Bought a recliner from Big Lots. Alphonso was awesome and really spent his time and tried to help me. You see I wanted mu discount that they advertised online. We both tried discount codes ordering from my phone just would not give discount. I also talked to store manager and the Big Lots number on the Big Lots Card. I was not given my discount which lets face it false advertising. But Alphonso was so helpful and courtesy he deserves a 5 star. However the Manager here at the colony and Big Lots online deserve a 1 1/2 stars. I will tell anyone that listens when its posted on the website and you can see it and the customer shows it to you Well that is truly false advertising.

Very good store they have a lot of things and very good offers and prices ......... if you want anything just go there to check before you buy it from somewhere else because they will charge you more ....... my favorite big lots the location in wurzbach rd ....... you should go there for shopping anytime any holiday they have everything you need with good prices . you will what do you want for less I’m sure you will enjoy your shopping experience there ..... I remember going to Big Lots, when I was my daughter's age going with (she is 14 now)my Mama Who i miss SSooo Much. I remembering going for the decor for the seasons and my mom for the some furniture they had back in the late 80's and mid-90's to late 90's, because she left me at the age after turning 18yr olds. Well going with my daughter when she is 14, she was looking at the arts n craft and of course I was looking for kitchen ware, bedding for all of us and the main thing furniture. But they have more great stuff , the staff was cool things were they were and just can't wait to go back.

Not very organized. Order a desk online. Received the email stating my order was ready for pickup. Didn't have much time, so decided to call for curbside, no one answered. The parking lot was empty, mind you. So, I went inside, to the furniture department, no one was there. Went up front to the checkout. Nice guy, looked up my order but they hadn't brought it to the front yet. He had to call someone to bring it up....took another 15 minutes before anyone came with my desk that was supposedly ready for pickup....

Big Lots it's big and it has lots to choose from. And all with a friendly staff From the snacks to the summer beachwear to the holiday decorations. They're getting ready for back to school. Bath Essentials. And the list goes on and on and on and on and on some more. Looking for a bargain? Looking for last minute gift? Looking for toys that won't put you in hock? Haven't been here in a while and the prices are RIDICULOUS. Idk how y'all are planning on selling to your regular demographic (broke people) by selling $10 ketchup and $20 shirts lmaoooo won't be surprised when they all start going out of business. Normally I leave with 10ish bags of stuff and now with the prices skyrocketing I could only reasonably afford 2 bags of stuff. Crazy.

Good prices, nice furniture but beware of them canceling your order when they are out of stock because they DO NOT make any effort of trying to get that order to you at a later date. Zero effort! Even when you had paid for it. They just cancel it off your order and just forget you. No call, no nothing! Worst customer service I have ever experienced

The building is very unique for a Big Lots and you wouldn't guess it is a big as it is. The place has all the usual aisles with household, food, pets, etc. It also has a large furniture section. The store is clean and staff friendly. The only drawback is the aisles are a bit disjointed so walking through the store doesn't have much of a flow.

A great Big Lots location with fantastic employees and an organized store. They have an impressive Bed, Bath, and Home selection. I've never seen so many awesome curtain sets!! There is also a large grocery area. My only criticism is that there is not a dedicated Clearance section, which can lead to confusion on prices.

Great inventory, but get ready to get frustrated. So much of their merchandise has no price on it. Time consuming to find staff to help you with the pricing. Do love being a member and getting major savings several times a year. No fee to join, yay.

Great place to buy lots of various items at discount. Shop here for those miscellaneous things like plastic containers, bath supplies, cleaning supplies, kitchenware, vacuum cleaners, pillows. It's like an overstock store.
