[EDIT - 2/16 update] Further to my already-troubling experience on Feb 14, I wanted to add that the FF experience got worse. In the evening, FF did in fact call - however, rather than calling the person who purchased the flowers (me), they opted to contact my wife and ask if she had received flowers. At the time, they also opted to tell my wife that they would refund the delivery fee. The next morning, I received an email confirming a courier fee had been refunded to me. End-to-end, I never once received a phone call directly from FF to either apologize, or discuss any 'terms'. The non-existence of any form of customer service with this business is truly appalling. To make matters worse, I had recommended a colleague to make his Valentine's Day bouquet purchase from FF this year. He experienced the same issue on Monday with a late delivery, but had a completely different experience. When FF realized his flowers were not delivered, they went out of their way to create a free, second bouquet, and rushed it to his house so his wife could come home to flowers. The following day (Tue), the courier attempted to re-deliver the first bouquet again...and upon realizing that the recipient was working out of a different office that day, then proceeded to drive from Coquitlam back to Vancouver to complete the delivery. It's extremely disappointing to hear such variations in experiences, and unfortunate that ultimately, the person who referred this customer to FF was the one who received the worst possible experience. FF can be absolutely certain of one thing - I certainly will NEVER refer this business to anyone again. --------------------------------- [Original Review - 2/14] I've used Flower Factory a number of times in the past, but after today's experience, can say for absolute certainty that I will NEVER use them again. Ever. I ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to my wife's office and provided a specific 8hr delivery window. I went back into the store last Fri to update the delivery window. After speaking with the woman in the store, I paid special care to ensuring she wrote down the change. Not only did she mark down the time, she also underlined "BEFORE 2PM" and told me "don't worry, we will make sure these flowers get there on time." Sure enough, my wife did not receive any flowers today. I contacted FF at around 2:40pm and the woman I spoke with was completely unapologetic. She started with "we're very busy today it's valentine's day". Yes it is. And it's Valentine's day EVERY Feb 14. It doesn't change. Next, she asked for my delivery location, and I mentioned "Burnaby". She then responded "oh yes, those all left at 9am this morning, they will deliver by 5pm". Great -- except my wife is not at the office after 2pm. But if you paid ANY attention to the notes on the order, you would've known that. It took a while before she even offered to contact the courier for me to suggest an alternate delivery address, which serves only to ensure my wife receives what I paid for....all element of surprise/excitement is already lost. Let's make one thing clear - if you're depending on a florist to make an experience happen in your life - DON'T BET ON FLOWER FACTORY. Businesses that operate on seasonal times should know how to plan accordingly. Do what needs to be done, but your business/reputation is dependent on your ability to uphold your commitments. Do not charge a customer for something you cannot deliver upon. "Late is better than never" does not apply in the service sector where time is an utmost priority. Will spend tonight doing damage control with my wife. Thanks, Flower Factory.

This shop is well known to be one of the preeminent flower shops in the city. They are always busy checking Internet or phone orders or walk-in orders. There are also a variety of cut flowers and potted plants as well as cards and soaps and other interesting items in the shop laid out all the time. I’ve always been highly impressed with the phone orders are placed as the recipients of the flowers are always blown away by the freshness and arrangement provided. This time I walked into the shop when it just opened on the weekend and they were already busy in the back doing all of their arrangements. I was greeted right away however and today I ordered a large arrangement for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The person attending me got some pertinent details and preferences that I wanted and set to work. About 20 minutes later, I returned to the shop and was greeted by just a massive and spectacular arrangement truly worthy of a mile stone anniversary. The value for money in the shop is very high. The expertise of the Florists in the shop is beyond compare. They are truly professional and know their business well. You really know they hit the nail on the head when you leave the shop and carry your flowers to your car and people are slowing down on both sides of the road to stare at the arrangement in your hands. I highly recommend Flower Factory for all your floral needs. Will continue to make this a regular stop as well as my go to for delivery orders to both critical clients as well as personal friends and family.

