I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the customer service provided by Best Buy at their branch located at 1200 Brant St., Unit 1, Burlington, ON L7P5C6. My recent experience on Saturday, 6/17/23, has left me feeling frustrated and let down. As someone previously working for Staples, I understand the importance of excellent customer service, but Best Buy has failed to meet even the most basic expectations. During my purchase, which included a 75-inch TV and a dishwasher, I also subscribed for their membership, expecting a smooth and hassle-free process. I specifically requested the installation and mounting of the TV on the wall, and the sales representative assured me that it could be arranged. They booked an appointment for Thursday, 06/22/23, from 9:00 am to 7:00 p.m. This timing was crucial as I had a housewarming party scheduled for Saturday, 06/24/23, and wanted everything set up before the event. To my dismay, on the scheduled day, the installer team failed to show up without any prior notice. They didn't even have the courtesy to call or text me about the delay or cancellation. I was perplexed and immediately contacted Best Buy customer service to inquire about the situation. To my shock, I discovered that my appointment had been automatically cancelled at 3 am on 6/18/23, and I had not received any notification via call, text, or email. Expressing my frustration, I emphasized the importance of fulfilling the appointment before my scheduled event to the customer service agent. However, instead of providing a satisfactory resolution, the agent informed me that the next available appointment would be on Sunday, 06/25/23, which was well after my party had taken place. This blatant disregard for my time and the inconvenience caused is entirely unacceptable. When I requested to speak with a manager to address this issue, the agent informed me that it would take 24 hours for the manager to respond. Furthermore, when I asked for the store's contact number, I was astonished to hear that there was no direct line available and that I would have to personally visit the store for further assistance. This lack of accessibility and accountability is incredibly frustrating and further highlights Best Buy's poor customer service practices. UPDATE 1: after so many calls and getting stressed, they just told us they will get the TV mounted by tomorrow morning before noon. Hopefully, they show up this time! UPDATE 2: After posting my initial review, I learned that one of the managers from Geek Squad contacted us. However, instead of apologizing, the manager made an insensitive remark, stating that we were lucky to have received an appointment for tomorrow. They even went as far as to imply that we might not receive such service in the future. This response was highly unprofessional and further added to our frustration. In response to the manager's comment, we expressed our disbelief, stating, "Oh, so you mean every time we want to buy something from Best Buy and have it installed, we should expect this kind of headache?" It is disheartening to think that this level of inconvenience and disappointment could become a recurring pattern if we choose to engage with Best Buy's services in the future. UPDATE 3: The Geek Squad team came on Saturday around 10:30 am. They asked us for the height of the TV and we clearly said that the bottom of the TV should align with the art on the wall. The team installed the panel too low. This careless mistake resulted in two substantial holes in the wall beneath the TV. To make matters worse, their response was a mere apology without any tangible effort to rectify the damage caused. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Best Buy's Geek Squad or their appointment system. The lack of professionalism, dismissive attitude, and careless mistakes have left me with a deep sense of dissatisfaction. Best Buy should take these issues seriously and improve their customer service practices significantly.
*New: AVOID THIS COMPANY. Ordered another computer on November 3, 2023. Called and cancelled same day. No confirmation. Two hours later, get an email saying it shipped. Called back and they denied ever getting a call or cancellation. Said they'd try again. Again, no confirmation. They did NOTHING. Computer arrived, now I have to pay for return shipping to Dell. They refuse to help. These people are useless and incompetent and only want your money. They don't stand behind their customers. My advice to stay away from them. There is a reason they are failing. *Previous: Ordered a computer online for in-store pickup. Got a message a couple of days later that they'd only hold it until the end of business that day. Tried to look up the order in my online account, no sign of it. Tried to call the store, but you can't do that anymore. Called Best Buy, 60 minute wait. Tried to chat, but that's only for tech support according to the message. Went to the store, they hadn't put the item aside and had to look on the floor. After a long while, they found one. Just lucky they had it in stock. For a company under pressure from Amazon, they sure don't try very hard to keep customers. Not impressed.
