I purchased a Samsung CJ791 34" ultra wide screen monitor from Bing Lee online and picked up from Carlingford store. I initially wanted to buy it from JB HiFi as I was buying a number of items some of which were cheaper there and also, I like their 'non-salesy' negotiability. The JB HiFi salesman informed me that this monitor is 'Z stock' which means old, hard-to-find, purchasable online only and not on display. Still, I happily went online to make my purchase, however their website failed them as it didn't allow me to add this item to their cart for some reason. After 5 minutes of fiddling around and realising this wasn't working, I googled other stores who sold this monitor and up came Bing Lee and Harvey Norman. All were same-priced. I actually have had more buying experience in Harvey Norman and had more trust for them however, I chose Bing Lee simply because Carlingford store is a shorter drive for me. I'm very pleased and surprised with how quickly the order was ready to pick-up (I really liked the uncomplicated flow of order update email information). It took only 3 hours for this apparently "old, hard-to-find and purchasable online only" monitor was ready for me to pick up. Furthermore, I was very pleasantly surprised to see the monitor on display when I came in store for my pickup. If only I had seen or known that it was available for me to inspect earlier, I would have come to Bing Lee right away. The pick-up experience was very quick and effortless. Staff were friendly and efficient. I had such a great experience, I didn't even mind not getting a discount which is crazy for someone of Asian background lol. Will definitely be keeping Bing Lee front of mind next time I'm in the market for technology. I'll be asking for a discount next time however ;) TLDR: Fabulous experience, fast, unexpectedly had stock on hand when no where else did. Didn't even mind not asking for a discount!

In general, people like Bing Lee because customers can actually ask for a discount / better price so they can actually do a price match! And so I bought ALL of my appliances from Bing Lee but in different branches (Chatswood, Rhodes and this one). In Carlingford, I bought my TV, Printer and Vacuum. Everything was ok except that my dealings with Tony seems to be not the best. Talking to him, I can sense that he is not willing to give me the best price for a product so I have to tell him that I have done some checking from another branch and they gave it for a particular price before he finally nudges. One particular point was when he told me that he can give me the Epson Printer for 430 (orig price 489) but all of sudden during final sales he was saying it was for 480! I was surprised and told him that he said 430 earlier and that infact my wife said to me that it was a good price since we got 59 off. He anyway gave it for 430 without much discussion but can't help to have that feeling of mistrust. Also, the TV was not immediately available so I had to comeback after a few days to pick it up. There was no agreed date and he promised to call me once it's available, he never did and I had to call to verify. The other people in this branch seems nice, I guess I was unfortunate to have my dealings with this guy.

Bing Lee Carlingford Court is by far our favorite shop for electronic items. During 2020 we have visited them frequently and the service we have received as been nothing short of excellent. A special mention is in order for store manager Sal. He has not only served us exceptionally well, he has given us very useful and relevant advice with regards to our purchases. Tony Low too has been very helpful, advising us on the electrical suitability of ovens etc. for our apartment. We made a significant purchase at one time and requested a specific delivery date and location. However due to an unforeseen event we had to cancel the delivery at the very last minute. Bing Lee very kindly held on to our order for well over a month and then agreed without fuss to deliver to another location without charging us extra. I do not know the name of all the staff who have served us but our visit to Bing Lee Carlingford has always been a pleasant experience. Prices are competitive, service is friendly and courteous and advice helpful and relevant. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you Sal and team for making our life easy. One stop shop for all your electronic needs.

Bought a vacuum cleaner during Black Friday sales. Bing Lee indicated both online and in-store that the product was in stock. However moments later in store, the sales associated retracted this and said there was only 5 in store across NSW and that I would have to wait until they has their next shipment of vacuums and said that they had 18 on back order which would arrive between 11-13 December. It is now 21 Dec and we’ve not had any communication from them. We went instore to check today and they cannot even tell us the date they will have them in. Really poor service and promises about stock they did not keep at all. Now I’m without a vacuum that is paid for and they won’t even communicate about when they would receive the next shipment or when my vacuum would come in. Customer service is so poor that the Indian sales said that he would just refund me rather than deal with the issue and he was completely unapologetic too. Bing Lee, don’t lie about having stock just to make a sale. Would give 0 stars if I could. We’ve already given more than 7 days leeway in case shipments were delayed.

This is an honest review without me being dramatic. I walked into the Carlingford store with the clear intent of buying a new TV, after walking in with my brother I approached the television area and was approached by an employee who seemed very uninterested. I asked him what he thought the best tv was for gaming and he literally read the card in front of the TV and said "well this one is HD". I then asked him what the best price he could do was for the TV I intended to buy and he gave me $5 off and then stared at me blankly. His entire energy and vibe was that I was an inconvenience. I then told him that I would check with JB HIFI and before I could finish my sentence he had his back to me walking off. I'm heading to JB HIFI tomorrow where I always recieve better service and am treated like a person, not a pest. You have one job, serve the customer, and you still failed.

