"They are dishonest"
"Wonderful experience"
"Missy is the best !!!! She took time out of her schedule to help get my new cervelo just right with the aero bars positioning , I bought a cannondale from them earlier on and I really love how they set up the cockpit"
"This has been my shop since the beginning (my beginning in atx, anyway)"
"Took my bike to them for re-build"
They are dishonest. I went to fix flat tire, it was flatted again just after several hours. So I wondered if they really replaced to new one, yes they were. They replaced my 700x28c tube to 700x18-25c tube. It has to be flatted. They are so deceiteful. If you don't want to waste your time and money, you'd better not go there. …
Wonderful experience. Some shops like these are filled with faces that are neither warm nor inviting. Walking in to Austin Tri I felt welcomed and was put into the hands of Missy to check out the wetsuit options for the upcoming Ironman, she was informative, professional, and incredibly easy to talk to. I look forward to returning.
Missy is the best !!!! She took time out of her schedule to help get my new cervelo just right with the aero bars positioning , I bought a cannondale from them earlier on and I really love how they set up the cockpit. Feels great !!! Highly recommend for any level cyclist or triathlete , thank you missy you made my day !
This has been my shop since the beginning (my beginning in atx, anyway). I had a coach that regular'd here. They have kept me riding even on my non-race/road bikes. Missy, the owner is fabulously inspiring, as she is an active athlete herself. The shop boys shouldn't give you trouble, esp if you tell them Carrie sent ya.
Took my bike to them for re-build. The second I got on my bike I felt the brake was loose then when I tried to shift my chaining from big gear to small gear the chain FELL OFF! I don't know how they can call this "READY TO GO". This is the worst experience I have ever had with any bike shop in the world.
These guys have held parts for me, given me free adjustments, great advice, found great prices for high-quality used parts, and have been super welcoming every time I come in. I can't recommend them enough. And they're the only shop in the city that works on Cervelo bikes as far as I know.
First rate experience from friendly people at a reasonable price. We were in Austin for the Formula 1 race and in need of bike repairs. John graciously took us in as if we regular customers. Enjoyed the laid-back vibe of the store. Enjoyed good brisket at the BBQ place next door too.
So impressed with these guys! I came in for assistance with my new electric bike. The chain was loose and my bike needed some adjustments. They fixed me up quickly and I were super helpful. Thanks again Chris!!! I definitely recommend this place for any needed bike repairs.
Awesome shop. Fixed a spoke and trued up the rim. Seems like they tweaked the gears too, all at a very reasonable price. I’ve been riding to work for many years, been in Austin for only 3. This place made me feel like Austin has always been my hometown, thanks Tri-cyclist.
Even though I didn't buy this bike there I took my Giant TCR2 in for a tune-up. They turned it around in less than a day and did an absolutely outstanding job. My bike hasn't braked so well, shifted so effortlessly or ridden so smoothly for years. Top-notch in every way!
These guys have been hooking me up with everything swim, run and bike for decades! They know and live this stuff, have all the great gear and are always super-helpful. The bike repair/maintenance shop is on point and they're also a local business: shop here.
Super helpful. I needed some mineral oil to top off my brakes and although they did not have it for sale they found a glass jar, cleaned it and put some oil in there for me to take home. I only had to pay a few bucks and was on my way. That deserves praise.
I was referred to this place by a friend, and they made what could have been an overwhelming experience, easy and fun. I got my bike and helmet in no time at all. I'm very thankful that my buddy referred me to them. Thanks guys for your customer service.
Extremely poor customer service which is very sad to see, when customer service is the only thing bike shops have left to do well in order to support themselves. My boyfriend and I were visiting Austin for a long weekend, and wanted to rent
I took my time with finding a bike and the staff was amazing in helping work out all my questions as a first time TT bike purchase. I wouldn't get my bike serviced or purchase one anywhere else in Austin after doing some shopping around and
I had two quite different experiences at this place. The first was several years ago, before their remodeling. I needed to buy some mountain bike tires to replace a pair which were full of embedded cactus-spines. I walked in and was greeted
Great bicycle shop I’ve been coming here for years just haven’t written a review but after my last visit I thought I’d should. I have the Cervélo S5 and I recently purchased a Garmin from ATC so I ordered a mount for it online. The screws
I have had nothing but good experiences dealing with this shop and the people who work there. I get the impression that they use the stuff they sell and it shows. Several years ago, they let me take a Cervelo S5 for a test ride and didn't
Great folks! Helped me get a bike with a good feel within my price range, as well as being informative of certain legal aspects such as lights when riding at night. Very affordable, and overall I love the simplicity of my new bike. It was
The most professional experience I’ve ever had when building a bike. Their experienced techs asked all the right questions, educated me on what I needed to know as a new road cyclist and made great suggestions to what components I needed.