So I bought a security system from Best Buy that cost me over $300 and wanted to get the Geek Squad to install the mounting for it. My appointment was scheduled for the 23rd of December to have it get cancelled because four people called in sick and then to be rescheduled for the 28th to then have nobody show up and no phone calls to now have it rescheduled for the end of January. They want to charge me for a survey call of $118 just to make sure where I want them hooked up and then to come back later and mount the brackets for another $200. I think Best Buy is now the worst place to buy anything electronic. They never answer their phones and it takes you half an hour to find anybody to help you in the store. Horrible company and would not recommend them to anybody. The only reason why I bought the cameras that I wanted there was because they came in a 5-pack as opposed to a 1, 2 or 3 pack. I am now looking elsewhere to get my cameras mounted outside my house.
Rude staff. Avoid Best Buy! We went to the Burlington location on a Saturday afternoon to look for a new laptop. After checking out at a few models we had questions, but, the staff? They were clustered in a little pack talking, laughing and paying zero attention to the various customers in the electronics area. I finally went over and peeled one of them away only to learn he didn't know much about Best Buy or computers.. Questions about memory, warranty and the store return policy were met with vague, one or two word answers. Realizing we were bothering him I let him get back to doing nothing and flagged down a second sleepy member of the Best Buy customer service squad. This one actually went to confirm information when he didn't know something and didn't at any time try to wonder off on us! After about 40 minutes of this we finally decided to do what most of the world is doing, buy it on Amazon for a third of the price.
Upgraded my pixel 4a to the 7 today with the help of the lovely ladies at the mobility desk (Leila, Sandra & another girl who's name I didn't get but had glasses). They were super helpful and made the process as painless and quick as possible considering I came in at 4 and the store was closing at 5pm due to NYE hours. My bf and his dad had purchased a phone from Leila the day before and had a good experience, so today I decided to upgrade and was very pleased by the professional and quick service I received. Big props for Leila for switching me over from Freedom to Telus so smoothly. As a customer who knew exactly what I wanted phone wise and plan wise, Leila made sure I received exactly what I was looking for. Great service! 10/10 if you're considering purchasing a phone or upgrading, look for Leila or any of the other sweet ladies at the mobility desk!
I’ve been significantly overcharged, lied to, fed false information, laughed at, and belittled. By multiple staff members at Best Buy Burlington on Brant. When finally getting ahold of a manager, her response was ‘I was not there so there is nothing we can do.’ They let the staff get away with it. (Everything is on camera and recorded with their consent by the way). Zero was done about this situation. I cannot believe Best Buy thinks it’s okay to treat anyone, especially long-time customers like this. I will never, ever be back. Headquarters needs to know about their awful staff and lack of caring. However, I doubt anything will even be done judging from my experiences with Best Buy. This store commits theft, robbery, and abuses their customers. I will make sure everyone I can contact will never spend a penny here and continue to spread my experience.
We are never purchasing from bestbuy again. They hire kids who don't know what they are doing and misrepresent to customers. We purchased a laptop computer for our son a year ago from bestbuy in burlington. The kid who sold the computer to my wife offered a discount on an extended warranty that he said covered damage as well. The computer screen now does not work. There is no external damage to the computer. When we took it to bestbuy the tech said there is internal damage to the screen and that the warranty code on our sales receipt was for the regular warranty and did not cover internal damage. The only assistance offered by bestbuy was to go back to talk to the sales rep who is no longer at the store. This makes no sense. I would never trust anything a sale rep from bestbuy tells you and we will never purchase from bestbuy again.
Worst experience with the staff.. wasted my 3 hours with no result. Staff is very uneducated and don’t know the deals properly. When I asked for same deal with the recent plan. The advisor said yes after confirming with someone. After I purchased the iPhone they said that the deal is not possible with ur plan. When I asked that I already confirmed with your employee, they called the manager named Joshua. Manager came and listened to me and said that cannot do anything and you can return the phone. I literally felt that they don’t care about customer anymore. They even don’t think for any compensation for wasting my 3 hours because of the misunderstanding created by their staff. Honesty, if you Don’t want to serve cx properly then don’t work in cx service. I would rate 0 to Joshua for his 0% effort for solving the problem.
Unfortunately I had to make a return during curb side operations, but was glad they've positioned a staff member working the line outside who directed me to the right place for the return of my defective office furniture item. This was the first time I've encountered this problem with Best Buy, all previous items have been satisfactory. This same staff member also was able to order an item I forgot to pre-order ahead of time and considering the atmosphere of heightened stress with dealing with the public, the item was dispatched quickly and easily when it was my time to return my original order and pay for my new item. The only negative aspect of the whole experience was the staff member forgot to thank me for my business regardless of the fact I had to make a return of a defective item.
