    "Binglee Burwood is very bad in customer service,I bought a double door fridge only in March this yr 2023,then,it stopped working,then,I went to the store,the guy called for a service,then,after 1 week a guy came to have a look,he said he cannot fix the fridge,it’s broken because of cockroaches,common how can cockroaches break a fridge,I have been leaving in this house since 15 yrs,it never happened before,also,I do pest control every 6 months,then,I waited n called them again,they sent the same guy n he said it had to be taken to the warehouse and see the problem and I have to pay for everything,I had 5 yrs warranty,2 yrs they gave n I paid for another 3 yrs,I waited for about 2 weeks nobody calked me,then,I called Electrolux n guess what the guy who came to my house he didnot sent the eamail to the warehouse,then,I told them everything,then,after 1 week,somebody called me told me that it will cost me more than $1000,if I have to pay that much money then what’s the point of doing insurance,this is all scam to take the money from us,i think they gave a bad fridge in the beginning,I used to buy everything from binglee Burwood I will never never go there again n buy anything,it’s not that I bought a bad brand,I bought a Westinghouse fridge,I have been shopping there for last 20yrs,I will not even spent a dollar in there,they are the worst shop ever"

Went in to buy a microwave. Narrowed it down to 2 models, left to think about it. Came back, went with the more sensible choice after the sales person helpfully moved our choice to a power point so we could test the settings. Got told that store was out of stock and we could collect (but had to pay in full immediately) in 2-3 days. At this point all they had to do was make good on supply and this would be a 5 star review (the sales person did carry a microwave across the store for me). So we pay and leave the store (or would have but I thought I would check out the fridges) and we get a call telling us that actually we couldn't have the chosen product, but we could order something different over the phone. But I was not driving away and thus forced to make an on the spot choice, I was in the store, so came back to the sales person. Suddenly my choice was back ordered with no eta so I might have to wait a year (his words) or I could buy something else. (At this point had he made any effort this would be a 4 star review). So after having to ask if there was any other models he finally volunteered that there was a black (+$70) and a stainless steel (+$30) avaliable. I said (because tired me can't math) that I don't want to pay and extra $80 for the black but I don't like stainless, and hubby corrected my math, and there was silence from the sales person, no offer of a discount, no thrown in promo product, no gift card I probably wouldn't use to get me over the line. So after looking at hubby for his thoughts (We can mind read after 14 years together) I said "I guess we should just get a refund then...?" expecting the sales person to do something. But he did nothing. (At this point, I wouldn't have bothered with a review but if I had, 3 stars was possible, had the just given my money back without issue). But no, when we get to the counter with my less than an hour old receipt, we are met with the least helpful cashier who took my card and spent several minutes comparing it to the 8 digits on the receipt before staring into space untill I started tapping my nails that she a commenced the refund process with much sighingand acting very put upon. And this is the story of why I won't go back to Bing Lee, and why despite paying listed price for a new microwave I don't have one.

Not happy with my experience at all. Felt like they just wanted their sales, didn't look after their customers at all. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU FOLLOW THEIR RECOMMENDATION! Their policy is NOT flexible and NOT consumer-friendly. If you really want to buy something from them, BE 110% SURE YOU WANT IT AND WILL LIKE IT as they DON'T do change of mind refund/exchange! Don't buy from Bing Lee if you can buy from JB/Officeworks or other bigger stores that offers change of mind refunds/exchange. Went in looking for a particular gps, they don't have it in store, recommended another brand saying it's BETTER. Bought it and tried it - the design and setting was SO BAD, nowhere compared to the one we wanted. Wanted refund/exchange (the gps was in still in brand new condition, it was reset to manufacturer mode, with all the original packaging) but got told they don't do change of mind returns. Fair, I understand that different stores have different policies; and yours happen to be inflexible. Shame on us for not checking and blindly following your recommendation of product. But why didn't you guys tell me that when I made my purchase; especially when you knew that it WASN'T the product I intended to buy. ALSO the manager was just COLD and NOT empathic towards customers at all. Like at least acknowledge the fact that your policy is dumb and made us wasted $180 after we followed your recommendation? Been coming to the Burwood Bing Lee store for almost 10 years, bought a lot of our appliances from here. They have some nice staff. But honestly I will stick to bigger stores like Kmart or JB from now on as they offer a much more flexible and consumer-friendly policy.