Absolutely beautiful flowers on website. Not one photo was bad and clearly they have great taste. Lady over the phone was professional and efficient. I had a $75 budget and sent photos from their IG for describing general scheme. I mentioned if possible would like roses and peonies, some white and will need some dusty rose and/or purples for colour. And trusted their expertise in making the modest budget work (since their orders of bouquets start at $30 I didn’t think I was asking for too much) They also don’t send you photos of what it looks like so you won’t know until the recipient sends you one but that’s pointless m. First 3 pictures are what I sent for inspo and last is the real thing. Edit: store called back to apologize for referencing the wrong style since there was a mixup in the names in 2 orders (one me, one namesake), and sent a replacement bouquet. While it didn’t make it to the original intended recipient, I appreciate their swift response to rectify the issue and willingness to fix it. The new one is exactly how I envisioned it to be and they have my trust back and I will reorder from them in the future.

Husband has been spoiling me with flowers from Flower Factory for years - I have vivid memories of the first (and by far the most beautiful) bouquet, which was the most enormous and gorgeous bunch of flowers I'd ever seen - no exaggeration! Staff are very helpful and no doubt you will find it hard to find more beautiful arrangements in this city. However, I have noticed a fairly significant decline in flower quality. The last two bouquets were less than a week old before most flowers were wilted or dead, and my birthday bouquet from last week featured peonies, one of which had lost most of its petals on day two. This bouquet didn't make it 6 days before I had to throw it out. Don't know where they are getting their flowers now, but they definitely used to last longer, and for the price we pay, they should look fresh for more than a couple days when cared for properly. Have advised husband to buy from elsewhere going forward!

I wanted to get a bouquet for my friend's graduation, and was set on something delicate, so I came here en route to UBC after seeing photos online. The customer service I received was good, helpful and she made a beautiful bouquet with the flowers I had approved and wanted - mainly pink peonies. Prices for individual stems were not listed, and they're given verbatim. I had no idea if I was getting a fair price as I don't frequent flower shops often. All was good until I arrived at UBC and realized that water had started to soak through the wrapping paper. After a few minutes, some stems were also limp. I was hoping the wrapping would at least be robust enough for 2 hours, and the flowers could last for a few days. Maybe I got the scrappier selection due to graduation season, but seeing the limp stems was disappointing.

Purchased a Valentine's Day bouquet and a bag of goodies for delivery. The bag contained scented candle+matches, artisanal chocolate, Sugarfina candy, bath salts, scented soap, and rose petals. Flower Factory was very responsive with any questions I had prior to delivery, and the bouquet was delivered without any hassle. I had some issues with the arrangement and quality of the bouquet, and Gloria immediately offered to send a replacement the moment she learned about the problem. She also took the time to explain the creation process behind the bouquet and some of the plants that were included in it. The two photos below are the listing of the bouquet on their website and the original bouquet I received along with some items from the goodie bag (champagne not included).

