This florist creates unique breathtaking arrangements far superior to the common bouquets found on all the online services. I have lived in small towns and large cities across Canada and the U.S. including Vancouver, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and multiple others. This florist and one in Phoenix are my favorites that I have ever used over many years. I needed flowers to be sent to a loved one in Vancouver General Hospital and saw the same boring arrangements previewed on every website.... until I checked Balconi's site, having chosen them for proximity on Google maps. I chose the "Modern White and Green". When I placed the order, the florist asked whether I would prefer a scaled back version at a lower cost so that it might fit in the smaller space usually present in hospital rooms. She offered to save me money and still produce a beautiful product! I explained that I knew this room had space and that she could make it full sized. The clerk made some suggestions to customize the arrangement further with no extra cost. Someone sent me a photo of the finished product and it was the perfect expression of our love for my hospitalized relative. The telephone service was friendly and the delivery timing was exactly as promised. (I have also learned, over the years, that calling the florist directly will result in all of your money going directly in to your flowers, rather than some of the money being taken by the online service or intermediate shops that forward your order to another city.) I'm so happy I found Balconi !!!

I had been following Balconi Florals for a while on Instagram and knew that we had to have them do our florals for the wedding! However, during the process of finalizing our florals, the covid restrictions went from 50 people to 10 people. This changed our entire game plan and we cut down our flowers to just a bouquet and boutanniere. Stephanie was so understanding of the situation and told us that they're happy to just do those two items for us. However, 2 weeks before our wedding date, the restrictions lifted and our 50 person wedding was back on the table. We contacted Balconi Florals immediately to ask if we could go add more flowers on short notice and Stephanie just said "no problem, leave it to me". Our wedding flowers were SO beautiful. So many guests commented on how beautiful they looked and smelled. Stephanie was also very generous with the flowers and she captured our theme perfectly! She was incredibly accommodating with our ever changing plans and she made the experience of booking vendors during covid stress free. We could not recommend Stephanie enough and she will go above and beyond to make your special day beautiful!

I am SO impressed with Balconi Floral Design Studio! I called Balconi on a Monday morning and Ivana assisted me with my custom order for an anniversary arrangement for my parents. She was able to help me create a dried floral arrangement that met my budget along with a gift box. I wanted something similar to their Tess arrangement online but bigger and Ivana was able to accommodate my request. Not only that, but they made a same day delivery by 4pm and my parents absolutely loved the flowers & gift box! Very reasonable price and delivery fee for the quality of flowers and vase that they put together. I didn't get to see the arrangement until my mom sent me a picture and it exceeded my expectations by far! Stephanie created an absolutely stunning bridal bouquet and boutonniere for my sister's wedding. I sent her a *lot* of very detailed requests (colours, flowers, shape, size, ribbon, foilage) and she matched everything I wanted absolutely perfectly, even better than I could have imagined. I'm still impressed with how patient she was with me. (I have to say I was kinda bridezilla even though I wasn't even the bride! This gift for my sister was very important.) She gave me knowledgeable suggestions and asked questions and for clarification when needed, which I appreciated a lot. The bride and groom were thrilled on their wedding day. Stephanie is a phenomenal shop owner and exudes excellent customer service! Right from when I came in I was admiring the beautiful displays and well kept flowers and bouquets. You can tell she loves taking care of each and every petal. She welcomed me and even made a customized arrangement for me that I was gifting. She knew exactly what I was thinking and even added extra sentiments to spruce up the plant. Although it may be pricy, you’re getting what you pay for. Especially with the unique pots and plants as well as the experience. She welcomes anyone regardless if they’re there to spend or not and even encouraged me to come around just to view the plants whenever I wanted to. Thank you Stephanie! I’ll be back ❤️

It's so hard to find a florist whose end product actually looks like the marketing photos online, but these do! After trying so many places in the lower mainland and being disappointed, I'm so happy to have found a florist with great taste and who uses high quality flowers. Our arrangement was beyond perfect and the service was excellent. If you're looking for more elegant & chic bouquets, this is your place. The colour schemes offered here made it a real winner for me. These are the type of arrangements that women would pick for ourselves... not the tacky stock online delivery options you see elsewhere!

The staff at her studio are always so friendly and they design beautiful gifts and bouquets for any special occasion right on the spot! I've bought from Balconi three times but my majority experience here has been disappointing. In both of my last two orders, they had to give me flowers other than what I paid for. Neither of the flowers I chose online were labelled as out of stock. I'd like to have had the chance to order a bigger bouquet from them, but their lack of consistency and reliability does not convince me to spend the extra dollars here. I will not be giving them a fourth chance for fear of them having to give me another disappointing phone call.

My fiance and I went to see Stephanie for our wedding floral consultation. Stephanie was so patient, had great ideas, and asked so many great questions! I felt like she cared and genuinely wanted our wedding to look good. Based on our answers and pinned photos from Pinterest and IG, she showed us some of her work at the studio. They all looked REALLY good. Through the questions and suggestions, you could tell she's got lots of experience working with the diff types of venues in Vancouver.

I've lived in Vancouver for 25 years and this is hands down the best florist I've ever been to. The staff have exceptional taste if you need suggestions, they are friendly, genuine, and care about everything they do! I've recommended them to everyone who asks "do you know a good place for flowers in Vancouver?". They are one of the few places that produce bouquets identical (or better!) to their photos online. If you're looking for quality flowers, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Beautiful flowers and planters here! I got the time in a bottle for my friend’s birthday and asked for white wrapping paper and pastel colours. They did everything I asked for and were super helpful throughout the process. I loved it so much that I came back to get some peonies and a succulent for myself! My favourite florist! They have the most beautiful arrangements. I came during Christmas time and they were selling local chocolates, candles and other gift items. They would wrap it up for you so it looked beautiful and presentable. The owners here are super sweet. I can't recommend enough!

It has not been open once on time as advertised on the store front hours. I have been past many times and each time it has been closed when advertised as open. Don’t go there unless you call to see if they are open first.