5 stars to all the staff at this store especially Sal! On Saturday I went to this store to return a coffee machine I bought from Rhodes as the manager from Rhodes was really rude and didn't care at all. I was assisted by one of the store staff from this store (forgot to ask for his name) but he was very patience and tried to do his best understanding the issues. When I was about to leave I bumped into Sal and he was curious what the issue was, at the time I didn't know he was the store manager but we spent some time going through the details of the machine. Although I was not able to return but the customer service was totally exceptional. Fast forward to today, Delonghi admitted the false advertisement and return successful processed by Bing Lee. Thanks to William for helping out today. Definitely will return to this store for my home appliances :)

Bing Lee Carlingford are absolutely fantastic. I have made many purchases from Bing Lee Carlingford and I am always happy with their service provided. Salespersons are always polite, helpful and willing to negotiate best prices for me. The delivery are always efficient. Last week I bought a French Door refrigerator from Carlingford store over the phone, not only I was able to get a competitive price and I also had the item delivered the next day. Furthermore, I was extremely impressed by the delivery service provided by the driver Jeremy. He is so professional, skilful and hardworking. Jeremy kindly lifted this super heavy refrigerator up 46 stairs into my house under a very warm weather condition without any issue. Bing Lee Carlingford is highly recommend! Good price, efficient and great delivery services.

Very disappointed… the guy helped us buying a microwave and he wasn’t there, so i asked other staff a question about kettle. The other staff helped me buying a kettle too. When i walked up to the counter, suddenly both of them turned up when i’m trying to buy the stuff at the counter. Im not sure if they get incentives for sales…cuz they were putting the stuff under their name..: then, i forgot to buy a toast and grill presser so i asked the staff and he was like “ask someone else”. I was shocked, cuz if you are working at bing lee, your first priority would be helping customers?! It’s ridiculous because even when i was buying a microwave the staff didn’t answer or help properly and when i said i want one of this model he was suddenly became friendly. (He probably thought i wasn’t going to purchase it)

I have made all my appliance purchases from Bing Lee Carlingford. I had previously bought a mini fridge and vacuum cleaner. I was so happy with the service I decided to go back to Bing Lee to purchase more items for my new home. I spoke to Dimitry, he was immediately helpful and professional. He went above and beyond answering all my questions and getting back to me straight away. Especially during these lockdowns he made me feel very informed and comfortable with my purchases given I picked them online. Due to the exceptional service provided by Dimitry I ended up purchasing my new fridge, coffee machine, washing machine, kettle, toaster and Nutri bullet with him. Extremely happy and impressed with the service provided.

A big shout out to Dimitry from Bing Lee Carlingford! Dimitry demonstrated what world class service looks like. We had a very difficult experience for a fridge purchased two years ago. Kept having issues even after multiple repairs/replacement. Dimitry really put himself in our shoes and tried really hard to contact the manufacturer on our behalf to resolve the issue asap. During the whole process, he was the only party that kept contacting and checking the status of the matter for us. We really appreciate everything you have done and definitely will come back again for future purchase as we know we will be looked after. You set the bar high for everybody else in the industry :) and just want to say thank you!

Great fast service. Highly recommended. Don't talk to somebody at a call centre. Go to Bing Lee and talk with a real person. When our old oven's element burnt out, it wasn't worth fixing, so we decided to buy a new one. I rushed to Bing Lee late on Thursday night to see what was available. They have the latest models of most brands on display, and although it was late, and other shops were closing, William gave me plenty of time to work through various options, and what we actually needed. So we worked through the shortlist of options on Friday, purchased after work on Friday at a price that beat other online sellers. And then our new Bosch oven arrived, on time, as promised on Saturday morning. Thank you

I’ve brought a number of items here in the past but I won’t be back again. We were just about to buy a Dehydrator when the salesman asked for my partner’s details, I had not heard his question properly and my partner (who is hard of hearing) thought he had asked if he required ‘Extended Warranty’. The salesman corrected my partner in a rude manner and when I tired to explain my partners deafness, he fired back at me. Needless to say we left without the purchase. This Salesman is obviously in the wrong job with no customer service skills and we expect so much more from a Bing Lee employee. So disappointed won’t be back as this type of rudeness is unacceptable from a Salesperson

Bought a Dyson heater fan from this store as they were the only Bing Lee with stock in Sydney and just so happened there was an eBay sale for it. I chose to pick it up from Carlingford and called up asking if they could get it organised for me to pick up that night. All was fine on the phone and no problems picking up but the attitude was typical of Bing Lee staff - it was if they had done you a big favour by organising the pick up on the same day and their attitude was arrogant and patronising. I’m a customer who just spent over $500 on a heater and no sign of appreciation for the customer. Would never shop at a Bing Lee unless I knew I was getting the cheapest price.