Got a contractor for installation from their partner "quick contractors". Its an amazing one stop service for customers to get job done. For a specific job that needed to be paid to Quick contractors I had limited payment options. Either I go to Best buy store and pay for my Job request OR I share my credit card information over the phone including credit card number, date of expiry and cvv. It's disappointing to see that in 2022 Best buy and its partner uses insecure mode of payment in their partnership. At least get an IVR that lets you process payments securely. IMHO there are two types of companies that are either hacked and they know it or the one that doesn't know they are hacked and their data is silently getting stolen. Get better @Best Buy & @QuickContractors.
I bought a laptop from Best Buy a couple of months ago and one day it simply would not turn on. I brought it in with the cord unsure what the problem was. Someone was helping another customer, an older woman, who wasn't understanding what was being explained so the gentleman worked came around the counter to break it down and ensure she knew fully what was happening with her purchase. I was very impressed. They came out immediately to the counter to help me. They were polite, friendly and helpful through the entire process. I had to send my laptop out to be serviced which they did and when I came back to pick it up (ready sooner than anticipated too!) again service was amazing. Highly recommend Best Buy and the Geek Squad to everyone!!!
Terrible customer service. Bought 5 major appliances, one came damaged and they "forgot" to add installation to the invoice which meant the washer and dryer did not get installed upon delivery. They continuously use terms like convenient as in we will come back when it is convenient for Best Buy (middle of the day during the week) and not when it is convenient for the customer (evening during the week). Best part was being told they will only attempt to send someone twice because it costs them money to reschedule. What would have been convenient was if they just did what they were supposed to do in the first place. It cannot be that difficult to get a delivery and installation right the first time...
I went here to look at the new Samsung S21 Ultra, as it is a $2000 dollar phone, I wanted to spend some time looking through the features on the phone to see if it was worth the money. Then 3 employees came over to tell me that I shouldn’t be “camping out” with the phone as other customers might want to look at it (which is ironic considering they place a stool in that area so you can do exactly that). The only issue is that there was not a soul around the mobile phone area. They insisted I leave the area and didn’t even bother asking if I had questions about the product or even try to sell it to me for that matter. These associates need customer service training, I’ll buy the phone somewhere else.
Staff here is so outdated that they don’t recognize email receipt of an item you purchased 5 min ago. Apparently, I cashed out one item and I purchased another item on my way, I told this gentleman at the cash register I have email Copy of the receipt, he didn’t trusted me, passed a judgment because I am not white and maybe I am just picking up things from the counter and just leaving. I decided to return the item I purchased 5 min ago and I asked for a refund. It took more than 5 ppl work to do a single refund. Lesson they should learn “how technology works around them and adapt to some customer related ethics. We are living in 2023” I literally enjoyed the show
I recently took my pc in to be serviced at this Best Buy, it was decently late on a Sunday and I got Mike in Geek Squad who took the time to try to resolve the issues right there and then knowing I used this computer to work from home and hoping it was a quick resolution for me. Unfortunately it did need to be completely wiped out, but he made sure it was ready for me first thing Monday morning. Mike was super attentive to us, knowledgeable and honest, and I appreciate everything he did in such a timely manner. He deserves some praise! I have never had a negative experience at this store, but Mike's help made me want to write this review! :)
Best buy sent me broken, dirty used headphones that got shipped to me in a used taped up box. Took them back to this location, for one simple exchange, and it took them 45 minutes to figure out how to exchange something. They didn't have the same colour or style in stock. The colour I ordered is also discontinued so cannot get what i want. Proceeded to make me feel like it was my fault they were sent to me used, and wasn't sure why I wouldn't settle for an exchange on a much cheaper pair . Nick at the front desk has no idea what he is doing. And the fact that he was the head associate able to help, worries me for the entire company.
I came to the store today - the store had apparently closed just few minutes before I got to the doors it was at that time Mike S came out and apologized about the store closing he immediately noticed I was quite stressed as I needed a charging cable for my laptop for a very time sensitive matter. He was super helpful took me inside the store and with the help of some other reps he was able to find the appropriate charging cable . can’t thank Mike enough for his help and his promptness . I have been to this store at other times too and I have always found everybody working here to be super helpful and welcoming - 5 stars from me !!!
