Today I went in to the Ace hardware off division to get a few things that I needed I noticed story employees following me around trying to be discreet and I can't stand when that happens because I would never steal and never has it came to mind I work hard for my money and as I was walking out after paying the alarm beeped so I went back it went off and I was taught to always do that and there was a store employer standing right by the door and he had me walk through it without my stuff that I bought and it didn't beep again and as I was walking out he said sorry for falling you like a hawk we just had to do it so they obviously had to made that alarm go off on purpose so they can see if I had any thing on me or something cuz it didn't go off when I went back through again with the stuff I had BOUGHT they need to stop judging how somebody looks because I'm a vice president of a construction company and would never steal never thought about it I was raised better and also work for my money so I can BUY things plus also I had a $2,000 electric skateboard that I was carrying so why would I steal I'm pretty sure they couldn't even afford to spend that much on a skateboard alone LOL sucks for them though cuz they lost a customer and honestly I'd like that store but they ruined my experience there so now I will not give my hard earning money to them including all Ace hardware stores now #STOPJUDGING so I tried to give them another chance but once again I was harassed by employee named Jamie that's what he said his name was he would not stay 6 ft after I asked him to please stay back because covid-19 he would not listen and proceed to keep trying push me out the store even though I have done nothing wrong besides asked him to please stop harassing me and he didn't like that so then he became super rude first you don't ask someone that is shopping at your store umm didn't you have some bolts in your hand? which I still did have them in my hand were else would they be them I don't know why he need to ask me that question unless he's thinking I'm stealing and makes since why they were watching me I can't even shop there peace fully which is really ridiculous they love to judge how people look I really think if Ace wants to keep customers then they need to rethink about there employees and I'm not the first as I read other people's reviews I will be contacting corporate once again about this

One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch! I went into this store 6 weeks ago and was greeted by a big nasty belch from the large employee behind the cash register. When I brought it to his attention while paying, he said" I don't really care." That was obvious!! Then just yesterday, My husband and I went in together, they wanted my purse which is a small backpack. "Store policy" they say. I did not want to give it to the big olgur behind the counter because how he treated me previously. Another employee who was very polite escorted me throughout the store. The big obnoxious employee decided to come around behind me and stand there to intimidate me. When we obtained our three items and went to pay, Mr. Attitude decided to refuse to sell to us because I wouldn't give up my purse! He locked out the cash registers so another employee could not use them! So ridiculous. All the other employees were disgusted with his behavior. We left without purchasing and felt like we were common criminals. I called the manager the next day and all he never apologized and kept saying is, store policy, store policy. Hide behind your policy and don't give a care about how your clients are treated. I'm nearly 60 and have never been treated so poorly. We went to parkrose hardware. They didn't ask me for my purse/backpack and all their staff were friendly and helpful. Not ever going in this Ace hardware again. When I told the store manager we will never be back, he replied, "probably a good idea for us both." Instead of no stars, I at least gave this a single star for the rest of the employees who are decent human beings!

I shop here because it's close to my house and in a first time home owner. We habe alot of project to do around the house and I know the prices can be alittle higher sometimes but that doesn't bother me. However my last shopping experience was less then enjoyable. I went in looking to purchase some materials to work on my pool project and the gentlemen who help me must have been having a terrible day. He had a bad attitude and I really felt as though I was an inconvenience to him. I went as far as to ask him if he was having a bad day. And I requested another employee to help me. He scoffed at while walking away. I asked him his name and he replied with it doesn't mater. Then he said he name was Ron. (I found out later this wasn't his name) a lady come out from the back who said she was just here helping from another store. She was very pleasant and professional. I told her her employee must be having a bad day and that I've never been treated this was while shopping here. She then told me that the employee gets like that and she told me his real name. I'm leaving his name out for privacy reasons. I told her it's concerning that at employee would lie about there name while providing customers services to its customers. I thanked the lady for helping me and answering my questions and left without making a purchase. I'll probably shop there when I have to but if I have a project that requires someone to answer some questions or help me find something I'm more inclined to go to lowes or homedept in the future.