I bought a vacuum cleaner and an Asko washing machine last month and so far have been extremely happy with both my appliances. Tony is the man to talk to if you need any help. He was able to answer all my questions and was happy to spend the time showing me how everything worked. Sal the manager also assisted in the sale of the washing machine. Their after sales care was also exceptional, they followed up to see if my machine was delivered as Asko stuffed up the delivery date and also offered time to ask any further questions after the installation. Was so impressed with the old fashioned service and care for their customers. Will definitely purchase from here again.

In December 2020 we purchased a Samsung TV from William. However sometimes you get a lemon. We went through the Samsung service program twice to be repaired but when another component went and Samsung still wanted to replace 'a broken part' this wasn't good enough We then contacted William to see if he could influence Samsung in any way. He said he was going to do better than that and replace the TV with the 2021 model. He also had it delivered and the broken TV picked up. If you ever need anything electrical this is your one stop shop. We don't go anywhere else and Bing Lee is always price competitive. Well done and thanks again William.

Poor customer service. Salesman at the desk was rude. The website said 4 stores have stock and then I get to the shop and no stores have any stock at all and it's all in the central wharehouse. Which was annoying but not the worst thing but THEN HE MOCKED ME FOR NOT CALLING AHEAD?!?! His words while laughing at me: "if it was so important to have today why didn't you call ahead? " No apologies for not having the stock no offer to help get it delivered or make a consideration for my working billable hours that were wasted comming to their store. And then the manager sat up from behind the desk to try and justify his employees behaviour.

The staff know where products are located - which saves me time looking for it. I went to the shop after receiving email of their specials. I wanted to purchase two items and I was in a rush, so the staff member led me straight to the items. I was concerned the price on the shelf was not the price in the email, but it scanned at the cheaper price. Unfortunately when I got home I found one product didnt appear to work, so I took it back to the store and they immediately swapped it for a replacement and checked to see the new item worked before I took it home. I have bought Several products from Bing Lee ,Carlingford and i found Sal was very helpful on more than one occassion. We bought a TV and aTV stand from Bing Lee . He could have sold us expensive one but he specifically asked about the current TV unit we have and suggested a model so that we could reuse the old TV unit. When there was a issue with the screw (manufacturer's fault) , he went beyond his duty to fix the problem on the same day which saved us a lot of time and money. The customer service was excellent. Would highly recommend to use Sal's service. Happy with the experience and result.

I bought a couple of products from bing lee carlingford this and the customer service was just great. Jerry was the contact person for me and he was giving me advises and opinions like he is buying them for his own. I asked for a washing machine to be delivered and installed and the person delivered was just on time and took with him longer time to balance it because he wants to make sure won't cause any problem on a longer time. Unbalanced washing machine will not work correctly at some stage.... etc. gave me all advises to maintain it. Thank you. I love bing lee Carlingford....

Simply pathetic customer service and girls working in customer service are very rude... They expect customer to know that their systems have changed, and new system does not accept the OLD system invoice number... I kept repeating the same mobile used on the invoice but she was not able to find me because of new system and i should know that ... She did not bother to give her name and just hang up on me after giving extended warranty contact number... Stay away from such store who do not care about customers or providing Australian standard services...

We recently bought a Foodsaver vacuum sealer from your store. The service person Tran needs to be commended for she served us very well. This cannot be said of all staff there as some male persons are so abrupt when buying small value items. (Is this because they are paid just incentives?). One common thing I have found is that the warranty information is not stated well in your website or in display info. This product comes with a 2-year REPLACEMENT warranty...state so to make it more informtive to a buyer please. It does make a huge difference.

We have been making almost all our significant home purchases from Bing Lee Carlingford ever since moving into the area. We had an urgent need for a replacement washing machine when ours failed rather spectacular fashion. We shortlisted a few machines and decided on the final machine with the assistance of Sal the store manager. I click & collect @ Carlingford Court store Sunday 27th March 2022 @ around 1.30pm. It was fast and efficient and the staff couldn't do enough for me and said it wouldn't take long to get my purchase out from the back and it didn't. The customer service girl (I didnt get her name) was so nice on the front desk and had great customer service skills, she was fast with my docket and did it all with a genuine smile. She is an asset to your company to be greeted with such genuine care. I will be shopping there again.

