was no response whatsoever. It felt as if we had been left in the dark, wondering about the status of our order and delivery. My wife texted and called multiple times only to receive a picture reply of the order after 2 weeks and a message that the employee does not care what people think about him. He should understand that it’s not personal but a professional conversation only to get more and correct info about our order. The lack of communication is not only unprofessional but also reflects poorly on the store as a whole. As a customer, I expect to be kept informed about the progress of my purchase, especially after spending a significant amount of money. It is unacceptable for an employee to simply vanish without providing any updates or responding to inquiries. Furthermore, the absence of communication has caused unnecessary delays and inconveniences. I had to rearrange my schedule multiple times, expecting the delivery of my furniture, only to be left waiting with no information and suddenly knowing on my day off that it’s out of stock and now going to get delivered next week after already being delayed. This lack of respect for my time and the inconvenience caused is simply unacceptable. I will be more careful next time.

If I could assign zero stars to this establishment, I certainly would. The entire experience was horrendous from the outset, with vibes reminiscent of a sleazy salesman. Our initial sales representative, Kate, who greeted us, abruptly abandoned us. Consequently, when we sought assistance from other salespeople, I overheard her coworker radioing her about our need for help. In response, she rushed over, talked over her colleague while attempting to answer our questions, and said, "I thought you guys left," justifying to her colleagues why we weren't being helped. For someone working on commission, one would expect a higher level of importance placed on customer service. However, Kate's demeanor was dry and dull, and she couldn't muster a smile or laugh, despite our attempts to lighten the situation. Any item she showed us that we didn't like was met with visible annoyance, accompanied by huffs and puffs. After a frustrating negotiation process, we found a sofa we truly loved. Unfortunately, Kate refused to negotiate, asserting that there was no room for it. Oddly, she mentioned that if we found a better price elsewhere, they would beat it. The catch? We had to pay the full price first, then return in two days for a price match, plus 25% of the difference. The entire process felt sketchy. As we reached an impasse, deciding to leave, Kate suddenly offered to explore pricing options. However, this apparent goodwill gesture was marred by a 20-minute wait, during which she and her coworker exchanged laughter. Ultimately, they returned, only to inform us they wouldn't disclose pricing. Inevitably, this experience led us to contact another Ashley's store in the city, where we saved $800. This stark contrast in pricing policies and customer service underscores the challenges we faced at the aforementioned location. In conclusion, I strongly advise avoiding this particular establishment at all costs, given its joke-worthy service and overall lackluster customer experience.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Horrendous customer service! They don't care about their customers. They just want the sale. Don't trust a word they say. I purchased a lifestyle base from Ashley HomeStore in Deerfoot Meadows. A lifestyle base is one of those electronic bases that goes under your mattress and raises the head of the mattress so you can sit up in bed. It was the floor model and I was nervous that it wouldn’t work very well given it had been used quite a bit. I was assured it was in excellent condition but I purchased the extended warranty just in case. Within less than one week, it did not work! One week!! My husband called the store to find out if they could help us and we were immediately sent to Ashley Service. Ashley Service was useless. They didn't understand what a base was and simply said they'd fill out a report. No confirmation they would send a technician to help us. My husband called the store again and spoke with the actual sales person who sold me the base. His response to my husband… “I don’t know what you want me to do about it. I can’t even change a battery.“ and then hung up on my husband. We finally had to find the Sealey head office on our own so we could get a technician in place. We didn't get one week with this base before it broke down. And once it did, Ashley Homestore wanted nothing to do with us. There's no integrity at this store. Do not shop here!! We still have a base that doesn't work and we await help from Sealy since Ashley Homestore did absolutely nothing to help us.

Extremely dissatisfied with Ashley Furniture at 88 Heritage Gate SE Calgary by Ikea. We were told by our sales person that if we were not satisfied with our purchase of a power recliner loveseat, to contact him within 30 days and can return or exchange it. We did just that approximately 2 weeks after purchase as it made me physically sore to sit in. We contacted our sales rep to ask when we could bring it back in or have it picked up and was advised that he would have to speak with his manager but would get back to us. A week went by without a word, so I called the store and requested to speak with him. I was advised he was with a customer and was asked if they could help me. When I explained the reason for the call and was looking for what our next steps would be, I was told I needed to call Customer Service. I explained the whole thing again and what was promised at purchase but to no avail. Contacted customer service only to be told that they won't do anything for what they perceive as a "comfort issue". Also that Ashley Furniture's return policy is only within 48 hrs ! They said they couldn't help me and it would be up to the individual store if they want to. So we called back, only to be refused the ability to speak with our sales rep or ANY manager or to assist us. They flatly advised we were out of luck. We were willing to exchange and pay restocking fee. We are stuck with a piece of furniture that makes me physically hurt from the hips down. Shame on You Ashley Furniture

