As newcomers to the Seattle area, my family and I were faced with a whirlwind of challenges, including finding a reliable veterinary hospital. Atlantic Vet Hospital came to our rescue in more ways than one. Within just three days of my initial phone call, they managed to obtain our pet records and scheduled an appointment for our beloved kitten, Jules. These three days were tumultuous, as our dog Joey had a terrifying encounter with a pitbull and went missing just the day before our scheduled visit. After an agonizing seven-hour search, we were fortunate enough to find Joey shortly after our cat's appointment. With Joey's paws badly injured from his frantic run through the streets of our unfamiliar new neighborhood, our hearts were heavy with worry. In our time of need, Atlantic Vet Hospital proved to be an absolute blessing. With no hesitation, I reached out to them, and to my amazement, they were able to fit Joey in for an immediate evaluation within minutes of my call. This swift and compassionate response was nothing short of remarkable. While our cat Jules was undergoing tests at the hospital, the entire team rallied to take care of us and our pets. The kindness, support, and genuine concern that the Atlantic Vet Hospital team showed us during this stressful time was truly heartwarming. They not only tended to Joey's physical wounds with expertise and care but also provided us with emotional support that helped alleviate the stress of our recent move to Seattle. Took my senior pup to Atlantic recently for an annual exam and vaccinations. From the moment we walked in, the staff were so friendly and affectionate toward my shy dog. They even got her to stand on the scale on her own, with lots and lots of treats! I had an appointment and didn't have to wait to be seen at all, even though it was the late afternoon. I was out in under an hour, which is rare for a vet, in my experience. All options and procedures were explained thoroughly, and the vet was so kind and spent extensive time with us, answering all of our questions and even sitting on the floor with us to be on the same level as my dog. I also really liked their wellness plans and ended up purchasing one for my pup. I felt that they were very thorough in their exam too, as they asked for all of my dog's prior records (not just shot records) and contact info for all her previous vets. I was really impressed -- no other vet I've been to has taken that much care to understand my pet's history! All in all, very happy that I found this vet and feel comfortable entrusting my pet's health in their hands! Highly recommended!

Only leaving a second star because the receptionist looked sad that they couldn’t help. The website says they have an urgent care it doesn’t say anything about having to be a patient there. Although that doesn’t matter because I’ve taken my dog there before. I took her today because she is limping and is clearly in pain and I just needed some pain management for her to last until her appointment next week. The vet couldn’t even make time for five minutes to come out see she was limping and in pain, and write a prescription for a few days. They then told me it would take 24-48 hours to fill the prescription which is crazy considering they were going to give my dog pain meds when I left last time I visited. This place honestly kinda sucks last time I visited they took her out for a urine sample and were gone for 2-3 minutes came back and wanted to collect a sample with a needle through her stomach… I was shocked they barely tried to get her to pee. If this is your vet and they work for you that’s fine no hate but I won’t be coming back.

My partner and I took our dog to veterinarian and physical rehab therapist, Dr. Munroe. For a first appointment, we were more than pleased and impressed with her. She was calm, kind, and gentle with our Newfoundland dog, Jupiter. She was thorough in being clear about the presenting issues, and providing us with various treatment options. We appreciated that she gave us complete autonomy to decide which treatment option we felt would be best and that addressed our financial limitations and still addressed his needs. We were touched that she gave so much of her time in this initial session and again, was extremely thorough about every aspect of this visit. We feel confident and at ease to have Jupiter in her care as we move forward. Thank you Dr. Munroe!

I was told by a few different people to watch out because they were “expensive.” Not only is that just not true but they give the best service I’ve experienced since moving out here. I have an 11y/o husky who they have been such a help with! Staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell they actually care. To me there no price tag for that type of care for my fur baby. They’ve gotten me in fast every time and I will trusting them for all of my pets needs in the future. Cannot recommend enough! Go here if you want genuine human interaction to ease the challenges that can be associated when our pets aren’t well.

I called to get an estimate of how much it would cost to have my dog neutered. The person on the phone refused to give me an estimate saying the price would vary way too much. Now I understand that the price may vary depending on the size of the dog, do largely in part to the cost of anesthesia. However, I should be able to tell you I have a large dog and get a rough estimate for such a routine procedure. In my book, if a business is unwilling to provide an estimate on the phone for a routine service, it is not a business that I want to do business with because I would think they were trying to scam me

I am very grateful I chose this clinic to trust them to care for my kitty Nicole. She was their patient for almost 14 years and never was I ever disappointed with their service from the front desk to the Vets that saw her. Sadly, she developed an illness that made very very sick. I had to make the decision to send her to heaven and even for this kind of procedure they were very compassionate to my pain and her pain. They definitely love their job and they demonstrate it with top care for pets and us the pet parents.

