Park
"It's normally our favourite local park for walking with our dogs"
"5/5 if you just stay near the lake like most of these reviews"
"The park is an amazing place to go to"
"How lucky we are to have such a wonderful park on our doorstep"
"We went during the afternoon today and there were a lot of people"
It's normally our favourite local park for walking with our dogs. It's also a great place for parents and children. The park is large, it has meadows, woodland, a lake, a river, playgrounds, a skate park and a BMX track. In my review, I have only given 3 stars because there is a lot of noisy and very intrusive building work endlessly going on and it is affecting large areas of the park, some of which have been turned into ugly mud patches (26-Jul-19). Early in the day, there are very many dog walkers and joggers in the park. There are many different ways to follow with plenty of bins dotted around. Navigation in the woods is difficult for newcomers because the signposts indicate places that are miles away. If necessary, I suggest asking someone for directions, are usually plenty of friendly people around keen to help. Every Saturday morning, the Ravensbourne side of the park is disrupted by a weekly running event at 9am. The new lake has proven very popular and lots of people have been having fun. Canoeing, paddling and swimming were taking place as promised but access is currently suspended while extra safety precautions are put in place. The suspension is for an unspecified duration (written on 26-Jul-19). I suggest avoiding the park before and after the jazz festival on Saturday 27-Jul-19 because there will be severe disruption to park users while the performing area is put up and taken down. As shown in my photos, the performing area is right next to the new lake and is another reason for the lake's temporary closure. Just like the original car park, the new car park is available by entering the park near Beckenham Hill Station. However, car parking can be hellish on busy days and the narrow road into and out of the park gets blocked by traffic from time to time.
5/5 if you just stay near the lake like most of these reviews. If you travel off the beaten path you will find a lot of rubbish and at various locations there is old rusty metal sticking out of the ground. My dog hurt herself running into a metal fence that was buried in the ground near west gate road, it's very sharp and dangerous. I hardly ever see any staff venture past the lake. It's like who ever runs the park doesn't really care for it pasted the mansion and coffee shop. As for the glendale end (downham end) In about 10 years of me pretty much using this park daily I would estimate I have seen the staff 20 times. There is often motorcycles that have been burnt out then dumped on the fields or pushed into the river & that can take months for the parks staff to remove, all the while being a hazard to use users but mainly our dogs all chemicals and fluids leaking onto the grass and in the water. Currently there's a hole in the field that I know many dog walkers have reported yet months later glendale have yet to even mark it so that people don't fall into it. It was dog walkers (the Spaniel ladies) they went to the trouble of covering the hole and making others aware of the issue.
The park is an amazing place to go to. Very large areas of grassland scattered with trees, and the lake is extremely pretty, as well as a truly gorgeous experience to swim in. The cafe has very good ice-cream and a decent drink selection, but unexpectedly, possibly some of the best pizza available in London. Incredibly high-quality food with nice dining tables with an excellent view of the park.
Playground
The fairly large playground is great for little kids, fitted with a sandpit, climbing frames, swings, and more. It will definitely be packed with children on weekends.
Restrooms
There are restrooms next to the cafe, and are quite well maintained. There might be a bit of a queue if it’s busy, so plan wisely.
Dog-friendliness
The cafe is one of the most dog-friendly places I’ve found. They have a whole mini-shop for dogs, with toys and food. They also have dog-friendly ice-cream, so you can enjoy your frozen treats with your household canine.
Picnic area
The park is very large, and as a result, there is lots of room for picnics. You may be tempted by the cafe though…
How lucky we are to have such a wonderful park on our doorstep. A huge amount of money has been spent to turn what was always a great walking area with a council run golf course into a star in our community. Imposing manor house overlooks what was part of the fareway. Now in warm weather families relaxing on the grass. A large lake, lost for many years reinstalled for wild swimming and boating. Sadly a rather ugly metal fence surrounding it. But apparently only temporary, after a very unfortunate accident with a child in the early opening. Not enough signage initially to warn of deep water, and maybe not enough parent responsibility.....but that's another story! Great play area for kids, BBQ area gardens, and cafe in the old stable area. Fabulous ancient woodlands, that has been sympathetically restored and wonderful in the spring with carpets of bluebells.
