At first glance, it seems unlikely given its size that Beaumont Hardware could have everything you need for a project. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised every time I’ve visited as they always seem to have all the items I need (plus odds and ends I didn’t even know you could buy in person)! What they don’t have is a ton of brand variety and honestly I think that is for the best- how many brands of copper pipe fittings does one really need to choose among, honestly? I love that it’s so compact, their staff is super friendly but will also just let you browse around, and they seem to have narrowed down their inventory to the best brands with all the necessary variety to complete just about any project you have in mind! The only thing missing currently is lumber and when I mentioned this they musingly said “well, maybe on the roof…” so stay tuned for that! Haha
I recently moved into a condo nearby and I've been in and out of this shop a half dozen times picking up various parts and pieces for home repairs. The staff has been both polite and extensively knowledgeable, making sure that I get what I need and I'm not overbuying for the repair projects I've undertaken. At one point I was even directed towards a more affordable option for tools compared to what I had selected myself, it shows a level of care and concern for the community that you just don't see at bigger stores. Extensively well stocked as well, I've been able to find everything I've needed on each occasion, very glad a hardware store like this is so close by. Thanks for all the help!
I have been here for many projects. Today I went in to purchase something for a plumbing project. The gentleman by the name of Lee helped instruct me through my project. I had been to 3 other hardware stores trying to find the right gasket. Turns out I didn’t need the gasket at all. He walked me though step by step to keep it from leaking. After much frustration with the project, I finally got it fixed. All thanks to Lee. Great professional help. If you actually want help with hardware supplies and projects, this is where to go. Better than any big box hardware stores.
An old fashioned hardware store where the employee Zack spent 30 minutes helping me find a part to fix my cheap broken bird feeder, trying a myriad of assorted screws to mcgyver a solution. This was the place during the pandemic that I could order a wheelbarrow to be picked up curbside, find sandpaper and paintbrushes for small projects, and always to be treated with kindness. I cant say enough how rare it is to find a community store like this these days where the entire store is proud that they are taking care of everyone .
Best service you may get anywhere! I was trying to fix my kitchen faucet, but had no idea what I was doing. I showed Lee the part and he was honestly excited to help. He had never seen whatever random part I brought him. Unsure of how to best proceed I ended up going back to the store two more times that day and Lee worked with me all the way through. He helped me disassemble, replace, reassemble, and maintain my tricky faucet. You don't find hands-on help with this anywhere - certainly not Home Depot. Thank you, Lee!
My first stop for any hardware store needs - for such a tiny place they have pretty much all the basics I have needed. Latest example - door latch is broken - I call, confirm they have my brand, they encourage me to bring in the piece I'm replacing (always a good idea). 5 minutes in the store (they were all masked) and I'm on my way again with part in hand. In the Big Box Stores it's 10 min just from my car to finding an aisle where the part *might* be. If your time is worth something to you, go here first.
I had called in inquiring about an item that was on their website. The associate I spoke with was not very knowledgeable with products carried at location. Conversation turned to him being rude and telling me he didn’t have the time to answer my questions. It was my first time calling the store for anything ever, I would not recommend this to a friend or anybody for that matter. My recommendation would be for management to coach their staff. If I could’ve given anything lower than one star I would have.
This review is for the owners, not the employees or the store itself. In the midst of a pandemic, one of the owners of this store does not wear a mask and when I asked him to he said, "I'm social distancing" - he wasn't, and he was inside where masks should ALWAYS be worn regardless of distancing. Unfortunately, I have also heard from employees that the owners are poor employers in other ways as well. I will be going elsewhere in the future, and I would encourage others to as well.
Surprisingly broad range of items considering the small footprint. The staff is unfailingly polite and is extremely knowledgeable regarding small do-it-yourself projects. I used to think "Oh, they're too small to have an X" as I drove past to go to hardware stores 5 times bigger. Now, other than lumber, I always go to Beaumont Hardware first, and I save myself 20 minutes of driving and 20 more minutes of looking around for a given item.