Came to buy a new TV, I had my children with me the sales associates are very lacking in their product knowledge. Not to mention when I told the associate which TV I wanted I was informed it was in the back and they were going to get it, 10 minutes later they are helping another person lucky I found the TV on the floor in another location and took care of it my self. This is one of the reasons why I miss FutureShop even though they were owned by Best Buy at least their staff was better trained and seemed to care more about helping the customer. If you want a better service from a Best Buy go to Ancaster
Customer service is the worst. They are totally unknowledgeable about their own products. I attempted to do a return for store credit in some ear buds, which they would accept, but did not know where the serial number is located. They accused me of trying to rip them off, and refused service. After contacting the manufacturer and finding where the serial number is located (on the case, not ear buds) they still refused. They could not admit to have made a mistake, even when I PROVIDED PROOF FROM THE MANUFACTURER. Worst experience ever. Save yourself time and money and frustration and order from Amazon.
I never recommend this best buy, here in burlington they don’t have trained staff. And interesting is that when any of the staff is making any mistake buy giving false information, then they are saying that staff is new. Sorry, this deals are not there and all. So after waiting in a queue for a long period of time, they are changing their words. Also, not mentioning all terms & conditions in advance. After creating a bill they are saying these are the conditions. Their store leader Brian Carrera also didn’t think to inform all conditions in advance. He changed his voice.
I ordered a gift online for black friday. I got an open used box instead. Took it back to the store to reorder and was assured this was not bestbuys usual service to have sent a box and item disheveled. He assured me the item will be brand new. Delivery guy went to wrong apartment building never called to be buzzed in either and left the box in lobby and was stolen . Must wait 24hrs to report incident for escalation. Your service is beyond questionable and I am appauled with proof of delivery I have to wait 24hrs to report this. Customer service is absolutely atrocious.
Sold me a pc with 4gb of ram when it clearly says on the side of the pc it comes with 12gb of ram. And they wont refund me or give me more ram.........LOL. i cant play any games on my computer because of this. they basically said you are screwd. One of the staff said he was gona get a screwdriver to open the pc up to see where they forgot to put in the missing ram . Instead he went and got the manager wich was absolutely no help. They didn't even look at my receipt. Im not made of money wich is why i wanted the ram that they were supposed to give me and that i paid for.
Once you get a staff member they are great and helpful. BUT I am now in a waiting game as the installer they contract hook ups to flooded my basement after hooking up my new dryer!!! The store level did everything they could to help me.once you get to resolutions the women there kind and attentive but it takes DAYS to get to the Adjuster who sends no one out to assess damages. They encourage use of your own insurance and then they pass you off to the installers insurance...I think!!! In the mean time they do nothing to correct or initiate clean up!!!NOT IMPRESSED!!
I'm standing in the store right now at the Burlington Best Buy. 17 sales people have passed me looked my way but are standing in small groups amongst themselves. No one has approached me or anyone in my family asking if we need assistance. Yet they looked our way but went back to their chatting & laughing. Absolutely zero customer service in the store!! I am looking to purchase a iPad pro for my daughter, but it will not be at the store. Save yourself the headache avoid this store as it does not care about customer service and it's obvious once you walk in.
The online ordering and pick up was fast and easy. They were getting full marks until it came time to pay. They don’t take cash and the tap limit is $200. This means you have to touch the terminal that every other patron has been forced to touch. Then they ask if I want an email receipt to which I replied yes... big mistake... it meant I had to touch the terminal again to confirm the email address that I had used to order the pick up in the first place. I nearly lost my mind. Staff were all very pleasant and professional and the product worked out great!
I stopped by on a Saturday wanting to inquire and purchase a new Apple device. The store didn't look busy as they have been opened for about an hour or so. The reception I got was lacklustre and felt the team members working there were basically going through the service motions. I was ready to buy with a little sales nudge but there wasn't a genuine inquiry into what I was there for by Best Buy team. The team I interacted with seem nice but I think a refresher training in customer service and sales is needed to elevate the skills of the frontline team.

