This week, Aura-Design installed exceptionally good looking stretched ceilings in my apartment. The benefits were remarkable. The Product Specialist responsible for the contract, Mr. de Bellefeuille, was flexible, accommodating and easy to interact with, even in these difficult COVID-19 times. The contract was fully respected. The installer, Mr. Boudreault, a carpenter by profession, was polite, respectful of my apartment and did an absolutely perfect job! The apartment where the work was done is a 1 bedroom apartment with complex ceilings of many corners, and a light fixture in one of the ceilings. Even so, as the work progressed, the installer was so accommodating and confident in what he was doing, that I stopped worried about anything; you can have full confidence in his overall ability to take care of your apartment and in the quality of his work! The stretched ceilings, of a white-satin color, have increased the apparent size of the apartment, made it much brighter and cleaner. I was told by several suppliers that the apartment would look bigger, and would be brighter, but I certainly did not expect that it would be at that level, nor did I expect the apartment to look cleaner! Everything reflects on the ceilings, so do the lights from the lamps at night. I will need fewer lamps than what I currently have! The installer has a blanket to cover the furniture, but be aware that a fine powder does accumulate in the room where the work is done, so do cover as much as you can there. The original object of this installation was to stop the white powder, powder that kept falling from the popcorn ceilings. Now that the popcorn ceilings have been sealed off, the air is already fresher, but it will be much more noticeable during the winter months, when the heat is turned on. There was at that time, too much white powder falling from the popcorn ceilings, powder that I kept breading! However, I certainly did not expect that I would reap such extra benefits mentioned above! Thanks again Aura-Design. G. Chenier

5 out 5 Stars for Aura-Design. I would like to acknowledge the fantastic customer support provided by Aura-Design. I recently purchased the new Anthem MRX-1140, a big upgrade from my old system. Andrew provided lots of information prior to and when purchasing the unit. I set up the physical unit and installed the software (ARC) on my PC to calibrate the unit. I ran into a few issues with my sub woofers when running the ARC software. The owners manual or online research didn’t help me, so I called Andrew. He was determined to help me resolve the issues and he did. Andrew then took his time to go over a few other settings on the unit, my TV and Blu-Ray. He wanted everything working at its optimum level and that I was completely satisfied. As I have previously mentioned they provided the best customer support I have encountered. I have previously dealt with a different A/V store, where there was very little customer support. Aura-Design is my new place to shop for A/V and home automation... Steve

Working with Aura Design has been such a pleasure from the initial experience in their showroom to the design process and installation/configuration with their experts. Aura was always there listening to my needs and the requirements and challenges in our new condo. Even after the initial install we realized some components were not perfect and they easily made the changes required. Everyone who sees and listens to the new home Theater are amazed at the quality and especially at the solution that is practically invisible when not in use, let alone the tight automation integration with Alexa. More recently we had a dead pixel appear on our JVC projector within warranty and within 1 hour of texting Stephane they had coordinated the pickup of the unit and I’m now getting a brand new projector Installed and configured/tuned back Into to my system within 1 week. I am truly happy with their service and professionalism and would highly recommend Aura Design.

Walked into aura design talked to Jason about my situation and on his recommendation based on my needs he had recommended the anthem mrx received to take advantage of my oled screen and paradigms and omg! Both my tv display look so much better with pass thru video and my paradigms have come back to life! The sound from the receiver and speakers is shocking! I had challenges setting up receiver bit Jason was there every step of the way to ensure my complete satisfaction! He delivered beyond my expectations and his knowledge and advice was always in my best interest and not his pocket book! They truly care to see you have the best experience ever possible when it come to audio and video experience! They carry quality products at extremely reasonable prices and they care about the after sale satisfaction of their customers! They are only happy when they know we as customers are happy!

It's been over 11 years since I've had a decent home theater - my kids are 11, coincidence? Aura Design installed my home network and theater system, and I can't believe how pleased I am still. I was very impressed with the team sent - they were on time, did the job well, and were friendly and fun to deal with. Customer service stayed in touch via email and text and responded quickly to my questions. I feel that all the staff gave me personal attention during all communications. We’ve used Stéphane and his team’s services twice. Once in 2016, and then again in 2020. Both times, they spent a great deal of time with us in the design process and automation of the homes. The team worked hand in hand with other trades during the construction and all aspect from wiring to installation of all electronics were done with “white glove service”. Even years later, the entire team is only a quick email away, if we’ve needed upgrades or modifications to our system. Would highly recommend them.

I'm not one to write a review but thought I must. When you walk in to the time you leave you get nothing but excellent service. I'm no audiophile but got excellent answers to my questions and ended up buying amazing speakers. I do feel however with the way the world of ordering online that audio stores are dying out.