From the outside, Beaumont Hardware is pretty nondescript but it's understaded exterior hides a surprisingly large selection of hardware. I routinely shop here (maybe 4 to 6 visits per year) and on only one ocassion did they not have what I needed (a locking mechanism from an old door). Even then the staff worked very hard to examine and resolve the problem part, who I would add are very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful.
This is my neighborhood awesome hardware store. I'm so glad they exist and I don't have to go to a big box store for a hanging hook or plug or anything really. they have an amazing selection for such a tiny store and don't be fooled, explore! The space wraps all around that little building! Fast easy key cutting too! They do not carry wood or construction materials. Thanks for being in my neighborhood Beaumont do it best!
Beaumont Hardware has a great selection considering the shop is on the small size. Their service is impressive- employees are friendly and informed. If they don't know the answer, they want to find out for you. I feel confident that I will be helped quickly if I'm roaming the isles there. A small-town experience that is harder and harder to come by. Thanks Beaumont Hardware!
Needed a bit of glass trimmed off of a piece of window glass I had in my garage. They refused to help me unless I could prove I bought the glass there. I was more than willing to pay. And people wonder why small time shops suffer at the expense of the big box stores. Just took it to Lowes and they did it for free. Never going to bother frequenting this store again.
I went in with some stripped screws on a $500 TV mount. I was going to throw it away. Three guys got right on it and started working. The good guy literally sawed them down, then used a flat head and a hammer to get them off! They were happy to help and charged me $5! They even tossed an eyes screw in that got ruined. Amazing place and amazing service.
I opt to come here over other hardware stores because the people who work here are friendly and helpful. Sometimes I only have half an idea what I’m looking for, but they always help point me in the right direction without judgement. At Home Depot it’s impossible to find someone for help half the time and half those times the person is rude.
This is a wonderful store. The staff is incredibly helpful. It always amazes me how what looks like a small building has so much in stock. They always seem to have what I need. I've often been able to skip going to other stores because they carry what I need. I highly recommend this store and it's staff.
Terrible place to try to shop. They have long lines just to get in the store. Employee doing nothing but standing around inside taking up space customers could use. I will definitely think twice coming here again next time i need something from the hardware store. I do not recommend this hardware store
Amazing customer service! I went in looking for a few screws that fell out of my rear license plate. The gentleman on the floor grabbed two boxes of screws, a screwdriver and walked with me to my car to find the correct size. I needed the extra TLC today and he saved me valuable time!! Thank you!
Great local hardware store with friendly staff and almost everything you need for home maintenance. When our movers lost a couple bolts to our bed one of the guys there helped us find the right bolt size and then ground off the heads for us when we couldn't find the right length of stud.
This is a great hardware store. There stock most anything you need to keep up the 100 year old houses in the surrounding neighborhood in good working. They are also extremely helpful with the connector game where you bring them two dissimilar fittings and say you need to replace them.
Everything you'd want from a neighborhood hardware store: extremely knowledgeable staff, right there to answer your questions or point you to what you need. I get what I'm and I'm back on the job in a few minutes, instead of languishing in Big Box Hell for an hour or more.
It doesn’t get any better. I’m super impressed by their selection for their size. The store always has tons of helpful and knowledgeable folks that genuinely engage. Super dog friendly. And they do wonderful things for the community. Thank you Beaumont Hardware!
Beaumont Hardware, I may love you. I suffered with a barely attached bathroom faucet handle for three years. Multiple visits to YouTube videos & Home Depot failed to solve the problem. After fifteen minutes in Beaumont Hardware, I'm once again living the dream!
Stopped in yesterday as I was having one of those projects(new washer dryer installation) that end up having multiple trips. Thankful to have gotten some help from Lee(I think that was his name). His tips were spot on and saved me hours of
Sweet little hardware store with incredibly knowledgable staff. Small store with a surprising variety of items. Dogs are welcome. Nice supply of gardening items and just about anything you need to make a simple fix or upgrade to your home.
