What a great and delicious pie. I got the Big Dad's Special with mince, cheese, bacon, onion and a whole egg. The pastry was fantastic with a firm yet not dry texture;, buttery and cooked to perfection. Next time I will get the pie without the egg. It wasn't bad, however seemed to absorb more of the gravy mixture that I crave in a pie. In any case, Big Dad's is great and well worth the stop if you're on the lookout for a great, generous and well priced pie ($6.40ish).

Always fantastic pies along with great service. The quality of the pastry and meat has been consistently perfect over the years I've been coming here. Couldn't ask for nicer, more caring staff devoted to upholding this classic institution. 11/10 every time

Consistently the best pies in Brisbane, they’re big, always have the perfect gravy - steak - cheese ratio with immaculate pastry as well. (highly recommended steak bacon and cheese) also the service is always excellent, very friendly!

Always pick up pies from here...have done for years. Rare to find mushy peas n gravy n potato offered. Lovely service. Busy road. Park around the corner.

Just recently I discovered this place of amazing pies and very delicious. Also they have more varieties of food to choose at. Very comforting place and the customer service are great. Kudos to the staff and the management of this amazing place!

10/10 for the steak and mushroom pie I ordered just really wish the mashed peas topping was sweet instead of salty, would’ve instantly had a flashback of my childhood when my nan used to make it. Regardless would still definitely go back …
