Updated review: They sold me gap coverage that i didnt qualify for and left me with 3200 dollars owed on my car. They had me thinking i was covered for a year before the car was totalled and i found out it was a bogus policy. They are probaby doing it to others as well to make an extra 650 per sale and youd never know if you didnt wreck. Go somewhere else!! I'd give them less than 1 star if i could. I reported them to the better business bureau and will be reporting them to the indiana insurance commission. I hope they get audited. Im convinced they knew it was a bogus policy because they dodged my calls for 3 weeks before finally telling me. How do you know about my issue for that long and then magically find out after three weeks!? Initial review: The buying experience seemed fine. I never had any issues until about a year when the car was totalled. I got gap coverage on my car when we bought it and days after the wreck i called autosavvy and confirmed i had gap and they sent me the proof so i could forward it along to my lienholder. However, I called the gap company and they said they had no record of my policy. I called autosavvy Customer support and they said they would reach out to the gap company. They did call me back that time and told me that i had gap coverage but someone messed up the paperwork so i was never registered in the gap companys system even though they got my money. Customer support reiterated that i had gap and gave me the general manager's number and told me he would be the one to contact. I spent about three weeks calling them on all my days off and after 3 weeks just made contact with him today. Ive left about 5 messages and the other 12 calls went to the mailbox which was full. On the few occasions an associate answered the phone, id ask for anthony and theyd say," hes on the other line, can he call you back?" Then theyd transfer me to his mailbox and the box would be full or id leave a message and he'd never call back. I became even more frustrated after calling Customer support the last two weekends. I called them as well to get assistance after making no progress with the gm. Talked to someone. Got the whole," ill look into it and call you back". They never did call me back two different times.
Please don’t ever buy a car here. Unfortunately i did, they butter everything up and make it seem like they would never do you wrong but they will. Matt is sales was a really nice guy. Other than the fact he informed me the vehicle i was looking at , had some damage. Of course i didn’t get to see the list of damage until i was there ( 2.5 hour commute ). On top of that whatever system they use to get your tags/title issued is just awful. I purchased the car and it’s been one month i still have a temp tag and haven’t received anything in the mail to get my hard tag, and have no clue how to access my loan to make my monthly bill. Specifically Brittany, the lady that you will speak with about your tags, was extremely rude and lied to me about how they can only issue you 1 temp tag, yet all the information and forms needed for me to get my hard tag they didn’t inform me until 2 days before my tag would expire. Of course after speaking to a manager they issue me a 2nd temp tag because they dropped the ball and are overall lazy. Including the lot tech, i spoke with Matt on a Wednesday and scheduled to come look at the vehicle on a Saturday morning. Showed up and had to wait 45 mins for the car to be “clean”, numerous spots were still dirty. A premium spit shine job. Finally when the car was done the lot tech just tosses the keys a solid 30 feet to the salesman , thankfully he caught them but still so unprofessional. Just overall a very unorganized dealership, trust me they act all nice to your face but after you leave with that car they could care less about you. Please don’t waste your time with this place.
Damon was fantastic!! We were coming in from another state to look at/purchase a vehicle; he took multiple videos and pictures to send me. He was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. He alone gets 5 stars!! As for only giving 4 stars: 1. They dropped the price of the vehicle online but did not tell us that or give it to us at that newer, lower price. I found this out after the fact and feel this is dishonest. 2. There was an imperfection that I had not known about prior to driving there, so they gave me some $ off for that, but not the full amount it will cost me to replace the part, so that’s a huge bummer. 3. The big reason and honestly I want to only give 2 stars for this: Being from out of state, they charged me a pretty hefty fee to use a 3rd party company to register and title the vehicle. They knew where I was coming from and never quoted me for that. I’ve purchased vehicles in other states before and have never been told that I have to do it this way and pay money I was not prepared for. Highly, highly, highly disappointing. The finance guy said he couldn’t do it any other way, and I’m just not sure I believe that. I have always titled and registered my vehicles in my own state at my own DMV. Again, Damon was awesome and he gets 5 stars. As for the rest, 2-3 stars.