Probably one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. The salespeople at this location are mostly kind (the individual in which I purchased the items from was amazing) but unfortunately, the overall experience with Ashley has been terrible. I purchased a dining set and cabinet a few months back with White Glove Delivery. The delivery drivers set up the furniture in the alleyway and brought the furniture into my house covered in mud and damaged. The top of the table was scratched out, there were chips in the table, and to top it off, the cabinet was not actually set up. I reached out numerous times to Ashley via email and phone conversation regarding the damage and no one got back to me. It got to the point that this store would not even answer the phone. The email and phone number I was given from customer service was never answered. Eventually, I gave up as I realized they did not actually care and my concerns were consistently dismissed. I will not buy another piece of furniture from any Ashley furniture again after this experience, and would highly recommend others to consider this review before purchasing. After the last few months, the bar stools have also become very wobbly and unreliable. Terrible customer service from the company itself (good luck if you need to use your warranty), overpriced for poor quality items, and overall just a waste of time and effort to deal with.

Sales went great, after service is horrid. Couch has console issue, called guest careless and was told it was ordered. I then get a message the order was cancelled but out of the 'kindness' of their heart they would order it again (the couch at this point is 2 weeks old). I was told part would arrive Aug 4, so I called about lifestyle bed issue asked about part oh it direct ship and I'll have to call guest careless again to set up appointment My lifestyle bed was making an interesting noise so call guest careless to find out i have to call the 800 number on the remote. So I call them get the part shipped, call guest careless and told they don't install them wth. Call the remote 800 and told that yes they do or should, again bed is 2 weeks old. I have the part the tech was scheduled the bed no longer made the noise so we figure hold on incase issue later. Well that day has come the head part doesn't lift, when tech was here last I asked best way to get it replaced said call guest careless(my version),so I call guest careless and said I have the part i need it installed and before she could say they don't so that i told her what happened a month ago so she checked with the area manager and told yes they do. For the amount of money I spent I expected better service. This may be my last ashley purchase. To sum up, sales good after sale service they can't seem to do anything.

Bought 5 bar stools 10 days ago. Sales rep Yvonne Fedor was quick and effective. She was able to understand what I was looking for and able to find the right style and price range for me over quickly. 5 stars for her service for sure. Bar stools arrived within a week, 3 out of 5 have issues. Email their guests care right away, and found out email is no longer effective and I have to send text messages with pictures. Text them right away and follow with a phone call just in case. Guest care agent Christine was polite and helpful. She told me know after the weekend, someone will contact me to address the problem. Waited for 2 days, no answer, so I call again and this time the agent told me their service department were a little behind, someone should contact the next day. Waited once again, I didnt hear from them. So I call the guest care for the 3rd time, thx goodness, guest service rep Sewak Singh was able to address my concerns right away. He provided outstanding service. Took his time and listened to my issues. Offered me different options as solutions. Fixed one of the stool by instructed me to switch parts around. He definitely save the store from a bad review because he was willing to step up, it changes the whole picture. Although my issues with the furniture is waiting to be rectify, at least I know I can count on their customer service to address the problem.

"Do a favor to yourself and Do Not Buy anything from this store. The worst customer service experience I ever had. They told me that I had to assemble the bed immediately after receiving it which forced me to unassembled my current bed and, guess what, the new bed came with defects and then I called through this automated system they have called "Eva" which is totally useless as I followed all process and this mediocre system was running in loops. I ultimately got in touch with them and they finally place an order which is about to take 2-4 weeks as to which now I am in the mid way... last week I went there to follow up and they just told me they were unable to provide an update, when I asked to talk to the store manager they said that regardless, the manager was not able to provide any answer other than the information they provided to me (what information?, they provided nothing).....so, luckily 2 more weeks sleeping on the floor (unless I put together the old bed from the basement and take it upstairs) because the poor, mediocre and horrendous customer service I ever seen, not even in a third world country..... Congratulations Ashley Store... you just lost a customer due to the lack, carelessness, negligent, poor customer service. By the way, Pay for something you are unable to use is not a pleasant experience whatsoever...."