One of the worst experience. I will never visit Bing Lee in Burwood again. I walked in wanting to buy reasonable headphones for my IPhone. I showed the clueless sales advisor what I needed in detail. I was in a rush and it was exactly after 9:15am so I wasn’t focused on what the clueless sales advisor recommended. I bought it only to discover that the jack for the headphones are not for IPhone phones. I walked in & I was like dude I showed you and explained to you in detail what I wanted. He had a cheeky smirk and was like “ Where Box “ I said I was in a rush I threw it in the bin because I wanted to use them. The clueless sales advisor then continued asking “ well you need adaptor “ I was like forget it as I was walking out he said “ I give you money “ Obviously I did not take the $19 I said you can keep it. On a side note this is quite hilarious it indicates outside the store “ honest advise since 1957 ( I forgot the date ) I did not see 1% of what Bing Lee “Suppose” to be about.

Bought a pair of earbuds at Rhodes a month ago, but the design didn't fit my ear and the background noise was too loud. Then I went to Burwood Bing Lee asked for refund, the staff told me that we cannot refund and this is what you expected with this price, and there lot of people who have no problems with this earbuds and if u want a better quality get an expensive one. He then offered me a voucher, which I don't want. Then he kept saying we cant refund the money if you change your mind or the product is under your expectations. I said I have to right to request a refund according to the return policy if the product doesn't fit. Then that staff called Rhodes Bing Lee eventually he said we will refund the money to my account. I don't understand why he had to be rude to me and in Australia customers have the right to refund the products if they are faulty or change of mind. I will never go back to Burwood Bing Lee because the staff is so rude.

Bought a rice cooker from the burwood store and the sales guy was pushy (understandable). He suggested a tiger comer on the shelf but it was out of stock. He relayed the Rhodes store for us to pick up. After picking it up we found it was the lower model without the steamer plate option. We went back to the store and the sales guy said we couldn't exchange it because we opened it. He obviously didn't understand the concept of warranties. (Although he tried to scam us with an extended warranty. )We will take this up to fair trading as the guy wouldn't budge on the situation. He ended up telling us to go to an Asian market store and to get an el cheapo steamer plate for the cooker! Actually we found a cheaper price at tong Lee in Rhodes for the correct model. Very disappointed and will never shop at bing lee ever again. Sales staff at the branch were unfriendly and arrogant and they don't look after you after they take away your money!

Mid last year I looked online to see if the smart watch that I wanted was In stock. The website said it had stock and then when got to Burwood the shop assistant said that they don't and that they did not update their website. So now I am going all the way to Penrith to get it! Today I looked online for a Roomba vaccume cleaner. Bing Lee store said it was in stock on website. Get to store, pay $888.00 for the vaccume to have the shop assistant come back and tell me they have none in stock! I WILL NEVER EVER SET FOOT IN THIS PITIFUL EXCUSE FOR A STORE EVER AGAIN. THANK YOU FOR WASTING MY TIME AND MONEY FOR NOTHING!!! Oh and another thing when I was waiting for the vaccume cleaner that I had paid for I asked the person at check out if they could help me with gaming headphone and the response I got was "Sorry I don't know anything about that." I count not put into words how frustrating this store is!!!

The sales person was very abrupt in her communication and approach. The policy of not price matching from online stores could have been communicated in a polite and approachable manner. When I provided feedback after the sale was finalized, the sales person Tracy was talking over me to the point where I had to request her to let me finish my sentence. When I spoke with the store manager Jonathan, I was told that “no one has ever raised this feedback with us before and 1000 of customers walk through this door. This is your isolated opinion”. Working in a customer care industry myself, it was a very disappointing experience where constructive feedback was also not being taken and even more disappointing that the store manager became defensive rather than taking the feedback of the customer on board and perhaps use this as an opportunity to educate the team on 101 communication skills.

Don't go here, terrible customer service. I wanted to exchange a wireless headphone due to the design of the ear cushion would start hurting my ear after about half hour of use (on top of ear) my knowledge for tech would summaries as standard but this product is terrible. So I explained this to the person serving me on the phone and he put the blame on me for not choosing correctly? "You had the chance to try them out at the store? " Like im going to stand there for half an hour to see if this would hurt my ears? Just another money grab of a store. If you know what your looking for but find out later it actually does damage physically like my case "my ears" due to the design and the store dose nothing to help and puts the blame on you, very disappointed. Will be complaining to Management. Ill keep you guys posted on the outcome.

Customer services is at worst, more staffs training needed. I walked into the store and literally all the staffs were just standing still and stared at me, even the cashier girl was sitting down on her computer with her hand on her cheeks giving me the judgmental look. When I asked if they could assist me with installing the item on my phone the attendant proceeded to say we dont have that here you have to open it by yourself. Wow. Thats fine. At final I decided not to buy the item anymore even I was about to mostly because of the staffs' attitudes. They just said all good and then looked at me waiting for me to leave the store as if I'm the one to degrade the store looks. Never come back here, I would rather pay a hundred bucks more just to be better treated in Norman Harvey or JB Hi Fi.