I was visiting Austin and ended buying my Cannondale here in Dec. 2019, and the bike has been amazing! I was not sure which type of bike I was going to get, and they guided me pretty good, I tried a couple of them, and they were patient,
I had a problem with a constant flat on my back tire. 3 consecutive days in a row. My eyes are bad when trying to see up close. I couldnt find the problem. They looked at it and found small shards of glass in the tire. They pulled it all
These folks are great. Easy to deal with an none of the attitude that you might expect walking into a "bro shop." I've worked in bike retail for half my life and I was looking for a shop that had the right kind of expertise and knowledge
Bought a high end bike recently. Small place looks like a western bar/place to tie up your horse. I was helped by Don. They are nice people. Friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Went back for some minor things and they recognized me and
was only there once or twice, but the mechanics were able to find me white cable/housing for my road bike which i could not find @ the other local bike shops that were close. since i didn't want to wait and order online this was a plus.
Austin Tri-Cyclist is the best place in Austin for triathletes! I have visited several times for gear and bike tune-ups and have never been disappointed. I finally decided to upgrade from a basic road bike to a tri bike and ATC was the
Took my bike in to get it repaired and they offered to buy it or give me a store credit. I said I was interested. I then had to go out of the state for work for the flooding in CA. When I got back to get my bike I was told it was sold!
Would highly recommend Austin Tri-Cyclist. We were in town for the weekend and wanted to rent bicycles. Missy and company were very accommodating in the return process and exceptionally helpful in getting fit with very nice bikes and
A quirky but fantastic bike shop. I appreciate a private local business as the team has been around for a long time and actual cares about the customer and fixing the problem. You walk in and people remember you and know your bike
Best service and most knowledgeable staff I've ever seen. The environment is very chill and welcoming. A different kind of bike shop experience in all the best possible ways. Best shoe and clothing selection in town by far.
Very friendly and very helpful guys, they helped me with an electric scooter that they just tried their best to work on even though they'd never worked on scooters before. Great people! Highly recommend!
Staff is great and service is top notch. Great prices too! Other shops I've been to always tell me the problem. This guy at ATC focused on the solution and worked out the problem in his head. Great job!
Best bicycle shop in Austin. Got a custom built Cervelo bike from them in 2016. Over years the bike was serviced only at this shop, every time it rides as the brand new. Their guys are always friendly.
I love this place ..this shop has helped me so much with bike tune ups and emergencies..kind and welcoming..they also helped my woman to find a nice bike for herself and set her up perfectly
The guys at Austin Tri were very helpful getting me on the right bike and making sure everything fit properly. They are experts and took great care of me. I will be a loyal customer for life.
A great bike shop with friendly knowledgeable staff. Ps. Terry BBQ RESTAURANT visitors PAY THE BIKE SHOP for use of their parking space ... youd want the same respect if it were you.
Everyone at the bike shop is super nice and provided me the best customer service when I went to pick up my bike. I will definitely come back to get accessories and appareal :)
Bought a bike from here online. Turned out to not be what I expected. The owner was very curtious and payed for return shipping and refuneded me fully. Great customer service.
Very helpful staff, great location. I've had my bicycle fixed and refurbished there several times. You can get your bike gear, swim stuff or running gear in the same place.
Definitely not the kind of place a novice should shop as the staff and owner are pretty pretentious. You have to be one of their kind to not be low key ridiculed.
Austin Tri-Cyclist has nice full bike service at a reasonable price, they don't over charge unlike some other shops in the area do. Highly recommend coming here.
I recently had these guys service the free hub on my gravel bike and it sounds so much more "clickier" now. I feel so pro every time I freewheel or backpedal.
Bought a used bike that needed repair to ride without breaking down . I took it here and they fixed it like new for a great price and in a timely fashion .
Tri-Cyclist is just a great bike shop. They are always welcoming and eager to help out. Bike and parts selection is fantastic. Highly recommended!
Called them to inquire about getting my brakes repaired. The person who answered the phone was rude, dismissive, and kept interrupting me.
Have been here for bike service several times. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that do great work. Have always had great experiences.
WOW! -What a great location and vibe this shop has! The employees (and John the Mechanic) are all lovers of bikes and really make
Dishonest and unprofessional. Brought in my bike with a broken chain and for a tune up. They said the front
This could be a really special store: lots of space, the best brands, great location, etc.
Amazing service with super knowledgeable employees. It’s the only bike shop I’ll go to