Your local neighborhood store is not always better than the big box store. Division Ace Hardware is a prime example. I have spent a lot of money at this store in the last few months. One of my recent purchases was some hose for my water catchment system. Yesterday was the first day we have had rain in a few months. I hooked up the hose and right away noticed there was a hole in the hose. I went back to the store and was told that cut hose is not a returnable item. I explained that the hose must of been damaged at time of purchase. The cashier did not care. She showed me where it states in small print under the item on the receipt that it states "no return". She told me to speak with the manager, which I did. He did not care either policy is policy... Did not take into consideration that I am in the store often and am a good customer. I understand the hose can not be resold it has a hole in it! It was defective when it was sold to me. Clearly they don't care about making things right. I will not do business with this store or any Ace Hardware for that matter. I decided I would go to Home Depot at Airport Way to find something to repair it. Now, they provided me GREAT customer service. The sales Associate asked if I had the hose in the car, which I did. I brought the hose in for him to see where it was damaged and he opened up some repair tape and fixed the hose free of charge and gave me the tape for future use. I was impressed with Home Depot going out of their way to help me.

Fantastic customer service - great variety and helpful staff!! I had been to several hardware stores for an aging pool heater, small fittings and connectors. Big chain HW store employees didn't have the care or the items needed. I was in a pinch due to the vendor coming that morning and not having the fitting for them to complete the work needed ( 3 week waiting time). Bob and the staff were helpful, empathetic to my issue and directed me , sat with me getting creative when the clear solution wasn't available. I walked out of the store not only with a solution but a smile and energetic at the help. The store is not near my home but I will be travelling there more often for my needs and patronage. Masks are required (I agree with this company policy), some agree and some don't but its to keep everyone safe, all staff wore them and it's well worth the mask!! TL:DR - Bob and staff are courteous, helpful past showing you where something is and invest themselves in your shopping/ hardware needs. Very thankful for a store like this during Covid!!

All the employees are curtious and knowledgeable. Miss the outdoor Garden Center. Hate but appreciate the plexiglass at checkout On our latest trip the Employees treated us COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN ALL THE TIMES EVER BEFORE!! Apparently we must have looked like we were THIEVES. Upon entering the store the FIRST associate to AWKWARDLY FOLLOW US APPEARED INSIDE OF 2 MINUTES. The SECOND guy did a SLIGHTLY BETTER job at "HELPING" us to find the items we were THERE TO PURCHASE! THE THIRD MAN........ this is what has really made us consider NEVER RETURNING TO THAT STORE......... Mr.THIRD followed us as we picked out our last items. And by "FOLLOWED" we mean LESS THAN 3 FEET BETWEEN HIM AND US!! SOCIAL DISTANCING WASN'T EVEN RESPECTED!!! OUR ENTIRE TRIP TOOK 10 MINUTES. We have a 4 year history of going here to "PURCHASE" the items we need. This was a POSITIVE PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY TO GO..........NOT ANYMORE!! CHECK YOUR SELVES ACE...... RESPECT SOCIAL DISTANCE OF 6 FEET !! RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Another bad review. Daryl Soli, PLEASE READ all these here and on yelp and make changes. Rude, uncaring and unhelpful inept staff. Called 30 minutes prior to arriving to verify they refilled propane. They said I'd have to carry them thru store to back. I explained the safety issue and weight, they said to pull around back and call. I did. When I did so they said I had to go to front and carry thru store, again I explained and they said to sit out back they would send someone. I waited and waited. Only to be told go to front and carry thru store. So I did. My two propane tanks are 57 lbs each. I had to carry thru store after filled. Please read reviews and fix multiple problems at your store or just put a sign out front to let potential customers know you DO NOT want to be helpful, courteous, professional etc.

If you need something hardware or house related, there is a good chance you will find it here. They still cut keys and have a nice selection of blanks. They have kithen small appliances to mops and brooms and cleaning supplies. Rope and chain to nails and bungie cords. They have sheet plastic they can cut for you as well. So if you need some pets supplies or potting soil, its a quick trip to this store. There are always sales and if you sign up for their saving card, you earn points that you get cash for your next purchase, that is nice. The employees seem to like their jobs and are pretty friendly.

