If you are reading this review, just go and buy the thing you’re after here. How annoyed are you going to be when one day you need something from here urgently and they’re gone because Amazon. Every neighborhood needs a hardware store and these guys have never let me down.

Whenever I visitor Barkers, I think to myself as I'm leaving that I should write a review. So, finally ..... I can only echo what almost every other contributor has said. The shop is fantastic. You just don't get shops like this anymore.

So it states on the door and online it Opens at 9am. I have been here since 8:50 and it’s now 9:05 and still no sign of anyone. Perhaps new staff required for your store? 9am is a very easy start

This shop has been here since I was a kid, same owners, Very helpful and knowledgeable, an old school traditional shop with everything you could possibly need for diy.