After 5 months I finally have my Table set! All I get is broken and damaged furniture, with no rights to have a full refund! I received my table set with 4 chairs on 15 April, however, there were broken chair legs and damaged table legs, which means I can’t use the table set. And Ashley had never provided care or other table and chairs for me to use or replace it. Because of lacking the parts, I can’t use the table and chairs but need to keep them in our house until the missing parts arrive! The worst part is the delivery date keep changing, from May to June, from June to July, from July to Aug, from Aug to Sep……I have no answers, no help, no table, no chairs, they supposed you to eat on the floor until they figure out their stuff. We have been eating our Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner on the floor for 5 months. Can you imagine how inconvenience we are? The product quality is poor and the after-sales service is worse. Everytime I ask for a tracking number, They will never let you know about it! Because they provided a wrong tracking number for the missing parts! I do not know they with what their mistake return so hard spirit! They take no responsibility and don't even try to make it right. I swore I would never buy anything from them again.

Initially I thought my experience in store with the sales person was great and was happy with my over all experience. However, upon delivery I came to find out that the sales person did not include any of the details for removal of our old bed or relocating in the house, which we paid for and discussed with her. Thankfully the delivery team was very kind and did it anyways as we did pay for the service. Then after the bed was set up it turns out the sales person advised/ordered the wrong size mattress. We thought we bought a king bed and a king mattress, bed received was actually a California king and a regular king mattress. I called customer service to discuss the issue at hand. The lady on the phone essentially told me it was not their problem and that I had to go back to the store and make the sales person take responsibility for their error. What kind of customer care is that?! I also left a voicemail for the store location and have yet to receive a reply. When I go into a store and work with an employee of that establishment I assume/expect them to be knowledgeable of their products and advise us on the correct corresponding products to purchase. I am truly disappointed with the customer support at Ashley's.

I recently purchased a couch set from Ashley’s Home Store and got my last couch delivered on Thursday, Sept 23rd. I was not aware of the damage done to my wall until I signed for the couch. I called customer service within an hour of my couch being delivered and they declined to help me in any way because I signed for my couch before reporting the damage done to my wall. I was unaware of the damage because I was looking after my child and I trusted the delivery team in my new home. To completely deny the damage when the pictures clearly show that there is lint from the couch stuck in the abrasions done to my wall is ridiculous and infuriating. I am very disappointed with my customer service experience. What makes my situation more frustrating is the silent treatment I am receiving from their head office after emailing them over 4 days ago. I have yet to furnish the rest of my home and I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you do decide to purchase anything from Ashley’s don’t sign for your furniture until you have checked your walls and floors for any damage. Not only did I pay over $3000 dollars for my couches; I know have to pay out of pocket for someone to fix my wall.

Best service ever by sales team. The person who helped us with our new home furniture is GABE at heritage road Ashley. We ordered our furniture and it got delivered in two rounds as some of them got delayed. On the first delivery, the delivery team did not assemble the furniture for us as Ashley promised they would do it for us. The delivery team informed us that the beds we got from the manufacturer did not have proper threading for screws and left the furniture for us saying a technician has to come from ashley to fix the beds. We had to call customer care and had to go through many hassles and finally we came to know that they are going to order a part and they would be receiving it in 2-4 weeks. It was the same story on the second delivery as well. At this point GABE helped us by sending a technician but unfortunately it did not work. After a couple of days GABE himself came to place along with his 4 year old daughter to assemble our furniture. Honestly there was nothing wrong with the beds from manufacturer. GABE assembled all the beds, foot board and dresser table for us. One of the finest ever customer service i have ever seen.Thank you GABE.

I had the worst experience at this store, the manager Prince, lied to us about the shipment of our order just so we can purchase the couch on the same day. When we were at the store, it was prince and another employee helping us out and they both were quoting us different amounts for the couch which already was very frustrating. We explained to him that we recently moved in to our condo and do not have furniture, we specifically told him we are looking for a couch that is available to be shipped in max 2 weeks. He promised to get it shipped on Oct 26th, I made the purchase on Oct 15th. I took a day off from work to be available for the shipping. On the morning of Oct 26th, I called the customer service line to get a timeline of the shipping and I was told by the rep that the store did not put an order for your shipping and it will take another 2 weeks for the couch to arrive. This is extremely frustrating and the worst customer experience ever. I need upper management from Ashley to call me asap as the staff at this store is lying to their customers just to close sales.

