Rented a car for my trip in Ottawa. Was close to the train station so I picked this location. When I entered, there were 5 people in front of me and only 1 worker. The worker took forever helping out the first customer. I was in line for 45 minutes until it was finally helped out. Once I was helped out, it was quick, I got the vehicle I wanted and he gave me the suv with winter tires for free since I waited so long. While driving to my hotel I realized the car was beeping and saying warning every 10 seconds non stop. I checked all the settings in the car and nothing was set to make the car beep. I was concerned it was a safety issue so I had to drive all the way to the Avis at the airport to switch it out since the location I picked it up from closed at 1. I would recommend getting a rental from the Avis at the Ottawa airport instead, there was no line, multiple workers, and the car they gave me works great.

3 stars because I got a car when I booked one through my company (Microsoft Canada), but when I wanted to return it on Sunday it said that it opened at 8h00am,and I wanted to wait for an agent to be here and get the receipt + register my AirMiles card. But I waited until 8h15am and it was still closed, I then finally dropped the keys on the key drop hole. I didn't get my receipt, and I didn't get my AirMiles points registered... fact that it was still closed at 8h15am although it said hours on Sunday are 8h00am -> 4h00pm is not very professional.

Booked mystery car was old and had engine warning light on car was making funny noise under driver seat on and off . Went back at depot and explained been told it’s fine if anything goes wrong come back we will swap car for you . Didn’t been out of city decided to stay local was worried if car breakdown while with family on motorway . Even police stop and asked for numbe plate expired expaline it is hired car . What a week wasted definitely wasted time and $892 could hire much better

I rented a car to be dropped in different location. As per the staff they knew that i am coming to take the car and the car was assigned and even i arrived in earlier the car was not ready and there were a delay in getting the car as they were prepared. At home before the trip i found that the car was not cleaned as it should be. Three week before Avis staff at Windsor airport were better in checking the care and let me feel i am special avis customer as i used with Avis

Will never rent from that location again. Staff have no customer service skills whatsoever. My rental had an overpowering smell of weed and airfreshner. Car was given to my half full, I returned it with 3/4 full tank and got charged as charged for not filling it up. Had to call to have the fix. Night and day experience compared to other Ottawa locations.

Sydney is knowledgeable and helpful, but car depicted in image was a lot larger than what was available although they sat the same # of ppl...the rebound car seemed nice but it was actually really dirty once we hopped in. Had to vacuum it and wipe it down before take off, cars shouldn't be going out to rent in Thai state.

If there’s zero Star will good that so they don’t answer the phone plus you will get charge for nothing after 6 weeks and no explanation why they are charging you so late?!? For you peace of mind stay way from this place.. if you need a headache make sure you’re ready to take a medication …

Worst experience ever. Even with the pandemic out there they gave me the car super dirty. On the back seat I found a bag of McDonald's and a soda drink left in the cup holder. On top of everything the car needed oil change and windshield.

I came here to book a car for vacation and it was super busy and only one clerk serving everyone. Even tho it was overwhelming Jeff was super patient and friendly with everyone. Very professional and efficient.

I rented a car for one day and the guy charged me $300, like really??? then he lied that I will see my money in 2 days, nothing yet. I am very disappointed. Worst company to rent a car

I went to rent a pick up truck and asking me for a valid passport like I’m living a Canada why the hell do I need a dam passport to rent a car when I have my drivers license

Bad service, cars always dirty, no windshield washer, you complain nothing's fone about it on many occasions cars are dirty inside and out especially inside the windshield

I rented a car for one day, and the guy put $500 hold on my credit. He told me I will see it in one to two days. It is been more than two days and nothing yet.

Worst place to rent from. Unprofessional, lack of good customer service. Under staffed and long wait time. Take my advice, book somewhere else.

Good service, reasonable selection of vehicles. Prices need work but what Prices don't nowadays. I will rent again.

Total scam, they fudge which day you return the car to enable them to charge penalty fees