We went during the afternoon today and there were a lot of people. However there was enough space between people so not a problem. Limited car parking space so plan the journey. Some parking meters were not taking coins and the card payment was not working. The mobile app or telephone service is available. Don't be tempted to park on the grass verge on approach to car park as we saw lots of cars with penalty notices! Only one cafe on site with lots of people queuing for hot food and coffee! Ice cream van was around as well. Several toilets were available though. Saw some people wild swimming though the lake was fenced off in parts. Good for kids of all ages as there is a playground for younger kids and also climbing area for junior aged kids. Best time will be morning and early afternoon. Gets busy after that.
Whatever you appreciate about parks, you’ll likely be able to do it here. From wide spaces to woods, a lake, play area, formal gardens and of course ice cream. Set around the Manor House this is a big park which is hard to appreciate in one visit. Nearby is a large complex of buildings (which often hold activities) that include the more formal gardens and of course ice cream. Next to that the large play park would be more than enough to entertain kids but when you have logs to climb, water to follow, a lake and lots of trees/sticks/etc. The trees line pathways and there’s a direct line from the train station to the house which is more beautiful when lit up in the evenings. The amount of space means you can be social or secluded with ease, and it’s a lovely safe space for a picnic with the family.
This is a big green area in which to relax, walk, partake of the refreshments from the converted Manor House or walk a dog, use the man made lake foe swimming or other activities, etc. I remember this place from when it was both a park and 18 hole golf course and all the fairways and greens have been incorporated into the park itself. During the summer Beckenham Place Park can be used as a music venue for small festivals which are worth looking out for.
Playground
There is a sectioned off area specifically for use as a children's playground
Restrooms
There are toilets around the Monor House
Dog-friendliness
Dogs are welcome everywhere
Picnic area
You are welcome to bring picnics into the the park and there is an area specifically for barbecues
A lot of old rusty metal sticking out of the ground in the park. Seems like all of the effort is situated around the lake area, the rest of the park has been somewhat forgotten. Burnt motorcycles can take weeks to get removed, old bins that have rusted away, a wetland with no water, crumbling pathways, dead trees left to fall rather than safely cutting them down. Forgotten construction equipment like fences, racks and there's even a digger bucket berried at the ravensbourne river. The river is full of plastic and other man made objects. It's a lovely park but once you get past the surface it easy to see it could be a lot better. I have been going here for the last 10 years and don't recall any issue with dogs or their walkers.
I Have looking in google best place for swimming in London. We Come there first before purchasing £5 per hour for a swimming and we are right, here is answer; 1. so poor services, feeling like a duck in the lake; 2. very dusty in the park especially when some wind; 3. adults swimming in the lake with a pink life west, why adults and why pink:)?; 4. parking £3 per our; We pay huge money on taxes and we still have to pay for swimming in the lakes. This review relating the lake mostly and none friendly stuff in the gates who check you in before let you for swimming. For wasting time and money stay in the queue, wait to be assisted by unfriendly stuff, - better have a walk in the lovely park and get out from there for free!
Great green space or park. Very organic rather than ornate with large pond that you can swim in. Lots of dog walkers are present and there is a little cafe. Sadly not much seating inside but lots outside so don’t expect to shelter in cafe on rainy day. There is a public building with artists in residents but no public events were taking place on my visit. The entrance wasn’t obvious but I went with a friend who’d been before. Bit of a walk when you get off the bus to get to the lake and the cafe!!! There was a new restaurant being built when I visited but it wasn’t open. Nice for day out and a picnic with friends. Or look out for a public event.
I visit this park regularly. The autumn colour is magical. I feel a sense of peace and grounding when I visit. The cafes are pricey but a welcome stop and very popular. You can swim in the lake some days or chat to the dog walkers. The gardens around the stable block are beautifully kept and the kids play area is sandy safe and well used in the summer. They have markets, events and dog walkers live it. But don't visit when it rains I like having the place to myself.
Dog-friendliness
heaven. The largest open space in South London. The only place they can't go is the children's playground.
Absolutely love this park, beautiful scenic, peaceful as well as busy and loads of things on. Cold water swimming and paddle boarding can be booked online, and is super popular in the summer. Amazing swimming for dogs in the river and some man made mud ponds! Forest and space as well as a wonderful cafe with vegan options! Huge children’s play area, pop up festivals and a second hand clothes sand furniture shop where I’ve jabbed a bargain or two! Parking is expensive but plenty of free nearby - if you don’t mind walking in. Probably my favourite park in London.
The Beckenham Mansion house is available for hire for weddings and parties....18th century Mansion with cafe situated below...refurbish stables that holds cafe where you can buy icecream....in summer music events .....beautiful formal and informal gardens....ponds Woodlands and place to hold BBQ....245 arces...great playground for kids.
