Terrible service! Booked taxi and was called by driver outside only to find that the taxi wasnt actually in anstey and was in groby instead! Asked to speak to manager and was told he couldn't do anything and taxi driver would be with me soon even though I'd walked to the end of the estate, which took me 15 minutes. Still noone had arrived so called back and was told driver was still in incorrect place in groby! Asked to speak with manager for a discount as been waiting for 45 minutes (30 mins in cold/rain) but was told it was not their fault and driver had gone to the wrong place! I asked if they employed the drivers to which they said they did yet wouldn't not offer discount as ot was the drivers error!! Seriously!!!! Still sat waiting 45 mins later and I received a phone call stating BOTH drivers had got lost and they had in fact sent a third driver and they would reduce the price to £10 for the wait as 'they did not want to fall out with me'! What is this a school ground or a business?! All I wanted to do was get home safely and on time and they couldnt even do this or manage the situation correctly! Absolutely terrible service and as a women I was left waiting on the side of a country road on my own for 45 minutes with no real apology! I was asked for both the post code and address of the pick up and if it was a new build and still the driver could not follow the instructions. I was also left in the middle of nowhere feeling alone and vulnerable and the company still did not appear to hurry their driver. Once the new driver arrived he was fantastic and knew exactly where he was going but I was still reluctant to get in due to the wait and customer service I had experienced. I will not be using this taxi company again in a rush, especially as a venerable woman in the middle of nowhere. I was shown no compassion or understanding as a customer.

Not a bad taxi firm 9/10 always been reliable for me. The only reason I have given it 4/5 and not 5/5 is because some drivers let the firm down, for instance. I was at the hospital last week with my partner for a scan, my elderly disabled grandmother wanted to come along and she did, the way there, lovely taxi driver friendly and respectful no complaints, on the way back I rang for the taxi, the lovely lady operator told me there was a driver round the corner he will be 5 mins, so I wheeled my grandmother out to wait. The taxi turned up pulled up over the road, then when my partner went to check if it was for us, he said no (as he was sat on his phone) he sat there for 15 mins then drove off, I rang back to office and they said he had cleared the job I remember which car it was my self so I must say, the next time I order a Beaumont cab and it's him I'll simply pop my head in the door and explain why he's not getting my fair, and I'll call back the office for another driver. Other than that experience can't fault the firm it's self as I say most the drivers are friendly and professional, as are the employees Manning the phones

Absolutely atrocious customer service and organisational skills today, usually really don't have problems. This morning I made a booking and clearly stated where I wanted to go, the telecommunicater even repeated it back to me and said she'd booked it in. On my way my taxi driver asked me where on the road I would like to be dropped off, he had no idea where I wanted to go, I had to phone the office only to find out that it wasn't booked in properly in the first place, only to be told that the lady who booked it in was new, (she isn't as I've spoken to her on ample occasions, the driver even said she'd worked there for five years) then my taxi driver took me to a completely different location in which I wanted to go. Again!, I had to phone back the office and ask them to give the postcode through to the driver, as he couldn't change the location within consent, only to be rudly spoken to and hung up on. Really not impressed with today's service at all. I've used this taxi firm for three years, it's safe to say after the arrogance on the telephone I won't be using your service again.

Ordered for a pick-up from A&E, was told they'd call when they were there but they were at the wrong exit...apparently my fault as the driver very aggressively said "why didn't you tell me you were there?" then ended the call, even after I'd tried several times to call to help guide him, only to get voicemails each time.He eventually turned up in a car with no signage showing which company it was from so I opened the front passenger door to check it was our booking. The driver very bluntly just said "get in the back"! I told him why I'd opened the door but had no response at all. After a 20 minute journey home at speed we arrived and I told the driver how rude he'd been, that I had tried to help and that we wouldn't use them again...no response again. If I hadn't been with an ill relative trying to get home I would have walked away and used another company. I'd give 0 stars if I could... DO NOT USE BEAUMONT TAXIS..horrible experience!

I strongly would think before booking this firm as I booked them for a 2 way taxi today and was given a set cost, outbound was charged at the agreed rate and the inbound was charged over 23% extra which I paid so not to offend the driver. I called the office after to speak to the rudest person I have ever spoken to in business to say we tuff that’s the price who cars what you think fuel prices are high we can do what we want and we have been here for 20 years and we will be here for 20 more. He also went on to slate other taxi firms including Birstall cabs!! What a shocking and disgusting company who will never be used by me, my family or all of my friends and business colleagues!!!

Feb 24: Late for nearly 1 hour, can’t believe it’s so not professional, not an apology, I am so sure this type of service will not survive too long!!! Feb 28: Update. The manager apologized to me the next morning and driver showed up early. I used the service (since I already booked them prior to) for the rest of my stay and drivers were all showed up early waiting for me, and they were pleasant to ride with. Other than my first ride, I'd say I enjoyed the rest of 4 rides with them, so I also upgraded my rating. Overall, their car quality and service is good, price is very reasonable (a bit better than Uber), I will continue using them when I return in the future.

