My name is Tykie and I’m writing this review on behalf of my humans. I’m an Abyssinian cross cat. I’m almost 16 years old so my health needs more attention. Even though I don’t like going to the vet, I am giving Bayswater Referral Clinic a great review. They have looked after me and my other cat companion since 2019 when we moved to London. They have given us all the care we need. My companion is gone now but he told me he was happy with the vets and nurses there because they were patient with him even though he was “bitey”. More recently, I have been going to the clinic a lot and I met Hannah the nurse. She’s been really, really nice to me: I love her so much that when I see her, I latch on to her and don’t want to let go. The vets, other nurses and the reception team are also great. Grant the vet has been talking to my humans a lot, explaining my complex health situation. But Hannah is special. So to my fellow cats and other animals, I highly recommend Bayswater Referral Clinic.
My girls have been patients of this clinic since nearly two years ago. I have two and a half years old frenchie, which lately has developed some allergies, and two tortoiseshell cats, one four years old and the other reaching soon 15th, whom also has a serious heart condition. They found out that problem in the clinic and she has been treated by them since. I have no words to explain my gratitude. Vet and surgeon Victoria has been mainly taking care of her, and they also have a specialist coming once a week for specific cases. Vet and surgeon Michael has been looking after the other two girls. I am absolutely delighted with their attention, their dedication and their kindness. In this clinic all the staff is amazing and involved hundred percent to assure the pets wellbeing. Bev, in reception, always helpful and kind, you can feel the harmony and good vibe since you step in. Mi girls love the place! Thanks to all to give your best to take care of them.
We cannot say enough good things about our experience with the team at Bayswater Veterinary Clinic. Our puppy had ongoing digestive issues that left us worried and stressed. From the moment we walked through their doors, we knew we were in caring hands. The staff were compassionate, understanding, and took the time to listen to our concerns. The vets were incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through a comprehensive process to diagnose the root cause of our dog's issues. Their expertise and gentle approach made a world of difference, not just to our puppy, but to us as anxious pet parents. We searched high and low for the right vet, and are so grateful to have been pointed in the direction of Bayswater by friends who knew we'd find the quality care we were seeking. Our puppy is now much healthier and happier, thanks to the Bayswater team. If you're in need of exceptional veterinary care, look no further. Highly recommended!
i was referred here by friends and it really is a lovely practice...all the staff are polite, interested, knowledgable, caring...the premises has a relaxed atmosphere and my dog, who hates vets was reasonably well behaved for a change..even the pictures on the wall are cute...the vet i saw was reassuring and had read my dogs records and gave me good advice...great first visit....update...the vet also charged me less for a fleeting visit which most vets would not do, and helped me to fill in the insurance claim form. Update...my dog had to go in for a post op checkup and she sauntered in like it was the nicest place in the world! All in all i'm delighted i found this gem of a vet and long may it continue to be independent and not taken over by a larger corporation
I am so delighted to have found this veterinary practice! The staff on the telephone and at the desk were efficient, knowledgable and kind. Moreover, the vet we saw, Michael, was the perfect balance of expert and human being, giving me detailed information on what was best for our dog and also reassuring me on aspects of his health that I did not need to worry about. Our dog has been through the wars in recent years and has seen a real range of vets, so it takes a lot for us to be confident and calm about his health. We left our appointment at the Bayswater Referral Clinic knowing his health is in superb hands. Based on our experience so far, I couldn't recommend this practice more highly.
Boo always sees his Auntie Victoria at the clinic….. Some dogs hesitate at a vet practice door, but Boo is always happy to walk straight in….. The reception staff are always lovely & helpful as are the vet nurses….. We’ve been coming a bit more frequently than I’d like, recently, but Victoria is always kind & loving to Boo….. He’s ‘happy’ (possibly not quite accurate wording), to have needles poked in him him & other slightly unpleasant things, but Boo accepts that it needs to be done…. Boo is a very intelligent therapy dog & understands that things are done for a reason….. We both highly recommend Bayswater Referral Clinic…. Kerrie & Boo x
An absolutely remarkable vet - and perhaps the greatest veterinary clinic I’ll ever visit! Having taken care of several pets throughout the years I’m familiar with a few different clinics and I must say that this is the best one! The vet was patient, kind, very attentive and very well-read. Happily answered all my questions and made me feel like a valued customer! And the receptionists were absolutely remarkable - with a special thanks to the charming woman with the tattoos who is without a doubt a model receptionist (and she also appreciated my National Pet Service joke, which was a bonus). Highly recommend! Best vets in West London.