I don't even know where to begin in thanking Gloria for everything she's done for us! We were only 3 weeks away from our wedding day and she took on our event with such grace and calm. Not only did she reassure us that our floral ideas were doable, she elaborated on them and created the most beautiful arrangements which completely surpassed our expectations. All of our guests were completely in awe of our florals on our wedding day and my husband and I couldn't believe our eyes when we saw the flowers at the ceremony and reception. We are so grateful to have gotten to work with Gloria who was was able to make our floral dreams a reality. I've been going to The Flower Factory since the early 2000's, and Gloria and her staff have always been exceptional. They are a talented group of professionals who take great care with their craft. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that I have exactly the right bouquet for the occasion. Although the bouquets are always stunningly beautiful, it's the service and community that they've created that really make the experience. WOW - Thank you Crystal & the flower factory! So glad I found this business. Easy to order, great service, delivery & floral price is super reasonable & beautiful modernly-stylish floral arrangements. I simply described for the arrangement "I'd love some fall/earthy colours with some green floral and bit of purple for some vibrance. And something that is okay for the hospital" and this was the arrangement that Crystal came up with(attached photos)! Absolute perfection. You killed this. Everyone at the hospital was in awe of this arrangement. Thank you for cheering up my sister after a hard surgery - she loved it! & I love it! Prices on items not well marked. I saw some cute rosemary topiary wreaths outside the shop, which smelled amazing. Greeter at door didn't know pricing, I ended up picking it up to bring in store to get the pricing (wasn't a fan, of having to touch things I wasn't sure about purchasing due to the pandemic). I ended up purchasing the potted plant (it's beautiful and would make a nice gift), and the staff member kindly offered to wrap the pot bottom. I wish I had said no, as when I carried the pot to the car, the red ink of the wrapping paper rubbed off on my grey cashmere sweater! Overall happy with the quality of their product, but be careful with carrying wrapped items.

I've been a loyal customer, colleague and friend of Flower Factory for many years! Gloria and the team are some of the most respected wedding vendors in the city with a great reputation to match. I'm no flower expert, but I know their bouquets and flower displays are gorgeous... not to mention they last forever. The hundreds of times we've worked together over the years I've seen so many different and AMAZING styles! The shop also has lots of great knick-knacks if you are looking for (ahem) a last minute gift idea for your wife the day before her birthday... Beautiful award winning flowers made by people who know what they're doing. Highly recommended.

Came in to browse and buy dried pampas. Asked questions about different prices and the variation they had. The employee was super rude. I asked her if she could switch one of the 3 pampas that I purchased because it had some very dirty parts. She was giving my friend & I attitude from the start and told us to go home and cut it off but we asked for her to get a new stem... she then told me that she would give us a different one, but when we got home we noticed all she did was cut off a chunk. An obvious chunk. Would have been happy purchasing 2 pampas instead of 3, if she would have said that walking back to switch the stem was going to be difficult

Wow I can’t believe I never took the time to write a review for them. It’s been over a year since my first experience- it was an impromptu elopement and I ordered a boutonnière and a bridal bouquet. I wanted something small so they suggested bridesmaid bouquet. What came made me tear! I loved the arrangement and it was HUGE! It was everything I wanted and more. The boutonnière was so adorable to match my bouquet, and the boutonnière dried so nicely I kept it as a souvenir. I need a bouquet for a friends birthday and just remembered I didn’t review them from my first order in Jun 2021. Can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Popped in after seeing the beautiful display across the street at Trafiq. Was pleasantly welcomed by such a cute shop with a variety of flowers, plants and other home goods. It was hard to only narrow my purchase to one thing. My partner and I ended up both getting pots and plants. When we went to pay, they offered to have them potted for us which was such a thoughtful detail. I was then blown away by how beautiful they both looked and how the shop went above and beyond for us. It felt so special. I wish I lived in the area to make this my main plant store but sadly it will have to be a special treat. Thanks for everything!

Flower factory is my favorite flower shop in Vancouver. My wedding planner recommended Flower Factory to me as my weddings floral decor vendor and it was the best decisions ever ! Gloria and her teamed created my dream wedding and the flowers were unforgettable ! After that , Flower Factory becomes my go to flower shop for everything ! Their special occasion and everyday flower bouquets are so so so pretty and elegant ! I always just tell Gloria what I need the flowers for and she'll surprise me with something that's perfect ! I also need to mention that their flowers are always SO fresh and can last a long time in water !

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my husband's birthday. The bouquet that arrived was spectacular. Last month, I had ordered a bouquet for a friend struggling with cancer and her bouquet too was so beautiful. She wrote to let me know that the flowers were still fresh after so many days. This is an excellent flower service. A good eye for design, the utmost of quality (both flowers and vases) and the service is friendly and efficient. What the lucky recipients receive reflects well on your taste as the sender. I wouldn't dream of ordering flowers from anyone else.