I purchased an ebike online. I chose to have it delivered. It was lost in transit by purolator. When I asked best buy to give me a refund they said that they couldn't help until purolator returned the item. Purolator said i had to get best buy to get it picked up and best buy said that purolator had to arrange it. I had to do all the leg work myself. Its been about one month now and I still don't have an ebike or a refund. Very unprofessional on both companies. If you can't handle the business don't take on so much business.
Wanted to pick up a nest protect. They had the box on shelf and it showed they had 4 in inventory. Associate couldn’t find it and essentially gave up. It’s clearly in the store somewhere, as these products must be locked up due to high shrink. They are so disorganized they don’t even know where their own inventory is. It was a waste of 20 minutes and was told me I had to order it online or go elsewhere. Advice is to keep your inventory and stock clean and easy to find, that will save yourself and the customer time.
Today after years I walked into a best buy store which happened to be this one. I needed a phone cord. The first best buy representative did not listen to my question and misguided me. The second rep fully ignored me twice and the other ones were too busy to look after anyone else... Most were just walking the length of the store. I got to a point where i decided to leave. The 19 yr old half drunk best buy employee at exit doors did say "have a great day" to me on my way out. He was kind of nice.
Was made to wait 20 min with no explanation while apparently a couple decided if they should buy the last of a product or one of several others. They ended up deciding on the last of the product I would have purchased however, I only found out after the wait that this was the case. Be more upfront with your customers and don't waste peoples time if you don't need to. I would have left if I knew and been much happier. Review note: if applicable, check home depot, they price match and beat by 10%
The staff is friendly and very helpful. They did mess up my order. I ordered 4 appliances and only one was delivered on the delivery date with no update on the remaining three. The staff went out of their way to arrange an express delivery for my order. The fridge was delivered after a week but I was generously compensated for all the hassle. Manvir, the sales representative is great. He is knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Overall I am very satisfied with their prices and customer service.
I worked here for a short duration a bit ago so I feel that I can review it effectively. Staff was amazing, didn't meet one employee that wasn't incredibly nice and outgoing. They make sure to greet every customer possible at the door and direct them to where they need to be. Even if the item you want isn't in stock, the staff walks you through ordering it online together at the store! I may have a positive bias towards the staff however, they are truly the kindest people you will ever meet
A extremely terrible experience at THIS best buy. I was about to going to Costco so I take a small cart(i have no car). And I decided to go this Best Buy while i was waiting my friend. One of their stuff made me so uncomfortable and feel disrespected. Every row I was browsing, she was standing at the end of that row spying on me. If you do not allow cart in. You can tell me and find a place to put my cart rather than treat me as a thief because of my asian face. it’s racial discrimination.
I ordered online through the app and it was done as little as 1 hour like they advertised. Waiting was quick and easy, told the person to put it in my trunk and that’s it. I got myself a Sony speaker which was good enough for my small size room. App is friendly user. They send notifications with any progress on an order. These five stars is based on the app, the process and how quick it was to be brought out to me. However, I’m not sure how is the culture inside of the store, may differ.
Get ready to make the worst buy when you realize you bought something on their "marketplace" via their online website. This marketplace is not branded or advertised anywhere on their site. I got fooled into buying a product that may have been secondhand, though a dealer on this marketplace which looks like any other product on their website. Support told me to take a hike when I tried to return a $800 cell phone that was faulty after 6 months. Will not be supporting this company anymore.
Horrible customer service. I purchased a laptop and cell phone from other location 2 days ago where they offered to transfer everything from my old phone onto the new phone at no charge. I didn't have the time and came to the Burlington location to have the exact same thing done which I was told I could do at any Best Buy and now it's $40. I just finished spending $1500 and now your trying to squeeze every last dime out of me. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING OR RECOMMEND BEST BUY TO ANYONE!!!
Literally cannot get through to a human being when you call, you have to listen to a robot for 20 minutes giving you information you don't care about, until finally you get transfered to a call center in India. The rep there said you literally cannot get through to anybody at the store anymore, only their call center. My time is valuable and I won't be giving my business to best buy anymore until they change it back to individual store numbers. Very disappointed with this change.
don’t come here for mobile plan. The phone plan is the most expensive one I have ever heard. One lady named M provided me iPhone 14 plan 42.8/month, and no any promotion. The same iPhone 14 plan in Walmart is $17 and in mobile shop is $12. And that lady refused to help me check any promotion code and said it is the only they have. It is not worth at least 1 hour waiting and work productivity is lowest. Just wasting my time. Please go Walmart and mobile shop for better deals
Beautiful store but some of the worst employees I have ever dealt with. I have plenty of patience but they can't help with pre-orders, they don't know how to use the computers and they can't even answer basic questions. Because of their incompetence I could not obtain the gift card that came with a pre-order. This is on top of the fact that Best Buy now bans "white" applicants from even applying. Straight up racism from this company and I won't support it.
