Cake was severely undercooked and insides were sloppy. After calling to cancel my order, the lady I spoke to was super receptive and understanding of my situation (being that my son was in hospital and we had to cancel his birthday party). She advised that she had cancelled the order, but in order to process the refund, I should send an email. I emailed immediately after the call, but then received an email nearly 36 hours later advising the cake was still made and that we would obviously not be able to cancel the order because of it. I called again after receiving the email and the person advised that they could put the cake out front to re-sell, but we would still not get a refund implying they would simply just get twice the profit to re-sell a cake that’s already been sold. Horrible customer service. Will not be returning. Edit: Furthermore, the response to this review is the 3rd different response I received from this company. The person I called first said it hadn’t been made yet. The person I spoke to Sunday said my cake was made 2 days prior, and now the reply to this suggests my cake was made the afternoon after I called and that my call earlier that morning was irrelevant. Get on the same page with all your employees please. It’s embarrassing to have so many different answers.

Veganyumm recently made THE MOST AMAZING engagement party cake for my partner and I. My partner is a coelic and we had a number of vegan guests so having these catered for was very important to us. We had SOOOOO many compliments on how delicious the cake was - many guests were also surprised that it was GF and vegan! The cake design was absolutely perfect as well. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you! ~~~ This is my second review for Veganyumm - this time for my wedding, the previous being my engagement party. I also buy from the bakehouse whenever I am in the area. As always, they did not disappoint! My wedding cake was loved by my wedding guests and many went back for seconds. The team worked closely with me to make all the decisions required and to accommodate our gluten free requirements (my husband is coeliac), such that one tier was GF and the other was not. They were also very understanding that we wanted to use florals from our own florist (to keep in line with all our other florals) and discounted our cake accordingly. Most of all it was absolutely delicious and we were so glad we had some leftovers just for ourselves in the days following the wedding! Thank you for being part of our special day. Jamie & Sarah.

What can I say about VeganYum! 5 stars, I would put 100 stars if I could. Everything about this place is amazing! The food is amazing I had the vegan chicken basil pesto toastie and the macadamia mocha frappe and the also purchased 6 cupcakes! One of each flavour of course. Each cupcake was delicious. And they kept fresh in the fridge for 3 days I didn't share them haha! They have loads of Gluten Free options too. The staff were delightful and so informative. Thank you VeganYum, this vegan was in vegan yum heaven!! For anyone who can't consume dairy for what ever reason, I highly recommend this place. And recommend it to anyone who isn't vegan, I dare you to try this amazing vegan food. You won't be able to tell the difference and the best part? Noone has to die

Visited here after having lunch at the nearby neon ramen and was surprised with the wide selection of delicious looking, entirely vegan desserts. Although it was a tough decision, I opted for the biscoff cinnamon roll which was $8. This was no doubt one of the best vegan desserts I’ve had, the cinnamon roll was squidgy and soft and absolutely loaded with the mouthwatering biscoff spread. My only critique is that I wish there was more cinnamon in the actual cinnamon roll because there was barely any.

Great little vegan bakery. Throughly impressed with the range of vegan and gluten-free baked goods available. For a specialty bakery the prices are understandably more than you’d pay elsewhere but not exorbitant. I had a pepper steak pie and got a spinach roll for my housemate, along with their galaxy brownie. I was really impressed with my pie, my housemate said theirs was just okay, but the brownie was a standout (it’s very decadent so glad we shared). The display cakes looked beautiful so I will certainly be ordering a full cake for my next function. I’m so glad to see more vegetarian and vegan options around here.

Veganyumm bakehouse made the cakes for mine and my husbands wedding. The communication process was smooth. The cakes were beautiful. Beyond my imagination and far better than the photo I sent in. They were a hit at the wedding. The majority of our guests weren’t vegan but none of them could tell the cakes were. Our 2 tiered cake was too delicious - we didn’t end up saving any of it for our 1 year anniversary. We just decided we would order another cake for then. we look forward to trying a different flavour.

I love all their stuff, but I think it's a bit sneaky to not display pricing. I bought a brownie thinking it couldn't be more than $5 but it was $7 when I paid for it. Ok fine, but why not just display that? Then they tried to get me to buy something else because everything under $10 comes with a 20cent surcharge for card. This was not displayed either. Just be transparent ‍♀️ it's just awkward having to ask the price of every single item.