Small place that's great for small tasks but limited on selection. Overpriced but better service than big box stores. The young gal behind the counter wasn't much help in the way of answering questions but she was nice and honest.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Never have a problem finding assistance, and they'll go out of their way to understand and help you solve your problem. They've saved me from many mistakes in the 20 years I've been going here!
This is the best staffed and most helpful hardware store anywhere. I've been going to this store for years for anything from 10 cent washers to paint to saw blades. The staff is abundant and amazingly knowledgeable.
Ok, I love this place. The service is exceptional. If you need anything, they'll find it, order it or build it. :) Ok, maybe not build it...but I mean, who writes a review for a hardware store? This place is super!!
My favorite hardware store because they are always friendly and someone knowledgeable can always help you with your quest. They just provide a superior experience to any big box store. Makes it easy to Buy local!
I've been to this place many times and it's always the same. The folks that work there are friendly and helpful to a fault. So good that I spent more than I probably should have. They will always get my business.
Very helpful people. Almost every time I walk in sometime asks me right away how they can help me. Invariably I've got a question that I probably wouldn't have been able to figure out on my own. Great place.
Able to get some extra keys cut! (They work, by the way!) Got some epoxy and I see they have a nice array of fittings and tools. I'll be sure to be visiting more for home projects as the pandemic subsides :]
I’ve shopped here in the past and liked the shop. I recently called to look into some supplies and found the person on the phone to be quite unhelpful and I got hung up on! Won’t be shopping there again.
They have always had that little thing I need for the small house repairs. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They are always my first stop and usually my only stop for my home up keep and repair.
This is a great little neighborhood hardware store. They have a great selection and good prices. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Today I was just looking for some lock lubricant. I spent $2.
I use this place about 15 times a year. They have a great selection for such a small place. They have just about everything you would want, but no lumber. I love it a lot and they offer good advice.
This place makes home improvement downright pleasant: superfriendly staff, solid selection, and wide range of services. The management and employees also support neighborhood activities and efforts.
Great local store, they always give me good advice, including letting me know when something I'm trying to do is ill-advised or unnecessary. As a new homeowner I need all the guidance I can get!
What a neighborhood gem. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Excellent selection of products considering its size. Perfect for any DIY-er. Don't know what I would do without this place.
Sid, I hope I got your name right was awesome! She has helped me on many occasions specifically on getting just what I needed to finish installing a water filter. Thanks Sid!!
One of the last excellent neighborhood hardware stores. Prices are a little higher but considering the service, ease of access, supporting small businesses, totally worth it.
“Beaumont doesn’t suck”. Best hardware store I’ve ever been to. Since the first time I walked in 10 years ago It’s been an irreplaceable gem with service that has no peer.
Always friendly and helpful service, with a reasonable selection of stock and fair prices. I try to shop here as much as I can before going to the big box store or online.
These folks are the best. Always so helpful and knowledgeable. Shocking how much they have for such a seemingly small place. We love our neighborhood hardware store. :)
Super knowledgeable and helpful, this store has the best staff and best stuff! I guess that's why they're the Best local neighborhood hardware store!
Went looking for the wrong thing and the great staff redirected me and saved the day! Polite and good natured bunch. Best Hardware store by far!

Customer service is unsurpassed! They always have what I need. The environment is safe and friendly. Keep up the good work Beaumont!
This is a wonderful hardware store! Super well stocked, great selection and also very friendly staff. Love this place!
The staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was able to get the item, I was looking for, really fast.
They always have a few nice yard plants if you are in the neighborhood for that type of thing …
I always get the help I need. They are surprisingly well stocked for bring a "small box" store.
This store has fans, and for a reasonable price. Very helpful and local store for some fuses.
It's my go to hardware store. Kind friendly very nice people. Knowledgable and well stocked.