Great place! Locations everywhere, the workers are very friendly and will help you if you cant find something. Plus seems that even if you get somebody from another department they are still knowledgeable of the entire store products. And the best part of this store is that if you need some electronic gadget right away, beats or matches Amazon's price and you don't have to wait for delivery. It's really the Best Buy. I highly reccomend this store.
Awesome experience every time! Good deals on electronics and accessories, I like that if you can’t find exactly what you are looking for, the helpful and knowledgeable staff will ether find something even better, or help you order it online! I was helped by a very nice and helpful man named Dustin today, but honestly, haven’t met a bad staff member yet! (They also provide cool services if you are nervous about going in because of the virus)
After speaking with bose customer service and best buy costumer service it was nice to have some in-store help! Went in first thing this morning, headed over to customer service when a nice man by the name of Andrew said "I can help you over here!". I was in to replace a pair of headphones that stopped charging and Andrew was very helpful. He really knew his stuff and his customer service was on point! Thank you for everything Andrew!
Worst and worst store associate i have ever faced. Her name is Marcia. The way she behaved as a store associate as if she’s the customer and feels like I am just wasting her time. From the very first she was reluctant to provide service. Her attitude is simply D graded if not racist. The branch should seriously train her how to provide customer service and not being rude. Disgusted to see that store like best buy has such employee !
I needed to upgrade my cell phone. The phone I selected was sold out with Freedom, and elsewhere I checked in 100km area. BestBuy phone staff helped to get one in. The upgrade process with the provider however was anything but smooth. Great thanks and appreciation to Marcia in the mobility unit for her work to resolve the issue. Marcia was very curteous, helpfull and a great pleasure to work with. Great service. Much appreciated.
Chris N is an employee at the Brant location Best Buy. Chris was quick to help me out when I was waiting in line and got me the item I came in to the store for in a matter of minutes. I am extremely happy with my experience today at Best Buy and will make sure to go back to this location and Chris for anything I may need from this store in the future! Overall, amazing customer service, highly recommend for any cell phone needs.
Useless service from managers and staff. Even the call centre is useless. Why anyone would shop at this store for electronics is beyond me. Much easier, cheaper and better service from the big box store known for selling toilet paper. Since they are beside each other, I decided to give BestBuy chance and they failed miserably. I said "would you rather me go next door" for my purchase?.... obviously that's were i ended up going
I went in on Boxing day. Staff were crazy busy helping all the hopeful shoppers. My experience with the Best Buy is that they are all really helpful staff members. You need something and they do their best to accommodate. If they don't have a product they will order it in for you. Very knowledgeable and what I love about Best Buy, they don't work on commission, they don't sell the product for the fact of selling something.
I bought a Tablet and a keyboard to go with it for my wife from this location, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the tablet the next day but without the keyboard, the market place supplier shipped it two days later apparently with "snail mail". Finally 14 days after the purchase and 2 delivery promises the keyboard has arrived. The moral of the story, buy Best Buy products but stay away from their market place.
Disappointing price experience. Full rack of cables showing half the actual cost. Went back with an associate and found 3 shelves with wrong pricing (showing a price cheaper then the unit cost). Very disappointed to find that sticker shock at the register. Tyler (in training) was actually very professional and deserves recognition for how he handled the situation, well done by him in helping rectify the situation.
So everybody be careful - they signed me up for the "GeekSquad" protection nonsense without my consent - costs 15$ a month. Noticed that it's happened for a few months (don't use my credit card overly much so don't check it often). Googled it and people have been signed up without their knowledge for YEARS. Getting this fixed by cancelling my card, never going to another best buy again. Absolutely disgusting.
Awful experience, warning, shoppers don’t shop at Burlington location, everyone is manager( unqualified ) i had issues with my purchase 4- deferent CSR told me they are one of the managers, they won’t give you the store manager’s information and they don’t stand behind their offers (price matching) they are not professional and very rude, I won’t shop there again and I won’t recommend anyone to shop there.
