Best Buy doesn't even deserve the one star, they should get negative five stars! I go in to get a cellphone and a tablet. The clerk who sold me the tablet (David at the Dufferin and Wilson store) asked if I wanted protection on my tablet, I said yes, because I am buying a cellphone too! So he gave me options for a annual and a monthly plan, I agreed to the monthly plan. David put on the screensaver on the tablet, but put it on incorrectly and with dust underneath the screensaver! While I was getting my cellphone from another clerk named Johnny, he wasn't very kind, he sold me on a Google pixel 7, he said he had one and it was a great phone and was on sale. I agreed with the Google pixel 7, but then he left in the middle of the sale and neglected to mention that I need a ADAPTER for the cord to charge my phone!!! I am truly angry, because the so-called monthly plan I had gotten from David, was totally bogus, because the "geek squad for some reason tried to take $599.00 plus from my account, I'm on disability and I cannot afford that much money, they have tried to take the money four times already and won't stop, I called to cancel and the won't cancel it for me!! They said I have to come and take care of it, but I WANT NOTHING TO EVER DO WITH BEST BUY AGAIN!!! Thanks for the continuous HEADACHE Best Buy!!! I'm so ANGRY!!!

Really disappointed in this store. We came here and were looking to trade in some items and buy a laptop. We went to customer service and they told us they’re gonna send someone to us but it took them 30 minutes even though the store wasn’t busy by any means. When trying to purchase the MacBook, I was speaking to the store manager, Ryan, about how a different location price matched us for Apple products and offered a gift card . I explained that we weren’t able to take the offer at the time since we didn’t have our items to trade in. And the other store is further away from us than this one so we came here. The whole time he’s saying no we don’t do that and treating the situation as if we’re lying. I tried explaining to him that we had already been two best buys already that didn’t have the trade in system and we had already driven for an hour and a half and going to the other location would be another 40 minutes but he kept insisting that we go to the other location and they won’t do anything or even contact the other store to confirm what we had said. It was very frustrating because we had already gone through a difficult experience with the different stores and also had relied on an offer we were told but there was absolutely no compassion and the entire time he was treating the situation as if we’re lying.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Best Buy on Dufferin Street. As a customer, I felt not only ill-treated but also scammed. Despite paying for my purchase, I never received the delivery. What made the situation worse was the staff's behavior – it was not only unprofessional but also had elements of discrimination, which is completely unacceptable. The sales team leader, instead of addressing my concerns, chose to ignore me and walked away mid-conversation. This blatant disregard for customer service and the lack of accountability are deeply concerning. It seems their focus is solely on meeting sales targets rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. I am still waiting for a response regarding my purchase and feel utterly ignored and humiliated by the entire ordeal. This was truly the worst shopping experience I've ever had, and I urge potential customers to reconsider before visiting this store. I have my reciepts and proof and due to their fake commitments I failed to achieve my dream project and I was penalized from my work. This is a severe issue that everyone should take care of and dear authorities please contact me soon.

Drove a long way to try to trade in a device. If you go to any Vaughan store with a trade in they start telling you that they don't take trade ins cuz of don't bylaw. Why don't you just go get bent Woodbridge or whatever its calling it these days. The greeter at this sham of a store was very rude, said you're welcome, upon my departure, after they did nothing, what a sham, I won't support your company going forward, you have wasted so much of my time. You think you can sell TV's cheaper than the mom and pops shop, so what, you better send me a gift card so I can burn it, your brand will soon be dead aswell. This location is very slow, mobile department is counting it's stars good lord why did I even go here. You can't just show up to work and be there, you have to actually acknowledge people and do something. I will never invest in property in this area before or after my experience. This is Canada gd, you better count your chips and bet, you know the colour, be gone.

I ordered two Switch games online last week and the delivery had been delayed 3 times. I ordered a Switch on the same day last week from another place and I got that by last weekend. Then I found that the price of the games I ordered is much more cheaper on Nintendo eShop, so I went to this store to return. The wait time is extremely long. After I returned the products, I was thinking to buy a set of Joy-con, however this is the worst thing I’ve done yesterday. I was standing in front of the shelves for 30 minutes without getting any help. I asked a staff for help, but he told me he was too busy and the walked away, and never back. I then asked another staff, he said I have to wait in the order pickup line, even I was not suppose to pick up an order. The shelves just beside the order pickup, I was standing there 30 minutes, until the store is closed. No one help! It was the worst shopping experience I ever had. It’s unlikely for me to shop here anymore.

Went there to return something. I knew it will be busy. I was prepared to wait. What I wasn’t prepared for was watching 5 cashiers at checkout standing around waiting for customers and 1 employee working the return desk with at least 20 people behind me in line I approached an employee and asked why there are 5 cashiers at checkout with hardly anyone buying anything and 1 at returns with a big line up People started to get restless and all saying what I’m saying His response. Yes the returns are busy this time of year. Ok you just made my point. The returns are busy so why aren’t they more people there. At least have 2 people Nope. Said sorry. Can’t move anyone. So after one hour in line with 4 people in front of me I finally reached the counter. Don’t know who manages this place but they need some training on how to allocate staff based on the need of the store.

I've been shopping here for quite some time and the store has generally been good. More recently, however, I had a great experience with one of their associates, Tushar, which is why I'm posting this review. I went in with the intention to overhaul / refurbish my 5 year old Alienware laptop. He accurately diagnosed the issue that caused my laptop to slowdown and provided an alternative / cost effective solution. On numerous other instances, he has helped me figure out my electronics / gadgets needs with a surprisingly thorough knowledge / understanding of these products. This guy makes my BestBuy membership be worth so much more! Edit - they collect / recycle batteries, but have no sense / training whatsoever on how to deal with puffy batteries (which is btw one of the basic issues with recycling batteries). Geek Squad is still 5/5; others, eh...