BEWARE SHOPPERS! THEY LIED to me on the phone saying they carried a specialized product that I needed. It was a test I needed to perform for the purchase of my house. I was on a time constraint. I asked the lady 3 times to make sure it was the right test and they had it in stock. THrEE times she lied to me. Obviously too lazy to go check. It was a 45min drive to their store so that's why I called!!!!! 1 1/2 hrs wasted and I wont get the test on my house because the time was up....At the store when I was upset because I was lied to, all they said was, Oh Well.. Go to Home Depot! They like to help!

Sales reps Timothy & Tyler provided expert service recently. They're a great ensemble team at this store, and refer you to appropriate staff depending on area of expertise. Thanks you guys!! --------- Outstanding customer and product service. Also, extremely honest. They held my new mobile phone in a locked office overnight, the mgr. leaving message at the home phone to alert me they had it. They answer any question, and always go above and beyond. The manager, (James or Jamie), is accessible and oversees operations extremely well.

Jessica an employee at this location is super disrespectful and rude to customers, the manager even said she has been having issues with customers cussing at her and spitting at her and its probably because of how rude she is to the customers. And the manager isnt much better himself. This location used to have wonderful employees and me and my husband were regulars but with these new employees, we will not be going and dont recommend others go either, the poor customer service at this location is atrocious.

I've found most of the staff friendly until today. I wasn't the one that charged me for more than the items I purchased. A simple sorry goes a long way. Asked for a restroom (theres a slick little snow storm out so traffic is at a crawl) and was told "there's nothing I can do for you" again "sorry" would have gone a long way. The young man was polite and Jessi was polite but always has been. They've been my go to for all my projects but I don't feel welcome now. Nice is free

I called this store and spoken to jassie if they carry the parts that I needed, he told me they do carry it and I asked if they have stock for it. He eventually told me that he doesnt have time to look for that specific parts and ended up telling me to just drive down there and told him that I am far from that store and I wanted to make sure that they do have it. Still tell me that just drive down and to go there so they'll figure it out. What a customer service they have!!!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was looking for a particular size bolt for a wing nut I already had. I didn't want to have to buy a whole package of 500 just for 3. Guy took me down to that section, tried several and measured them against the one I had. Found a perfect fit. Dropped them in a bag, labeled and priced it, and I was good to go! This is the kind of service I like and truly appreciate! A great small town feel in the big city. Will definitely be back.

I was told first hand by James the manager that "we don't care about small businesses" and he could care less that he losses my business.. completely rude to me in front of other customers. After coming in SEVERAL TIMES and the cashier gave me a couple dollar discount on a bag of wood that sells for 12 there and 5 dollars other places.. he could of handled it COMPLETELY different. Let me say.. hell looks alot more than mine!

I use this place for items I know they have in stock. I usually check online 1st to see if they carry what I'm looking for. The sales staff can be condescending to down right rude at times. Just depends on who you ask for service. One sale associate smells like alcohol when your close most of the time. Still they have what I need sometimes so I will continue to shop there as they are the closest hardware store.

Thank God for local Ace stores! Not only do they have more well-educated staff then Home Depots there is more locations so when you're doing a job and need something specific you can always count on Ace to have it! There is a limited selection; staff is less than professional. Head to the 122nd and Powell Ace for better service. The little key cutter guy in the back was easily offended when I requested to know if the expensive electronic key he was making was guaranteed to work in my vehicle. Now he stalks me in the aisles every time I come in, I guess for doubting his key cutting prowess. Jeez man not worth it.

I called this Ace asking for a specific product which they said they had, I drove the 6 miles only to find they did not have it. The grouchy guy asked if I wanted him to call another Ace and I said that would be great. He then told me I needed to go stand at the checkout line and the checker would have to take care of it. Incredibly bad service for what is supposed to be a neighborhood hardware store.