Playground
good selection of swings slides and climbing frames....sand pit too lots of space
Picnic area
good sitting areas near the pond and good sitting area near the old stables
A beautiful place to spend a summer evening - lots of different food stalls on a Thursday evening. The whole community come and bring picnics and have drinks on the lawns. Kids running around and playing - no one arguing or being rude, it's just lovely here. Since they've added the lake and a formal play area and gardens, the park has really become a destination in the local area. Lots of space to walk and enjoy the excellent planting. A new formal cafe (not cheap!) And a great area for children to climb and swing and play.
A wonderful nature escape in Beckenham. Wish the weather was bright. The park is really big and very pretty. There is a cafe tok. You can pick a trail and explore the area. If you love flowers, you should go here. There is a Tennis court if you wish to play Tennis. Looks like there is construction / demolition happening around the Tennis court area, so mind your steps / watch for sign boards, keep children / puppies at your sight. Enjoy the beautiful Beckenham Place Park. Thank you.
It's really busy now in our 3rd lockdown. Its stills great space to get some space. It's a brand new world, and lockdown is in the past. Sunday markets and fares are the norm. It's my local park, and I have taken up park runs. It's great, I have always been running, but I have only run solo with my beautiful two times London Marathon wife. Running with and against others with a structured time recorded system makes you run faster and strive to obtain Pbs in a lovely park setting.
Came here for a friend's birthday over a June weekend. They all went swimming in the lake here but I arrived later on. They said the swimming was great. They booked slots and paid for it ahead of time. It's a beautiful park. Especially when it's sunny. They had toilets available next to the lake until late afternoon. Where in the day they have a little shop and restaurant. . Bring your own picnic, music speakers, and toilet roll and you're set for a delightful afternoon here.
One of the best park in London. Large area of green place to have a walk. There is a small kid play area and cafe is also nearby with toilets. Lights display and Christmas fun fair going on at the moment. Pay and display parking is near the main entrance. Make sure you pay and display if you park within the park or you will get a fine. There are plenty of free residential parking nearby with a a short walk. Bring a picnic blanket in the summer for picnic. Recommended to all.
I remember the park before it had the lottery grant and there used to be a golf course. There would be 5-6 people playing golf and 10 people walking there dogs at the most. Now the park has so much more going on. The pizzas in the homestead cafe are the best i have ever tasted and I've tasted a few. They also put a lake in the park and all new paths as you could walk around it before. There are woods as well. They have concerts , fairs farmers markets and much more.
Some pleasant grassed slopes on former golf-course interspersed with some mixed woodland with a variety of mature and veteran trees including prominent Oaks. Some dense shrub-land east of the dissecting railway line. A recent extensive overhaul and upgrade including a renovated Stable/Homestead block and restored lake. Also sport facilities and a crumbling Palladian Villa in a memorable setting with a premium of unadulterated fresh air. Worthy of wider renown.
Is a nice park as it have big green opens areas with a golf park and forest area well have a lot to do walk and look but as always some people dont even bother to look after it as to much rubbish in the foresr area people leaving the own waste expecting some else to clean for them the own litler. But after thar its a nice walk we do take our own cat for walk she love it been in the forest as she like do business in the wild nice park is our local little forest
Bpp big advantage is it's size. It's one of the largest green areas around. It's also very varied with woods, meadows and grass hills. They are also good facilities near the house as well as a formal garden. The playground could definitely be better. For dog walkers it's an ideal size. If you are an open water swimming fan your luck is in. My only complaint really is also it's advantage it's open 24*7 which means I'm not sure about being there late at night.
A great place to meet friends for a walk, plenty to do for everyone the lovely park has a sand pitt so donr forget your bucket, a lovely cafe and lots to offer for families in the evenings and holidays.
Playground
A lovely nature playground, very spread out and something for all ages
Dog-friendliness
Lots of open space for off lead walking on the paths or up in the woods, there is even a river walk with lots to see and do along the way.
Brilliant enormous green space and woods. Beautifully kept gardens, picnic area, lake for swim and sports. Play areas for kiddies, car parking.. only flaw there is app parking and cashless. Cafes in homestead and mansion... again sadly cashless so I never use them, take my own food and drink. If they ever accept cash then I'll use them. Could do with more seating along gravel paths, and certainly more toilets.
Had been using the park for over 55 years. Can’t afford to park there any more and who ever decide to put the swimming pond in the park was totally misguided . No sooner it was open they closed it , buy putting an ugly metal fence round it, due to an accident in the water. Unfortunately i saw that coming . A CRIMINAL waste of money, used to price people out of the park. Very lucky some one didn’t drown.