I went in for a washer and found that the models they sell are all the ones having a good product review online. The sales person are down to earth and will not waste your time by distracting you to other models with irrelevant details. The price is the best on the market. The delivery was very reliable and well organized. They rang me the day before and then rang me the next morning the exact time they promised and arrived in 5 min, very swift delivery and installation, put everything neat and tidy and left before I had a chance to give them a tip. After the delivery we could go to work on time! For electronics, I will go to Bing Lee from now on.

I had a terrible experience at Bing Lee Burwood I would recommend going to another Bing Lee in the area. The manager Johnathan treated us terribly. We bought an item that was damaged and Johnathan made us drive from Alexandria to Gilford to picking up a new item. And that's after driving all the way from Alexandria to Burwood to pick up the item in the first place. The nice girl at the office in Bing Lee in Gilford asked us why the manager at Burwood didn't organise the changeover for us to save us all the driving. We both were shocked. I spent most of the day driving around picking up and dropping off a damaged product. Absolutely terrible.

A month long wait for an item and a ridiculous delivery experience. Never got a confirmed delivery date. One day just an SMS at 6am saying they will be there in half an hour. Failed delivery. Then another reattempted delivery with no SMS or advice about when they would come. I contacted them and was advised a delivery window that they then missed by hours. Third time I got delivery. Was offered a gift voucher to say sorry. Went to use the gift voucher today. To use it it says you should contact their online chat... I contact their online chat who says I need to call them. Everything about this experience has been a joke.

Previously all my experiences with Bing Lee have been positive. I have brought many products from many different outlets and found them very accomodating. But my experiences with a particular staff member at Burwood is why I am leaving a 1-star review. Rather than listen to my grievances about a product, he loudly questioned me in front of other staff and customers. I work in retail, that is not how you handle that kind of situation. I will certainly not be ever going back to the Burwood store, in the future I will keep to the Rhodes and City stores. At least the staff there are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic manager! Last November 2022, I bought an NVR security system online that was defective. The security company and Bing Lee customer service made me jump through some hoops to prove that the NVR system was defective, which I did. However, as I happened to be in Sydney just before Christmas and urgently needed a replacement, I went to the store. The manager was fantastic and gave me a replacement. Sure enough, there WAS an issue with the NVR. Being able to get a new system directly from the store saved me a lot of time as I no longer had to return the system to BL and wait for a replacement.

Look for the manager he wears black uniform and looks more casual. I had a shockingly bad experience with Panasonic customer care. Bing Lee handle your items for the first year then after that the manufacturer does. I had my microwave replaced two times this was the third. Panasonic were giving some rubbish talk I knew breached my consumer rights. Long story short the manager sorted it out and I walked out with a new microwave. The ordinary workers didn't know that much better but I see why he's the manager. Asian guy wearing black shirt with a more casual look to him. He's your man.

Worst customer service and rude. The manager was the most rude person… ran into the store that was still open right on close and they didn’t serve me as they had closed the cash register. I offered to pay the exact money even and knew exactly what I wanted! The manager said no … I pleaded as I urgently needed the item. He said no should have come earlier… I then said I’m not going to come back here. The response was… DONT COME BACK WE PREFER YOU DONT. Absolutely rude, disrespectful and disgusting. My opinion is if you can go elsewhere then go elsewhere. Will never be back here.

I have been to Bing Lee burwood store recently and bought a Bosch dishwasher machine. The service is quiet good and the price is very competitive. The delivery and pickup old one is only about $49, compare with $89 from The Good Guys and $189 from Harvey Norman. If you know exactly what you wanna get, make sure you check it at Bing Lee and see if that will save you few bucks. I was surprised by the friendly staff in the store, which I wasn't expect the service at that level to be honest. I would go back if i need other white goods at home.

They are horrible. I bought tv, fridge and washing machine all in the same Burwood shop. The sales David made me pay two delivery fees and promised me will install my fridge for me. Then, later on they sent me a scratched fridge, which wasn't installed properly. I requested to replace the faulty product, he said can replace it but rejected to install it properly for me, also won't refund the extra delivery fees I paid. What a scam!

It was very poor service I had the other day. I made the SA to help me because I was the only customer there in the morning. He was not friendly and I even went to their main website to complain. It was online chat and the service representative did not response. I left email address and no one got back to me. I had much better service in The Good Guys today. Will not go back again.