Been using Beaumont Taxis since they first started for years, people on the phone taking bookings are very good and most drivers are good however I had a new driver tonight that has let this company down, picked us up on time, didnt speak all the way, ( which I’m not bothered but just saying no bad conversations) get to destination, get out of car like I do every time and driver shouts ‘you not paid’ I said I’m just coming to pay you, he says ‘give me money and go’ ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS DRIVER, I used to be a taxi driver myself and would never speak to a customer like this. Big let down for a usually great taxi company

I pre ordered a taxi to pick me up from a festival last night. The taxi was booked for 11:20. I exited the festival at around 11:10. My phone had died so I started walking around trying to find the taxi. The taxi was nowhere to be seen so we rang them off my friend phone at 11:23 to be told the taxi had left as “he’d been waiting for 15 minutes” (which is strange as the taxi was booked for 11:20 and this was 11:23. I asked to speak to a manager to try and get the taxi to turn back around but the manager put the phone down on me. The taxi rank then blocked my calls and left me stranded. Worst service ever. Would not recommend to anyone

Just rang to book a taxi. Got a phone call to say he’s outside went outside as soon as got the phone call and the taxi man wasn’t there rang up and the guy on the phone was EXTREMELY rude and said ‘it was half an hour ago your taxis been and gone’ it wasn’t at all it was ten minutes ago and I was out there as soon as he rang to say outside I explained that and he then accused me of lying and in a raised voice repeated himself and said your taxis been and gone. Customer service skills are absolutely shocking rang club and they were amazing and out within 5 minutes should take note from them if you want to keep your business running.

Avoid this company. Paid £165 in advance for LHR airport pick-up. Driver was 40 minutes late and not in the right place, After one hour we had to go and meet him (we thought he met us!). I called him 8 times to determine his location. Finaly left airport over I hour late. Driver did not know the airport, nor how to leave car park as he had no credit card to leave! He stopped twice on hard shoulder of M25 to correct fault on seat belts - despite me saying do not. Car was had very bad smell. We wore face masks all the journey. Complained the next day and was told the 'boss' would call us. We are still waiting. Unacceptable

Absolutely appalling. Rang in the morning to book a people carrier as there were 4 of us plus our dog, and the taxi was needed for 7:00pm. Taxi eventually turned up at close to 7:20 after a few calls to the office and being fobbed off every time with different versions of how long the taxi would be. When it eventually arrived it wasn’t the people carrier we’d booked and instead just a Honda Civic, resulting in three people squashed into the back seat and our dog not able to be clipped in securely. No apology, no offer of a reduction to the price. Worst taxi company I’ve used for a long time and will never use again.

Booked a cab to pick us up from Birmingham airport last week when we landed...no taxi.!! & no "supposedly missed call" on my phone. I'm sure if I had "supposedly" given you the wrong flight details you'd have tried to call earlier than when my phone was off on the plane as you'd have to check for delays a little earlier than a couple of hours before we were due to land.! We then had to wait 45 minutes for you to send a taxi who tried to charge us more because you hadn't told him the arranged price. Very disappointed with this service!

Absolutely rude call handlers, inspite of booking a cab four hours prior, for six pm cab didn't turn up till 0625 pm when spike to call handlers very rude and put the phone down, they even offered me to cancel the booking call another cab company. This is for notice of Mr. Arif and Mr Asif hope you read this message and train your staff for customer care. My purpose booking locally was to support local business but your staff doesn't seem to see it's customers needs service not being go and book somewhere else.

Speaking on behalf of a guest who has a slight speech impediment, who ordered a taxi for 9.30 pm, this company then proceeded to first send the taxi at a time not requested, and then cancelled without notice when my guest tried to rebook. My daughter has also used this company previously to get to and from work, and there were problems with either taxis turning up half hour to forty minutes late or not at all, despite being local to my area. Not a very pleasant or service friendly company.

Shocking service. Booked a taxi for 5.30am it arrived at 5.40am and then kept beeping its horn outside. When I got in the taxi I stated that what they were doing was rude as it was 5.40am and people were sleeping. I was then told by the driver that I was rude for complaining then continued to get pure abuse from the driver for the entire journey. If I didn't need to be at work at a certain time I would of got out of the taxi immediately without paying.

Beaumont Taxi is probably the easiest and most efficient taxi company I've ever used. Always on time, both drivers and telephone operators are friendly and helpful and the prices are more than fair. I also like how easy it is to book and track with their app and you have the option to pay cash or card, which is so convenient as you don't have to worry about drawing cash out somewhere. Would definitely recommend and will keep using.

Only used a couple of times so far after being let down by my regular company, they managed to get me a taxi at really short notice(20 mins) the few times I have used then they have been on time, all the drivers have been very pleasant and the guys on the books are also very friendly, polite and pleasant, they have now got a new regular customer, will also be using them for all my staff and recommending to all family and friends.