Bayswater referral is truly the best vet in the world. They are so sweet, exceptionally helpful, and very detail oriented. I find it so funny my dog actually loves coming here, even when it's a surgery! Very rare does a dog enjoy coming to the vet, but it's no surprise why. Bill, Adam, Ana, Dr. Petrie, and all the ladies who work here have gone above and beyond for my dog - from routine consistent checkups, multiple surgeries and procedures, ordering specific diet food, or just giving her a little extra attention. Very grateful to have found them and could not recommend them enough!
I have just attended for an animal health certificate for a trip to France with my young Labrador. I had one issued 8 months ago at a cost of £120. This time, after making me wait 30 minutes, they charged £240 having given no advance notice that the cost would increase, so that I could investigate other cheaper options. They refused to make any concession when I protested and said they “had to increase their costs”. My google searches suggest £120 is reasonable but £240 is excessive, especially when it represents 100% increase in 8 months. Suggest obtaining any pricing up front
I highly recommend Bayswater Referral Clinic. The staff are very welcoming and kind, vets trustworthy and knowledgeable. Everything works smoothly, from booking an appointment to actual help given. My cat has had various things wrong with him in the past month, from his heart to a blocked bladder. BRC figured everything out and treated him immediately. Constantly kept me up to date with all procedures and tests. I got my questions answered very clearly and understood the why in his treatment plan, which I also appreciate.
A great private practice that puts my dog's health above their need for profit. Friendly, knowledgable and genuinely care for their patients is proven every visit. I transferred to Bayswater Referral's after Village Vet took over my last veterinarian (on Harrow Road, London) and I started being fleeced for every last penny as they tried to perform every possible test imaginable for symptoms that didn't exist. Bayswater Referral have looked after me and my dog really well and I just hope they don't sell to Village Vets.
Look no further, this clinic is truly outstanding. I have owned pets for all my life and this was my very first time completely at ease and 100% trusting a clinic/vet like this. The entire experience is superb, starting with the lovely nurses and receptionists Hanna and Anna. Every single member of their staff is extremely friendly and kind! My dog was happy the entire time and the consultation ran smoothly (she was thrilled to be back yesterday in order to schedule a new appointment).
Unfortunatley i had to bring my 18 year old staffy here to have her put to sleep. The staff and vet were extreemley friendley and very professional. this really helped me to get through the sadest moment of my life. I had constant reassurance that i was doing the best thing for my best friend and the support i recieved from the very friendley staff made the experience a whole lot more bareable then i was expecting. I would recommend this place over any vet i have visited in the past
Amazing vet. I went there for a second opinion as I felt Pets Naturally had misdiagnosed my dog with her vomiting issues, easily done as they didn’t even bother to give her a stomach examination. Jo at Bayswater Referral Clinic was excellent she gave my dog a full thorough examination and found the real issue very quickly. My dog required hospital stay of which was organised for me. The staff are animal lovers and shower your pets with affection. I now wouldn’t use anyone else.
This was my first visit to the clinic, everything went smoothly and my cat was relaxed and well looked after. The examination time was ample and the examination detailed. I received a thorough explanation about my cat's condition and the proposed course of action and Victoria very patiently answered all my questions and queries. The clinic's environment (reception, examination room I saw) is reassuringly pleasant and the staff professional and helpful. I highly recommend it!
The team at Bayswater were brilliant at looking after my puppy who sustained a nasty injury to her eye with a ball. Michael took such thorough care of her and charged just a nominal amount for her check ups (actually they didn't charge for her final check up at all!) They are far less pushy than the big chains, who just seem to want to push expensive and traumatic treatments, they will allow a monitor and see approach whilst keeping the dog's heath and well-being paramount.
Years ago, when Michael Gordon was at the helm, I used to take my cats here. Michael was fantastic. 20 years later I had my arm twisted until we got a puppy. I took him to the local (franchise) vet until I really fell in love with him and realised he (and we) deserved way better, so we're back. They still feel like a neighbourhood independent, critically never over medicate and our chihuahua is fine being handled by Victoria - a genuine accolade - trust me.
Excellent care and consideration taken for my dog with rather complicated needs for his dental and surgical procedure. My dog's previous experience of sedation at a different vets resulted in a bad reaction lasting for several weeks. However at Bayswater Wilf was back to his normal happy self the same day with no adverse reactions. Excellent follow up care - a great experience all round. Thank you Michael and the lovely Bayswater team.