Absolutely terrible customer service, we ordered a sectional during their "system outage" which was over a week. During that time they couldn't tell us if our item was in stock or how long it would take to receive the item(which was fine). We were assured that once the system came back they would call us and at that time we would have 48 hours to decide if we wanted to follow through with the order with no penalty. Fast forward a bit and we emailed them to cancel the order the night BEFORE their system cam back up, we also went into the store the next day to cancel it in person just in case. We never got a call or anything from anyone saying that their system was back up and to give us a timeline for our sectional, we assumed all was good. A few weeks go by and we start getting phone calls about delivery and we tell them that we canceled it. Now they say it wasn't canceled and we need to pay the restocking fee which is ridiculous. I will never buy anything from their store again

I wish I could give the review I hoped for. We bought a sectional from Prince in October and were told that Ashley Furniture has a 60 day price match policy. Sure enough on Black Friday our sectional went on sale, I asked for the price match to be done. I was told that it would get emailed to head office and that they will take care of it for us. I never heard anything back again until I followed up, at that time they decided that the price match policy is only 30 days (not what we were told) and their website still says 60 days. I emailed them again requesting this price match and they have still not dealt with this. I’m extremely disappointed, if I could return the couch I would purely based off of the fact that the customer service from the manager (Prince) has been terrible. I have waited and given many chances to correct this and they haven’t fixed it. As a young adult spending this much money is a big deal and I feel that we have been screwed around.

By far the most unprofessional and disrespectful staff and management team I have ever dealt with from a consumer’s prospective!!! Nothing but lies and misinformation.. Alex Vinny JJ Troy and the entire team cheat the system and do not honour and deal they put into place ! I would avoid this store at all costs . Been in retail and management my entire life and I would never treat customers like this group of individuals do . All they do is tell you people are not available and give you the run around story to contact customer service when it is the stores issues to deal with the customers . I got a price protection guarantee that they will no longer offer and twisted my sales so that I had to pay for my “free” warranty. But now will only refund me my warranty and not match my price protection. Staff is a bunch of cheats who just want your money and could care less after the sale is done ! DO NOT BUY from the 88 hertiage gate location !!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

Dealt with Tyler, no high pressure sales, let us look around at our own pace and didn't follow us around like a bloodhound tracking a squirrel. When we were ready to pull the trigger on our purchase he was diligent in explaining our options as well as delivery times. Edit: while trying to set up delivery with "guest services" we were informed that our delivery date was unavailable and the woman that I was dealing with was extremely rude and unwilling to work with us. I was told that delivery was only available out of town on Thursdays (fair enough) and that a time would be unavailable until the day before delivery, but they needed 48 hours notice to re schedule a delivery... I work 2 hours away and the woman either could not or would not see how this was impossible to deal with. Very not impressed. relayed this info to Tyler, our salesman and he has promised to handle this himself. if not for him the order would be cancelled and this would be escalated.

Have to thank Tyler at Ashley's for helping us find the perfect couch, King bedframe and mattress. He was helpful, knowledgeable, went out of his way to stay in touch as we did not want to rush this process and extremely patient which was everything we needed! There was a mix up with our delivery dates and he helped sort out the issue so quickly, even better we got everything earlier than expected! Furniture was delivered without any issues and we couldn't be happier with our choices. We have had family members purchase furniture from this store and have to say they are pretty amazing. He kept us informed about what to do delivery day if we weren't satisfied, which most people wouldn't. We didn't have any issues but it was really nice to know this beforehand! If you're going to Ashley homestore in heritage definitely ask for Tyler! He's super easy to work with, kind and professional!

Drop Dead Return/Exchange Policy Ousts Loyal Customer I Outfitted my whole home with Ashley furnature a few years ago and had a great experience. Based on this, I thought I would go to the same store when buying a bench for the house. The sales process was easy enough HOWEVER I was shocked to find how terrible and archaic their return/exchange policy is when it comes to returning or exchanging items. 48 hours. If you are even a few hours outside this timeframe you are dead to them. On top of that, if the product is damaged then you are at the mercy of their "replacement part" process that is likely to take weeks to resolve. In other words, get bent mister customer. We are done with you at this point. An organization with even an ounce of class would have offered some form of alternative that would keep a long term customer. Browsing shoppers beware of this place!