I only discovered the Flower Factory yesterday, when I was looking to have an arrangement made for my mum. Based on the wonderful Google reviews and snapshots of the floral bouquets others posted, I decided to have one of their designers create something special and incorporating my mum's favourite colours. Wow, talk about pure artistry!! And my mother was so delighted with her gorgeous vase arrangement! A big thank you to Sarah (the designer) for cheering my mum up at a difficult time!! I have known Gloria for 10 years and her and her team are the most amazing and wonderful people! Countless times Gloria has helped me achieve the most incredible floral arrangements and decor. Her most recent magic was when my sister's wedding got canceled in Kelowna due to the fires, and moved to Vancouver. We had to make a full wedding happen in just four days and the Flower Factory came through yet again. I cannot say enough good things about Gloria and her team, and will be a loyal client indefinitely.

I’ve been a long time customer of the flower factory but I just bought my last bouquet from you. I was up sold to a $50 bouquet after purchasing $25 bouquets in the past. When I went to pick up the $50 bouquet it was tiny. Smaller then a $25 bouquet prior to COVID-19 and inflation!l. I get times are tough but this was a joke. I had switched to the Flower Market on Main Street just below Marine Drive and their bouquets are superior for far less. Sooooo sorry Flower Factory but you lost my business. Buh bye

The Flower Factory has been my go to for years, so it was only natural that they would do the florals for our wedding. Man did they ever blow our minds! Every detail was perfect. They worked with us to bring our dream to life. I had a vision of pocket flowers which they executed wonderfully, even having the insight to give me an extra one for later in the day. I couldn't recommend these guys more, whether for your wedding, anniversary flowers, or 'just because' flowers. Thank you!

We came around 3:15 pm today. This was our first time here in a long time. The young guy who helped us made amazing poesy bouquets based on the flowers desired. We also really appreciated the extra care he took when we mentioned that we were really short on time. Thank you for making a difficult time smoother. They will be enjoyed by a good friend whose home was just robbed and family members who have passed. The extra bonus was that things were affordable.

I used Flower Factory to provide bouquets and table centres for my wedding. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and the colours were perfect. They arrived at the venue on time, and were very fresh. The table arrangements were able to be lifted out of the containers provided as they had a plastic base, allowing guests to take the centrepieces home after the wedding. We love this shop. My wife will typically only accept flowers from this shop. The problem is; they know they are great! THEY ACT RIGHTEOUS. It’s a terrible trait. It takes a good to great business to stay in business. Build it one client at a time and maintains that client!!! Lose a client with bad attitudes and you lose eventually lose them all!!! Excellent service by helpful and knowledeable staff. Ordered a bouquet for pickup and was impressed by how tasteful the arrangement was and how well they wrapped it up. Very cool vibe to the store as well. Only downsize is it's not cheap; I could have paid the same amount for a premade bouquet almost twice the size elsewhere, but obviously would not be anywhere near the quality and taste as this place.

We had the flower factory as our florist for our wedding in September! I had sent pictures of bouquets I loved and they completely replicated the color and the style I was looking for! We've had beautiful bunches of flowers from Flower Factory over the years. Recently we ordered a bunch for someone and left it up to designers choice. The bouquet was sophisticated but not right for the intended recipient. Even though they were flat tack on two large events, they took the time to make up a different bouquet, and were totally lovely about it. Great customer service.

Staff/Owner was so kind and helpful. I was visiting my friend who recently lost her Mom. My friends are Hindu and I wasn't sure of an appropriate flower,colour ... Not only is their shop inspiring and beautiful, but I had the most wonderful experience with Kalen putting together a simple arrangement for a large mason jar. His insights, eye for detail, and connection to what I wanted blew me away. I left with an ornate, humble bouquet that literally moved me to tears! Friendly staff and fair prices for the flowers. While I feel I know a little more than the average "guy" when it comes to flowers, the staff here seem sincerely nice and are super helpful (great for anyone who isn't quite sure what they want). The flowers I've always left with always seem like money well spent to me, they'll always have me as a repeat customer.