Fantastic vets :) We took our dog there at short notice with a stomach upset. The vet we saw was very kind and got on with our dog really well. At first we tried a conservative approach: an injection to stop her being sick and a change to her diet. She improved but was not 100% better. On the second visit, the vet prescribed medication for a protozoal infection, and this was completely effective. We strongly recommend this practice.
We took our kitten here after having a bad experience at a different vet and from the first phone call found all the staff at Bayswater to be friendly and professional. Unfortunately our kitten had serious heart problems so she needed regular care which was never a problem as she seemed to love her visits! Sadly she passed away but the clinic helped us deal with it very compassionately. I would recommend them to anyone
After experiencing constant issues with Village Vet, we’ve decided to move our senior boy, Gilbert, to Bayswater Referral Clinic. We couldn’t be more happy with their service, and how professionally this place operates. Reception team is always very friendly, and both vets, Victoria and Michael are superb. One of Gilbert’s favourite places. (Not sure if it has anything to do with the treat jar at the reception )
This is the BEST vet practice in London. Caring, loving and utterly competent. They provided gentle, sensitive and loving care to our aging labradoodle before he died. They now care for our three-year old puppy who has hip dyspexia. Best, of all they don't recommend unnecessary treatments that gouge you. Cannot recommend more highly. After having trying many practices we travel 45 minutes to come to this clinic.
I always have the best and most comforting experience when I bring my dog here. Moving from another country and changing a vet is a stressful process especially to find one you can trust and I can definitely say they are not only so trustworthy but also very friendly and informative. I always leave with peace and ease of mind. You can tell they care. Thank you to the entire team at Bayswater Referral Clinic.
Really friendly team and with a welcoming atmosphere at the reception. I took my kitten Sacha to be spayed, it was organised quite well, they knew when to expect me. Overall, the surgery was done quickly and Sacha was looked after. As a first time pet owner, I was nervous about the procedure and aftercare. However, the staff gave me all the relevant information and checked on her a few days after.
This is such a wonderful clinic for cats and dogs located in Notting hill/bayswater area. Dr. Michael was really kind and patient with my kitten, I had about a million questions and he answered them all. The staff at the reception are really professional and helpful. Such a pleasant place to Bring your pet and be at ease, this will be my go to spot. Highly recommend!
Great practice!. Friendly and welcoming staff and they have always been able to accommodate seeing my cat as quickly as I need. Michael Punch’s professionalism and calming demeanour during consultations I always appreciate (especially as I suffer anxiety and normally there for non-regular appointments). Highly recommend if youre looking for a practice for your pet!
Friendly staff, knowledgeable vets, availability of appointments. Often visiting the vet can be a stressful event for owner and pet but at Bayswater one senses a true caring environment and a wish to do all possible for the animal. With London vets increasingly becoming mega chains and money making machines it is a relief to be part of the Bayswater vets community.
My dog was very sick and previous vet at Medivet didn’t help his condition at all. I called Bayswater vet and asked for an emergency appointment. The staff were so friendly and gave me an appointment right away. The vet was great. Very knowledgeable. They kept my dog for a day and thanks to them, he is feeling so much better today. I highly recommend this practice.
We just relocated from the US and needed help with continuing our dog’s meds and understanding how to travel to/from the EU. The staff was super responsive and we were able to be seen same day. We were given a thorough understanding of how to travel with our furry friend and I can’t thank the staff enough! I highly recommend Bayswater Referral Clinic!
My puppy Ziggy seems to love the Vets so much he gets into all sorts of trouble to come back almost weekly! They’ve been fantastic with him from UTis, Vaccinations and getting half eaten underwear out from him. He still comes in every time with his tail wagging. Lovely team, easy to get an appointment if needed and reasonable prices too.
They were really excellent when it came to the service of our cat they made sure we were well informed and we were able to get in and out very smoothly and efficiently. Even after they made sure our cat was doing well with a checkup and our cat is now happy and thriving, they are very concerned about the well-being of animals.
A wonderful vet surgery. Michael is so warm and kind to my dog. Unlike other vets I’ve experienced his focus is on the best care for the animal and not just on making money. Despite my dog being very nervous at the vets he couldn’t be in better hands. And I feel confident that I won’t be charged for unnecessary treatment..
Bayswater Referral, came highly recommended and I can see why! Lovely staff at the front desk and very calm quiet waiting area. The vet was amazing with our 10 week old pup and gave us so much valuable information. Nothing felt rushed and pup was throughly spoilt with yummy treats. I will recommend this to all my friends.