I wanted to give a 5 star rating for Lana at this location. She helped me pick out the best laptop for my sons needs, and she went way above expectations to make sure my experience was smooth and worry free. She by far is very knowledgeable and detail oriented and Best Buy should have more staff like her. She would make an excellent Manager and because of her I will be back. Thanks Lana for all your help
I was there on Tuesday and Jonathan was amazing . I was afraid to go in there at Best Buy and ask questions regarding the product I was looking for, and thanks to Jonathan's excellent customer skills;, professionalism and knowledge. I ended buying what I needed so happy. People like Jonathan we need everywhere. I would recommend best Buy next time you need something but make sure ask for Jonathan.
Excellent selection. Christmas holidays thus the long wait was anticipated. However, 6 hours was ridiculous, not enough staff even for non-holiday customer flow. Poor management organisation or corporate financial pettiness. The brightest light, exceptional customer service experience from the lowest paid personnel in the company. We gratefully appreciated the professional and friendly service.
I had purchased open box item and when I went for a pick up, no box and only wrapped with plastic wrapper. Manager on duty initially promised 20~ 40 dollars discount for the fact that I had wasted my time. After few minutes, they took the words back. Absolutely 100% upsetting customer experience. Do not make a promise that cannot be kept. Also train employees all again. Horrible experience
Can't even call and find out if they have something specific in stock. The store doesn't receive phone calls anymore apparently and the call center couldn't tell me if they had a certain phone in stock, forcing me to drive all the way there just for the store to tell me they DONT have it and their closest branch that does is 100km away. Best buy used to be amazing. Not so much anymore
Horrible customer service. I truly felt that the employees were going out of their way to ignore me. Finally after asking one associate for some help in the camera dept., he mumbled something into his microphone. I waited another five minutes before I left without getting any help. Too bad for Best Buy Burlington because I brought my business elsewhere and made a significant purchase.
This Best Buy is a great place to shop when it's not busy. Then you can get undivided attention from a sales person with specific expertise. I was really lucky to monopolize Andrew for a good chunk of time. He helped me sort out whether a laptop or chromebook would be best for me, and what options were available in my price range. Very happy with my purchase and with Andrew.
Bait and Switch….advertised special on air pods ($169.00 air pod series 2) is for a previous charging platform (so they say) and they haven’t had them in inventory for over a month. Despite this, the sale is still on for a product they never had. They will sell you the “new platform” “on sale” for almost $300.00. No apology, just an acknowledgment that this very confusing.
Went there to buy a monitor today. The staff was helpful getting me the best one but when I tried to cash out, two cashiers who didn't have any customers checking out were too busy doing something on their computers to bother helping customers cash out. After 5 minutes standing there looking stupid, I left the $450 monitor there and walked out. Got a better deal on Amazon.
I received the most excellent service. I saw a few sales associates standing in the cell phone area and i asked for directions. One young man googled the item, we discovered the differences of the items and the sale prices. He even got the one I wanted and i was able to pay there. I was really impressed with the service and that i didn't have to stand in a big lineup.
Went here to buy a laptop, a monitor and a bunch of accessories. Not the best customer service. Most of the staff was just standing around chatting and didn’t offer to help. When we found someone to help us he only acknowledged my boyfriend, despite the fact that I told him that I was the one purchasing these items for work. Not a good experience overall.
If you like paying ALOT extra for everything then this is the place for you. Same products as everyone else but the mark up at this store will leave your wallet torn and empty. Great staff. Clean store. Nasty prices. It's not the staffs fault so I gave this business two stars. I wouldn't ever dare to spend money here though. Shop around, lesson learned.
Store is not staying on there statement, Even the store manager Bryan doesn't know what he is saying. The person who Ashley doesn't know what she is doing and then manager Bryan told that she is seasonal and doesn't know what ashely is doing. On a busy boxing day we spent around 45 mind in line and then said the staff is not trained to help us
Visited on Dec 30th to make some returns and exchanges. Customer service was excellent despite them being super busy with a long line at the customer service counter. The young woman helping us (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) helped us with a smile and a great attitude. Definitely made shopping right after the holidays an easier experience.