An absolutely incredible park - it’s huge (over 230 acres) and has a Georgian mansion which houses a record store, a homestead cafe surrounded by wildflower gardens, a wild swimming lake, lots of woods - home to owls, woodpeckers and parakeets amongst other birds - which are great for runners, dogs and walkers. It’s been such a treasure during the pandemic - feel very lucky to get to visit it!
Great open space and love to run here through the ancient woodland. Perfect for family picnics, dog walkers, runners and walkers. The addition of the outdoor lake is great too ♀️. It's my favourite local place for enjoying nature and feeling at peace Good facilities for eating and drinking at the Homestead Cafe and the Mansion Bar & Cafe and lots of activities throughout the year.
I love this park almost as much as Greenwich Park. The land is massive with an assortment of views and a number of seats. They have a manor, cafe, garden, lake, bike trail, you name it! The grounds are well maintained. Though I've no idea about the loo situation because I haven't had the need to use one but they probably have good toilets in the cafe. A must visit for picnic goers.
I visited this park few days ago. I simply loved the place. It is one of the visiting spots for visitors in London. One thing I observed is many of the local people are coming to place park with their pet dogs. I could observe more dogs than number of humans over there !!!! There is a natural pool to swim and enjoy. The mansion is quite old. A good one to visit and peace.
This park is so lovely I could not believe I was in London and not the countryside. Extremely clean park and clean facilities as well which always makes a difference. The bar and Cafe here are really good and there's just tons of green and trees to walk around. Definitely coming back here again, there's an easy bus from Lewisham station right to the park
Great Park with woodland walks and open grassland. Good for dog walkers hikers and cyclist. Two cafes serve hot and cold drinks including beers and wines and hot and cold snacks. The lake would be beautiful if it was not completely fenced off with ugly black fencing and only paying swimmers allowed in. Such a shame. Complete waste of tax payers money.
I was presently surprised. I lived locally for years and that it was just a park . However we find a small bar, cafes serving pizzas and homemade cakes. Also a dog food shop selling quality food. There also a beautiful garden volunteer vegetable patch for lol food banks. A safe children's at area with sand. There's a payable carpark with paybyphone.
Very beautiful and nicely done up park! Has loads of places to picnic, walk and be outdoors. There’s a swimmable lake and places to get food and drink! Nice place to get dinner or relax in the afternoon/evening!
Restrooms
There are public restrooms by the cafes
Picnic area
Loads of picnic benches and open spaces to have a picnic!
A real treasure, it rambles on so lots to explore. Nice spots to get food/drinks with vegan options. Great for dog walking followed by a dog ice-cream. They hold great events like antique fairs. There's a swing park for the kids and a lovely flower garden and not to forget the wild swimming that you need to book in advance.
The park is great. It's clean and you feal very welcome here. There is lots of places to rest. It's great place for picknics, you can use provided tables or just sit on grass. We love it for huge amount of dogs walking around which we can admire. I can recommended local coffee shop with great pizza and specialty coffee.
Huge park with a great lake, house, gardens and cafe. Enough open grass to run around in, and enough forest to get lost exploring in - a great slice of the countryside in London. The pizzas from the cafe are great, really good beer selection and occasional live music in the cafe courtyard are all extra reasons to visit.
I've lived in Lewisham 18 years, and only just visited Beckenham Palace Park. Apparently it used to be a private golf course. It's a real gem and a wonderful place to retreat from traffic and busy streets. Kids loved it. Right now it has a fun fair, winter fair, and a Circus big top for Christmas season. It's dreamy
Huge park: playground and walking, running, cycling access. Dogs and children everywhere. Adorable place. I have walked around the two large fields behind the railway, then I had to come back to the bridge. The smaller lake (that I have discovered) was beautiful. Thanks for everyone who gave this park to the public.
Lovely park now the golf course has returned to parkland and with the addition of the swimming lake it's got everything.. Dense woods and undulating fields, cafes for hoomans and their doggos, small formal gardens, even a vintage wares shop! Plenty of parking and regular markets and events.. Thoroughly recommended!
Wonderful park, very grand and loads of space for dog walking, summer picnics and events which they do. Great bar and cafe in the main building and very friendly staff. Would of given 5 stars but the ‘lake’ has awful steel barriers surrounding it and is an eyesore, such a shame as could look so beautiful!