Great veterinary practise. Have been taking my pet here for over 5 years. They take great care and attention to my pet's health needs. It's usually easy to get same or next day day appointments, although sometimes it can be a bit busy. Wish they had an out-of-hours and emergency service, which the area desperately needs.
These guys looked after my pet/son Haku for the last four years of his life and I can't thank them enough for everything they did for him, right up to the end. We've had several different Vets looking after him through the years and they were all great. A great place to take your pets, highly recommended.
The team at Bayswater Referral Clinic has been great looking after our cats, including helping us through the sad moment when we had to put our older cat down. They have been very accommodating and sensitive to our needs, including our cat's needs and making sure he was comfortable until his last breath.
A wonderful practice that has offered great help with my cat's ongoing health problems. Michael Punch there is a very kind and caring vet, and among other things dealt skilfully with a very nasty head wound my cat suffered. Reception staff are super helpful too. I totally recommend this clinic.
We have been using this veterinary practice since we first got a dog some 30 years ago. They provide first class service in a professional and very friendly environment. They are sensitive to the distress of animals and their owners. My dog loves going there! I strongly recommend them. Camerons
The have c4 scheme, I try to make appointments 3 times, first time the let me registered and waiting for 1 month, after that, I didn’t receive any updates, after 1 month I called the receptionist, they tell me I didn’t on the waiting list, I need waiting 1 month. This seems to be an excuse
My dog has been sick all summer from various non related issues - the team both medical and staff has been kind, understanding and super accommodating including calling me after hours to give me exam results. I'very grateful to everybody at BRC for always going that extra mile =).
A friend recommended Bayswater Referral Clinic and i can see why. The staff were attentive and friendly & the clinic was clean and bright. Our dog Caspar was nervous on his first visit, but Victoria made him feel at home with a few treats, so I'm sure he will be happy to return!
We are very happy with our clinic. They always fit us in as quick as possible and Dante, our dog, is very comfortable there. We visit regularly, for Librela injections for his arthritis and any other issue that might arise, and love going there. The staff is also very friendly.
I recently took my dog to the Bayswater Referral Clinic for his first check-up, and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making my nervous boy feel comfortable. They provided expert care and showed genuine compassion towards my dog. Highly recommend!
I have been bringing my pets (7 so far) to Bayswater Referral for 30 years and they have always, without exception, been kind, supportive and welcoming, but more importantly (maybe) they have had answers and options. they have researched issues and come to me with choices.
EXCELLENT INDEPENDENT VETERINARY CLINIC. Victoria Seale is a wonderful, personable vet. She helped me through the impossible time of dealing with my most beloved extremely sick dog. Thank you Victoria. I would highly recommend Bayswater Refferals Veterinary Clinic to all
Wonderful clinic. Independent with various vets, all of whom are kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They don’t try to sell you anything for your pet that is unnecessary. I’m completely satisfied with their excellent service.
I had a great experience with this vet. I could always get an appointment when I needed one and they were always very friendly and efficient. They helped me to get my dog all the required blood tests and vaccinations to ultimately transport our dog to New Zealand.
We have two of our cats registered with the Bayswater Referral Clinic and regularly use their services. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. When our cats have been ill or required urgent care, the staff have been immediately on hand and proactive.
Highly Recommanded. Kaysar had a great experience with this vet practice! Prices are fair and staff are super friendly. Kaysar went in for his vaccine and they were fantastic, The vet worked his magic on him and he didnt feel ajetated during the visit.
I have been to several vets in London and Bayswater is the best. In other clinics, there are usually many different vets and almost each time, I would have to see a new one. But in Bayswater, I can have a regular vet who knows my dogs all along.
The whole team were fantastic and helped us with everything. Especially Bev was great in helping us even through telephone helping another issue with another friend. They are kind, calm, helpful and knowledgeable people who love pets.
Victoria at The Bayswater Refferal Clinic is a wonderful vet. Extremely caring, most friendly & v helpful. Highly recommended. Imagine that going to the vet, must be v daunting for my 3 month old puppy, but Victoria makes her relaxed.
We take our kitten to this practice and we are very happy. They are super nice to the pets as well as providing good advice, good service and not turning the experience into a selling point encounter. They clearly love animals there.
This is a great vets office. My dog was feeling unwell and they were able to fit him in within an hour. Always clean, efficient, and they obviously care very much for your pets health! Doctor had no problem with my very squirmy dog.