We had a great experience from start to delivery at the Ashley Store in Deerfoot Meadows! Our sales person Kate was great she let us do our thing but was always available to help with our questions. Then came time for delivery... They send you a text and email to give you a window time estimate for the day of delivery but they also send you a cool link that you can track your driver and it also updates your time of delivery! So, very helpful this tracking system is and it's very accurate too. It allowed me to be able to go about my day and not wait around for hours for my delivery! Just awesome! The delivery people were super nice very fast and efficient! They took my old couch and loveseat out and away and moved in the new stuff! Absolutely very satisfied with the quality of my purchase and the level of service we received on all fronts! Highly recommend!

Avoid this place at all costs. Edit. Pictures added this is how they left my master bedroom and it will be like this for another week I am told. They take no responsibility and don't even try to make it right. No one has called me not once, I have been calling them. Ordered a bed was told delivery would be today, delivery shows up with half the bed and no answers to where the rest is. Called store was transfered to customer care was told to sit by and wait for a phone call meanwhile I have no answers, no help, no bed, am I supposed to sleep on the floor until they figure out their stuff. Edit. Now I have received a text not a call saying my purchase will be dropped off next week they want me to sleep on the floor another week and don't even have the courtesy to call. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want added stress to your life. And a sore back.

We shop at Ashley all the time and love there furniture. Good quality and always reasonably priced. Prince our sales representative at Calgary location was very friendly and professional. We Never felt any pressure from him. He let us enjoy our show room site seeing experience, and when asked upon he explained everything in detail. We had to rush out of store unexpectedly all during the pricing figures/numbers for sofa and love seat we liked. Prince realizing our urgency then got our contact info and set us up with all pricing figures via text. We basically made our purchase over the phone 2 hours later texting ,calling and online purchase paperwork.. It was quick , and painless which we appreciated cause our time and like most others are very valuable. Thanks again Prince for a speedy , fun and easy purchase process from the comfort of our home:)

The place is full of trained con artists. I visited this store and a sales person showed me a lifestyle bed base. The base was from a premium brand and the sales person gave me a demo and stated a price for that base. I decided to buy the base and just before making payment I asked him if there will any motor noise. He said let’s check because the product that you will get is different. I was confused and thought that he is talking about a different model but same brand. He then showed and gave me a demo of the base that he was actually selling and on asking further questions he answered that he was gonna sell an Ashley brand base but gave demo of a premium brand and mentioned the price of Ashley brand. So he showed me a Mercedes quoted the price of Suzuki and was trying to sell it to me. Never ever returning to this con house.

We were greeted by a friendly salesman named Tyler Gradwell at Ashley furniture 88 Heritage GareS.E. Calgary. After exchanging greetings we informed him that we were looking for outdoor furniture. Tyler proceeded to show us the various groupings on display. He took the time to find out what was important to us ie: durability, comfort, style which ultimately led us to the purchase of the 5 piece Paradise grouping. They service was so great we went back and got a second set of patio furniture. From start to finish we had a great shopping experience with Tyler. He was attentive without being pushy and was knowledgeable about the products we were interested in. Purchased a brand new coffee table worth $1100 and saw a surface scratch and miscolour upon opening the box. I was told to call a 1-800 number to have it rectified through an in home REPAIR. It's unacceptable that Ashley won't replace it for a table that is not defective or offer an extended warranty even on the repaired section. When you buy something brand new, you expect it to have no defects and not have to be repaired. When you buy a brand new car, do you expect it to have defects and be sent to a body shop while paying full price? i don't think so. So i'm not sure why Ashley thinks this is acceptable. I didn't buy this table from the clearance section but this experience sure feels that way. Way to tarnish a relationship with your customers. This is my first and last purchase here.

They told me they’d call me back for a delivery date. They didn’t call me back so I called them and they told me the date I wanted was too far ahead even tho the person the previous day said that they would book it. They then told me they didn’t have my account on file. Then they told me they’d drop it off on my lawn 2 days after the day I asked to get it delivered even tho I payed to have it delivered and set up. In store was great the customer service on the phone was by far the worst I’ve ever dealt with in my life. They hung up on me 2 times! I’ve never left a review but by far the worst I’ve ever encountered. Oh the next person I talked to told me the date I wanted it delivered wouldn’t be a problem and booked it the same day the other person hung up on me and told me no!