Big thanks to Veganyumm for my Birthday cake!! I got the cookie-dough chocolate cake (8inch), and it was incredible. The cake itself was delicious - rich & fudgy, but the icing is the absolute best part! And it was beautifully decorated - it even had edible glitter sparkles in it (the photo doesn't do it justice). I already loved the cupcakes here, but now I'll be ordering any birthday cakes I need too, because the quality is amazing plus the cake is a decent size (it serves a lot of people).

I’ve been a regular at Veganyumm for years now and honestly can’t recommend them enough ! It’s the only place I’ll ever get a birthday cake from. Not to mention all the amazing savoury options if you need a quick bite to eat and coffee on the go. And if you’re worried about it being vegan, I have got all my non vegan friends and family to try their food and they love it so much that they ask for a veganyumm cake for their birthdays.

I absolutely love veganyumm - I get my fix at the Brisbane city markets. I am currently obsessed with their lemon cheesecake, custard tart and falafel wrap. Oh and also biscoff cookie and tiramisu :).

To the owner, as a non vegan I can say this place has some of the most delicious cakes I've ever tasted. As someone who also can't have dairy products, the creams and icings you use on those cupcakes are amazing and taste exactly like the non vegan versions. My only complaint was that some of the brownies and slices were a bit too oily for my liking, but overall they tasted alright. Keep up the great work to the staff and the managers of this establishment<3

Such a good range of yummy vegan sweets, desserts & savoury options too. The samosas are really good. They make great coffee with a range of vegan milk options. The staff are friendly. Nice atmosphere & cute store design. They have made the cafe work well in the limited amount of space they have. It’s usually easy to find a park. It’s right next to Charlie’s fruit market & vegan pantry so you can do some grocery shopping in the one trip.

Now I’m not normally one to eat vegan things but today on the way to work my car broke down on the main road in front of the shop. And savannah one of the bakers was so lovely and came out and helped me push it off the road and even made me a coffee Wich was unreal first time having oat milk and I thought it was great so definitely will come in store to surport after the help today was much appreciated.

Got a higher rating for our wedding cake because it turned out really good but customer service was awful. We would send an email with questions and then would have to wait ages for a reply and wouldn’t even answer all our questions so we would have to wait again to get the other questions answered. Also threatening to charge us a fee for not picking up the samples on a certain date is pretty awful.

We love your cupcakes! We've been Halloween customers for three years now and we will forever be. My nephew loved your cupcakes so much this year that he asked if we can buy cupcakes from you for other holidays as well, haha.

my absolute favourite bakery in Brisbane! I can’t believe that all their treats are vegan and that they also have gluten-free options, it makes my life so much easier! I once brought my friends a “chicken” sandwich and a “sausage” roll and they couldn’t even tell that it’s vegan.. just so delicious. Also the staff is very helpful and patient with all my questions around allergies. Thank you!

I travelled far just to experience this bakery and I was not disappointed! It took me so long to decide what to buy but I got the creamy chicken pie, a Vegemite scroll, a chocolate mousse and a large biscoff cookie and it was ALL delicious and I can’t wait to make time to go back! Highly recommend for anyone who loves their sweets, you don’t have to be vegan!

I love the food! I love the place! The staff are lovely and accommodating! The pastries and cupcakes are delicious! Only problem is, there are foods containing peanuts in the cabinets.. I’m severely allergic to peanuts. I chose things away from the peanuts, but definitely still scary. If you’re going to make a vegan bakery, why not exclude peanuts too?

Finally a vegan bakery in Brisbane!! This place does an amazingggg stayk and pepper pie! The pastry was perfect, the filling was delicious and chunky!! The only thing I’d change is the fact there is only one shop, we drove from Bray Park especially to get our lunch at this great place! A++++++++

Review from two years ago Went there for my very first vegan experience and the donut was good and I was never a guy that enjoyed vegan food but I liked what they were selling. Was just a quick pop in and wasn’t sure what I really wanted to get and ended up with 2 donuts. Better eat them when they are still fresh otherwise they go stiff.

Got a falafel wrap and lemon cheesecake. Falafel was, unfortunately, dry as ghandi's sandal and there wasn't much sauce at all to help the problem. The lemon cheesecake, however, was the food of the GODS. My goodness, the deliciousness. It had me closing my eyes to savour the gorgeous flavour. Yumm indeed.

I ordered this beautiful Mother’s Day box so my housemate and I could have a nice high tea and honour his mother who passed, it was a lovely little memorial we did for her and the lovely folk at the bakery delivered the box for me. The items were honestly delicious, and the tea was phenomenal.

My go-to for birthday cakes! They also show up at the vegan festivals too and they’re always a nice little treat there as well. Actually prefer these over regular cakes even though I’m not vegan myself.