Have been taking my standard poodles to Atlantic Vet and Dr Monahan since 2008 (with prior owner, Dr Monhan took over a few years after that) which covers three standard poodles. Always pleased with access and care, even during the tough Covid and post Covid times. They are open to discussing options and cost and were very kind when I had to put one of my fir babies to sleep) . Recommend getting established there with your pet and and a preventative care plan before any emergency or emergent situation.

My Appointment was amazing! Dr Bucklin Had a very professional demeanor in dealing with Sparky. She established trust right away with my pup and handled him gently. She explained the plan of care and options concisely. The appointment ran smooth and it didn’t seemed rushed at all. I also commend how they practiced social distancing and infection control. The Staff and Vet techs were also very friendly too. Will be recommending this place and will be keeping my dog in their care.

Both our dogs went in on different appointments. We saw two different veterinarians and staff, and both times they were friendly, professional, and very caring about our dogs. Very caring and thoughtful about their health and mental health during the appointment. I think this might be the best veterinarian we’ve been to. We travel a lot and our two dogs have different vaccine schedules, so we have a veterinarian in Austin, Vegas, and Seattle.

I recently adopted a female cat. This is so unlike me. This is so uncharacteristic of me. If I were to spend any of my hard earn money on anything besides me, it would be definitely a female human, not a Feeline. I remember having super red eyes and incredibly itchy throat with a faucet as a nose and feels like an elephant sitting on my chest. I don't know what it is. Could it be the cat, or could it be me changing.

The first clinic our fur baby has been *excited* to enter - not only is she not nervous/trembling, but she gets an excited wiggle when we get to Atlantic Veterinary Hospital! The team is wonderful and has been outstanding not only just for our regular visits, but during our sick visits as well :(. They even once gave our girl a cheese board that she devoured after being really sick. They are the best!

I have been having my cat come here for a little while now. The Vets and Vet Techs have all been very kind and friendly. This clinic offers online records including a way to request medication refills online, which I have found very helpful. Costs have been reasonable. Staff have been very accommodating with options for appointments and treatment plans.

Just had our first wellness check up as new Seattle residents. The doctor called me while I waited in the car and she was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and really let me ask anything I wanted. The staff that managed all the parking lot transactions was also amazing, as was the reception staff. For what it's worth, my pet is a cat!

Very caring team of professionals from first hellos from front desk to the techs and aides and Dr. Cline. Had to find a new vet after Dr. Young retired from practice. So glad to find this wonderful group! Sad that no one has the sliding payment scale that Dr. Young had, but I am in a better position to afford my pet care than before.

Great 1st visit. Got lots of questions answered. Given lots of information with treatment options. Recommeded procedures were thoroughly discussed. Pricing was upfront. The Dr seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were taking the best care of my dog, not just trying to build the biggest treatment plan to bill me.

Came here for physical therapy related to arthritic pain for my dog. They were fantastic in not only explaining my options and how they would help improve my dog’s quality of life, but they also treated my anxious-to-be-at-the-vet pup with extra love and care, really calming her and getting her comfortable.

The doctor, nurses, and receptionists are very caring and loving to pets. They take great care of your pets. I love their thoroughness in checking my pups health, and and following up with me about any concerns, and meds needed. They're a great team to care for pets.

Love the entire staff from front desk, to nurses and doctors. Extremely responsive and helpful. My pup is in good hands. I also love the clinic's texting service to allow for quick and easy communication. My puppy can't wait to see his vet team every time we go!

This is by far my favorite vet I’ve ever been to. Whenever my dog is here for a procedure, I get frequent updates and the vets explain things well. All of the staff seem to really care about my boy. I always feel great about leaving him in their care.

I love this place. So does my cat. Cat acupuncture! Need I say more? In case the answer is yes, they have gentle and cutting age technologies to manage my cat’s pain and keep her living as long and healthy as possible (she’s an older cat).

Caring group who have been taking care of my animals for years. I especially appreciate that they do euthanasia house calls. I've had to say goodbye to two of my dogs over the years and doing so from our loving home makes it less painful

I’ve been going there with both of my dogs for over a year now. One of my dogs had her first surgery a few days ago and I’m really happy with the after care. They seem like they genuinely care and I can definitely recommend this vet :)

Every staff member was so kind to myself & my dog. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable & my dog received the best care he could! Cost of appt was average.

They handle my large cat with care and he didn't freak out. Even when they put a needle in his neck. He got a no no treat once he got home. Amazing