Do not use. Service terrible. Booked a taxi for 2am. It did not srrive on time. When booked asked for contactless payment and they agreed to send a taxi with this facility. They did not. When I asked the driver about this he preceded to changed route to a cash point and then sanded a higher payment than what was agreed. Left with no choice but to pay as I was in the middle of no where. Shame on this service exploiting people.

Will never use this company again. Have used it for several years and when they took over Frank's taxis. I ordered a taxi for 9pm they told me they Diddnt have one then proceeded to ring me several times after 11pm.when ringing for a taxi on seperate occasion I got the Spanish inquisition as to what happened previously even though it was their fault. Used to trust and recommend them. Not now will take my business elsewhere

I took this taxi service only twice, being new to Leicester I don't really know what taxis are the best. Honestly I am well pleased about the company and their drivers as they arrived earlier than announced on the phone and tried to get me to work as soon as they could and for being really nice staff. I also think that the fare from Beaumont Leys to Oadby is not so expensive (£13 for 4.9 miles), so I recommend them.

I ues this company for years but I try to get a taxi from St George's retail park back to my home was told 35 minutes we decided to wait for the taxi as it was raining. Called them back to find out where the taxi is only to be told it was outside where I work told them where it's supposed to be ok I send them there had call say going to be late I told them cancel the taxi order uber home in 10 minutes

Have been using beaumont taxis for the past 10 years and never been able to fault them. Great phone manners when taking bookings, Drivers are very punctual ( in fact mostly before time), I get a text message and call when the driver has arrived, and the prices are very competetive. Most of all - I've always been respected and had a courteous ride always. Thank you for being fabulous

After been your customer for years and been patient with you, you finally blew it when you made me wait for more than an hour at the airport with 3 small kids. Beaumont Taxi you are unreliable and not punctual at all. Worse of all is the people in your office are liers and talk like they don't know what they doing. Stupid service with bunch of wired drivers who try to over charge you yet after confirming the price over the phone! Once I've said I don't have cash on me need to pop to cash machine the guy on the phone confirmed everything with 7 pounds but the driver want to charge me 8 pounds for popping to cash machine!!!! The funny thing they are always ready to argue over a penni!!!

I'm a regular customer for over the past 2 years. Taxi service is excellent. On time. Really friendly drivers. But the people who handles the calls are not well trained. I always do pre booking. But these people mixed up with the date and times and do the wrong bookings. This happened me several times and I had to ended up with late arrival to my work.

Awful experience with this company, constantly stating 5 minutes away, after a 30 minute delay. Only finally told the truth about location when it was too late. The taxi was pre-booked for 16:30, wasn't even near the area at 17:00. Appointment was missed due to this. They refused to compensate for the charges endured. No wonder people prefer Uber!

The worst service I’ve ever used, from the call to the ride. When I rang base there was a rude man on call and when my driver arrived the same man asked the driver to leave me and go pick up something personal for him. I was left behind with no taxi or way to make contact after a night out. I’m so disappointed. I would never again use them.

We used Beaumont taxi’s again for transport to Birmingham airport. Each way the driver was on time (actually 5 mins early on way there). Both drivers very friendly and safe drivers. We don’t even ring round any more to get other quotes as they are extremely reliable. Thank you for making our holiday stress free

Originally I had this service at 5/5 stars. Ordered a taxi twice now, and each time they have been AT LEAST 15 minutes late - without even an apology! Then, the driver had the audacity to tell me to hurry up when getting in - even though HE was late as he decided to go to McDonalds. Bloody ridiculous.

Booked a taxi 3/4 hours in advanced and paid up front only as i had an appointment at 6pm. I booked the taxi for 5 30 which turned up 26 minutes late. The taxi rank is just around the corner, so if I'm going anywhere I always go to them. Usually get a taxi within about 10 minutes, fare is cheap and the drivers are always friendly. They seem to take the most direct route instead of going the long way round. I would recommend them.

Booked the taxi for 2.30, had a recorded message saying its running late. Turned up at 2.45. Taxi driver drove really slow, he was talking to someone on his mobile phone. I had to tell him to put his foot down had an appointment at 3. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment.

Left a family stranded in the rain at 11:00 (taxi was pre booked) on Saturday night, chased up until 11:30. Then told our taxi wouldn't be coming. No appology. Just said it was no use arguing he would get us a taxi in a hour. Went elsewhere. I won't use again.

Great service, always on time. They've been exceptionally helpful to me as a wheelchair user especially when travelling alone - I've a tricky chair to dismantle and reassemble and the drivers have never complained. Decent fares, too. Highly recommended.

After several bad experiences with other taxi companies around Leicester, I have finally found one who is reliable, prompt and have extremely friendly drivers. I use Beaumont taxis regularly and I cannot fault them, they have a customer for life!

Worst taxi company ever! Extremely rude customer service. My friend left her phone in the taxi by accident she called back the taxi company and they denied having it ! The drivers stole her phone clearly . Their extremely rude and unhelpful.

Have used them frequently. They always arrive on time, and the drivers I have had have all been great. The taxis are not metered as there are set prices, it would be helpful if the price was quoted when you book, without having to ask.