I wish I could give them 0 star. We bought sofa and paid extra for the delivery. During delivery they damaged our sofa. At the time the delivery I asked delivery guy to take back damaged sofa he told me you keep it for now and they will exchange it for you in 2-3 days. When I called customer care they said we have “repair over exchange “ policy. When we signed deal salesperson didn’t told us about this policy neither allowed us to read the documents carefully. They took 3-4 weeks to repair the sofa and when we asked for discount because damaged was done by them during delivery as it was their liability because we paid extra for the delivery and they gave us 75$ discount for 2600$ sofa. Never buying furniture from this sofa again.

I had the worse experience with Ashley furniture. We bought a couch that they couldn’t get it through our door so we had to return it but they are not getting the tax fee back , plus they are charging us for restocking the couch. So we either lose $500 or get a store credit and lose $260. I honestly just want my money back and don’t wanna do any business with this company because they are rubbing us. Who has $500 to give away just like that. It’s not my fault that the couch doesn’t fit our door. The sale associate (jerry) that we did deal with, should have warn us that this couch might not fit any door. I also think it might would if they had take it out of the package. Anyway don’t buy from them because they are thief.

Our sales rep was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Destiny. Our delivery crew was also wonderful, Jamie and the woman (didn’t catch her name) were very nice and efficient. That being said I am unsure I would ever buy anything from them again. We have only received 3/4 of our order and we’re expecting it much sooner as I had received a phone call stating it was all to be delivered at a previous date. We had prepared for delivery, got rid of all our old furniture and had no living room for days and was unable to get a call back or speak with anyone. I’m happy they were able to do a “partial” delivery but I believe we are owed some sort of compensation for our inconvenience and that has yet to be rectified.

Great easy painless process when purchasing, delivery process and customer support is something else with this guys. Got expensive item delivered and not being assembled, half of the item that was not assembled is damaged. Customer support process is sms service very basic ai, where you need manager to guide you through. Sale person who gave the number to call in case any issue is not responding for two days. At this moment I feel a bit frustrated how it all went down. After visiting the store on second Dani got another number where lady finally was able to understand what the problem is and guide me through a process to place new claim with the damages… someone should get back to me within 48 hours …

I was told this is the largest Ashley Homestore location and It definitely did not disappoint with its large displays and variety of furniture! All of the sales staff were very kind and greeted you at the door . Multiple sales staff came up to me to introduce themselves and let me know they can assist me if i had any questions. At this point I wanted to browse in silence and I didn't love having 4 different associates talk to me during my 20 minutes in the store but I do understand it is their job! Ashley Homestore ultimately did not have the items I was looking for, as I was looking for more modern "trendy" items at the time , but everything there was reasonably priced and I would go back!

I’ve emailed you on September 24th. made a large purchase at your store at heritage in Calgary (dining set, sofa, chair, chair and a half). I also had an ottoman on order but I canceled it, within the 48h period prior to delivery. I have photos that show that I did cancel the order (text message as well as phone log) on august 23 before the august 25 delivery. I’ve tried multiple calls, and spoken to several of your people, but I keep getting the run around. It’s been about two months of this right now and it has been awful. As a customer of a very large order, I hope you can help me to get my money back. It just needs to be refunded to the credit card, or please mail me a cheque.

Ashley's Furniture Store at Heritage shopping area has large show room with lots of choice. Salesman is ready to help and spent dedicated time to us as we pick out new furniture. All well designed and fit our needs except for the chest, which was too wide once we got it home. They have a generous return policy and were willing to exchange, however, everything they have was too big or too small. After a disappointing hour of searching we decided to try to li e with different arrangements. The bed that came was not the one we selected in the store and needs to be exchanged... Still waiting to hear about the matress exchange. Not sleeping well at present on a rock hard bed! Richard

Jonathan took the time to listen to what my preference was and, without waisting time, we were in fron of the item I was looking for. I was given time to think and compare, but in the end I decided to go to the item I was taken to see first. Great finish with the delivery on time. I come from an older generation. We appreciate a straight forward approach. After visiting many other stores I found what I wanted at Ashley's. Update 2: Bad experience. They want to charge me $500 to cancel for their mistake. Again, think twice before doing business with them. Terrible delivery system. I had to wait 2 weeks to get my furniture and guess what? Was missing parts. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks for a new available date. Hopefully they are going to do right next time, or not. Update: After waiting 2 weeks to get the new set, it came with the headboard stain and damaged. Now, no bed, no nightstand, no dresses because no question that we will cancel our order and probably not buying again at Ashley. If you buy there, be prepared for some headaches and disappointments.