Amazing caring staff, fair prices too - like we had to swap from a hugely well known vets in the area - as we couldn't afford them. This one has been more caring for our doggies and kinder - that's our opinion anyway, very pleased
One of the only independent practices left in the area and you can tell. From the receptionists, nursing staff and vets, they are caring, considerate and knowledgeable. Very happy to have moved here after my previous vet retired.
Absolutely amazing service, both the vets and the reception staff, who were approachable, caring and made sure that my dog received the best possible care, even when she had to be referred to a specialist vet. Highly recommended!
This is a really great practice; friendly people who combine expertise with a personal touch. When we have an appointment, my dog thinks he's paying a social call on friends. And I know he's receiving the best possible care.
If it hadn't been for Victoria's speedy diagnosis of grass seed causing a collapsed lung and the the excellent care of the whole team I do not think our gorgeous spaniel would still be with us. Many, many thank yous!
I highly recommend the Bayswater Vet Clinic. They are very professional friendly and offer constructive advice. They don’t keep you waiting too long and the clinic have a selection of toys and treats you can buy.
Everyone at the clinic is so competent and friendly, I always feel my dog is in good hands. The vets do thorough examinations and they do really care about the animals they see. I can only recommend the practice.
Absolutely wonderful practice with amazing staff. Patience and kindness are in abundance from a team who will go out of their way to ensure your fury friend is happy and well. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
Always have had a great experience with this vet practice! Prices are fair and staff are super friendly and kind. Peach went in for surgery and they were fantastic- even cut his nails for him when he was asleep!
Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Was seen very quickly despite never having been there before. The vet did a thorough job and my cat is already much perkier after his treatment! Thank you …
They take very nice care of our cats. The vets are experienced and offer good advice, but above all they genuinely care for the creatures they treat. Scheduling is easy and they send reminders for check ups.
Our first experience at a vets and really impressed at how smooth the experience went. Our pup was so calm and content in their care. All staff really welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t recommend enough.
Helped my senior cat many times with various conditions (the old boy is a rescue and is troubled), the best doctors in town - special thanks to doctor Victoria for her kindness and professionalism!
Always a very warm and kind welcome from the Bayswater Referrals team. Completely professional , with the perfect amount of care and kindness for both the pet and the pet owner. Many thanks.
Love love love the fact that we have this local vet centre with kind staff and welcoming vibes just around the corner and that our puppy Rita will be seen with personal care and attention x
Always a good personal service. As one would hope for, the welfare of the patients is paramount, but owners are treated really well too! I would highly recomment this veterinary practice.
Can highly recommend the Bayswater Vet Clinic. Reception staff are so lovely and extremely helpful. Very experienced vet. I am reassured my cocker spaniel is now in good hands!
I find the team to be caring and considerate, our dog is always happy to visit and she likes and trusts the vets. Its great to have a local vet so close , that is so helpful
Love these guys. They’re so friendly and warm to my little cavapoo, Hemingway! And they know their stuff. Very well informed and all around a great place to bring your pet!
Best Vet in London from my experience. Take care of our dogs and puppies so well! All the staff are very friendly and nice. Would highly recommend to take care of your pet!
The service level from front of house is outstanding friendly and flexible. Clinic staff were so amazing when our puppy needed emergency care. Couldn't recommend enough
Great care and attention to both of our aging dogs. Always appointments for urgent problems and the feeling that they genuinely care about both pets and their people.
We’ve been with the practice for 3 years. There’s been some turnover in the veterinary staff, but the standard of care remains super high! Definitely recommend.
Great and attentive team! My dog is scared of the vet and they always take extra care and time to make her feel at ease as much as possible. Would recommend.
I take my two kittens there and the whole team is adorable. Very efficient, polite and friendly. I strongly recommend them! Prices are reasonable too!
Fantastic vet surgery! Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. In urgent situations they always found time to see my mini schnauzer. Highly recommend!!
A wonderful veterinary clinic! We're very lucky to have this clinic nearby. An insightful and caring team who gives our senior cats the best care.
Practitioners were very helpful and supportive. And explained step by step the procedure and treatment for my cat. Would definitely recommend.
We recently switched to Bayswater Referrals with our four pets and we couldn't be happier. A truly local small business who very much care.
We had a very good experience with the clinic to do pet travel health certificate for my dog flying back to my hometown:) thank you so much
Very happy with the service. Happy to have found Dr Victoria Seale who is very knowledgeable, responsive, calm and gentle with the pets.