I called from Salt Lake City, Utah to have flowers sent to my sister for her birthday. I am always skeptical about trying out a florist for the first time and they were very helpful on the phone and assured me the flower would be fresh and beautiful. I ordered a bouquet delivered to my daughter for her birthday this week. It was absolutely beautiful, delivered exactly when I requested and with the added Flower Bento Box was the perfect gift. Huh? A tip option? But you just sold me flowers. That's what your business sells: bouquets of flowers. Why would you ask for a tip? I don't get it. I probably wouldn't return because of this. Asking for a tip in a non service industry is insulting. On top of that, the flowers were not very fresh and consequently didn't last very long.

My husband and I worked with the Flower Factory for our succulent-themed wedding. We ordered a succulent bouquet, along with a corsage and boutonniere. The entire process went quickly and smoothly. Everything we got back was beautifully done, and the staff even lent us a vase to help us keep our bouquet fresh for our wedding day.

Really consistently beautiful, lush bouquets. I love that I can ask them for a general colour scheme or send them an inspiration photo and they will do their best to match it with blooms that are in season. The people I buy the bouquets for are always delighted with them. I will continue to come here for any flowers that I need.

Called to order a flower arrangement , paid 60 dollars over the phone and picked it up later , just to notice that they have used smallest, half-dead and their most unusable flowers. I was late for my valentine date, so took the flowers anyways. It was embarrassingly dull and unimpressive. If this is not cheating, what is it?!!

Flower Factory did our flowers for our wedding in August 2019. WOW. They went the extra mile and gave us extra flowers. The bouquets were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They also took the time to text me previews of the bouquets as they were making them. They were such a dream to work with. Really good people.

Called to order a bouquet for Valentine's. The lady I spoke to on the phone was just amazing! She really took the time to understand my needs and made excellent recommendations. Great place. The employees go above and beyond to help you. When we were loading our flowers into our car, the man helping us helped carry some to our car, and a piece broke off. He quickly went back inside and got a replacement for us. If you need some beautiful flowers I'd highly recommend coming here!

My favorite flower shop in Vancouver. Whether delivery or pick up we always use them for any special occasion. They also have some more unique varieties than other florists. There's really nice options for creative gift boxes in store as well as locally curated pots and gifts. Definitely worth a visit ☺

Bought a bouquet here that died in just two days, so called them up and they replaced the original bouquet with a MASSIVE gorgeous arrangement (much larger than my original purchase) free of charge. Amazing customer service, and generally quality of flowers is excellent

Ordered a custom bouquet in a vase. I was blown away with the product that Flower Factory created. They accommodated my short on short notice and the entire team was super friendly! I have ordered from here multiple times and have never been disappointed!

My family orders from Flower Factory on a monthly basis, and every month they deliver nicely arranged fresh flowers to our home. On rare cases when we aren't satisfied, they will redo it and send a new one right over. Good service and beautiful flowers!

I think I have bought half a dozen bouquets from Flower Factory. They had great stock to work with - some unusual quirky stuff that really spiced up the arrangements - and staff who took the time to make it work. They are very reasonably priced as well.

Everyone at the Flower Factory is wonderful. They always greet me when I enter the shop, and always ask if there's anything in particular that I'm looking for. Their arrangements are beautiful and they do such a great job.

We ordered a beautiful bouquet for my daughter. It was delivered in a timely matter. The flowers were fresh, and beautifully arranged. The bouquet lasted nearly 2 weeks. I will definitely support them again.

They will do custom bouquets if you give them a price range and point out some colors or flowers you like. They made a beautiful bouquet for me within 10 minutes for 30 dollars! Friendly staff.