Walking into the store we were greeted by Jonathan and he was very friendly and knowledgeable of the Ashley home furniture. He didn’t hover over us while we looked around the store which was a nice experience. We looked at 5 more furniture stores and then decided to purchase our living room set with Ashley. The furniture was delivered and all the pieces were exactly what we picked. The furniture delivery guys were so polite and professional. I recommend Ashley furniture for friendly knowledgeable service, product options and a smooth transaction from entering the store to sitting in the furniture in your house. Ashley is top drawer!

I bought a sofa set and a table set in Sept 2023. At the time, there was a special promotion where you would receive a free Roomba with your purchase over $2,500. We were told we would receive the Roomba in 2-3 weeks. After 2 weeks. I reached out to the store numerous time, no one helped and said we could do nothing and asked to speak to a customer care. They behaved like I was asking a favour and cut off the phone line. I reached out customer care and told I would receive the Roomba in 2-3 weeks. It’s now Dec 10 and receive none or no follow up. I am shocked that a big brand can do this kind of thing.I have no stamina to follow up.

I do not recommend anyone to shop at Ashley store. They do not respect the customer’s rights to replace the demaged furniture that was in the box when bought it. This is a simple scam and tricking people into losing their money. If I buy a new piece of furniture, I expect it to be received without damage. My family experience of puchasing in this store is shocking how the customer is treated. They offer is to repair a new piece of furniture instead of replacing it with a non demaged one. I will never set foot in this store again and I will tell everyone about their sales style.

Very polite, very accommodating. Our original purchase from their competitor left us hanging after 6 weeks in any form of communication regarding 2 chairs and ottoman delivery. No call, text or message was left from them. Our expected delivery was 3-4 weeks after purchase. So we called today and we’re told they called us one month after purchase about the change to back order status. One call to Ashley and they are matching our paid price and have one chair in stock. Guaranteed delivery of the second chair in 2 weeks. Thank you so much Ashley… now we can have company over!!

Tyler went absolutely above and beyond at Ashley! This was our first purchase for our new home and we were both very hesitant to buy a new couch as it was our first big purchase for our home and we couldn’t find the perfect one. Tyler was extremely accommodating, kind and patient and made the process smooth, fun and enjoyable which made us feel valued as customers. Such a poor experience with Ashley I have. First visit, when you buying something, you are treated very well. But after purchase, no service just lies. Ordered 3 items, cancelled one, sales people are so incompetent that order was never cancelled. Also price match was not done. Store refused to help. Item still delivered after cancellation and after not accepting delivery. Call centre doesn’t help. Again quality no issue, its service. Neal is only one at this store who is helpful rest every one is there for their commissions. Now fighting for refund for unwanted item.

The sales staff my wife and I dealt with for our recent sofa purchase were respectful and considerate of our time and were in no way “pushy.” It was an enjoyable experience to browse the store without feeling any pressure to buy. They were available to answer our questions and were helpful as we debated on the sofa we wanted to purchase. The product quality is poor and the after-sales service is worse. I moved to Calgary and bought several pieces of furniture in this store, all of which had quality problems. Moreover, the attitude of after-sales service is very poor. No staff contacted me for a long time after I complained about the problem. I put forward to return money, they say according to the company regulation want to charge certain proportion of fine, I do not know they with what their mistake return so hard spirit! I swore I would never buy anything from them again.

Terrible experience! Ordered 2 nightstands from them that were put together wrong and very poor material. I called customer service to find out that I would either have to pay a restocking fee if I returned them or book to have someone come to fix it. Finally someone came to fix it and they needed to order a new part. So now they need to come back again but they don't give you a time window, you find out the day before the arrival time. I would highly recommend spending your money somewhere else. Poor quality furniture at a high price!

My wife and I went in to look at couches, we had a lovely sales person. She went off to get a computer to look at delivery options and came back with someone who completely took over. After a few minutes we decided to leave without the purchase, the second man wanted to show us something, and took us to the mattress area. They seemed to have a fairly limited selection, only showed us two options for sectionals and were kinda pushy about making the sale. Wouldn’t tell us the final “deal” pricing unless we committed to buying right then. Then phoned us after we left to try and get us to come back for the better price. Furniture it self does seem well made and reasonably priced (especially if you barter). Overall not a great experience for me and my wife though.