Great park to explore with plenty of rolling hills and woodland. Swimming looks out of action at the moment but there is a large lake at the bottom of the park. Lovely pizza, coffee and cakes form the main house and plenty of benches and places to.sit in the gardens. Beer hatch currently closed.
Beautiful gardens and woodlands. Not impressed with the high car park charges (paid £4 for 2hrs - disgraceful). Two hours not enough to appreciate such a wonderful place, which is such a shame. Would have liked to have spent the day there, NOT doing a sprint from the woods back to the car park.
Beautiful park with wild nature, you can lose yourself among trees and paths, ideal for running, walking, cycling, exercising, meeting with friends or family and enjoying a delicious barbecue or picnic. It is always a good alternative to visit this wonderful site! ☀️ …
Big open space for the family or anybody. Play games have your daily exercises. The inside was adequate for owners selling their goods. I also expected more stalls outside a little food market. Would go again for the peace its wasn't over crowded. Sunshine day
A beautiful relaxing place to visit. The parkland was laid out by John Cator in the late 18th century when he built the mansion. So many beautiful trees and gardens near the old stables. There is a cafe, kiosk and fantastic playground for kids. Lots of walks.
Nice for long walks, large woods, and trails. Nice courtyard cafe for food and drinks. Parking is available at a cost. Great park run very challenging. Very nice open lake you can actually swim in.
Playground
Nice childs assault course style playground
A good place is a haven of simplicity, where the beauty of uncluttered moments and uncomplicated joys shines brightly. It's a destination that invites us to find contentment in life's simplest pleasures and appreciate the elegance of a minimalist existence.
We arrived late afternoon. The car park charges up until 5pm via the pay to park app with charges depending on your car's CO2 rating. The park was pleasant and clean. Facilities catered for children more than most parks. It was a pleasant could of hours.
I adore this gorgeous park, so abundant in the love and wonderment it provides for so many beings, the wildlife it supports, the people from far and near, with their loved ones, kids and dogs. It's such a blessing to have this amazing place close by!
Lovely woodland park with lake in the middle where you can book your swimming lesson. It has two Cafes with great ice cream and toilets. Kids playground and lovely garden where you can sit. Great place for walk or just relax with a cup of coffee.
Interesting walk, nice open space to take the dogs. You have to pay for parking and there is a small boating lake that you can swim in. Ice cream van was expensive £13 for 3 or more I'm just tight with my money. Good way to spend a sunny sunday
Hidden gem in Lewisham. Car park in side the park. Would be hard to find space on a hot day. The lake was closed today as they were working on the footpath. Kids loved the forested area. Lots of space for running, exploring and picnicking.
A very big park, with a lake, swimming & lifeguards, a mansion house, cafes/bar, large park located near Beckenham in the London Borough of Lewisham.
Dog-friendliness
Video posted for the lake & cafes/bar showing dog friendliness
An incredible amount of green, wooded parkland in a densely populated part of London. The bold white mansion anchors it all, with a selection of activities around it. The new kids playground, themed in bare wood, is amazing.
This is a large park with lots of different things to explore. I hadn't heard of this park before I visited in February as part of walking The Capital Ring, but I would be happy to visit here again to explore more if it.
Very nice park, lots of space for dogs and good options for a light lunch
Restrooms
Toilets available at the various cafes
Dog-friendliness
Very dog friendly
Picnic area
Plenty of space for picnics
Wow just moved to Bromley and so happy to have this close by! Lovely Sunday morning with the family. Food market. Cold water swimming. Woodland. Bar.Cafe.Kids play area. Open space. Beautiful gardens. Happy Days …
Had family day in this park, it has paid parking which varies based on the type of car you have. You can still park outside for free and walk in pending on how you feel. Has a nice picnic spot with a bar and toilets.
Stunning park, great location, good transport links, the old mansion has toilets and a cafe. Also the old stables have been refurbished and they look great ! Shane the lake is been closed, hopefully it reopens soon
Great Park, lots of places to explore. Woodland, open grass lands, expanses of water with activities. Great for walking. There are too many dogs running about though bothering people minding their own business.
Largely stunningly beautiful with a few areas cordoned off in Feb/March 2019 for works. On the plus side the Mansion looked as gorgeous and was active as usual and we should have a swimming lake by the summer!
Went to the Hospitality in the Woods event and it was a lovely setting for it. I just hope that all the rubbish which people left strewn everywhere got cleaned up so that people could enjoy the park again.
A 'big old space' offering sand pits, playgrounds, swimming lake, woodland walks, open spaces and not to forget, coffee with brioche breakfast buns! Love it. Parking is available in the park but limited.