I give Damon and Zach a NO star review if I could. We had told Damon that we wanted $14,000 for our car, he didn’t pass that on, the paperwork said Zach gave us $12,000. Zach said he would talk to his manager about getting the $2,000 back to us.I asked Damon how much is the deductible for the $4,000 protection plan, he said $200 & it was $500. We asked him for owners manual & he said that we would have to print it off our computer. I ask him about the car fax & he said that the driver front & back doors were damaged. We didn’t get a car fax but I looked it up when I got home and found out that the car was totaled in 2022. Zach did not go over or explain anything with us but instead RUSHED us through the signatures. Nothing that was promised was given. Only one key fob and remote start he said that he would order another key fob and no one has contacted us about the remote start. I am so disappointed that we were taken advantage of! I am going to get on Yelp and BBB if nothing is done to correct inconsistencies that we had to deal with. We will be waiting to see what Auto Savvy will do before we write reviews on Yelp and BBB
I would not recommend anyone to buy anything from this place. They told us they were giving us a $14,000 trade-in, but only gave us $12,000. When we asked for the car fax, they said they would, but then changed the subject & we forgot about it. Then Zack (the financial guy) rushed us through the paperwork & wouldn't let us stop to read it. When we got home, we looked up the car fax & found out that the car had been totaled. When we left there, we were driving and the car shuddered a few times. When we asked about it they explained that that was an efficiency feature. The salesman that we talked to was named Damon. So please STAY AWAY from Auto Savvy. All the inconsistancies are not worth the trouble.
I called in about a car and talked to a sale s person inquiring about a 2020 dodge charger sales men was pretty nice un til the deal was final sales gie said the car went threw inspection and was cleaned and sent pic of it also said it had a factory warranty and then after the factory warranty it had a 5 year 100000 mile warranty come to fine out it was a lie salesperson said the car had a clean car fax come to fine out the warranty is no good warranty is no good the dealer told me to bring the car in and they would swap me out that was also a lie they are not honest people do not go their straight up liars if I could give 0 stars I would do not shop their dishonest people
I recently purchased my first car last week. Not only am I please by the service at AutoSavvy, but the effort and punctuality was effortless. I kept eyeballing this car and went plenty of dealership and all gave me the run around. The sale rep Damon went above and beyond to ensure my ultimate satisfaction. Arrange for a payment plan that work for me, worked with my credit, and didn’t try to discourage my choice because of it. I communicating what car I wanted and he made sure I got exactly that! Autosavvy save me a lot and I’m blessed I chose them. Great staff, great care, and great seeing- you can’t get beat that!
I will definitely be a return customer. The car I got is fantastic and the service was even better. Nothing was hidden from me and everything was exactly as they said. I would highly recommend anyone in the market for a car check them out. The whole process was fast and everyone there worked hard to make it that way. It was easily the smoothest car buying experience I’ve ever had. The salesman Damon Stafford is a great guy and while I was dealing with him it didn’t even seem like I was buying a car. He’s great.
We worked with Matt. Great, young gentleman! He walked us through each of the 3 cars we looked at and was very thorough and detailed. He had the answer to every question we had. The gm is a wonderful, down to earth guy. He and Matt worked together and went through many obstacles to help my fiancé and I own our brand new vehicle. They were very patient and helpful through this process. We were able to get everything we asked for all a wonderful price. 10/10 would recommend to anyone searching for a vehicle!
!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! I have been trying to get my refund on my GAP insurance for over a month now and the General Manager Anthony does nothing to help. instead he gave me his business card and when I texted him about the issue he had blocked my phone number. They are extremely nice when you're buying a car but they could care less about you once they have sold you the car. I wish I would have listened to all the reviews and went to another dealership.
I already had in mind what I wanted but didn't expect to be able to drive the vehicle home, which was an hour and 20 minutes away to get a feel if I really wanted it .... Andrew was very pleasant from the get go and very entertaining to my what would have been bored daughter . He even let my daughter take his personal charger on our long drive home so her phone wouldn't die on the way ... Great place , great people !!!
Bought a car almost 4 weeks ago. They took unauthorized money as a deposit. They owe me money I have spoke with their financial advisor told me twice he would send check. Haven't received anything. On top of that my main issue was I was told the O2 sensor and radio would be fixed no charge. I have had my time wasted by going back and forth up there to get it fixed now They tell me I have to pat out of pocket