I love that we have this Ace Hardware so close, friendly and helpful employees, large selection (especially in the screws and fasteners dept, seriously huge selection and things you can't find at your local big box hardware store, you know who I'm talking about...) and the price per gallon on Propane is consistently lower than any of the surrounding gas stations, with great service!

I love this store they have everything you need to fix little things, little repairs around your house. Great store. The staff were super helpful, friendly and didn't just throw the most expensive option at you, they showed me all the options, without having to ask. I also liked the stock and how clean and organized it is. It made it easier to shop at one stop rather than having to look all over town for stuff I'd expect a "hardware store" to carry! I give them a 3 because the manager is very nice & professional. Can't say the same for the 2 cashiers who did my refund. Acting like I did something to them the minute I walked in & that was only the 2nd time I was in that store. They tried very hard ( cashiers) to find a reason to deny my refund on my space heater even though I had my receipt.

This is the quintessential neighborhood hardware store. Easier to navigate - both inside and out (parking) than the big home improvement stores, Ace has a surprisingly wide selection of stuff. I love the e patience, the attention, and the appreciation I receive shopping here and try to support our locally owned franchises often as I can.

I've been shopping with these folks ( at their other stores ) for almost 30 years. They finally opened a store closer to me! I don't always find what I'm looking for but I stand a helluva lot better chance than at the big box stores. Plus i like keeping my dollars in the community. If you need hardware this is the place to go.

Friendly staff and it is conveniently located. Some of the products are a little higher priced but if I know what I need and how to install, this place works. Lots of products, but it is small, not like Lowes or HD. Hours are a little tough as they close pretty early. Great convenience and usually has what I'm searching for.

While there are a few Hardware Stores in my area, I will ALWAYS choose this location. The staff goes above, and beyond what customer service should be. I do a lot of DIY Projects, and I find that the staff is very knowledgeable about what is needed. Also the store is ALWAYS immaculate!!! You guys are AWESOME!!!

Here almost every other day picking up supplies. Company spends thousands here. Needed to use restroom. Nope. There employee yelled at me for even inquiring about the location of the restrooms. And then further insulted my intelligence by asking if I know how to read, while pointing at a very misleading sign.

Sorry, the employees here will be too busy with their personal conversations to help you..., unless of course, your little obedience mask slips off your nose. Then, (and only then) the employees will find it in them to give you some attention.

I had some keys made here & received great customer service. Clean & well-stocked store, interesting to browse in, which I found to be a surprise, as a hardware store normally isn't on my list of interesting places to go. Definitely not bargain prices, though store carried discounted & clearance items.

Everytime I have been to Ace, the entire team was courteous and helpful. I can always count on good service and advise here. The paper shredder was top notch that I got at Ace, but I was at another store, they had the smaller version at a much higher price. My gnomes are happy at their new home!!

Clean, friendly, great customer service. I forgot my cane outside out front&thought it long gone. I called&the amazing woman went outside&found it and they held it for me for 2 days until I could get back in there. Thank you Ace. Also if they don't have something you need they'll gladly order it.

Lots of really old product on the shelves that have discolored packaging covered in dust because of their poor merchandising placement and high prices. If you just need one or two things and don't want to bother with traffic they do have most of the basic essentials.

I went to the Division Ace Hardware to pick up some Magnolia Chalk Paint and was disappointed that they no longer carry it. However, Jeff was so helpful that I walked away with paint, brushes, and wood filler. I'm excited to start my project. Thank you Ace Hardware!

Always great customer service. Helps me find what I need. Has Ace Brands available in many products and as an Artist, I can find Ace brand paints cheaper than most stores I would shop at. I'm glad they are so close and always have something I need for my projects.

Very convenient for small hardware needs as it's right on Division and 162nd. People here are very helpful when you ask something or need to find things. We know what we need, we ask them where it is if we can't find it right away, grab and go check out. Easy.

They don’t have everything a big box store has but they have the basics. These days, YouTube is your friend because whether here or HD/Lowes the workers are probably not going to ve capable of helping you very much as far as home improvement knowledge.

This place has saved me several times finding parts and items that might have killed an hour at a large chainstore. It packs alot inside a hardware store. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful to assist you in finding what you need.