Amazing place to walk your dog. Such a great open park with so much to offer. Would recommend to any dog walker.
Dog-friendliness
Lovely dog friendly cafe. Lots of bins and space to run around.
This is a great park for a day out, very clean with loads of space for little ones to run around and play. There are places for kids to climb, a really nice flower garden with a small bar, food area.
A regular destination for all the family, for dog walks, coffee with a friend, a visit to the various markets during the month. Intend to start swimming in the lake this year when it gets warmer.
The largest park in the SE London. The eateries are very good, the restroom clean and in good condition. Lots of areas to choose from to relax in the park. Swimming too.
Restrooms
Clean
Always a winner. Lovely autumn leaves. It was good to go when it was quiet (ie a weekday) as we have been on the weekend and the playground is generally manic.
Playground
Has a sandpit
This was my first visit since the golf ⛳ course closed and my first visit inside the house. A lovely old building just needs some tlc again. Beautiful grounds and ideal for dog owners.
The garden near the converted stable block is gorgeous and so well tended by the lady gardener there. Superb flowers throughout the summer months. They bring such peaceful pleasure.
This park is one of the most beautiful parks in Bromley, is big, safe, local, friendly, normally I go with my doggies or just for a walk on my own. I love Beckenham place park ❤️
Lovely park a d gardens, plus a small food market on Sundays. Bought some lovely cheese. The pizzas in the cafe were e ceptional, and capped a really pleasant day in Beckenham.
Wrong person yo ask, not à lover of parks, I find them boring. My partner on the othet hand, loves them and this Park too. She enjoy walking around it and being in the open.
This location is ideal for summer time picnics. Lots of trees and green spaces and woodland for great walks. The land is more or less level so easy for disabled and elderly.
Lovely grounds but absolutely heaving since being redeveloped. The areas away from mansion / cafe / lake are much quieter although less amenities - good for a quiet walk
Has kept me sane during lockdown. Does get manically overcrowded at weekends and nobody is policing the lockdown rules. Great wildlife though and some amazing old trees
Wonderful woods, park and mansion. Amazing to think that only a few years ago it was a golf course. Now a public space for the joy of everyone. Beautiful walled garden.
Discovered this beautiful park whilst waiting for our youngest son to finish his performing arts college audition today! Definitely worth a visit if you're in Bromley!
So lovely. The gardens are a delight. Good play area for children with a large sand pit. Beautiful lake where you can swim. Great cafe too. Will definitely revisit.
Great nature place for a walk with or without your dog. It feels a bit like Richmond, just without deers but with a lake instead. And without those posh Londoneers.
Wonderful park. Great place to visit in all kinds of weathers. Lush gardens and easily walkable trails. Definitely worth visiting. Great cafe with delicious pizza.
Incredible scale that allows for treks which make you feel like you're in the countryside. Perfect in good weather, with a cafe and bar to grab some refreshments.
Such a vast park with lots to do there, even wild swimming, loads of trees for shaded areas with benches, bbq and picnic areas, cafe, beautiful flower gardens
Amazingly beautiful park but it's facilities are pretty bad. Although, they will all be revamped in the near future. A gorgeous place to visit nevertheless.
Very lovely family and dog friendly park. It also features 2 cafes and bars for hot food, cakes, and coffees. Easily walk around and spend 2-4 hours here.
Fabulous restaurant, cafés and shops. Really beautiful park with lots of events over the weekend. Has a fabulous garden to sit in by the restaurant!
A lovely clean park with lots of different spaces to enjoy. Sand pit and play area, community garden, lots of field space, cafes, events etc
Awesome park. Always take my boys there. They can roll in a mud, run around and then have a lovely cheese from local cheese vendor there.
Fantastic open space with a cafe, playgrounds, lake for swimming and paddle boarding. Amazing gardens and woods. Gorgeous and peaceful.
I love this huge green space in South East London. It's enormous! Plenty of walking and exploring. Lovely coffee and pizza in the cafe.
So I was casually walking in the park last evening, when sudently out of the blue this tree fell a few meter away from me, not cool.
Nice park with swimming lake, vintage market and usually a good programme of activities including their winter fair LIT this year.
Lovely space for the area. Responsible dog walkers, very popular so if driving park near by as not easy to get in the car park.
Great place for a winters walk. My son loves the play ground. It’s great they have. Coffee hut in there as well!
The hiking trails are especially enjoyable but bring serious boots if you're visiting after raining
This is a beautiful and unique place... beautiful vistas, some much to see and walk.
