If I could give less stars I would. I visited this location looking for a vehicle, after not being able to negotiate a decent price for the car I was interested in I stayed in contact with my sales person in the event I couldn't find a better deal. I returned a few days later inquiring about the same car and was told that it was ready to go and also told it was a hot commodity and I needed to seal the deal soon. After running back and forth to my bank to get acceptable payments, (they don't accept draft checks) I finalized the deal with my sales person and met with finance to sign all the required documents and hand them my check. After 3 hours the "sale" was complete. It was then that I walked out to inform my sales person only to be informed that I could not take my car home due to some services that still needed to be done. Not fully understanding I inquired about when the services would be completed, to which I was told that the part had not come in yet to complete the service even though I signed paperwork stating that this car had passed all inspections. I was told by my sales person that they would contact me the following day and inform as to when I can pick up my vehicle only to find out they they were off the following day. I returned the following day to speak with the manager who basically told me that there was no ETA on the service part that was needed and I could either wait for the services to be done or cancel the sale. I cancelled the sale and would not recommend this company to anyone. To sell a vehicle that is not ready to drive off the lot is very deceptive. Reading through other reviews this similar incident has happened quite a few times. Very unprofessional and the fact that even the manager wasn't surprised by what happened tells me this is normal practice for this company. I have not included any names of parties involved due to the fact that I have filed complaints with multiple agencies against them.

Vehicle shopping can be a nightmare due to the often frustrating negotiation process with dealership employees who are trained to push unwanted upgrades and warranties. This has caused us to walk out of showrooms in frustration in the past. However, our experience at AutoNation in Katy, Texas was exceptional. Because of their excellence in customer service, we have purchased four high end vehicles from RJ Williams, Alan Schmitt and AutoNation USA Katy. We will not go anywhere else.

DO NOT BUY HERE! Our salesman Kaylon, was new and was extremely helpful, the vehicle was presented well and he made sure items discovered during their inspection and our initial test drive were addressed, however an additional item was identified by us during the 5 day after purchase return window. We informed them, returned the vehicle and they agreed to repair the item they said it was, then after having it for 3 days they determined it was something else and it would cost them too much considering what they had already repaired so they reversed that decision. Leaving us with an already purchased car in need of the repair, an expensive deluxe warranty that was not active yet, 30 days from purchase it becomes active. The Management did offer to put us in another car of equal value, yeah great! the car had been in their possession for most of the time making the repairs they identified and evaluating the one we identified that they opted not to repair after agreeing to do so. They did agree to do repairs under warranty after it is active. We decided to not deal with them any longer. We will take car for repair somewhere else once warranty is active, they do not back up their agreements with customer. They show they have a service department during warranty discussion but it actually isn’t, when you call and ask for service department they tell you they don’t have one. it is only a shop to fix the minimum items they can to sell the car.

My overall experience was great! I came in to test drive a car but unfortunately, it had been transferred to another location in the city. I ended up test driving another vehicle but wasn’t satisfied and said no. Thanks to Adam, I was able to test drive the car I initially came in to look at because he was so kind to drive and pick it up after hours! Adam was absolutely delightful and helpful: he listened intently to all of my wants and needs for a new vehicle. He was patient through out the whole process and understood any of my concerns. Truthfully, I’m very picky and it’s quite difficult to get a “yes” out of me. He never pressured me and I felt comfortable being open with him especially during times when I became overwhelmed. In addition, Will also made my experience wonderful. He was my financial advisor and definitely did a lot to make sure I got the number I wanted and so much more. He was very patient, understanding, and also listened carefully to any major concerns. Truly, I recommend working with these two as they made the whole buying experience smooth and comfortable. My fiancé and I purchased a new Mercedes from this location. Overall, it was a good deal, but the customer service was awful. 1. The vehicle was sold to us without an updated inspection. Our paper plates expired less than 7 days after we drove it off the lot. We are now having to return for an inspection that Only they can do. 2. The vehicle license plate bracket was installed by idiots. They drilled holes into the actual car because the bracket itself was broken instead of properly installing their stupid pink plates. 3. The car was promised to be detailed by Barry the salesman after it was sold to us. It was not even vacuumed. 4. The entire process of buying the car took over 5 hours. They were understaffed on Black Friday. 5. The car didn’t even have the push to start button and only had one set of keys. If you want a decent deal on a used car then this is a decent place to go. If you want good customer service go elsewhere.

They accepted and purchased my wheelchair accessible van with no hassle and same day offer. I took the van to United Access Houston where I originally purchased the van initially. They never communicated with me on an offer. I was told I was hear from them in 2 days which turned into 1 week I had to call united access 6836 North Sam Houston location to inquire about an offer. United Access specializes in these accessible vehicles so I expected better service and communication. I will definitely give Autonation Katy my business for selling or purchasing a vehicle in the future. They are also very personable and considerate. It was very emotional for me to sell my van since my daughter passed away I no longer had a use for it Thank you, Chris T

Most unprofessional and untrustworthy “dealership” and staff. I tried really hard to like them because of the fact i was acquiring my dream car which turned out to be a nightmare and I’ve gone deeply in my pocket to fix right. They literally messed up every aspect of financing a car. Don’t even bother asking for help they will laugh at you as if you’re a bother. Young guy was my half-salesman because he was completely lost, the managers are fumbling brutes who will drive you in circles until you succumb to there mistakes. Don’t even get me started on scamming finance agent. Save yourself a headache, and regret. I speak from experience. Go to a real dealership. How they have a 4 star rating is beyond me and I strongly suspect foul play.

I've bought 2 cars from Roger already. He's been a consumate professional. Made sure that my car was ready to test drive, and that my old car got an appraisal while we were gone. Saved tons of time! Even though I decided not to trade it in, it was appreciated. The paperwork process was super easy - no hiccups at all. I was in and out very quickly with great products and all my questions answered. My car was missing a mirror cap that was on backorder. I completely understood becuase of the holidays and supply chain issues. Roger even followed up to make sure it was ordered, let me know when it arrived and ensured that it was painted and ready for install ASAP. Nothing but great things to say. Will definitely come back. It was exactly what we we’re looking for. We had never even considered a Pathfinder. It was the only car we took for a test drive test day, and we were able to buy it that day, at a better interest rate than offered by our credit union. It's my first ever with AutoNation, so I didn't know what to expect. My previous dealings with use cars were all dealerships. Sam did a fantastic job to take care of me. There was a post driveout check engine light that AutoNation took quick care of. On my way to pick up car, the uber lady was asking about Infiniti cars. I said buy it from AutoNation. They will most likely have it. Would recommend AutoNation to everyone looking for a competitively priced used car. Great service, great price, and great experience... Would’ve caught this sooner but they mailed me my paperwork 8 days after vehicle purchase.

Went to get a truck from them transaction went smoothly but still waiting on the 2nd set of keys that they clearly noted in their inventory, gave the run around on the tags because of insurance that was clearly active, maybe it was because I used my own bank and declined the extended insurance for $6k more??? They should stay professional even when the deal doesn't go their way at times.