I gave a 4-star rating 6 years ago, but am docking my rating down to 1 star because this corporation no longer believes in retaining customers at this location. The closing hours are often inconvenient, and I can't understand why the management is so reluctant to hire staff willing to work later hours. Are you telling me I have to make compromises in my daily routine to visit you guys? No way! I can just go to Walmart if you guys are closed, or Amazon because their online experience is miles beyond Best Buy (and frankly, the one area Best Buy can't compete in, their strength is retail experiences but they can't even keep their stores open long enough for customers to actually shop after the workday) Shut down the location and just visit another Best Buy. With the operating hours for this location, it is simply pointless to shop here.

Waste of time! Spent 2hrs walking around the store yesterday and speaking to several "blue shirts" providing inconsistent information. Came to buy a new laptop and phone. Kept getting pushed around to different departments and seemed like no1 gave any substantial info to help me understand the tech better to make the best decision for my needs. No one was really knowledgeable about the products and did not offer a range of options, just showed me a few and went straight into talking about going to customer service to get an account if financing. Went to customer service and felt rushed (after waiting over 30mins in line). Only 1 rep whose English was difficult to understand and no other customer service reps available. No solutions offered. Ended up leaving the store empty handed. Back to Amazon it is.

Hi there, I recently bought a basinet from BestBuy's website and it's been 10 days since I made the purchase. The delivery date was supposed to be 2-3 days, but the package has not been sent yet. I've called them multiple times to track the item, and they told me that one of the sellers (third party) was responsible for selling the product on the website, but they haven't sent the package yet. Even worse, they don't seem to care about their clients and have refused to refund my money. They've told me to contact the seller and wait for a response for up to 3 days. It's a frustrating process that feels like a fraud. I strongly advise you not to trust BestBuy online and avoid buying anything from them. Their customer support is terrible.

Many staff at this store are completely useless and lack all customer service skills. I was returning 2 AC units which I got from Woodbridge, staff there were helpful in helping get a trolley to bring units into my car- I was returning these 2 units and asked a staff member if there were any trolleys, or other method to make it easier to bring in the units, about 5 minutes after they opened, she responds that they must all be in use, walks away- providing no solution, I dragged in both units, probably damaging them. The reason why best buy pays you is to help customers, the woman who "dealt" with me has no business being in any customer service job. Avoid this best buy location if you have any questions.

Worse Customer service ever experienced. Either a lot of workers around not caring about anything to help customers or little to no workers talking to each other 24/7. All I wanted was to purchase Sony Headphones I know what exactly what I wanted but I’ve stood around for more than 30 minutes just to get no attention and when I got it no one can find the key to open the storage so I can checkout. I’ve been here before and have had great help from selected workers but clearly they’re gone. Clearly to need fire the whole floor and refresh the team with new people willing to help customers or have a passion too. These guys are in it for the money

The most unorganized, disorderly locations. Employees do not directly costumers in proper manner. Waiting at apple area with no help from any employee With numerous employees walking by. I had to ask 4 employees before I was able to get the help I needed. Wouldn’t recommend this location with management being very poor. Unable to staff employee to proper area to be able to alleviate commotion and chaos at the store. Would not recommend this location. They should have management from the Dundas or laird location come down and assist. As they are able to get you in and out at a timely manners. With knowledgable employees.

Best Buy's opening hours are 11am-7pm. What's with the banker's hours? You're a retail store! How do you possibly hope to stay in business with those hours? I got there at 10am in the morning and was very surprised to see they were closed. I promptly took my business to the nearby Costco where they have lots of electronics at great prices and are open at 9am-8:30pm. Listen Best Buy, I sympathize. You need to cut on expenses. But the way to cut on expensive is to keep lean staff on off hours, and full staff on busy hours, but not to shut down the store during normal business hours.

If you want the worst service in canada, go to this store!!! I asked four different people to help me just get a box of headphones out of their locked drawer, four people told me to wait a bit.. I stood there for half an hour, and no one came up!! I don't know how this whole story will end, but the worst service - I don't know!! they stand talking to each other, they spend time with each other, but they don't waste time with the client!! this is chaos!! And I see, I'm here alone!!

The staff here are friendly and the location is pretty good. I just ran in very quickly to recycle my previous toner, so it's nice that you can do that here.It's a pretty big store so it's easy to get lost but they have pretty much everything you need. Overall I'm pretty happy with the service. I just wish the staff, at least some of them, had a little bit more product knowledge. The lady that checked me out was okay but kind of gave me a hard time about price matching.

Worst customer service. The boy employee named David, who worked the computer/laptop department made me wait for 30mins. That’s fine if he serves me after. However, he then just tells me after to go to the front to purchase. Why don’t you let me know in begin with. Waste my time. Then i ask for help from another employees but they didn’t do anything. We came here during our lunch break because it was the only time we can make it to buy a phone here (just the phone, no plan). We waited for 20 minutes and no one was around. We then flag an employee (probably a floor manager) and he told us that we should've come to Best Buy AFTER lunch and told us to wait. Was being helped and associate was getting my product from the back, informed me it would take 5-10 minutes, after 20 mins i waved down someone else who responded with “what do you want” not professional at all, and then told me i need to wait because the back is very busy, didn’t check for me at all. Don't bother checking how many items are left in stock online before coming to this location because it doesn't mean anything. Showed they have 4 units of what I was looking for left in stock and when I couldn't find the item, the staff did not care at all to look for it. They'll just brush you off and say they don't have it. Worst customer service ever.

It was my first time in this location. We entered the store today at 18:35 hours. My girlfriend was exchanging an iPhone. The staff member, Mr. Long helped us with the exchange under 5 minutes.
