What a winner. Thank you. Highly recommend. We had the big breakfast and it didn’t disappoint- sausages, bacon, tomato, toast, beans, hash brown and eggs whichever way you like. Yum, yum, yum. Services was so friendly. Even picked up some home made lemon curd. AND order the mug of coffee. Prices we very good. About $20 for the big breakfast! We sat outside so pup could sit with us.

I visited for the first time last Thursday for lunch and went back on the Friday for lunch again. Had breakfast there on the Saturday morning. The Omelet was just the right size and delicious. The flat white coffee was excellent and nice and hot, which is a rarity these days. My lunch meal was the avocado cheese and spinach with a very nice salad and subtle dressing. Pricing was very reasonable and provided very good value. The staff are extremely friendly and the chef is a fair dinkum one who obviously has a lot of pride. I will be going back to try some of the other dishes this weekend.

My mum, miss6 , miss7 & myself had a late lunch & the food was amazing! Not just your typical cafe food, was like being at their home! As for the staff....Now they were very happy to help us(even tho we walked in almost at closing time) I am definitely coming back & I'm telling everyone about our favourite place! Come in for take away coffee ever weekend the staff are very friendly especially the owner/ manager ( not quite sure what one she is) she has learnt my exact order and starts making it before I even order. Me and my partner finally decided to sit in and try the breakfast and let me tell you it did not disappoint came out quickly and tasted great coffee was delicious too.

Not impressed walked in and no one's Said anything to me. I had to get a waiter to sit me at a table and then I didn't get a menu I had to aks for one then I oder it took 20-15 mins for it to come and then when it arrived it was a bit cold and the toast wasn't even toast it was just bread. I probably won't be coming back there. Thanks

Went for a quiet solo brunch the other day. I was happy with my experience. The location and atmosphere was nice. The Eggs Florentine was some of the best I've had and the staff working that day were friendly, welcoming and served the coffee and food promptly.

Placed our order at 9 am ; 2 cappuccinos 2 poached eggs on toast ; fruit toast after waiting 30 min we asked where our order was finally they came out with 2 coffees after another 20 min of waiting received 2 burnt toast with cold eggs on top also the fruit toast was very hard ; whist we were eating seen many people walking out and cancelling orders wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Great family run business with friendly, attentive staff and generous sized meals. They will accommodate for individual dietary needs, and have an extensive all day breakfast and lunch menu. Everything, soups, sauces, pancakes, slow-cooked lamb are homemade and delicious. Reasonably priced and kids will love their menu too. Great cafe in our local Somerville !!

Have been going to the Blackbird for some time now and have always found the staff to be most welcoming. The food is delicious and good value for money. My husband loves their breakfast, my dad adores their pancakes and I think their steak sandwich is the best-love the beetroot relish! This is our 'go to place'. Big thanks for great service and food! :)

Just AMAZING!!!! Food was cooked perfectly & served in separate containers so nothing went soggy. Oh my god the Lime & Coconut cake I could live off. So moist it dissolved on my tongue. Sorry there's no photos but I was consumed with hunger . Will be ordering again.

I had the best bacon and egg roll here the other day, didn't save a picture unfortunately, but ordered with cheese and tomato sauce, it was cooked perfectly and exactly to my liking, will definitely order again, best local b&e I've had in a long time, the lady (forget her name) is always very lovely and chatty too …

My wife and I had breakfast at big bird this morning, we had a big breaky and eggs on toast with coffee. Everything was delicious. Very friendly staff and a great vibe. Definitely recommend trying out breaky or lunch.

Me and my mother came here today for food and coffee. We definitely were not disappointed. Very generous sized meals, we couldn’t finish it All so we took it away with us and the coffee was amazing. Staff were very friendly as well. Definitely recommend this cafe if you’re in the area

Usually a go to, they've forgotten my drink once before so I let it go. Today they forgot my drink AND wedges. Probably won't be ordering take away from them again. Especially as the menulog driver wouldn't go back to the restaurant after I realised half was missing

Great little cafe. Typical unpretentious little suburban place on the corner of a shopping centre car park. Looks family owned. Servings are very generous, staff are friendly and when I visited the food served promptly and very hot as requested.

Absolutely wonderful! Dinner is delicious. Dips and fresh warm homemade bread were soooo good. Meat platter was yummy. Burek pastries are lovely and cheesy. Also their own apple cider is smooth and delicious. Breakfasts are always yummy.

The food here is excellent and the staff are so friendly, this wonderful girl Miranda took our orders and waited our food, splendid service from the waitress.

Food at Blackbird is amazing. Really great value and generous sized dishes. For dinner, I had the HSP which was so good. I have also been for breakfast and their big brekky is awesome. Will definitely be back.

Waited over 30 minutes for 2 coffees, 2 egg and bacon rolls and a protein ball. The rolls were very basic (literally just an egg and bacon in a roll). Won’t be returning. Won’t be recommending. $30 for that.

We just visited your cafe to share a meat and chip platter. Sat down the we found out you want to charge us $3 exta to share it. So we have gone to spend our money at other cafe.