Went in today to buy a laptop. I think the person who helped me was Brian the Korean man. He was great. But I have to give three stars because of the sickenly loud and awful EDM/hardstyle music playing through the speakers. It was too loud and vibrating the floors. Not everyone enjoys this kind of music. It's not a rave. Please do not subject your customers to awful music.

I was told delivery would happen between 8-11 am, wait until noon but nothing came up. I have to leave for work and rang the shop while on my way to reschedule delivery. The sales person James seems not interested in it. Keep saying you can't reschedule, you need to pay extra delivery fee etc, without any apologies about this mistake. Very rude customer service.

I went to the store with my daughter to shop for a GPS device and a stick vacuum cleaner. We waited for 15 minutes for assistance and every shop assistant said they were busy and would be with us soon. 15 minutes passed and still no one could serve us and so we left. There are other stores and really there is no need to visit this very BUSY and unhelpful store.

Good service and competitive pricing. Been buying goods from them for years. Online and Pick up services are efficient, will send you notification to pick earlier than expected. You can also pick up straight from their storeroom at the back up with your car/van which is quite convenient as well and the guy is more than happy to give you a hand for larger item.

I purchased an item online from Bing Lee Burwood Store during the evening and received an e-mail and text notification the next morning to advise it was ready to collect. I was able to park on street directly behind the store, to complete my item pickup. The process was an easy one and the service I received in store and in the loading document was excellent.

I called the store regarding my order, but the staff called Ming didn't even bother to ask any details. He simply assumed you didn't follow their instructions, and spoke in a very rude manner. I have previously spoken with other staff in this store who were actually more knowledgeable and helpful. It was a very disappointing customer service experience.

2 staff members telling me different things. One said they could price match yesterday's black friday price, and other said they couldn't. Very questionable when it was cheaper and all of the Bing Lee stores had no stock yesterday. Today, the price has gone up by $50 and they all suddenly have stock. Unbelievable, will be reporting this to ACCC.

Don’t bother to go to Binglee at Burwood if you're only looking at something below $300. I was looking at the microwave, and no one offered help. One of the asian male staff walked past and I asked questions, he did not even stop and he just rushed to the customer who was looking at the fridge. One star is too much for Binglee Burwood!

Goods ready for collection in about 30 minutes which was great, and pickup quick and easy. Minor quibble in that the advertised "deliver to car" seemingly only available if use back entrance but no warning of this in ad or confirming email. I've used Bing Lee before and will happily use them again. Good price, good service.

Just an electrical apps store you need around the corner. I literally got most of my stuff home from here. the delivery stands out, I mean when those guys came they pulled of the package and took away with them. How nice is that. I just spent two hours the day before dealing with those cardboards. Professional.

I always shop at Bing Lee Burwood because you get excellent service especially from Adrian the Assistant Manager. If you want a bigger discount ask for Adrian. I purchased a French Door fridge by Fisher and Paykel massive space, beautiful stainless steel finish and $299 cheaper than Harvey Norman and JB HIFI

Every time I visit Bing Lee in Burwood always unpleasant. They are very unfriendly and look me down if I buy less than $200. When I ask items more than $8,000 they keep following me and serve me. What kind of staff are they? They need to be train from the beginning. That is wrong how to serve customers.

Bing Lee provide excellent service. I was able to pick up my purchase first thing on Saturday morning. I had actually purchased 2 tvs by mistake, they organised for the refund the next day, even though it was the weekend. I recommend them to anyone and commend them for their excellent customer service.

Just wanna share my experience at Bing Lee burwood , i had a great shopping experience by Ming Ma who help me organise everthing. At the time of delivery there wss a little mistake but Jonathan the manager he actually help me cover the extra cost of delivery which was very much appreciated.

How is it that the first room is sleek and modern, makes you want to shop, then you go upstairs and I feel like you guys are shutting down. Definitely the smallest Bing Lee I've seen, staff are average but the layout is boring, dull and I really don't want to shop there

I had brought quite a few stuffs from here. Evantually my vaccum stopped working and my microwave. I had warranty; but the store always made some excuses and didn't cover for my vaccum and Microwave. Be careful when you buy, they aint gonna cover any warranty later.

Not bad service. They are prepared to price match on most things. Like anything you have to do your own product reviews before purchasing any big ticket item. Remember they are there to sell and up sell if possible. Any problems and they take stuff straight back.

Got a fridge, washing machine and TV 6 days before moving. I received frequent texts about how delivery would work. Delivered just before the removalists finished, with all packaging removed and installation done. A fantastic experience.