I went in to Bestbuy last week looking for connectors for connecting a vcr to a modern TV. Trevor was awesome! Even though Bestbuy doesn't even carry the specific cables I needed, he made it work for me with another alternate method that converts the analogue RCA outputs to HDMI. Awesome! Thanks Trevor! I hope they promote you to a manager.
I had a great recent experience with a staff member here who was patient and helpful. Faria was very knowledgeable and gave me enough time and information to make an informed decision. She also processed all the financing paperwork and (together with Shaq) made a personal effort that I get my laptop just before closing time on a Sunday.
Went on this store in December 2021 to buy a Samsung 55 TV, the guy on Samsung TV section were busy on his smart phone, chatting/texting with someone, he did not offer any help or bother to look on us. We help our self and choose the TV. May be have less employees on the store and reduce the price. They are less helpful anyway.
Their employees need better training for customer service; currently, it's not great—lazy and rude. I saw customers leaving in frustration, and it happened to me too. The staff acts like our presence is a bother. Try Best Buy in Oakville or Milton instead; that's my recommendation. Unfortunately, zero stars from me.
Been waiting over 10 mins for service. I am in here to buy a speaker and I have found the speaker I want. I approached 2 employees who pulled their phones out and walked away before I could wave to them. In fact I had the time to write this review before anyone e noticed I needed help. Good sale price on 4TB HDD. Had it in stock. Permitted online purchase and store pickup (i.e. guarantee in stock before you drive to the store). Good pickup process though placing "order pickup" at the very back of the store is less than optimal for those of us who have mobility issues (walk with a cane).
Went in with a $25 gift card. Spent about an hour trying to find something of interest and $20. When I did guess what they don't have any in stock and don't sell their demos. Ask an associate and all they do is check best buy web site in front of you. Best buy will go the way of future shop soon enough.
A Best Buy like every other one. Updated to reflect the new, more stylish shopping experience (especially in the computer department). Nice sales people. We received good info and advice on which computer to buy, with no pressure. And we were able to pay directly with the associate (no need to line up).
I walked in to purchase a Samsung phone (unlocked, no plan) and a certain sales associate kept trying to push me onto a new phone plan. After telling her 4 times I don't want a new plan, I gave up and went to another associate in the store who actually listened and sold me the unlocked phone.
This store is a mess! So many products blocking aisle ways! Customer service at this location is garbage too! If a customer asks specifically for a product, they don't want to be upsaled or made to feel they're making a wrong choice! Go to Ancaster or Stoney Creek much better stores!
Purchased a fridge 3 times with their garbage online system..it gave me a delivery date each time, and one day before the delivery date, their system cancels the order and says it's a security issue. 3 weeks in and 3 purchase orders later, I'm still waiting for a fridge. Pathetic !
Went to look at TV’s. The staff was friendly and not pushy at all. The store is bright and nicely renovated with lots of stock on display. So much variety that you have lots of choices to pick from. I have never had any issues returning products and the line ups always go fast.
The employees at this location are very friendly, and eager to help. I was looking for something specific and was having trouble finding it and deciding which brand to go with, and one of the employees went above and beyond to help me and made my shopping experience amazing!
I had a fabulous experience with Best Buy in Burlington and the staff at Geek Squad. I bought my son a gaming PC for Christmas and we were having some difficulty setting it up. The staff was so helpful and quickly resolved the issues we were having. Thank you Best Buy!
Wonderful experience! Extremely welcoming and helpful staff which also helped me get a great deal when buying 2 iPhone 13. Overall, I have only great things to say as they gave us a far better treatment and deals compared to the Apple Store nearby. I highly recommend!
I can recommend Brian from the mobile phone section for his excellent customer service. He helped me to choose the best mobile package with a free phone for my spouse while giving us gift card also. Addition to that he stayed after working hours to finalize our deal.

Best Buy? Mediocre Buy. I was looking for a cable that would allow me to charge my iPhone SE and use wire headphones at the same time. The converter cost FIFTY dollars. I found an Apple branded product that did the same thing for eleven dollars.

Service was not very good. I paid for a protection plan and I have driven 4 times to Best buy to get a screen protector. They are still out of it and I was told to order it online. If I purchased a plan why do I need to order this online.

I really like the new design. Staff are helpful and don't push too hard for the protection plans. I've researched my purchases and just place a hold to pick them up at the store, I haven't had any issues, and no complaints!