Absolutely unbelievable! We’ve ordered carbon filter for our rangehood online, selected stock pick up, checked with the carlingford store they said they had them available. Went there yesterday, they said they ran out of the stock and can ordered from another store we need to go back to pick up later. And just a moment ago they told us this stock had been discontinued, they have the exactly same item in new packagings but they are $3 each extra. Seriously don’t waste your time with them.

We recently moved to Carlingford from Ryde and this was the first time we bought something at Bing Lee carlingford. Their promise of 30 mins click and collect was perfectly followed. Their store opened at 10 am and 10:30 I had the text that the product was ready for pick up. Very glad to recommend Dimitry who is the best sales I have even seen. He has deep understanding on the product which can bring you the target to point answers. Even there was a small episode happened during the delivery of our Hitachi Fridge, he tried his best to leverage all the possibilities to solve the issue. So helpful, the sales people seem to really know about the appliances they sell. I bought a computer which they were able to sell me at an excellent price and I also received a gift card for $84 just for shopping there! Bought a sandwhich press that could cook my steaks but had to return it (due to high wattage) which was no hassle at all. Excellent service and very friendly team. Even though it was super busy, all my needs were met. Thank you so much!

Had the products I needed but one of the staff members were just weird. I, a grown woman, with a pram!! Couldn’t even walk around the store with an iPhone charger! He wanted to keep it at the front desk when I still had other things to look at. He followed me to the back of the store and said he will keep the items at the front desk for me ?? He was so awkward about it and made me feel like I was being watched the whole time. Won’t be back.

People in Bing Lee are nice and supportive but do not buy Samsung from them as I had a very bad experience with Samsung . When a few years ago the fridge got a problem I accepted that they repair it rather than replace it (do not do that) and as a result gas leaking happened now. Contacted Samsung service they charged me 160$ to say that is your problem and cannot be fixed. So I do not trust this brand and their customer services

I've been a regular customer at this Carlingford brand from when Bing Lee opened up shop in Carlingford Court. Over the years, some of the sale person became my good advisor to products that I had purchased. Lately I have bought a tv at this branch. And I am lucky to meet Dimitry Chipizubov, he is friendly and helpful. If anyone out there have intention to buy a product at this Carlingford brand, I recommend Dimitry to you :)

I've bought several items now from Bing Lee Carlingford and I found staff very helpful and knowledgeable. One staff member (Sal) in particular went beyond his call of duty and helped us out on a problem, which ended up saving us quite a bit of money. Their subcontracted installation service was very good as well. Also prices seem always a bit cheaper than some of the other big reatilers. I always look there first now!

I was inspecting a product here and minding my own business when one of the workers came over and told me that the product would break in 2-3 years then walked away. No one else bothered to come over to ask if I wanted any assistance. I guess by Sydney standards that’s considered good customer service but by my standards it was appalling, left the store without making a purchase and bought at JB Hi-Fi instead.

First time I went in the store with my kids, we made it on about 5 meters, a guy stood aggressively right behind me, hand on hips, when I glanced at him he said 'what do you want?' I asked why he was being so aggressive and he told me he was getting the manager. The manager advised me of being a thief and walked me out of the shop. Very rude staff. Been waiting in loading dock for half an hour after paying thousands of dollars. Disorganised and not enough staff. I basically had my tax invoice ripped out of my hands when they asked for it to check the model Number of the item I needed to have brought to me. I've shopped at other bing lees over the years and this experience was horrible. It's like the store bing lee forgot.

Bing Lee Carlingford would have got 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that I called them to say my LG subwoofer wasn’t working and all they could say was “when did you buy it ? 2021 was my answer and they said sorry not our problem not under warranty !! Called LG directly and they amazingly had it looked at and repaired within 2 days !!! 5 stars for LG and no stars for Bing Lee

Great customer service from Dimitry who helped me select a dishwasher. He was incredibly knowledgeable in this space and made the decision really easy to proceed and purchase. Great store. While the service is a bit slow, it was still reasonable for picking up a high value item, the time was within a reasonable range. Dimitry is a legend. He gave us excellent service, a great price, the last model of fridge in their inventory, waited 15 minutes after closing at the shop in the rain to wait for us to come and collect it, and then made sure it was delivered to our house by midday the following day. Bing Lee Carlingford are absolutely fantastic. Always fast, efficient and polite. It may sound generic but it's true. I try to order all my electronic devices (Desktop Monitors, headphones, mice, etc) and appliances (Deep Fryer, Cooking Utensils), through them. They always make the transactions smooth and painless.

They’re buyers protection policy only covers products that have manufacturers defects. Even then they’ll only offer a replacement after you have liaised with a third party company. The lack of responsibility towards their own products is unsavoury at best. Customers should proceed with caution before purchasing.

Seemed to be much effort to assist with a basic have you got stock inquiry (the website listed limited amount and suggest to call and check). Don't waste your time calling or even going to the store.
